I was not comfortable paying $2.11 a gallon of gas while I saw $1.75 on the way to town in SW Chinatown. But I managed to convince myself to get enough until I earn more points toward gas later this month. I am happy with my visit since I didn't have to deal with any human at Corner Store 2347 and I had no issues with the gas pumps. The lot was fairly clean on a sunny Saturday afternoon. We were big fans of the gas station and I was going to give it four or five stars until recently, when a rather heavyset cashier got extremely rude about us using the bathroom. In fact she was so abrasive and insulting and confrontational that I would have given one star based on her. It averages out to 3 but they really need to have a word with her.

When I got to the front, she was unpleasant and unapologetic. Asked me why I was here said OK it's gonna be filled in a few months working on it and then she walked away no explanation for why it had never been filled nor why she never came back to the phone. Immediately upon leaving the eye doctor, I received a message from Walgreens that my prescription was ready. I called them to ask if it would be covered by insurance because that didn't align with what my doctor had just told me. The pharmacist on the phone was incredibly rude, saying things like, "Why is taking your doctor so long?" I asked if they would notify me when the insurance went through and he said, "Why would we notify you?" When I asked, "So it's just a guessing game then?" he said, "Well, that's your problem." He was so rude and disgusting and had no idea what was going on.

Thanks to Mike B for grabbing the first to review on the listing I created last month with his low-key racist review. I love the human race and I'm never, ever, ever sarcy. There's honestly no reason in the world to give this gas station a bad rating. It's an excellent corner store - not convenience wise but gas wise - and I like it a lot. A little run down and basic, but it gets the job done (like your mother). It has never given me any problems even though it's a little bit run-down (same with your sister) and there aren't many pumps (unlike your sister who has had a lot of pumps), it's usually available late at night (like your mother) and it's often cheaper than the other ones in the area. Yes, the convenience store part of it is a little overpriced and selection is extremely limited, but nevertheless we're all glad that it's in our neighborhood. And besides - the sexiest girl in the world comes gas here sometimes.
