So I made an online order and one of the items was ordered wrong. Xitlali Escobedo was dressed as an angel and she was. She got in touch with the manager and canceled my order and assisted with selecting the correct item I needed. She had a smile and was patient . Thank you for her assistance and kindness. She also price checked some items for price for me and packed my in store order just right. And made small talk with me the whole time. read more

Horrible service at the pharmacy. Not helpful at all. I had to get a prescription transferred and it's been over 1 hour 30 minutes and they still haven't transferred it yet. My son needs this medication and these people careless about others. My son's eyes have now worsen and they careless that he needs his medication. Never will I be coming here again. Súper disappointed in pharmacy. I was waiting on a painkiller, hoping for some relief. Website said script was on hold and I should call pharmacy. That's a laugh. Was on hold for 20 minutes before I gave up and tried again. After another 10 I called and spoke with someone in the front of the store to find out if the pharmacy was open. I explained I needed to find out why my script was on hold. She suggested I come to the store to talk to pharmacist. Really? Drive 20 minutes one way to find an answer that could be a two minute phone conversation? She then took my name and number and said she would give it to the pharmacy to call me back. Yeah, right. I tried again calling before they closed and waited another 15 minutes. And no call from the pharmacy. Now they are closed and I am without my prescribed painkiller. Thanks CVS. read more

Tried to get a prescription transferred today. Almost twelve hours and still no prescription! Started the process at 9:00 AM. Went in 3 times to check. Called. Left a message. Finally got back to me at 7:30 PM to say they couldn't get ahold of Walgreens, so they were giving up. Said I should contact Walgreens for further assistance. So I went over to Walgreens, and they told me she kept calling them and just hanging up before they could answer. Walgreens also told me they had already transferred the prescription, but that they had somehow lost or deleted it. Walgreens offered to verbally transfer it (not even sure what that means) because apparently you cannot transfer it a second time. So I raced back over to CVS before they closed. I arrived just as they were pulling down the screen. I tried to plead with them to help me before heading out for the night. Told them that I need the antibiotics in a hurry. They refused--even though the lady that was working with me all day was standing on the other side the counter! I said I couldn't believe this, and she stormed out, refusing to look at me. After talking to the manager of CVS, it turns out the Pharmacy is run by someone else. She said they had received many complaints. Guess who was in charge of the Pharmacy? The lady that stormed out and failed to help me all day! People are going to die because of her incompetence.... You can't go home until the job is done--especially when the client is standing in front of you and has been waiting on -you- all day! This pharmacist should get her license revoked. read more

They do not answer the phone and the drive thru is frequently closed. Screenshot attached of how long I waited on hold to speak to a pharmacist before I gave up and ended the call (90+ minutes). Recent corporate changes have caused them to drastically decline over the last 6 months or so. Even the app has been horribly glitchy during that timespan. Avoid CVS. read more

This store is the worst and it's only become that way in the recent two years because I've never had problems getting my medication. However, they don't answer their phones. I can never get my medication on time they're always out of it or it's on order so they offer me maybe a five day supply Until they get more. However, tonight I was told that they cannot do a five day supply and I will have to go without my medication because they do not do that and they never have and I definitely know this is a new person at the store I don't know how long they've worked there, but they did say they would call their manager and then call me back. The store closes in 20 minutes so I bet I won't be getting a call. This is a medication that I am desperate to have because I rely on it and right now I feel out of my skin because I don't have it. I don't understand how a pharmacy can't get it together like all other pharmacies work. Unfortunately, us people on medication relying on medication to live are treated like it's not important. That's exactly how I feel with this pharmacy like I'm not important or my life is not important. No stars at all and anyone who leaves more than one must have a lot of patience or is a worker there trying to make them look better. You can't ever get anyone in the phone when you call the pharmacy. I was going to switch my prescriptions over to cvs because a couple of them were showing to be a little cheaper but after calling 3 times and being stuck on hold for over 5 min each time, screw them I'll stay with H‑E‑B where someone answers every time. read more

Can I select a rating of 0? I understand if your short staffed and can't answer the phones, but if you're not going to pick up after 90 minutes of waiting then what's the point of having a help line. Finally decided to drive in, after reviewing the app and checking online as they were not filling my prescription, to only find out they hadn't started filling it after days of having it. Ended up having to wait 90 minutes after driving 30 min for something that a phone call would have resolved in seconds. read more

