The most filthy store I have ever been in. This store is close to Laguna Woods which is 55+ community so this would mean that their immune system would be compromised. I went into the bathroom and I was appalled. The floor was awful!! I was afraid to touch anything in there. The store wasn't much better. Diana is a pharmacist who should not be working with a vulnerable population, she has no sympathy for clients in need for help . Having worked with the public for 25+ years I learned that two people with the same experience could relay their impressions and they would not sound like they had the same experience at all. As a working woman I am always most flexible with my fellow working women. I could give more justification but basically I would like a situation corrected as soon as possible. You have in your employ Teresa , I believe Ortiz as the last name. I was told she was the manager. Having gone to this location many years I have seen many personal changes. The problem I would like addressed is that no customer should be talked to or treated the way I had that day. The cause was that the store had not programed the proper info into the register and I was charged $6.26 for 4 Hagen Daz when I should have been charged for 2. I had my bill with me when I returned to the store. Teresa immediately said "the price is not for all varieties". I said that was not on the sign. She asked if I had returned with the Ice cream and I pointed out that should be unnecessary. She continued to state her points of why I should not be given a refund for 2 containers. At this point I was very disappointed. She insisted I come back to the freezer to see my error. I, of course did, and at the freezer she saw that all varieties were 2 for one. Without apologizing she turned around heading back to the register. I thought this was it, problem finally solved. No. Again she asked for the ice cream, again I said I put it in my freezer, since this was an overcharge no Ice cream product had to be returned. As I stood there she asked for my phone number. She had my receipt this whole time so I knew she didn't need that. She rearing the ice cream, this time taking off the cost of 2. Never did I receive any remark that could have made me feel less mistreated. Nothing. Please give this lady some training in customer relations! On another note I spent over $100 on beauty products because I had coupons. The coupons expired that day, July first. At the register all were put in the trash with the explanation if the coupon expires on July 1, it is not good on July 1. I did not learn that from many years of doing this process. This was the first time. I kept the prods, paid full price and left the CVS confused. My past experience was that coupons were good up to midnight that day. I will probably switch to Rite Aide now. This five-star review is specifically for Kyle, however, the gentleman who assisted us on the phone and, later, at the register in the store. Friendly and helpful, Kyle makes customers feel cared for. He seemed to go above and beyond to help us, though I have a sense that's his natural way of dealing with people. When you go there compare prices to others such as Amazon. I bought a package of Gillette razors and was charged $53 with a 40% coupon brought the price down to $35 dollars. After I got home and compared the price I could have purchased it for $32 on Amazon. I went into this CVS store and they had a running sale where the sign said if you buy 2 Colgate items you will get $6 in extra bucks. At check out I bought the Colgate items and didn't get the reward. I spoke with the cashier and he tried to help me but was unable to so he called his manager. The MANAGER CASEY refused to help me. She wouldn't let me speak and said several times , "There is nothing I can do to help you!" She kept interrupting me so I finally said, "Are you going to let me speak." I explained this is my receipt and I have purchased the items with the sale and didn't get my reward. She would not honor the sale, she refused to listen, and she didn't want to do anything but argue. She is a very aggressive person and lacks any customer service skills. As a manager your store has an active sale and it's posted and your system failed me with my reward and her only response is to say ," I can't do anything to help you!" We had a checker, Mitzi, who I swear made this visit like a trip to Vegas. She was witty, fast, sharp and just ON, like a Blackjack dealer. She immediately started talkin smack to my friend and it took him a second to snap in and realize that this crazy lady was messin with us. Once we were all snapped in on her wackiness, another lady comes in line and starts dancing to the music in the store. Oh, not just dancing a little, but hopping around and fully boogieing down. One Flew Over The Cookoos Nest!! Every time I go there there's always a glitch. This time it went over-the-top! I get into the line to return something when the cashier asked me for my receipt, I opened my purse to get out my wallet and the man behind me verbally assaulted me screaming at the top of his lungs "Get Out If Line!" and the cashier joined in with him telling me to get out of line, I thought I was being punk'd it was assault at all angles. Kahn lost my order & gave me bad customer service when I confronted him about it. He was extremely condescending & talked to me as if I was confused. I asked for the Supervisor & instead of apologizing & trying to get to the bottom of the problem- all she said was that she would resubmit my order. When I came back to get the order- it wasn't found. I'm going on two and a half weeks without my medication because of their mistakes. No apology just a I'll order it now. I called Customer Service to complain & after holding for 20 minutes- was told I would need to transfer to another department to complain again. I don't have time for this. And I'm sure that's EXACTLY what they're counting on!! NEVER AGAIN!! My girlfriend had just gotten surgery and we needed to get her prescription filled. CVS was right off of