I cannot understand why CVS has not changed the ridiculous automated system they have although it probably pertains to all CVS Drug Stores not just Haverhill, MA locations. It is the stupidest automative system to date for ordering prescriptions. You call the correct number, follow the prompts for pharmacy and it tells you what prescriptions are available for refill but no automated response on how to ask for a refill even if you say "refill it" repeatedly. I am so frustrated with CVS Pharmacy's automative ordering system. Whomever put this system together needs to go back to the drawing board because they have failed miserably! This cvs has been good to me up until right now with a new hire that made me cry. Like seriously read the room dude. When I got up to the window, I stated I just wanted a certain prescription and here's my name and last name, he proceeded to ask my name again and I repeated my name again, then he asked AGAIN for my last name, I said it again and then he said "okay you have two prescriptions." I repeated myself again saying I only wanted one certain prescription and not the other. He then said "you don't want the other prescription at all??" I said "no I cannot afford the other prescription right now, can I please just have the prescription I asked for?" He then came back WITH BOTH prescriptions and said "it's only 7 dollars are sure you don't want it?" That right there is why I am balling my eyes out in my truck right now. Of course I want the medication but I can't afford it right now and the fact I had to repeat it multiple times that I couldn't afford it made me so embarrassed. If a customer says 'I can't afford it' in the future, then read the freaking room. Edit: Got home and meds were completely wrong. Had to go back to get my correct dosage that I've been taking for years. read more

The pharmacy team are very ignorant and very careless. After taking the covid-19 vaccine, they registered the vaccine record that my right arm was taken, instead of my left arm. One of the young pharmacy guys who gave me a vaccine needs to pay attention to which arm that is vaccinated in order to put on the vaccine records of patients. The young guy with the colored hair and glasses is lazy and he did not want to assist me and he did not know how to ask someone a question to solve the problem to make a correction that my covid-19 vaccine was taken at my left arm, instead of my right arm. I called the pharmacy and one of the pharmacy workers, possibly the pharmacy manager, returned my phone call and he told me that he added a comment on my vaccine record about my left arm was vaccinated, because he was unable to change from right arm to left arm. I never saw the additional comment, as he told me and he was denying, that he wrote on my vaccine record from right arm to left arm that I do not believe until I called the other CVS location and they were able to make the correction from right arm to left arm on my vaccine record. I am still very upset and very disappointed with the pharmacy team at Main Street in Haverhill, MA! I will never go to that pharmacy location for prescriptions, nor any vaccines. Tried order pick up and had an awful experience. Because 1 item was not available I couldn't get the extra bucks rewards. I said I would like to return and Ashley the "supervisor" said I couldn't return because of coupons. I said I can return items for whatever reason as long as not used. She says "I know our policies more than you". " You cannot" After back and forth I said I will just take the order and I will decide what to return. She refused to give me my prepaid ordered. Omg !!! Have to agree about the staff here. I refer to clerical and techs. No idea what customer service means. I had 1 prescription called in for 5 pills. Was told it was ready for pickup and when I got there they said it would be another half hour. When I questioned a clerk a tech responded that they have other customers. This is the CVS store to go to if you want to get a sale item. Don't bother with Plaistow because they never have the stuff that's on sale and you'll end up here or at another CVS anyway. The help is friendly at this location. I've been to the pharmacy to pick up scripts for an elderly neighbor and they were better than other places I've been. I brought in 4 brand new scripts on a Sunday 1-1/2 hours before closing with good results. I wouldn't usually do that but the neighbor had just gotten out of the hospital and needed this stuff pronto so no avoiding it. The tech plugged everything in, which did take some time, but she had the robot (who knew) start filling most of the stuff. I told her I'd come back after making one other quick stop and she told me that if I stuck around they'd have it done within 10 minutes. Best part: they did. This CVS is in a sketchy part of Main St so the worst experience I had here was a wacko in the parking lot. Guess CVS can't be blamed for that, just be careful of the creepos. read more

I've had a couple issues with CVS. I reported each to CVS customer service and have not received a response regarding either situation. On March 16th, I bought two bottles of Spoiled by Wet N Wild nail polish. According to the current flyer, all Wet N Wild products not on clearance were buy one / get one 50% off. I did not receive the discount. When I pointed out the sale, the clerk told me that the nail polish wasn't Wet N Wild. When I showed her where it said Wet N Wild right on the bottle, she snapped that it's "something different". Meanwhile, a woman was returning energy bars she'd purchased the day before, because they were rotten. She'd taken a bite out of one and realized that there was something wrong with them, only to find they were expired. The clerk asked her if she'd purchased them from this location. The woman said no. The clerk said she could just exchange them for the same item. I was surprised that the woman accepted this. I would have wanted my money back. The clerk should have also asked which store sold the bad energy bars to prevent others from buying them and potentially getting sick. Also, I am not receiving Extra Care pharmacy rewards as promised. If you fill ten prescriptions, you're supposed to earn $5 in ExtraBucks Rewards. After filling eleven prescriptions, I didn't receive the $5. On December 12th, I filled my twelfth and asked why I wasn't receiving the rewards. I was directed to the one-eight-hundred number. Still no response from CVS. Still no ExtraBucks Rewards. read more

