There's this old lady with white short hair and glasses at the cashier. Rudest lady i've ever encountered!! When asking if a product was in stock she kept giving me this stank look like she was confused and didn't want to help me. Wish I could leave 0 stars. I had my prescription sent here because it's so close to my house, for weeks they said my prescription was coming "tomorrow" and after 3 weeks of checking everyday they finally had it, only it wasn't, it cost $300 instead of $10 because they didn't have the generic version. Now I got to Costco which is 20 miles away but at least the prescription is there when they say it is. read more

I come in here all the time to pick up prescriptions and sometimes a few other things. However the pharmacists Marlowe, Marissa and Rasa are ALWAYS so kind, caring, fast and efficient. They never make picking up the prescriptions a hassle. They are all so professional yet so customer considerate. They are top notch and even in a small way can lighten my day. I am in tears! There is a short blonde older lady there who wears glasses that I believe is a manager. I was having trouble at the self checkout due to coupons. I thought I would save time but as I was trying to figure out the coupon system 3 other people were already checked out by an associate. A lady came and cleared my error. I told her I thought I was saving time checking out this way but it was frustrating knowing 3 others checked out before me. being in a hurry to pick up my children from school. she proceeded to tell me ("we all have children!" we are all in a hurry! that's life!) It completely took me by surprise. she was yelling, mean and condescending. I told her I had recently lost my husband. life to me was not Just life at that moment. she proceeded to tell me " well, I lost my parents! that's life!" She proceeded to smirk and roll her eyes. I am a single mother now with children to raise without a father. Please be kind with strangers because you have no idea what they have going on in their life. Grace and mercy Always. The pharmacist, Kha N., is extremely rude : takes a terrible tone, gives attitude, talks over me, and even takes calls in the middle of consultations so he doesnt have to answer questions aka do his job. Furthermore, he does not follow-up when asked to contact providers, insisting it has been done even though the doctor says it has not. I let it slide until it became a pattern. They need a pharmacy manager with a better personality as we are PATIENTS. Hopefully they fire him and replace him because the rest of the staff is nice! This is the closest CVS in Laguna Beach, but it's literally the worst drugstore ever. The people at the front of the store are fine, the pharmacist if used to hate dealing with people, every time you have to interact with her for a prescription, Covid vaccine, anything, she is completely rude to everyone from what I've seen and I've never heard a single pleasantry. I have gone there at least half a dozen times, and every single time the same pharmacist is just totally rude and clearly hates dealing with people. Her name is Dr. Naiz. I went to get a vaccine, and I'm fairly certain the protocol is that you were supposed to wait afterwards for 15 to 30 minutes, and I asked her, and she said do what you want. I mean come on? I've been getting my prescriptions filled here for at least 18 years. I go in the other day for my monthly prescription. I'm 2nd in line standing where I always do. NOBODY behind me. Pharmacist comes out yelling and asking if I got a text that my prescription is ready. Yes. FFS I've been getting texts every day for a week. He proceeds to yell at me to follow the whiteboard signs. As usual, CVS did not have or carry the prescriptions I needed in the Laguna Beach CVS or any other close by pharmacies. There was no help in finding a nearby CVS or other pharmacy. My daughter, visiting from out of state, had a similar experience. The closest CVS pharmacy that carried her prescription was about 45 min. away in each direction. I have had several horrible experiences with this pharmacy, wrong prescriptions x 2 for the same prescription, stating they did not provide flu shots while I was literally touching the "Get your flu shots, here" sign. Been going to Cvs the last 3-4 nights purchasing several toys and supplies at the Laguna Beach location and getting any cardboard boxes that the store planned to throw away to repurpose for care packages to send to Poland to help the Ukrainian refugees. The night shift manager, John/Josh and team have been very helpful and sweet to helping us with our mission to send as many care packages as we can to Poland this week and next for the shipment. The night manager and I had arranged last night (Tues, Mar 8) that I come the following day Weds, Mar 9 to pick up some boxes from the shipment. I came a bit earlier than planned (2:30pm) to see if they were ready, but was taken aback by how rude the day time manager (bald man) was to me and my brother. We had expressed our prior engagement with the night manager to the day time manager in which he then responded in a derogatory and belittling tone that "the boxes we get from shipment goes in a bundle and we get $300 from each stack for the store." He continued to talk down to me and my brother as if repurposing the boxes to send packages to the Ukrainian refugees were below him and the store. I was also speaking with another employee at the time and the manager called him over to handle the next customer in line, even though there was a checker already there and only one person there. It felt like I wasn't even a "customer" there when the other employee left me mid-conversation to help someone else out. Additionally, my mother came to this CVS a couple days back and had a similar experience with the daytime management. She was completely turned off and upset by the behavior of the daytime management and was left feeling upset that she wasn't considered a "customer" when she was speaking to another employee. We were very turned off by the way the daytime manager treated us as it was no way to speak to anyone in customer service. read more