My family & I have been a loyal customer for over 11 years here. Earlier this month I went to pick up a branded medication that has a zero dollar co-pay with my insurance. We I went through the drive thru to pick it up I was asked to pay over $250???? When I asked the pharmacy tech why it's over $250 more than I have ever paid she said that's the cost. Confused I asked her to see the medication they gave me thinking there has to be some mistake or misunderstanding. She said they are no longer stocking that branded medication because a generic has just come out & they we're giving me that instead. I never authorized this change or did my physician. I was then rudely ask if I want it or not? I said hell no. The branded costs me zero but they were trying to hit me for $250 on a generic medication my insurance does not cover, they will only cover the branded Rx I have always received. She said they will have to order it then. I said please do because I'm not pay $250. I was told it would be a few days before they could get it. Oddly enough 45 minutes after leaving the pharmacy I received a text message saying my branded Rx was ready for pick up. Deceptive practices telling me they don't stock my branded medication, trying to get over $250 for a medication that my insurance doesn't even cover & being lied to that it's not in stock when it obviously was. Two weeks later they did the same thing to my wife with the same medication trying to charge her $250 for a generic that my insurance doesn't cover when the branded is $0 copay for us. Something has changed here in the last year. Needless to say I recommend going to another pharmacy that will actually give you what your doctor prescribed & what your insurance covers instead of try to gouge customers to line their own pockets. I have been in the medical field for over 22 years & never have had a pharmacy try to pull a stunt like this. Not once , but twice in a month. I always recommend asking for the copay difference between the branded & generic. Most people think that the generic is always less expensive but many insurance companies do not have newer generic medications covered. Those contracts are usually done annually & if the generic drug was not available when those contracts are negotiated they aren't covered & are more expensive than the branded version until the next contract is negotiated. I was not fooled but I'm sure they are getting away with this with many customers. They have lost my business forever & I will be sure to tell everyone I know not to go here for any reason. We have lots of other good choices in Kyle that do not operate this way & look after the customers. read more

I have tried twice with this pharmacy & I give up after basically being told to; I called them to check to see if a prescription was ready she informed me it was not ready that they could only fill half of the meds & for me to call the to find a different pharmacy that could fill the prescription. I went in to get a prescription filled they informed me they didn't have the medication and weren't planning on getting it and for me to call my doctor to change my medications to something different. (really are you the doctor now?) So done with that dumb cvs!! I have never in my life had this many issue with a pharmacy, please close this store. read more

Pharmacist Weaver went above and beyond today. I have been dealing with severe tooth pain. I had a dentist appointment near the end of the day today, but I didn't have time to go to the pharmacy in Round Rock because I wanted to watch my nephew's first basketball game in Kyle. I went to CVS in Kyle after my nephew's game. It was a little after 8PM, and the pharmacy closes at 9PM. I was hoping I could get my medicine within 15 minutes, but I wasn't sure since it was so late. Pharmacist Weaver took care of both of my prescriptions in the drive-thru without me even asking. I was so thankful! I never write reviews, but I felt I needed to with this experience because it was by far the best experience I've ever had at a pharmacy. She also gave a great consultation over my new medication. Thank you so much, Pharmacist Weaver! read more

The staff can be short, but only if you come in during busy hours. I've never actually had a terrible experience here, because I always call ahead when it comes to re-filling my prescription. Reliable, competent staff that gets the job done. Not overly friendly, but there is also a high customer density in this area, so it's understandable that they get tired of putting up with demanding people after awhile. read more

Remember Eckerds? They wouldn't put up with this crap at Eckerds. Oh girl said she would special order my dying grandmothers cream...I was told it was some strange computer error. I had to wait in line for 35 minutes to find out that they did not have what I ordered. The little gal behind the counter kept telling the line of folks that she was trying to get the manager to open another register but the manager wouldn't do it. I called the manager and they had no answer as to why this store is consistently one of the worst in the chain. I called the location on Mockingbird and they ordered it for me. read more

This pharmacy DRIVES ME KAH-RAZY! What is with them calling you all hours of the day or night asking you if you want something refilled? I believe I know how to dial a phone or drive to the joint if I want something refilled. We were recently trying to enjoy our 28th anniversary dinner when my cell rang and it was non other than CVS pharmacist asking me if I wanted something refilled. REALLY? If our insurance didn't insist, rather, FORCE us to use CVS, we'd go elsewhere! I HATE, HATE, HATE to be pestered by ANY company! Came in for some pictures that we ordered online. Come to find out that 3 1/2 hours after placing them they had not released them to be printed. No big deal. But one of the workers Michelle seemed to be irritated that we wanted to pay up front for them and that she had to wait until they were done printing and had to manually put in the order to ring us up. I came for prescriptions Tylenol & ibuprofen infant prescription, which is on the counter medicine most likely. She told me it took about 1 hour. I wait and came back after 1 hour, I came back to the drive through, no one out the window for service, I need to push to call, finally one of the guy came out, he said it took another 15-20 minute becoz of forgot the Tylenol. I wait another 15-20 minute at the drive through. There is couple car behind me, after 20 minute I thought my medicine was ready. And he is told me can I wait on the side for another 15-20 minute. I was so mad for those almost 2 hour wait. Please don't come to this cvs. They need to re training their stuff. read more

