This CVS fails again.... tried to go through the drive thru quickly with a 2 year old in my backseat. Paid for it on the app after I was told 3 prescriptions were ready. I have been sitting in the drive through watching the poor person run around looking for it. No updates were given to me during this process. They can't find it. Same thing happened to the car next to me. This is not my first rodeo where something like this has happened. I would leave CVS all together if it wasn't for my insurance. The line for the pharmacy drive through is painfully slow and long. I've tried giving them the benefit of the doubt, but time after time they disappoint me with the slow service. I waited for 40 minutes to pick up my prescription. I was only the third car. When I expressed my frustration upon reaching the window, no explanation or apology was offered. On another occasion, I realized after I got home that they had given me my prescription with NO label. That medicine could have been anything and thankfully I noticed the dangerous error before taking any of the pills. Very disappointed. read more

Continued challenges with ability to do refills (3rd time they were out), very slow and sometimes takes 2 days to fill a prescription, inside or drive through extremely slow due to lack of proper coverage (the last 4 visits there), and 2 calls averaging 20 mins of wait time. I have no idea how this is sustainable and doesn't lose customers. Very disappointed in operations. read more

This is the worst run pharmacy I have ever experienced. If I could give negative stars, I would. They are too short staffed for how busy they are. When you call the pharmacy, be prepared to wait 30 minutes, and, then, to ultimately go to the store to resolve what should be a one minute discussion. Absolutely pathetic on every level. However, I do believe the staff does what I can to keep up; I don't blame the staff of this store. Rather, management, in its infinite wisdom, simply does not staff this store to adequately deal with the load of customers. For example, when I remarked to the pharmacist these concerns, she showed me a list 20 pages long of scripts she had to process in one afternoon, noting that they simply lack the staff to handle all the customers. I have switched as many scripts as I can to Walgreens. CVS management needs to take note before more and more customers are run off! read more

Terrible pharmacy service. Dropped off Rx for pain meds (post oral surgery). Told it would be ready in 30 mins. Drove back 35 mins later and was instructed they needed ANOTHER 10 mins to have it prepared. Will not be returning here, especially when it is for pain management and needs to be filled in a timely manner. Disappointing experience. read more

Pros: Great low prices on generic prescriptions. Much lower than Walgreens. You can call in your refill, or order it online. Drive thru pick-up and drop-off. (This one in particular has 2 full service drive thru lanes.) Quick service at check out. Cons: This location is not a 24-hr pharmacy. read more

On the plus side, their techs who man the drive thru seem nice enough. However, the service is uncaring and frankly, lazy depending on the tech. I had a refill pending, and I called in the a.m. I was told that they couldn't do anything, and I needed to call the MD. I called, and the MD office said to have the pharmacy contact them. I waited all day, and finally called the pharmacy that evening. They had never even attempted to contact the MD office to fill the script. I understand busy- I really do, but they could have phoned me to say that they couldn't get to my request. Now I am out of my medicine. read more

This cbs store is pathetic! I have been calling for 86 minutes and the damn line is still busy. Trying to pick up a script is a damn joke. Long lines are consistent. The pharmacy turnaround times are below average and they are prone to total communication breakdowns every so often, frustrating customers and their prescribing medical professionals. The only thing that saves this from being one star is the decision to be open 24/7. I can't wait for some competition in the neighborhood. read more

Giving this 1 star because you can't give 0. My last 4 prescriptions here were not ready when they were supposed to, and the only explanation is they cut staff. Don't bother calling the pharmacy they don't answer. read more

Great place to wait in line for an hour to get your meds. Make sure to bring something that will occupy ...it's going to be a while.

Prescriptions take hours to fill, even if they say "15 minutes" so you're stuck waiting in the store for hours even if you're sick.

This location of CVS seems to be deteriorating over time. I waited for over 5 min on hold and then was disconnected. I went to the store where I had to again explain that my medication was covered and had them run it again. Manager in front essentially told me they don't get enough hours in the pharmacy and therefore can't keep up. My recommendation is to go somewhere else for help with pharmacy needs. The store, itself, is just like any other CVS/Walgreens/etc. However, the pharmacy is poor. The turnaround time is long, but the service is horrible. The lead pharmacist is rude and unpleasant to deal with. When I dropped off a prescription, she abruptly told me to come back in an hour. I asked if there was any other option for a shorter turnaround time because my wife had just come out of surgery, and she pointed to the line and said "do you see this line?" Then when I came back to pick up the presciption, an older couple came to ask if any flu shots were available. Before they finished asking, the lead pharmacist abruptly interrupted them and said they're out of flu shots and told them to visit other CVS locations. read more

This was by far the WORST customer service I ever received. I wish I can give this CVS 0 stars. The staff here is so rude and unprofessional, ESPECIALLY Gerald! Earlier today, I bought two items at the CVS on Westheimer but couldn't find the coupon that I needed to use. I purchased the things anyways and found the coupon in my car so decided to stop by Spring Green CVS since it's the closest to my home. I go in at the register and asked the cashier (Gerald) if I could return my things and buy it again to use my coupon. His response was SO RUDE and he snapped at me telling me I can't do that. I asked if I could return it and purchase the items at a different CVS and he goes "I don't care what you do, you can't buy these items here". I was on a time crunch and didn't have time to go to another CVS so I asked if I can pick up another items (not the same things I returned) and purchase them and use the coupon and he refused to ring up my things. The minute I walked in, he gave me the ugliest, stank look ever. He was super racist. I asked the other Hispanic lady that worked there to show me the policy where it says I can't purchase the items and use my coupon on them and she couldn't find it on the list of policies for coupons and refund. I insisted if they can show me that the system rejects the coupon and Gerald refused to ring up my things. He said "doesn't matter if the system rejects it or not, I won't ring it up". There is a way to communicate to customers. Even if I wasn't allowed to do that, they absolutely should not have talked to me in that rude, condescending manner. I asked the Hispanic lady if I can come back tomorrow and buy them and she said she knows my face and works here all week and won't let me purchase it. What kind of comment is that? I would never disrespect customers at my job like that. I had a similar experience last time too here and decided to never go there again. This is why I always go the CVS on Westheimer and 99. The employees there are so kind and helpful. NEVER GO TO THIS CVS. Employees here have 0 respect and skills for customers. We need to report their attitude and behavior to corporate. read more