the freeway so I chose it, even though my girlfriend said "why don't we just go to Vons?" I said "oh, it's okay, it's right here and I'm sure it'll be fine." I had never been more wrong in my life. I walk in (because the gf was passed out in the car and couldn't move), made my way to the pharmacy drop off window to get her prescription filled and was told that the prescription would be ready in 15 minutes. Sweet. I got a few things I needed to get in the store while I waited the 15 minutes. Within 10 minutes the pick up window line had stretched almost half-way through the store. This is where things got bad. I got in line and after nearly 30 minutes I was finally at the front of the line. The person in front of me was making a scene over something or other to the only person helping anybody at the pick up window, and the people behind me were now all around me, at the sides of me and even butting in front of me, waving their hands and shaking their canes at the pharmacy staff impatiently as they yelled at the pharmacist and technicians (who were busy accepting new scripts). I gave CVS the benefit of the doubt all this time, but I was starting to get upset. After another 20 minutes of waiting, with the lady in front of me still complaining about something to the only assistant at the pick up window (all of the other employees were still busy accepting new scripts -- WTF) the pick up window line had grown even further and had evolved into an angry mob, similar to what you would see outside of an abortion clinic. Pissed. The lady that was in front of me finally left and when I got to the window my prescription wasn't ready. "Why isn't it ready? It's now almost an hour later -- 45 minutes later than you said it would take. What is the hold up?" I demanded at the assistant. He said he'd check on it and before I knew it, I had the general manager in front of me saying "We're working on it if you can just hold on a little longer we're having trouble with our system." OK, system problems I can understand, but an hour had elapsed and there should have been MORE than ample time for the three people in the back, or the two assistants at the drop off window to count some measly pills and throw them in some pill jars. Again, I persisted to try to get the meds so I could finally leave: "Well, I put my prescription in an hour ago and it should have already been in the system. You said it would take 15 minutes to fill, it's now an hour and change later and nobody has filled it yet! WTF is going on?" He walks away without saying a word, looks in some drawers, fingers through the prescription packet rack and comes back and says "It may be a while before your prescription is ready. If you'd like, I can take down your name and number and give you a call when it's ready." This is complete crap. I told him I wanted my prescription back so I can go somewhere (like one of the several other drug stores in this area) who actually want my business and care about their customers. He says OK and walks away to find it. The angry mob behind me was now at my back and shoulders as I stood crunched up at the only pick up window that was open. He can't find the prescription. Nearly 10 minutes go by and the pharmacist comes out with the prescription and says "our systems are down so if you can wait a while longer it should be up by tonight." It's 5:45 p.m. at this point and the girlfriend came in, bandaged up, asking what is going on. "I can't wait any more, see this girl, she is in pain right now. I should have had my prescription almost an hour and a half ago. Give me my damn prescription so I can LEAVE, NOW!" She walks away and comes back with a file. She sifts through it and pulls out the prescription, hands it to me and starts saying something. I stop her mid sentence and start telling her how ridiculous this is and that they should be ashamed of how poorly their pharmacy system is. I continue to blast her with the crowd behind me chiming in every so often saying things like "yeah, WTF is going on, come on!" and mid-sentence, she walks away and goes to the back. Seriously? SERIOUSLY CVS? Are you out of your fucking mind? You buy out a perfectly good Longs drug store and completely destroy it? You demean your customers with horrible service and tout your less than poor service like it's the holy fucking grail? Even Wal-Mart has better customer service than this, and Wal-Mart sucks! I'm going to tell everybody I know how shitty CVS is. I'm going to encourage everyone to take their business elsewhere. I'm going to post this review all over the internet, on every single review site I can find on google. AND I'm going to keep submitting complaints to the Better Business Bureau until they respond. I was only here for the pharmacy to pick up a prescription for my Grandmum and one of the workers was HELLA RUDE. I understand that you may get annoyed, and that sometimes the work is tedious or you got some personal sh** going on it your life, but you don't need to rub it into people. Come on, this cvs is located what is basically an older generation neighborhood, you need to know and expect that there will be elderly people that come in and some may have short term memory, dementia, etc., if you can't handle those types of people, don't work there at all was surprised to hear the harshness and the obvious rude attitude from your tone and voice. The pharmacy is always long lines and very little help no matter when you go. I finally decided to see if something better would work and went with paying to have my prescription delivered to me. It's a service they offer and charged me for. It's supposed to be a 1 to 2 day delivery. So far I'm at the end of the 3rd day and looking at the progress it shows the prescriptions been filled. No change in status in three days. Which means I paid for a service they promised and am not getting. Tomorrow I will have to stand in the long line to get my prescription and hopefully get a refund. No telling if that will actually happen. Switching pharmacies ASAP. I'm done with this one. read more