The guy behind the pharmacy counter, Hassan, started an argument with a customer, yelling at her in front of everyone, holding up the line, and even threatened to use her private pharmaceutical and medical information in her file at CVS to get her!!!! I could not believe my ears. I strongly suspect he was on drugs or mentally ill. His name was Hassan, at the pharmacy checkout on Saturday. Avoid him. I have been coming to this store for over 10 years everyone has always been so helpful, so kind and caring until today... I was in there yesterday and my product wasn't on the shelf, a helpful person (male) told me they get the truck tomorrow. I called today and spoke with DALE. he said yes, the shipment came in today but they're unloading the truck now and I'll have to call in the morning. I told him that I have to drive quite a ways to get a certain product and yesterday he said a certain customer comes in and buys the entire stock so I wanted to see if they could save me a couple items. I had to come to this pharmacy to pick up my husband's prescription. When I went to the pharmacy area, I was distracted by the La Roche Posay display. I had been looking for an item from them, and it's sold out everywhere. As I was looking, a young woman who worked there came up to me and asked if I needed help. I asked her for the item I was looking for....and it was sold out. She apologized and offered me a comparable product. I was really happy that she offered me something similar. I didn't even know a comparable item existed. I then went to wait in line to get my husband's prescription. As I was waiting, the woman approached me with the original item I had been looking for that was out of stock. She said she had gone in the back and opened a shipment that had just come in. The item I was looking for was in the shipment!!! I was so happy I almost hugged her. This woman had gone out of her way to make me happy. She made my day. She really did and I told her so. I then was helped at the pharmacy. They were very nice, polite and efficient. I got all my items and went home happy. I normally go to the CVS Cypress, near where I live. I love them there too. But, I had to get a prescription at this other location. They really have great customer service as a priority at CVS. read more

Truly a community store. I have been coming here for over 20 years. The staff knows the kids in the community and families and have their best interest in mind. They are helpful, kind and usually have what I need. It's been a lifesaver for those last minute supply needs for kids' school projects etc when other places are far or closed! read more

Absolutely terrible customer service, I would give 0 stars if I could. The only reason I had to come into this pharmacy was because my doctor wouldn't send my prescription to my normal pharmacy for some reason. I was told at first they couldn't find my prescription even after my doctor told me he had sent it, so right off the bat I was left waiting. A few minutes go by and I ask someone to double check. They told me 10 minutes. Half hour goes by. I go to check in again and they look at me like I'm crazy. They told me "a few more minutes". 30 more minutes go by and I'm in pain and beyond fed up. I check in for the final time and they told me to wait in line and they'll have my medicine by the time I get to the front. I get to the front and they still treated me like I was just their paycheck. No common courtesy, no acknowledgement, nothing. I'm well convinced these ladies were popping some of their own pills back there because they had no idea what the concept of time was. read more

I'm told to come back, wait, or have them call me after an hour so that their "supervisor" could come back from lunch and let me know if my prescriptions were available?? So I wait for a call. Then they tell me they don't have my updated insurance card even though I just picked up a prescription from this location last week...so I attempt to call them while I'm home sick with tonsillitis and they were 100% unreachable. I have given them three try's now and the pharmacy employees just can't seem to find a way to be friendly to people. My first two negative experiences were with the same person, a dark skin, younger gentleman, really impatient and just unfriendly. I went there again tonight and had the same experience, different person. They ask you to spell your last name and once you get a few letters in they rudely interrupt you for your first name. If you don't speak fast enough they ask you for your name again and completely interrupt you. Just very rude people here. I complained to the manager twice now and nothing has been done. I am moving all of my prescriptions to Laguna drugs. Don't reply on a big chain to compensate for you needing to be friendly. read more

I go to this CVS because it's convenient to where I live. However, I don't recommend calling them for pharmacy information. Yesterday and today I was "hung up" twice, then on hold for 15 minutes before actually speaking to someone in the pharmacy. I had questions about medication interactions.
