I wasn't aware a pharmacist was allowed to cancel federally regulated prescriptions at the request of 1 provider that completely separate from the provider who submitted the prescription, and that is outside of their own network/practice?! Seems like a HUGE misstep to me.

Drive-thru lane takes forever and it's almost impossible to reach them via phone unless you can hold for a minimum of 20 min only for them to tell you that they'll work on your prescription when they can. You would think they would have a system to keep meds that are filled monthly for years in stock... I miss the good old days when they would start filling my meds as soon as I leave my Dr's office so I can pick them up on my way home (pharmacist & staff used to be so much nicer too)! The pharmacist at this location…read more(can never see her name tag, but she is not the tech - she is the pharmacist) is unbearably rude. She should not be in a patient facing position anywhere. I actually moved my prescriptions from this location entirely because of her. Unfortunately I had an urgent need for a prescription and my good pharmacy wasn't open. I went in with low expectations to pick up, and she even dropped below those. She has nasty and dirty pointed fingernails that she angrily clicks her iPad with and barely speaks. She is hostile and frankly a jerk. As I type this I'm sitting on hold (for more than 15 min) to let CVS know that this woman is a bit#h. I'm sure they don't care, but nobody deserves to be treated the way this nasty woman treats people - especially in healthcare! To try and call for an update, that should be automated, one needs to plan on wasting at least 30-1 hour during which time they pick up phone and place you back on hold multiple times. The personnel turn over like they're teenagers, and many are rude. It's really unbelievable that this location can continue to operate this way. I so wish UHC didn't use them as their preferred provider for same day pick up.
