I get my prescription filled every month right around the same day each month, I've dealt with her on multiple occasions and has been rude, disrespectful and nasty to me almost everytime I've went to fill my script ( especially if there were issues or questions about it) this month was the worse! May 22nd 2026 I had my dr send over my prescription and they asked for it to be filled today as I wa leaving out of town and needed to pick it update rather than tomorrow. This became a WHOLE ISSUE apparently, I called and asked why they were you refusing to fill my prescription and explained I needed it today ( to clarify my insurance covers my medication to be filled and picked up 2 days before the 30 day marks ) it was abnormal for me to pick my medication up on the 28th day of my months considering the type of medication it is and I have to leave my town to go there to pick up. Anyway, they returned my call over an hour later, Ethel was immediately rude to me, talking down on me when I was being polite and just trying to figure this out, she claimed my insurance needed to prove this request because it was before fill date ( in her mind ) so I called my i immediately after and spoke to the women who told me, my medication that I've been on for 6 years was approved to be picked up on day 28 every month and that Ethel didn't even try to run the medication on her end. My insurance offered to call them and speak to her. They got back to me and said " I spoke with Ethel, she said that this would be the ONLY time she would fill this medication and she would refuse todo it anymore after this" so here I am confused on why this women thinks she has ANY say about my medication. She thinks she own this pharmacy , she thinks she's a fucking doctor apparently because she is still in there thinking she can tell people when they can pick up there medication even though MY DOCTOR AND INSURANCE APPROVED IT. I will never ever use CVS for anything, myself, my family, my friends, my whole community is going to hear about this and I will make it my personal mission to have her taken out of this position because it is not okay to withhold people medication and treat them badly because you think your some sort of god. I will be speaking to corporate, and anybody else above her that can this women a reality check because she needs one! DONT NOT USE THIS CVS OR ANY CVS FOR ANY PRESCRIPTIONS OR SHOPPING!!!

From the beginning, she felt they were very prejudicial about it, even saying "the insurance needed preauthorization" for a medication she had been taking for over a dozen years. When she called to ask what the issue was, they ran it again and it was just fine. Today, they called to say they couldn't fill the medication because the prescriber wasn't in the immediate area and they could only fill those from the immediate area. Mind you, they've filled it several times but they just "couldn't believe it hadn't been flagged before". It's from less than 3 hours away and insurance is perfectly fine-filled perfectly on time. Then it was a "Good luck finding another pharmacy!" This has been a terrible experience for my wife, who had been so happy to have the ease of a hometown pharmacy. I would suggest you avoid this pharmacy if you aren't a local or have a medication they may not agree with (Even if they don't know why you take it or your health history). It often concerns me that pharmacists have the power to make medical decisions that should be between a patient and their physician. I understand abuse of medications happens, but utilizing common sense happens, as well.

I was pleasantly surprised by the high level of customer service I experienced at the CVS pharmacy…read morein Waynesboro. In the past, I received horrible service at other CVS locations. I only returned because CVS prices for my prescriptions are much less expensive than other pharmacies and they're open 7 days a week. To contact the pharmacy, I had to leave a voicemail, which was concerning. I assumed that the pharmacy must be understaffed and overrun with customers. But I received a call-back promptly, and the staff member was very pleasant and helpful. On occasions when I went inside to pick up my prescriptions, the lines moved quickly. I was really touched by how several pharmacy staff members interacted with patients who clearly had emotional and physical challenges. The staff were incredibly kind, respectful and sincere, going above and beyond to treat each person with respect and dignity. Based on my positive customer experience, I plan to transfer all my prescriptions to this CVS.

Worst customer service experience. After not being able to…read morefind my account or my home CVS (claimed there was no store there because he couldn't find it on his system), the manager told me he would call my usual CVS to get a prescription transferred. I waited for 45 minutes for a call back. Finally I called to see what the update was; the manager said he was put on hold for 20 minutes, before essentially giving up because "the store hours aren't posted", (the store hours are posted) When I called my home CVS, I was told "The pharmacy is closed" and the operator hung up, so that made me question if the manager ever called my home CVS in the first place. When I asked why I didn't get a call back, the manager blamed me saying "you never gave a number" which coming from someone who has worked in telemarketing; If you need a callback number you ask. Usually the phone number of the caller comes up onscreen when on call, and you can go into call history if you didn't write it down. In the long run, don't waste your time dealing with this pharmacy, go down the road to the Walmart Pharmacy for better luck

We should have known that we were going to be in for an interesting experience here when we pulled into the parking lot. Local law enforcement just happened to be on the scene. We honestly don't know what was going on in here, but there was a big manager presence at the front of the store near customer service. We walked up to return our items and had a bit of a wait as the confusion of what was going on was starting to subside. Once we were acknowledged that we were there it was still a few minutes before we were assisted. The girl that assisted us was very nice, and a bit funny, even if it were a dry wit she had. We went through the motions of the return and when it came to my dad receiving the funds back she gave my dad three choices. Gift card, back on the debit card, or cash. Cash was the option as we all know that it can take a few days for it to return to your account. Throughout the transaction we got to witness a funny exchange between the employees. While all the hubbub was going on with law enforcement an associate came to the counter asking for the cart key. One of the many managers that was dealing with the hubbub was informed by the girl helping us of the need. The manager looked a bit frantic while searching the counter for the said cart key. Exasperated, the manager asked where the cart key would be. The girl, with as much unenthusiastic sarcasm simply replied with, "It's hanging on a hook that says 'cart key'." I think there was a roll of the eyes in there too. I'm not sure. I kind of chuckled to myself until we walked away so I could laugh. I think this is a prime example of how competent some managers are in any given setting.

This seems like a chronic problem there - I suspect this market, or Weis in general, is losing profits. Since no manager was on duty and the customer service desk was closed (at 6:30 p.m. on a week night!) I only got a half hearted explanation. In other words, no one knows why items are out of stock. As others have noted it's very depressing to see everyone checking out their groceries. I leave feeling depressed and angry. Customers are the last thing on their mind; profits clearly are most important.

Sunday 11/27/22 1040 am. Such a sad day in society where there are 14 cash registers in the store…read morewith employees, walking around everywhere and loading shelving up and standing in the front, watching people self check out. Of the 14 cash registers only three are set up for employees to run groceries through like a normal grocery store, where they do the scanning and bagging. There was not a single employee working the cash registers. Of the 14 cash registers eight were being used by customers, scanning and bagging their own stuff at the time that I went through the line for a check out. Of the eight people scanning and bagging their own stuff half of them had large carts completely full of groceries, and they were doing all the work themselves as the employees were just standing around chatting at the front. I can't imagine the amount of jobs that were lost due to them doing it this way. It is not like they have a Covid issue anymore because that has been over for a year. As far as stocking of items in the store, they are usually better than the other local store (Martins) close to here and I think that is due to the fact that the other store just gets more customers. If I need to get something quick, I will come here. But I do my regular grocery shopping at the competitor. The service there and quality of the fruits and vegetables at the other store is considerably better than the fruits and vegetables from here. Also, the selection at the competitor store is significantly larger. The only reason why the store got a three rating was because of the cash register area. Otherwise I would've given it a four-star.