The WORST customer service at CVS pharmacy on Main Street in Haverhill. They give out wrong meds, don't answer the phone, are rude when they do. They leave you on hold for over an hour. I was seen at MedExpress urgent card across the street from CVS 259 Main Street, Haverhill. The doctor sent a prescription electronically to this CVS. When I arrived to pick it up, I was told that there was no prescription on file for me. I told the technician that I'd call MedExpress and be back in a few minutes. Her response was "we are about to close." (I checked the pharmacy hours and they were still open for another 40 minutes) I called MedExpress and spoke directly to the Doctor. He had sent my prescription over 25 minutes prior. I went back to the pharmacy with this information and was told that there was no prescription for me. I called the Doctor again while in the presence of the pharmacy technician and he said "the prescription is there, but it's close to closing time and I'm sure they just don't want to fill it." He resent the prescription and all of a sudden it "appeared" on the screen infront of the pharmacy technician. I sat inside the pharmacy waiting area until my prescription was ready. During this waiting period, I heard the same pharmacy technician mention to other customers that the pharmacy was closing soon. She was ignoring telephone calls to the pharmacy and it was clear that she just wanted to get out of there. The pharmacist was preparing prescriptions and was very polite to me. I was very disappointed at how I was treated by that pharmacy technician. read more

Parking is not an issue. Store is clean and friendly. Pharmacy is busy, but professional and friendly. I'm not particularly happy with the drive-through so I just walk in. As always, call ahead to get your prescriptions refilled and you'll save a lot of time. read more

This has to be the worst CVS I have ever encountered. The pharmacy is a joke and there has never been a time I've been there that almost everyone waiting is in an extremely bad mood. They tell you a time to pick up your prescription it's never ready and not 15 min late an hour or two. We transferred our prescriptions to this CVS as our insurance is CVS Cares and we get a discount. At first they seemed fine, however, lately the place is one big mess. There is always a line and the people who work the counters are very abrupt and rushed. I always feel like I am an inconvenience, and that they are doing me a favor by filling my prescription. It should not be this way....Today was the last straw, the woman inside at the drop off was exceptionally rude and condescending, all because I am not schooled in their pharmacy drop off procedure....Just plain unhappy, unfriendly rude woman.. If you don't like your job or can't handle the pace, go elsewhere.. As for me I have gone elsewere, I grabbed my preserciption and returned to Rite-Aide in Bradford. Rude and inconsiderate pharmacy staff. I will never go there again. I went in tonight at 9:40 to fill a prescription. There was one older male Pharmacist and one female Pharmacy Technician on duty. I was waited on by the female technician. She took my prescription, looked at it and states "you know we can't fill this tonight; we close in 15 minutes." I asked her for my prescription back and left very unhappy. First of all, there was 20 minutes left; not 15. There was ONE OTHER CUSTOMER waiting; ONE. 20 minutes isn't enough time to fill a single prescription?! Really!? So, I drove across the street to Walgreens, and found they had changed their hours and the pharmacy closed at 9. I then then drove 6 miles through the city to the 425 Lowell Street 24 hour CVS Pharmacy. They processed my order and I had the prescription in my hand at 10:02..... YET, THERE WASN'T ENOUGH TIME FOR THE RUDE AND APPARENTLY LAZY STAFF AT THE 259 MAIN STREET TO FILL IT BEORE 10:00?! How is that possible. They obviously care more about "quitting time" than customers. As a result, although I really do love the staff at the Lowell St. CVS, I feel that CVS as a company does not appreciate my business. I'm transferring all my prescriptions to another more appreciative unaffiliated pharmacy as they come up for renewal. For anyone who works in the food and beverage industry and gets out late but still needs to stop and grab a few things like toilet paper, shampoo, cat food, ect.... I highly reccomend skipping over this CVS. Andrea Tangree is a night manager and although she works a late night shift will follow you around like you are a thief if you go in to late. I have experienced her rude snide remarks and her rude attitude as she has followed my friends and I around the store and we frequently spend alot of $ there. Bartending you tend to get out late yet have cash in your pocket so spend more then you plan. Andrea is the most unwelcoming insulting excuse of a manager I have ever met. It is truely to bad for the other girls kaitlyn and I believe it is brittany who are extremely great managers and wonderful with the public.