Ugh! I HATE this pharmacy!!!! When they didn't have 2 of the 3 prescriptions I needed filled for my very sick toddler at home, I was told I was out of luck. I would need to make my own calls to a list of pharmacies and find out who had the prescriptions in stock. Then, I would have to report back to the CVS pharmacist so she could forward my scripts elsewhere. NEVER, in my life, has a pharmacy asked me to do there job. The lack on concern and customer service is absolutely appalling. After many back-and-forth calls between the Dr office, the pharmacy and back to the Dr office resulted in all 3 scripts being filled at 3 separate locations. That's okay. I can deal. Where things went even MORE wrong, was when sent my dad the next day to pick p the prescription CVS had just called to inform me was filled. When he arrived, chick at the counter tells him that there is NO prescription for my son and that, in fact, there NEVER was a prescription called in at any time for my son. When I spoke to her directly and told her who I spoke to the day before and informed her of my confirmation call, she just dismissed it with, "oh. well, i dont have anything." Do NOT take your scripts here. Drive the extra 10 min to Walgreens. They're better equipped, much nicer and at least pretend to be concerned for your well being. read more

Called to ask if my particular insurance covered my birth control after having a baby. Spoke to PHILLIP. When I asked his response was " you will have to come In the store to find out" .... ummm bullshit - I can read you all the info off my card and you can check that way I don't have to lug my 15 pound baby around just to " see" if it will be accepted. So my response was " well can't you just check the same way you would in the store?" His response " I guess but you'll have to wait 10 - 15 minutes "...... I know he was intentionally saying that to be rude so I just would hang up but I politely said" yes that's fine I understand you're busy I'll wait " before I could finish my sentence he put me on hold. Then after waiting 8 minutes on hold he picked the phone up and hung up. I hate this pharmacy. Why doesn't cvs do something about their staff? Like seriously. Maybe I need to start going to Walgreens. Cvs is way overpriced anyways. They add about 2-3$ extra to every product they sell that you could get at H-E-B , Walmart or even Walgreens. For what reason? Gosh this one has been tuff because I didn't have a choice because of insurance. These people are completely incompetent and I really believe they need to be held accountable for the continuous mistakes. I am just going to use the last three months as an example but I have been doing business with them for 3 years. They haven't had medicines for me for the last three months! I must say that I have several chronic diseases and I need my medications. Also this month I was called a liar when I went to pick up my medicine after trying to pick it up for days! I sent my husband and he came home without all of them. When I called the pharmacy back they told me that I had already picked it up. Now remember that I have been trying to get them to fill it for days and now I am completely out of medicine. When I went down there of course that offered no apology at all. They told me they were changing out there computers. So last month they were out of my medicine for a week. The month before they were out of a different medicine for a week and this month they kept losing my prescriptions. I am moving back to Walgreens effective in the morning! read more

Unfortunately my husband's insurance requires us to use this pharmacy. I had to wait 3 weeks to have my Nexium prescription filled because the pharmacy couldnt get their information correct. Went here to get a prescription filled for our daughter and the pharmacist was a complete jerk. Said he couldn't find info after we told him that we were new to this pharmacy and had never used it. Then he said that it was starting to get too busy to deal with trying to look up information and pushed us to the side while dealing with other guests, treating them rudely also. Two days later and our other kid gets sick and have to go back again to get a new prescription filled, and again they couldn't find info...pharmacist # 1 gives up and passes me to someone, Andrea, who is supposed to help, but ended up being the biggest bit**. Gave her the insurance and the shoves it back stating that it was not correct and that I should have something else to show her. True customer service is lacking and there needs to be some serious training. It's not like we want to be filling medicine and spending our hard earned money there either, but to be treated like crap as you are doing it is absolutely ridiculous! If you hate your job that much go work somewhere else, but don't take it out on your paying customers. read more

I went with my mom to have her RX filled. Has Tricare and had to move from Walgreens to CVS for one-time fills at the beginning of the year becuase Tricare dropped their connection with Walgreens (boo!). Pharmacy area was messy, techs had NO personality, didn't ask if she had insurance and were quite put out when she asked if that was with her Tricare because she just assumed drs office told them. Then curiously the Tricare site was "down" so her insurance couldn't be verified. They really didn't seem to care. read more

Pharmacy staff are incredibly friendly and quick. I am finally getting my daily pill in a 3 month supply for the first time in 10 years per their suggestion! Other pharmacies kept me on monthly refill with same insurance. Auto-refills make life easy. Love you guys & gals at CVS! read more

For quite some time this particular CVS has been difficult, and almost impossible to deal with. Very happy customer until beginning of this year, and suddenly it all changed. The customer service went out the window and children answering the phones and checking with "lead tech" to do any assisting??? WHY? Just two weeks ago, called to refill a prescription. Was told that they had to submit to MD for approval; cool. Then, I call to check on the status, and was told they hadn't heard from MD, so the system kicked it out. Okay, not happy, but please resubmit. Called 2 days later to find out status, and was told that it hadn't been approved yet. So, calling the doctor office, and MA said yes, it was called in. Called back to pharmacy, and the girl answering the phone said she didn't show any refills pending, and would I like to submit for a refill!!!! I CANNOT believe that this system or their program is so messed up, but it is. And because programs only spit out what is put in, Every time I call, I have to re-explain the situation, and when I asked if there isn't a way to put in notes, I am told no. REALLY? What idiot developed that program? But, those idiots aside, if they didn't have notes in the system, there is no way they could remember enough names to treat people badly. They just aren't that smart. Final straw - moving my prescriptions to another pharmacy to help save what little sanity is left to deal with medications!
