The clerk was very rude and did not offer any empathy. I went to pick up medication for my husband, who had just literally come out of surgery. I tried calling the CVS location twice on my way to the store to see if the prescription was ready. I was on hold for 6 minutes the first time and for 2 minutes the second time. I hung up the second time as I was almost to the store. When I went to the counter, first, I was the only customer at the counter and no one bothered to come to the counter to greet me. It took several tries to get the attention of one of the staff members. Next, when the clerk came to the counter, I explained that I had tried calling the store but no one was picking up the phone. Instead of saying something like, "Oh, I'm sorry to hear about that," the clerk said in a condescending tone, "Oh, well, you must have dialed the wrong number." I felt very offended at that point but my husband was waiting in the car in excruciating pain so I asked the clerk to just please give me the medication. The clerk said that I needed my ID, which in my panic in thinking about my husband, I had left in the car. After getting my ID and checking on my husband, I checked the CVS number that I called and I confirmed that it was the same number for the location that I was at. When I returned to the counter, I asked the clerk what the phone number was for the store. He could not recall the number off the top of his head and he had to check what it was. When he told me the number I showed him my phone with the same phone number that he mentioned. The clerk then said, "I don't know, we've been answering calls." Again, no empathy for the customer. This clerk needs a serious coaching in customer service skills and needs to learn that instead of being hostile and defensive to the customer they need to demonstrate empathy and understanding. read more

The absolute WORST!!! Never go there. They don't answer the phones, they take literally 45 minutes at the drive up to pick up medication with only 1 car ahead. The management must be utter shit!!! Even worse, you call and nobody EVER answers the phones. Held on the line twice for almost 1 hour. Never in my 44 years of life have I ever ever ever been to such a horribly run store. Worst CVS pharmacy in town. Prescriptions are never ready even if you get a text that they are. I've heard them tell 3 people in a row that 'they were just working on it' when they go to pick up prescriptions. I've held for up to 40 minutes when calling. I've waited in the store for up to an hour despite calling in refills 3 days in advance. I've had to go back the following day for auto-fill Rx's even when I've managed to talk to someone and they said they were ready. How is this pharmacy SO bad?? Pharmacy needs a major overhaul. If you are even remotely considering this place, save yourself some time and brain damage and go to another CVS or Smiths. read more

