The worst pharmacy ever !!! wish i could give this pharmacy zero star !! They usually don't have one or 2 items from prescription.. Also they are too slow !! My dr. Send my prescription to this location 2 weeks ago , after 2 weeks they have called me that my prescription is ready to pick up . I went there to pick it up the day after they have told me the waiting time would be an hour and half !!!! I didn't understand why 2 weeks was not enough time for them to make it ready !!!! read more

After, waiting on hold I finally spoke to someone who was half listening, half laughing at something somewhere else and I had to repeat myself multiple times because he wasnt listening. Was told my prescription would be ready the next day, and it wasn't. Now I have to wait a whole other day and it won't be ready until 8:55 tomorrow which is 5 minutes before closing? This makes no sense. Don't tell customers there medication will be ready and make them wait longer. People need medications for a reason, they can't wait days to take them. Also, every staff member I have spoken to have been utterly RUDE. And have given no sense of compassion or customer service care at all! Can't believe such a recognized company can allow their employees to act this way. read more

Wow the people that reviewed this place before me are on compete extremes. This is a pretty run-of-the-mill place. Clean, well-kept, and well-stocked. The two formers had distinct positive and negative experiences but mine was pretty vanilla. It is what it is. read more

I often wonder if someone die in the line while waiting.--everyone looks so weary. The waits are endless--usually 15-20 makes mutes for prescriptions that you have received notice as being READY! Pick another pharmacy for your service and add a few more years to your life! read more

Slowest pharmacy ever. Do not come here. Long lines and long wait to just pick up a prescription that was ready.

So I went here to buy Christmas stuff on clearance, which should be 90% off. But BEWARE, not everything is on sale. I wanted to buy Christmas lights but they were regular price because they resell them next year. Okay makes sense because that can't go bad. Then I bought a bunch of face masks which don't last forever. Some were 90% off but some were regular price. Okay they're like the same item and some would ring up as $0.39 but some $2.99. The cashier was very understanding and would ring up each one to see which were on sale and which weren't. The manager lady was mean. She said the some masks aren't on sale because they roll over to Valentine's Day. Okay lady these are CHRISTMAS FACIAL MASKS, they even say CHRISTMAS or have reindeers or holiday trademarks. The cashier totally agreed with me that it didn't make sense but the lady was just not understanding at all. Girl, I would definitely NOT buy Christmas masks for valentines. They should have hearts or valentines stuff for that day. They should change that policy. Thank you to the cashier for being patient. read more

Staff here is typically way nicer than any other CVS I've been to, probably because their clients are majority elderly. However, I checked out at the register with some woman named Dori or Kori and she was extremely rude, irritated that I had a coupon and unapologetic for not being able to take a completely good and legit manufacturer coupon. It wasn't worth getting annoyed with over a dollar coupon but I'm sad to see this lady working here, especially if she helps older people out who need a little extra time. Kudos to all the other gentleman that work at the store. I've never met one that wasn't super helpful and courteous. read more

Not sure as to why this store has such a low rating. But I had a very positive experience today for my first visit! Recently moved to the area and transferred my prescription. I was helped at the pharmacy by Grecia and she was absolutely wonderful! Very helpful and friendly! There was a line when I arrived however I did not wait more than 5 minutes max! I highly recommend this pharmacy over others in the area! read more