I love this pharmacy! I have never had any issues with them. If there is a long line in the drive thru I usually go in and there is no line. If you drop off a prescription you can usually pick it up within an hour. If you have any questions they are more than willing to help you. I've only been with this location 2 months and I've never had issues like the some of the previous reviews. read more

This rating is for the pharmacy who lost my script. They even sent me a text message saying my prescription was ready. When my wife showed up to pick it up, nobody could find any record of it. There was no "I'm sorry". Very INCOMPETENT. Apparently no manager stepped in to help. Very frustrating. read more

First time I ever had to deal with a rude clerk at the pharmacy department! I admit having written a nasty review about a Jack in the Box for the exact same reason, and now I have to write about this CVS... What's wrong with people these days!? Regardless, I won't remain silent... enough is enough! Last night I went to pick up my medication, and I knew I already have a coupon in the system. I take three medications a day, but I usually pick up only one medication for the fact one of these medications in particular must have a prescription renewed every 30 days, or otherwise, insurance will not cover it. Instead of telling me clearly which medication orders have arrived to their pharmacy, the clerk kept asking me when did that medication arrive even though he would already have such information in their computer screen. He did this just to provoke me into an argument, so because of his behavior, I decided not to take the medication or pay what the clerk is charging me and leave this wretched place. All the other times I went to this particular CVS, I never had to go through any unneeded questions and was able to purchase whatever medication has arrived to this pharmacy without any issues... but now, not anymore. I hope the worst for whoever that scoundrel was. Either I get an apology call/letter, or I won't buy any more medications from particular pharmacy, and instead just buy my medications from our last known good pharmacy that my friends and family would think of. People that are that rude and unreasonable can't logically be human beings, so I refuse to believe these guys are human and instead acknowledge the fact that they're primitive enough to a point I could perhaps consider them a primate or a reptile, and just admit that type of "people" are not people and are perhaps an invention from the Devil himself just to mess up with our minds. I would not give in to their deception! I will not recommend this CVS as your pharmacy. The cashiers you will have to go through just for birthday cards or snacks would treat you way better than the clerks in the pharmacy department, so have your doctors send your medications elsewhere, not on this particular CVS. I can tell, because I didn't just go for the medicine, but for a snack as well. If 0 stars was possible, I would definitely give such a rating, because they're nothing to me anymore. read more

Shambolic. Disorganised. Unprofessional. Chaotic..... and that's on a good day. I should have learned my lesson when they gave my two year old two different types of anti biotic at the same time and when I questioned this they said this was "ok and normal". Turned out the doctor had "forgotten" to cancel the first one but it would be reassuring to have the safety net of a pharmacist on the ball. It took them over 20 minutes to get my prescription sorted today despite it being a long standing one for one of her 4 prescriptions she gets every month for the last 5 years because first up they didn't run the insurance correctly then they couldn't print the new label. Hopefully with all the new centres opening around us one will include a pharmacy. read more

If I could give a zero after what I have witnessed today I would. Typically I am understanding of low staff or slow turn around. However we waited 47 minutes and once we got to the drive through window box we weren't even greeted! We were there for an additional fifteen minutes sitting prior to driving off. The pharmacy was open, the individual(s) in there however seemed to not care that three people had already driven off and they had a line of over seven people inside. In drive through an additional seven. Daryl the male (known after going inside) appeared to be almost not caring, or at the most lazy. He was literally walking around. Not reading labels. Not attending to people. Walking around. The only other individual Jacqueline was the pharmacist and seemed to be doing what she could behind the scenes filling, but I'd have hoped if you were that understaffed there would be more effort made. The general manager of the store was very kind, older gentleman with a beard, but he said any issues with the pharmacy would need to be addressed through their manager who was not present. Upon asking those in line how long they'd been waiting they'd mentioned 20 minutes. I also don't understand how they had gotten quicker service by over half the time. If I had not had multiple children in the vehicle I would have attempted to go inside, or if I'd have known the time it would require I wouldn't have gotten in the line (and consequently trapped) to begin with. I would think there is a better system to this. As it is I will be transferring my prescriptions. Clearly they have so much business that mine should not be missed. I am however extremely displeased. read more

Worst pharmacy!!! On two occasions they did not update all the members of my families insurance information after I gave my insurance card to update everyone. Then when I went to pick up scripts, they told me I had to come back or go inside... Sick ... With a 2 and 4 year old child sick. I think not! No compansion , rude, long lines! Pharmacy got all new staff about 6 months ago and the pharmacy went down hill! Even though it's a minute from my house , I will drive 20 minutes to Katy Medical Complex Pharmacy to not have to deal with this terrible pharmacy. We received a text that our prescription was ready. We arrived to drive up window with two vehicles in front of us. We got our prescription 41 minutes later. There were at least 5 employees in the pharmacy area. Our turn at window took 13 minutes to transact a completed prescription to me. I actually saw the filled prescription about 1 minute after they took our name and birthdate. I have never been so dumbfounded at a drive up window. read more