I work at a memory care community down the street and we needed hand sanitizer and luckily they keep the ingredients behind the counter with limited quantities per person. Ableist. Apathetic. Incompetent. Unreliable. This CVS used to be great. I've been going there for at least 5 years, but they've really gone downhill this last year or so. I have Type 1 Narcolepsy (Narcolepsy with Cataplexy) that I take medicine for. I've been on this same medicine for maybe a year and a half, and it took a while to build up enough in my system to help me to the level it does now. Before I was diagnosed and put on this medicine, I spent 7+ years barely scraping by, unable to work and shower on the same day, wondering what was wrong with me, and not having enough energy to think or feel or be myself. Obviously, I'm terrified of losing the progress I've been able to make. I don't want to do anything that could interfere with or interrupt my treatment. But in maybe March or April, I started having repeated problems getting my narcolepsy medicine filled on time. First, it was the diagnosis code problem. Every month for about 4-5 months, they would tell me they couldn't fill my prescription because it was missing the diagnosis code. And because I trusted them to have it filled on time, I had run out by the time they told me, and my doctor's office was closed. So, I'd have to wait until Monday to call my doctor and take the backup pills I was lucky enough to have left over from when my doctor had given me samples a long time ago. So, on Monday, I'd call my doctor and my doctor would call CVS and tell them the diagnosis code and CVS would fill it. But the next month, the exact same thing would happen. Suddenly, they didn't have the diagnosis code. Suddenly there was no record of them talking to my doctor. Every month. This happened about 4-5 times before I'd had it. Finally, I called CVS to see why this wasn't fixed yet, why I kept having the exact same problem every month. I could tell they were just trying to get me off the phone. First, they blamed my doctor. When that excuse didn't work, they told me they "didn't have time to check on every prescription for every patient". After going in circles, I had to hang up because I started to cry. But it was important and time sensitive, so my mom called them back for me because I can't talk when I'm crying. They tried to give her the run around too. They acted like I was being so unreasonable because I "couldn't go without [my narcolepsy medicine] for even one day" because they couldn't be bothered to keep track of the diagnosis code they were given multiple times. This is an incredibly ableist thing to say. This tells me they don't take my medical condition seriously. This tells me they don't care. And why should I pay the price for their incompetence by having to miss days of my medicine? After she finally actually looked into the diagnosis code, she realized that wow they had called my doctor like I said, and they had gotten the diagnosis code like I said. Every month. And during that time, no one, including the manager, could have been bothered to write it in my chart so I could get it filled on time the next month. This could have been solved so easily so many times, but no one did anything until it became a problem for them personally. Finally, they put the diagnosis code in my chart, and I hoped I wouldn't have any more issues. But now there's a new problem. For the past 2-3 months, they haven't had the same prescription I get every month in stock, and I have to wait for them to order it, have it delivered, and fill it. Since I obviously can't trust them to order it early enough to have it available when it's time for a refill, I've been calling them early to make sure they order it so it can be filled on time. And that worked until this time (though I shouldn't have to do that at all). I called them on Monday to make sure they'd have it in stock when I ran out this weekend. They said it'd be ready for pickup on Wednesday. It wasn't. I called them on Thursday, and they said it'd be ready on Friday. It wasn't. I called them today (Saturday). They said they received the order but it was still in the box, so it won't be ready until tonight or tomorrow because they have a lot. I took my last pill today. I already took all my backups in the other months they didn't fill it on time. What are the chances it'll actually be ready on time now that I have no safety? Honestly, it feels like I'm doing their job for them. And it's so much more difficult than it should be. This is unacceptable. I rely on this medicine. I can't have them risking the efficiency of my narcolepsy treatment every month because they have too many prescriptions to care about any individual person. If you're looking for a pharmacy that will fill your prescriptions reliably and on time so you don't have to miss days, pick a different one. If you want a pharmacy that'll try to solve the problems they create instead of throwing the blame and shooing you away, pick a different one. If you want a good pharmacy, pick a different one. read more

