There's an awesome lady that work in the back at the pharmacy. She a pharmacy technician. She literally helps customers out with the price on their prescription with a discount code. This Walgreens is always under staffed. The customer service is okay almost nonexistent. The shelves are always empty. I use to think they were going out of business because of the lack of products till I realized that's just how this location is. read more

Not to be confused with Whalegreens, which is an ocean pharmacy for large beautiful peaceful creatures that are often murdered by this one really evil, awful species. Or is that the pharmacy which sells pills that make you gain weight and processed shelf-stable snacks which, also, make you gain weight? Oh no, that's actually Walgreens. This is a perfectly adequate Walgreens in a very fancy area, which means it doesn't feel like you're being constantly suspected of everything under the sun, which is a nice break from some of the other locations we go to. It's chill and relaxed and it's often quiet. We've usually found what we wanted in here. We will probably be back here cat on a regular basis. I tried to fill my baby's RX formula and they first told me insurances don't usually cover. I asked if they had ran the insurance already to confirm this information and they said no. I request for them to run it, and they replied by saying "my pharmacist said they don't usually do it, so I doubt it". I insisted and they saw that my insurance did cover. They went ahead and "ordered it". Then they called me back that they could not fill it because it was available OTC. To try else where, to check the website, Amazon and Walmart do. I went to CVS, and they supplied it with no issues. (Highly recommend the CVS on San Felipe in the target) read more

Stopped by the pharmacy here on memorial day weekend. Came in from out of town for a few days and realized that I forgot to pack my meds. I spoke to Kendall the pharmacy technician there who assisted me and advised me that my insurance may not cover the meds in this particular case but she would put the order in and I might have to pay out of pocket. I was actually fine with that because to me, I would prefer to have my prescriptions available to me than go 4 days without them and possibly feel the effects of not taking my meds. Overall I was very satisfied with my visit to this Walgreens. Thank you Kendall for helping an old guy out. read more

I went to Walgreens the pharmacist was so rude and nasty her name is Jill Odia she gave me such a hard time then had the nerve to tell me my doctor wasn't real then called my doctor and told them I can't fill my prescription there anymore and I'm like what did I do for her to be so rude to me she was so loud In front the other customers she said what my meds were and how I was taking it. I was so embarrassed. I contacted the board of pharmacist because what she did was wrong , I still don't have my meds and I can get really sick without them. Whenever I go there she gives me a hard time for no reason. She has no profession skills at all she thinks she can treat people like they are Beneath her and I also have her on video I recorded the whole thing!!! I don't understand why they ask you to make an appointment for flu and covid shots. They never see you at your appointed time. I scheduled my appointment and filled out the form online to save some time. I got there at 2pm, which was 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment, and I waited patiently for my shots. 30 minutes later, I asked the vaccine check in lady was there any problem with my vaccines. She said it would be only 2 - 3 minutes, after another 15 minutes later still nothing. I told her I had to get back to work since I was on my lunch break. I thought the whole ordeal was rude and a waste of my lunch time. Never coming back to this Walgreens. read more

I went in on 02/13 around 1pm to have a prescription filled. I believe Troy assisted me and he was so polite and friendly. He told me if I waited it would only be about 25 minutes so I agreed to hang out. While I was sitting down, I noticed the pharmacist came out to assist a patient with his blood pressure. She was then stopped by another person in the waiting area and was asked if she could check her blood pressure as well. The pharmacist was just as polite and friendly while assisting both customers. On her way back behind the counter, she stopped and asked me if I was waiting on a prescription to be filled and asked for my last name. My order was ready within 5 minutes! Great staff. You guys got me in and out less than the quoted 25 minutes and went over and beyond to provide great customer service. read more

Frank is the MAN! Called to put some Jean leggings I have been searching forever for on hold, he checked to make sure they had them, let me know what sizes, and put 2 on hold of my desire ! I came in on the way out of town, scooped them up, hassle free, paid and was out! Thank you thank you thank you FRANK ! For making my life easy !!! We need more people like you who care ! I've given this Walgreens pharmacy many attempts, given it is the closest to my house. However, time and time again, the line is 4-5+ people long, it seems like every person needs a consult (I've also noticed a lot of older folks here, maybe because of the proximity to River Oaks), and it just always feels like it takes FOREVER. I'll be using another pharmacy in the future, even if out of my way. It'll surely take less time than waiting here. (I also wrote this entire review while waiting in line...) read more

Worst Walgreens pharmacy in the world. Every time I go inside to pick a prescription is takes 45 minutes. And it's been called ahead and ready for pick up. Then I have to argue with them because they always say my coupon is expired. My coupon is never expired and they always say... oh it was input wrong in the computer... EVERY TIME!! The gross incompetence of the individuals who work here is completely baffling. If it's not the coupon it's the insurance. They don't understand how to read insurance. I feel like if you deal with insurance everyday you should know how to read insurance information. They are ridiculous. read more

This walgreens is really nice. I had high hopes of going to this convenient location. However, the rude Asian pharmacist that worked tonight ruined my experience there for good. I'd rather drive a minute or two down to CVS to pick up my meds than deal with a complete B. First, they told me one of my three meds weren't in stock over the phone. That was okay - I went to a different pharmacy for that one. I came and they rung the supposed 'out of stock' medication up. No courtesy call to tell me they ended up having it in stock. I had to stop the pharmacist and ask her if that's the one they said was out of stock. She rudely responded by complaining that the pharmacist on duty before her wasn't competent enough to check the shelves. Thumbs up for being thorough, but why be so curt? I also asked her to ring up a soda that I had in my hand. She yelled out loudly to go to the front and pay for it because there was one person waiting behind me. Um. Excuse me? You're ringing up my meds. How hard is it to ring up my drink? I used to work in the pharmacy at walgreens. It's okay to ring up a few items. Anyway, the customer service experience in the pharmacy sucks. The other staff aren't so bad. 1 star - never going there again. read more

I would highly recommend coming here for international vaccinations, as even if they do not have a vaccine in stock, they can usually order it and have it within 24 hrs. Plus, the pharmacy staff is amazing. I also want to give a huge shoutout to the pharmacist, David, who gave me all of my shots for my trip to Japan. Jill in the pharmacy took the time to help with one of our patients who had no prescription insurance. She offered a couple of programs that might help cut the cost of their medicine including the Walgreens discount savings club. Ultimately her suggestions worked and we were able to save the patient a couple hundred dollars. The time she took was so appreciated by our office and the patient. The definition of good customer service is treating your customers how you would like to be treated and she definitely did that for us. Thank you! read more