I've managed to dodge CVS for a few years but my new insurance will only guarantee full reimbursement at their contracted pharmacies - CVS and Walmart (and that's like asking if I'd like to have my right foot or my left foot removed with a rusty hatchet). Because this CVS is near my doctor's office, I thought I'd give it a whirl. After a 25 minute wait to plow through the *wildly* long of 3 humans in the drop-off prescriptions line I made it to the counter. Of the four medications I handed in (luckily on two separate prescription forms), they had only two in stock. Then, as the woman entered the insurance and prescription data into their computer she told me that my insurance was kicking back one of the prescriptions because the quantity exceeded a 30 day supply. When I explained I'd been filling the same prescription elsewhere for years without an issue, she rolled her eyes and said that the computer doesn't lie. So I asked how she/the computer determined the quantity was more than a 30 day supply and she said, "There are 165 tablets requested and the physician instructions are that you take one tablet every 4-6 hours. Divide a day by 6 hours (no joke, she used a calculator) and you get 4 tablets a day which would amount to a quantity of only 120 tablets."  Not wanting to insult her math skills I calmly pointed out that actually the quantity could be 120 tablets if I took one tablet every 6 hours OR 180 tablets if I took one every 4 hours.  Needing backup, she walked over to a woman who was repeatedly answering the phone by snapping, "There are 3 callers ahead of you and you should call back later.". They both looked at me, had a quiet chat, then my clerk returned to tell me that they don't use the 4-6 hour physician instructions to determine quantities. They use the larger number and calculate quantity from that. We went in circles for a bit before another tech was told about my wacky, zany math logic and I guess they bored with the game because I was graciously allowed the quantity as written by my physician. I was told it would be a 20 minute wait and they would call my name over the PA system when it was ready. A line of about 10 people had now formed for the drop-off counter and there were twice as many in the pick-up line. Not fully trusting things would proceed smoothly with my order, I decided to wait out the 20 minutes in the chairs directly in front of the pharmacy counter. I saw several people wait in line to pick up prescriptions who were told that theirs weren't ready even though they received a text message that they were ready the day before. Also, more than a few people who were elderly had mistakenly waited in line at the pick-up counter when they needed to drop off prescriptions only to be sent to wait in the other nightmare line to drop off their prescription. At half an hour my name was called (sort of loudly yelled from one of the 6 or so techs filling prescriptions - no one's name was called over the PA during my whole imprisonment at this CVS) and I dutifully got into line. After another 15-20 minutes of waiting for the 4 people ahead of me to try to pick up their prescriptions so they could keep hope alive they'll be able now to go about their day, I gave the clerk my name. She said that currently only one prescription had been filled, that they had NOT called my name and then schoolmarm-scolded me to go sit back down and wait for my name to be called. Busted. She was now on to me and my fetish for waiting unnecessarily in lines.  I watched several people both drop off prescriptions and pick them up after mine and it was dawning on me that they have favored customers and that neither I nor the 3 others who'd also been waiting since I'd sat down were on the list. After an hour and fifty minutes my name was finally called and I felt the trap door open, allowing my newly appreciated freedom from the third circle of hell. From start to finish, it took well over two hours to fill the two of four prescriptions I needed and I was able to watch in amazement what it looks like when you can simply rely on a store's name recognition and a favored status with insurance companies to double dog dare the DMV to "Top This!". The vast majority of customers were pretty vocal as we shared hidden crusts of bread and commiserated with each other our frustration with complete mismanagement, poor job training, terrible time management and what appeared to be a free-for-all as far as any clarity or guidelines for each employee tasks. As far as customer service goes, they do get one dog-eared, half tarnished gold star for the clerk who finally rang up my prescription and glumly said, "Sorry about the wait." I should have smiled and said, "Thank you". But, honestly at that moment, having the transaction finally complete, all I could process was the screaming-in-my-head urge to run out as fast as I could and to never look back. read more

The only good thing I can say it is usually clean. The worst pharmacy you can imagine. Unorganized, and so busy that I fear they will make a mistake. One line to drop off and one line to pick up. That being said the clerks often have you go to the other line because they can not find you prescription, need to ask for help from another clerk and even to talk to the pharmacist What a nightmare. This is a pretty decent pharmacy compared to other locations but unfortunately they do not have a drive-thro. The pharmacists are patient and kind enough to answer all your questions. It is always busy and there is a minimal wait time to pick up your medicines. The shelves are pretty stocked and never had the trouble to find anything. read more

This is a VERY busy pharmacy and the team was wonderful. All smiles checking in with us in the line to make sure we knew they were working hard and thanked us for our patience. Excellent communication and team work. They have a mostly senior citizen clientele and know how to be sweet and gentle with them. Even remembered some of the regulars names. For a 24 hour store, they have a wide selection. The store is well kept and bathrooms are clean. Friendly and helpful staff.