Was leaving to go to thanksgiving with fsniky . I needed my prescription filled I gave them a week to fill it . The technician said sure it will be filled tomorrow, but tonrriit was not filled then he said no they were out of it and said they couldn't send it to another cvs to fill so fr aporocal . I rushed rushed frantically to get my doc to approve at other cvs they said tgey had it snd would save it for me but that never happened . Do I decided not to use the cvs bs sysoehich it was hard on me without my meds it screwed up my meds and my health needs were not net properly. What tge f! CVS is known as a great Pharmaceutical chain that also offers everyday grocery items. This store located off the 215 and Valley Verede is a great addition to this wonderful chain. So I go to my CVS on Valle Verde and 215 to pick up an item I got a coupon for in my email. A bargain right? Wrong! Not only does CVS NOT carry the item but after some phone calls to other CVS stores, none of them do!!! So I ask the clerk how is it that I would get a coupon and yet the store doesn't even carry the item? So can we substitute I ask? No. Well how does CVS what to handle this situation and give good customer service? I am a longtime shopper at CVS but have gone to a different location for years, choosing this location yesterday was only based on the fact that it was on my way home from work. I had gotten to the register with a 30% off my whole transaction coupon along with a couple of coupons on my phone. Right as I finished paying, I realized I forgot to add one of the coupons to my card, though I had already purchased 3 of the items specifically because of the coupon. My cashier was a man and was VERY helpful, he was trying his best to figure out how to fix what I asked. I just wanted to apply the coupon I forgot to add to my card. My cashier asked the other cashier, a young blonde woman with glasses, and her headphones draped around her neck, for help. She asked what needed to be done and I explained and she said that the items would have to be refunded and my cashier would then have to re-ring the items with the coupon. I asked if the 30% off coupon would still be applied as it was on the original transaction, on top of the coupon I sent to my card. She lifted up the paper 30% off coupon and said "you're asking if you would get the coupon back after using it? It says off of ONE transaction. So no, you won't get it back if you get your money refunded." And then proceeded to toss the paper in front of me. My cashier then grabbed the coupon back and said to her "she already used this... that's not what she meant." And I explained, once again, that I was not asking for my coupon BACK, but since I already received the 30% off of the items in the first place, if there was a way to apply that same 30% on top of the coupon if the only way to apply the new coupon is to refund the items. She then said "nope, there is no way to do that." She never looked me in the eye, didn't seem to care to listen or understand what I was saying and was very, very short with me. I have worked retail for 9 years. I had just gotten off of a long shift where I was also working and doing my very best to please and be NICE and sweet to my customers. I go above and beyond to put on a happy face, even if I'm having a bad day, and trust me, I know how hard it is to do that! But man, was it heartbreaking to then go into another retail establishment and be treated so rudely! I hope that young woman begins to understand that she's not going to get far if she continues to treat others like that. Pharmacy is understaffed! Employees are apologetic and courteous. On many occasions it has taken 5-7 days to get prescription filled. They never answer the phone, on two occasions I have waited 1 hour for someone to answer, then I have given up. Although the staff is overwhelmed and understaffed, they are never rude. CVS does not care about customer service as they claim. CVS ONLY CARES ABOUT THE PROFIT LINE! Not the customer line! We are currently looking for a different pharmacy. We have shopped there for approximately 2 years and is getting progressively worse. Complaining to corporate has yielded no results. read more

