The situation keeps getting worse, i called to try to refill my medication and i their new system ruined my experience even more i can't refill my medication due to me not being able to press to put in the RX number to get my refills done. I had to go up to the pharmacy to get my meds refilled because of that new system saying i don't have any refills which made no sense. I'm very annoyed and frustrated about it. Then the lines are ridiculously line, and they refuse to open a 5th line to make the experience very difficult due to them being so long and the cashers be rude at times and not wanting to help at all. just uncomfortable. i strongly dislike that this is the only major pharmacy in the area which is awful. read more

This has to be the worst cvs around the queens area. Long lines at the pharmacy, people prescription are never ready. Very Long wait in this pharmacy pick up lines.I don't recomend this place as a go to pharmacy. You have different staff members there when ever you go. read more

As a lifelong resident of Jamaica, Queens, watching this CVS and the gentrified building above it sprout from absolutely nowhere was in short- interesting. This is an ideal location for centralized pharmacy services and convenience for a long-waiting Hillside Avenue, however I have had concerns with some staff members on multiple occasions. The pharmacists and pharmacy technicians are immature and have attitude with customers asking very basic questions, which is a major hazard for psychiatric patients coming to pick up medication. There are unqualified people working in the pharmacy which WILL LEAD TO A MAJOR LAWSUIT as this is directly impacting the chemical balances in human brains and bodies. I REPEAT. There are unqualified people working in the pharmacy which WILL LEAD TO A MAJOR LAWSUIT as this is DIRECTLY MESSING WITH PEOPLE'S BRAINS AND BODIES WHICH WILL LEAD THEM TO GETTING LOCKED UP IN A HOSPITAL. Additionally, the store is not only over-staffed, being filled with mainly employees, but the store is almost always an entire mess with aisles being blocked by lazy unpacking of shipments. In terms of hiring, does not follow the equal employment opportunity for all. I have also found that this store is racist, and I am not sure why there are only South American flags hanging in store, because this feels discriminatory considering there is not a single American flag in this store The flags are not representative of the whole demographic of the neighborhood, especially the South Asian, African, Caribbean and West Indian community that developed Hillside Avenue throughout the last few decades. I come to this location at least 5 times a day only to see that there is only one person who is actually working hard whereas there are 10-15 employees not only working through nepotism in their hiring methods, but avoid customers and actual work. Pricing at this store is outrageously disproportionate and the technology in the store fails on a regular basis. On a basic level, there are two signs for this CVS with different opening and closing times on the schedule, which is a sliver of insight into how much this store has been scamming this entire area. There's a literal teenage kid with glasses working at this store who, when I asked for help finding garbage bags decided to tell me that the reason he can't help me with locating the cheapest garbage bags is because he 'has no hands', which I really found to be unprofessional and nonetheless frustrating because I was looking at him have hands. On top of that absolutely all of the garbage bag options, despite different brands, quantities, shapes and colors, were all priced at $7.49 which makes absolutely no sense. A lot of the staff members have their old and mean aunties come into the store and essentially guard the store as whole families come in and take whatever they want. If this is a store for community members to just come and take items, not sure why I wasn't informed as my family is literally struggling to eat right now, nonetheless afford other basic needs. Also not sure who authorized this CVS to sell alcohol, 'FIREBALL" at the price of $9.99 when there are massive warnings about substance abuse in the store. read more

Came to this location to use my $10Bucks before they were going to expire I went around looking for things that I like as so did my daughter. The original item I wanted was sold out so I knew I needed a rain check. When I was ready we went on line to pay and everything seemed ok I was called next and the first thing that I asked for was a rain check for the item that was sold out. After making a bunch of mistakes on the paper I informed the guy that if I took that it would be invalid they would think I altered the rain check and I would not get the item. (I shop at cvs enough I've been told this by a manager) He did not want to give me another one until the supervisor said to do so to where he huffed and puffed, he did make another on and threw it in my direction. SO RUDE!!!!!!!! Of course I was so upset about the disrespect in front of my family to then have him rush me to make my transaction. I ended up losing my bucks and paying more out of pocket being that thing were rang up incorrectly. Also I was going to make another transaction and after he rang up my first he collected his items and started to walk away. Leaving me standing at the counter to look at him! So now I had to go to self check out and ring up my own items for him to wait until I got over there to return to the register. He just didn't want to ring me up! Now in all of the times that I have shopped at this store I have NEVER! And I mean EVER been treated this way or spoken to in the manner which he chose. All in all I ended up losing $6 from my bucks and had to spend more money on another transaction. I am so disappointed in this locations choice of staffing! HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!!!!!!!! read more

Although this CVS is new, it's a mad house in here. The store itself is pretty organized compared to most CVS locations I've been too & this particular day I came they had a delivery, so crates being all over the place, I won't hold that against them. They do have self checkout which is good, because the lines get quite long. My biggest problem here is the pharmacy. It looks like 10 people working back there, but there's always a long line & quite a few people waiting on the side. The cashiers are nice, just slow. read more

This is the worst CVS. I just went there after work to pick up my prescription. The guy at the register rudely tells me that it's 7 past 6 and he wasn't going to help me. So I'm like ok I'll wait for this girl. Some chick in the back yells to me that they close at 6. I say well I just have to pick up I don't have to pay and they guy says I still have to use my register. Meanwhile, back at the hall of Justice, he's still ABLE to use his register he just wanted to go home. I get it. I wanted to get my meds after work and go home too. What if it was night medication that I needed and don't have anymore of. That is a concern. Very rude. The lines are always long and they never have shit in stock. I wish I lived close to a Rite-Aid or Walgreens. read more

This pharmacy is horrible and super incompetent. They do not pick up the phone, they do not call if they require information. They are useless and have a very rude staff. There are other pharmacies in the neighborhood way better than them who are way more diligent. I just wanted to test them out since they moved from their previous location but never again. I would give zero stars if I could. read more