2/6/2014 night it was raining and cold I went Laguna Hills Paseo De Valencia CVS and stay in line at 8:55 PM . after two person got service I am the only one left. The CVS employee call me to the counter and told me now is 9:00 pm we have to close no more service for you and you need go other CVS which in other city . I driver to other city lake forest CVS and they work only take two to three minuets to help me get my pain release medicine" Motrin ". This task form Laguna hills CVS make me confuse . A, when customer walk in CVS before 9:00 PM that your service time . But you stop service at walk to counter time . stay in line about 5 minute. B, I would like suggest you better put note there to say " The counter are close at 9:00 PM customer shall consider waiting time " and you don't woke any extend time even two to three minute. The pharmacy really needs more employees to make customer service adequate. I waited 1 1/2 hrs for a prescription and observed how hard the cashier worked in trying to locate medicine the pharmacists had filled. There were 3 baskets full and no time to put them in their individual alphabetized boxes so the cashier was constantly looking through them to no avail. The pharmacists couldn't have cared less, their job was to fill the prescription and nothing else. Kudos to Kevin ( I believe that was his name) for working his butt off as the customers were getting frustrated and rude. Management get your act together and get him some help!!!! read more

This place is by far the worst CVS and pharmacy ever existed. Everytime I go there, I end up waiting in long line to check out. The cashiers are always slow. I am used to 24 hour CVS speed and this is like turtle CVS speed. Pharmacy department is by far the worst I've seen. The people who work there said they are "busy". Not really. If they speed up things, it won't be busy. I noticed most people who pick up prescriptions there are old, so they have plenty of time shopping. Making old people wait like a dog is wrong. The lines from front to back are way too long and too slow. Did I mention that the pharmacy guy claim that my insurance card is invalid and was gonna charge me cash price? I called my insurance afterwards and it was active the whole time. You can't even enter insurance info properly? wow. Just wow. I usually go to the walgreens across the street, but they didn't open until 9 am and i needed to fill a prescription for my daughter. Grecia at the counter went above and beyond helping me figure out my new insurance / prescription card. when the customer service on the phone wouldn't give me the information i needed, grecia asked if she could talk to them - and was able to have them give her the information necessary to fill the prescriptions. at walgreens, it's always over an hour wait - the pharmacist Cecilia had it ready in less than 15 minutes at CVS. I found them to be super helpful and customer service oriented. read more

Everything went relatively smooth, no lines, no people and lots of medicine. The only thing is when I first called they said they had the medicine and when I got there to buy it they said they did not and had to order it. This Pharmacy needs to be re-staffed immediately. On top of it, I would advise for the following parties that are employed here to look for a different career path as this one isn't suited for you. It's only obvious. This is directed to the Pharmacy Reps. only, the other staff at this location are very nice as I come here to get other products. Not always helpful as I've had customers come up to me asking if I would know where certain products were, since they couldn't find any other staff to help assist. I've never seen elderly people be treated with such disrespect either. If this was your family member, you would be extremely disappointed with the "so called service." This staff is uncoordinated, they don't communicate amongst each other and they argue with customers on issues they created to begin with. The staff is creating a circus show and blaming it on their very own customers. Ridiculous!!! Very hostile work environment, pharmacists lashing out at customers which is very poor quality customer service and to think, all of their business is coming from the elderly people who live across the street. Not a smart move as they can go up the street to another location, which I've already directed a few after these past experiences I've witnessed. Just one of these issues would lead to being written up and then terminated, if it happened again. If I was this business owner, I would be very concerned and cautious about these valid reviews and complaints at hand towards the Pharmacy Dept. This would not be tolerated or acceptable at any work place and or business for that matter.