The pharmacy here is very slow going. I stood in the prescription drop off area, for several minutes, with two people near by filling prescriptions, and they didn't even glance over one time. Had to go wait in line at the checkout area, and asked how long it would take to filled. He told me 20 minutes, then changed his mind and said an hour. This is what I've come to expect almost every time, the employees aren't paying attention to customers waiting to be helped. This is where our insurance carrier has us go, and we have tried other locations, and they're all the same. Walgreens was always much more efficient in their pharmacy. read more

This has been my CVS for the 9 years I have lived in Vegas. I used to love them. The pharmacy has gone downhill quick. I'm going to transfer to Walgreens. I've had two prescriptions set for auto fill and they are never ready on time. Set to auto refill on the 12th of August and it's the 17th and it's not ready. I've been coming to this pharmacy for years. About three or two months ago, I've noticed new faces. The wait times are ridiculous. When you call the pharmacy they don't pickup. When you go in person there are about 5 cars in the drive thru, step inside & same thing, ppl in line waiting. I always walk-in & wait about 45 minutes to get acknowledged & they never have my medications ready at the time they say it'll be ready. I've seen ppl cry because of their pain & them waiting on their medication. It's horrible. The Main Pharmacist is the worst. She questioned my medication & the dosage as if my doctor doesn't know how to do her job. Then she gave me a call & said that she's not filling my prescription. Only because she didn't want to. It's the weekend & now I gotta wait for Monday so my doctor can send my prescription elsewhere. I'd suggest you'd go to a different pharmacy. This Cvs is the worst. This was by far the worst pharmacy I've ever been to. The staff were not to blame. I wonder if management is more concerned about profit then actually hiring enough people. I dropped of a prescription at 345pm today. It took 30 minutes just to drop if off, they told us it would take 30 minutes. We came back an hour later, and my wife went inside and I went through the drive thru to see what would be faster. They only had one pharmacy tech working and 1 pharmacist working. The tech was working both registers inside and the drive through. The pharmacist was trying to help out but kept getting pulled away to give flu shots. Then after waiting for 30 minutes the second time, they told us the prescription still wasn't ready. This is the second time we have experienced this at this location. Those people working need help. Their manager really must not see what's going on or just doesn't want to fork out the money for additional help. after 130 minutes of waiting and two separate trips there, using both the drive through and the line in side we finally got out medications. If you have to go to CVS like we are forced to by our insurance company, you may want to choose a different location. I tried every phone number I could remember to get the discount and it wouldn't come up. DESCRIMATATORY! Beware! Pharmacist HATES anyone on controlled substances. My doc wrote and CALLED so I could get my ER pain med on same day as other med. SO I wouldn't have to drive 2X. Pharmacist PUNISHED me for wanting to be safe! Because Doc and I asked, SHE REFUSED TO FILL RX that was DUE THAT DAY! NAZI! I even had my doc write the RX for 25 days so pharmacist would KNOW I was not abusing. CRUEL! I truly hope pharmacist GETS CHRONIC PAIN and NO ONE fills her RX ever! She gave a BS reason for delaying med due. ( respiratory depression for a medication I've been on over 14 YEARS! TREATED ME LIKE A CRIMINAL! I switched ALL my meds to WALGREENS and called CVS CORPORATE OFFICE and made a complaint. What a terrible cruel person! I've been with same pain doc for 11 years. Same meds for 9. Paid CVS $10,000s over past 15 years! I have NEVER been treated so horribly by a pharmacist ! This woman is a REAL b ...dh ! I pray God will give her chronic pain and when she has a surgery to fix the pain, like I had hip replacement surgery in 2016, I HOPE IT FAILS! I've been coming here for years and they are always so knowledgeable, so personable and nice, they take care of business so quick and they are sure to update me on any changes on my prescriptions and are looking out for my best interest. I don't know everyone's name otherwise would shout out to all, especially Link! He spent weeks trying to get ahold of my doctor and insurance companies for me to authorize a medication and also requested a generic version of one of my other meds just so I don't have to pay such an expensive copay on my current one. My friend took his prescriptions that he got from the emergency room to this cvs. He had had an upper respiratory infection and horrible cough for ten days. He got there just when they were about to close. One of the prescriptions was for a cough syrup with codeine. The other was for Tessilon pearls. The manager of the pharmacy told him they had to be verified and would be ready the next day. He's been sick so he slept most of the day and went to pick them up around five pm. The man told him the manager couldn't get a hold of the doctor and only the Tessilon pearls were ready. So, he left and I called there and I was told she wasn't trying to get a hold of the doctor to verify anything. She wanted him to change the prescription because of the codeine. So, I told him my friend would be back to pick up that prescription. This is my friends regular pharmacy. They know him there. The pharmacist lied to him and had him running back and forth for two days when he was sick because she didn't want to fill the prescription as it was. She should have told him that in the first place instead of lying and given him the choice to fill it somewhere else if she didn't want to fill it. Instead she gave him the run around for two days when he was sick. She is not a physician it is not up to her to decide what prescription the doctor should prescribe. Her job is to fill prescriptions. If she didn't want to fill it she should have told him that in the first place. Very unethical. He took it to Walgreens and they filled it with no problem. It did not need to be verified. I know there is an opioid crisis but some of these people are taking it too far. Sometimes people need these medications and the doctor knew it's the only thing that works on his cough. That's why he prescribed it. She let a sick man suffer for two days. Very unethical manger at that pharmacy. Sad. read more

Stay away from CVS on 2662 W Horizon Ridge Parkway. The new Pharmacy Manager is making up her own rules and I called the Corporate office to verify and this Pharmacy Manager is not going by Corp rules and regulations. read more

By far the best CVS pharmacy I've been to. Always attentive, they follow up, and the pharmacist is easy to speak with. When one of my medications was not showing as accepted by insurance, the pharmacy technician followed up, got to the bottom of it, and had me come in the next day for a refund because he figured out why it wasn't going through and had overcharged me. I went in at 8 am this morning, they said my prescription would only take an hour. I call at 9, still not ready. I come in at 1:30 pm , STILL NOT READY. They said "we are still filling prescriptions from yesterday". Called at 3:30 and they said they would have them if I come in now. So I went down to this CVS and the lady I talked to on the phone not even 10 minutes prior looked at me like she had no idea was I was talking about! It then turned 4pm and my prescription was still not ready!! They clearly do not understand how crucial prescriptions are!! Skip this place. Much quicker CVS pharmacies around the valley. read more