This is the worst Pharmacy I have ever been to, I assume given the fact it is in close proximity to multiple retirement facilities. I suppose it stands to reason they have crazy long lines and wait times with extremely inquisitive customers who ask more questions than necessary but if you're a business with a high volume of traffic I feel it is your responsibility to staff said business appropriately. Unfortunately this CVS does not. Time and time again it's the same thing. I don't even bother standing in the pick up line for prescriptions I know have been called in due to the fact every time I have in the past, they don't have them or can't locate them and I'm redirected to the drop off line, then back to the pick up line. Each line I wait behind other customers who have arrived well after me. I can't ever get out of here in under a half hour, for scripts which are supposed to be ready to go. To highlight an example, I'm writing this review as I stand here waiting for these guys to get it together. It's extremely frustrating. I will be transferring all of my prescriptions out of this location and CVS. I have had it with this company. read more

Information in the system is outdated and not updated causing confusion- always offering to make note on the system but not sure if they read the note to begin with. The pharmacy department is horrendous. Earlier this year they dispensed a wrong dosage to my Dad who is 80 years old and they blamed him that he did not tell them of the changes in his medications? What is the pharmacist for if there are duplicate prescriptions with discrepancies on it? Then most recently, they keep refilling a maintenance prescription every 10 days because it was "Doctor's Order". My God!!! You want an 80year old man to keep coming every 10days for a maintenance medication because according to the pharmacist "We're busy receiving a lot of prescriptions everyday". So they can't do their role of clarifying orders and advocating for their clients. Go find a clerk, maybe they'll do a better job! read more

Dealing with pain from two herniated discs. Encountered a lot of uncaring people ever since diagnosed. Every time I come to get my medicine I'm treated very kindly by Cindy the pharmacist, Patrick, and the rest of the girls. They never make me feel bad, and always try to help me feel better in anyway possible. They are kind, sweet, positive and caring. I know what it's like to not feel well, and be in pain, and it's people like these who made a difference in my world these past few months. Even when I come in not feeling well, or in pain, they still show kindness to me by being so caring. Even if you don't live close it's worth it to come to this pharmacy because they know what it means to treat people right. read more

Does anyone care about their customers at this CVS pharmacy? I think not! I went to pick up an Rx this after receiving a call it was ready. First issue the sign at the pharmacy says they are open at 8 am,but when I got there I was told they do not open till 9am.Then after waiting an hour I was told to wait 30 minutes thats when I met the Queen of mean Jessica a pharmacy clerk. I am 78 years old and have never been treated so crappy in a retail business. I waited, spent $118 for my RX and stopped on the way out to buy a package of Tums.I will not bore anyone with more of details of her rude behavior. Jessica I hope when you age you are teated better than you treat your senior customers especially the ones I saw you treat who have difficulty with English. I filled a refill prescription here and they gave me the wrong dosage! The pills were bigger and thicker. How can they not notice? They intermingled them with the right dosage. Always ask for the mfg bottle when possible. This is extreme negligence. read more

The one time I had a prescription filled here they made a huge error on the dose (mg instead of mcg) and I didn't discover it until I got home. I used to LOVE this location when it was Longs Drugs. I HATE it since it's been CVS. I believe it is one of THE most poorly managed stores I've ever used. The shelves are not filled; seems inventory always runs low or is out. There is usually only one check stand open, and the line has at least 5 people waiting. I search for certain items online, and it shows CVS has it. I go to this CVS, and they NEVER have the item I want. Normally, I refuse to use this store even though it's the nearest to me, however my mother uses it and I drive for her and sometimes have to push her wheelchair. Otherwise, I'd just assume this CVS store didn't exist. I must add that most of the employees here are nice (if you can find them), but there was a man who worked there who was quite rude and brusk. I am aware of the stressors created by COVID and I fully appreciate the dedication of essential workers. That said, it doesn't excuse unnecessary rudeness. My physician requested that I ask the pharmacy to contact her regarding my prescription. I called the CVS pharmacy to communicate her wishes and a male staff member was extremely rude on the phone saying, among other things, "we can't be on the phone all day calling doctors." Since it was nearby, I decided to go to the pharmacy to resolve the issue. When I went into the pharmacy, they told me three separate reasons why I couldn't get my prescription filled. It was: 1) unavailable, 2) delayed for 2 weeks, and 3) called into a different pharmacy. None of those things were true and after 20 minutes, I left with my prescription. Additionally, I observed pharmacy staff being both condescending and indifferent to older customers. They might want to invest in customer service training. read more
