I love my girl Heather. I need to say that first off. She's ALWAYS helpful smiling and if a problem it's addressed with "let me see what I can do". Medicare has A new program launched this year 2025. It was announced with our insurance AND CVS via an actual mailer. It's an equal monthly payment plan, allowing your yearly out of pocket expense to be spread out over the calendar year. CVS pharmacy had no idea what I was talking about. Which would be ok EXCEPT the guy at the drive thru window said "I don't know what your talking about"..your medication cost today is 650.00. I repeated myself. Again, he repeated himself. Meanwhile one of my doc friends is listening to this whole conversation in the car from my phone. He said there should have been an offer on HIS END to have me come in to resolve it, but There was no offer of, "hey come inside and let's make some calls and figure this out". He repeated himself again and it was 650.00 or no meds. I'm Like here we go. BAD SERVICE. I'm now pissed. NOT because he didn't know what I am talking about. It's a NEW program, I am sure it's confusing. I'm PISSED because he makes no offer or attempt to TRY and resolve the situation. I had NO ISSUE coming in. BUT if I didn't call Aetna or CVS corporate, he was not going too. I could have came in there and sat and he would have looked at me like what "am I going to do" to resolve HIS billing issue. So I CALL AETNA, they put me on hold and they call him. She explains to him yes that this is a new program etc. They override the bill and give me the meds etc. he proceeds to tell me that he has worked at CVS for 11 years and he has never heard of this before. He's got an attitude and SO DO I. Because he's MISSING THE POINT. It is HIS JOB to figure this out, and offer a solution to resolve the situation. The lack of customer service is MIND BLOWING. He KNEW he SHOULD have said, come in and let's call your insurance etc WHATEVER. But that is not the case. Instead I AM arguing looking like an asshole because he cannot figure out the reason I'm PISSED OFF. It is NOT the billing problem. It's the lack of initiative to figure it out!!! GOT DAMMIT, I know you process a ton of orders a day. But don't forget there is a reason behind that. We are PEOPLE who need this stuff and would appreciate a little understanding. I ended this yelling match with you know, what would you have me do...just pay it? Don't ask? Don't inquire? HE SAID I'm going to continue to have this same problem everytime I come in to get meds because they don't know what I'm talking about AND HE says it with an attitude!!! NOW I AM FUMING. DUDEEEEEE how about I AM SORRY FOR THE CONFUSUON, WE WILL WORK ON RESOLVING THIS BECAUSE IT IS NEW AND I STILL AM NOT SURE WHAT THIS IS. HOPEFULLY IT WONT HAPPEN AGAIN. I REMIND HIM THIS IS A CMS INITIATIVE AND TO LOOK IT UP! Call your corporate and ask them. WHY AM I TRYING TO RESOLVE YOUR BILLING ISSUE!? I am not going to be the only customer using this service. So get yourself comfortable with it. I get so angry at the stupidity of people and the lack of action to fix a problem. It makes it worse because I'm a nurse. If someone Said to me "hi can I have some pain medication", and maybe it's to early for them to have it.. I would NEVER EVER answer with "it's not time yet". And walk away. I would attempt to resolve the issue. Can I change your position while you have to wait this out? Can I try and make you more comfortable? Maybe I can ask the doctor and go over your meds and see if we can do something for this breakthrough pain your having. Give me a minute. See how that changes the whole dynamic. That person isn't going to trip on me. I will offer CUSTOMER SERVICE. Because I'm doing something about it. They need to teach this skill to people at the counters. Stick a fork in me, I'm done. My doc friend overhearing this always tells me and his clients to go to a mom and pops pharmacy. I think after this I am going to start to look for one. read more

Called 3x trying to find out if new Insurance was accepted. The CVS, AI system is TERRIBLE. Called a 4th time to attempt to refill scripts, AI responds "there are no prescriptions with those numbers on file." I went in to CVS around Jan 20, 2026. Attempted to convey my issue to the IDIOT at "Drop off". She decided she'd out talk me, & not let me speak. Then proceeded to tell me that I didn't know how to work their system. I showed her the CVS email that was sent to me stating "we'll look into it and get back to you". She Still continued to "Out Talk" me. And suggested Twice that I'm more than welcome to take my business to Walgreens. This CVS is 5 min away, I've given this store all kinds of business for 10+ years. Now I will only come pick up my meds (that have a zero Co-pay) And I won't spend another DIME in this store! I am a fourth generation AA, and if you don't like my brown skin, then You Leave. The absolute worst service. Once the pharmacist Venus left, this place went downhill. They can have 6 plus staff working and make no acknowledgment to the customers in line what so ever. Brittney the new pharmacist lies to customers and her regional manager Chris S (he asked if I was threatening him as soon as I said lawyer because I added my lawyer is also US military who advocates for the healthcare of ALL VETERANS). Hhmmm makes you wonder They are all pharmacists managing the pharmacy he admitted they have little to no customer service training. You think CVS corporate would put customer service above all else with their billion dollar profits. Basically the customer does NOT MATTER at all. I transferred all my scrips to Alto down on Pilot road who are also open on Sundays. I will gladly move my business where I am valued. You should promote Venus to the top to train everyone, she had it down and no one even needed to train her. Or for god sakes have a customer service ambassador at the front of the pharmacy managing personnel and customers because THEY HAVE NO CLUE what they are doing. FYI The speaker box on the outside lane doesn't work. Brittney refused to help me from the outside lane for a pick up, she told me it's for drop offs only - she had to yell over the inside lane car to communicate with me. This is after I waited over 10 minutes for the car in the other lane to be processed so I figured I would change lanes because something was obviously wrong with their transaction. Then I proceeded inside the store just to now find I am 3rd in line. I waved at the 6 plus personnel saying I moved from outside could someone please help me. No eye contact or acknowledgment was made by any of the 6 plus staff members nor Brittney the one who refused to help me from the outside lane. Finally when I was 2nd in line I made eye contact with the African American gentleman who was helping the 3rd car that would have been behind me and I stated I was in line outside already and needed to be helped. He said you'll be helped and continue to ignore me. Finally when there was no one else to help I was helped by him. I said I didn't appreciate having to go through 3 lines to get helped. He said nothing. I wound up vomiting my medication due to the stress of the entire situation and now needed to go through incompetent folks to have it refilled again. The whole experience just shows you where there priorities are (not customers) all the way from the drive thru to the Pharmacy manager Brittney to the regional manager Chris S what a joke. I use this exclusively because of the pharmacy staff. all of them are helpful but especially the head pharmacist Venus. I absolutely hate all of the CVS sale policies to have coupons and use phones and every other little thing. However Jeff at the front counter is unfailingly so helpful that I have come to not dread every visit there. Again if it weren't for Venus I wouldn't be going to this place at all. However Jeff has made it palatable in the front as well as Venus in the pharmacy. My rating would be 1 star for CVS store policies and high prices. I'm gna give 3 stars but I really would like half stars as an option bc If it was I'd give 2.5 stars. I've gotten medicine from this place many times, I've shopped here 4 minor things also. Every time I've shopped here the employees are polite & helpful. However, when it comes 2 the staff working on the PHARMACY side-it's a coin toss. U have some pharmacy workers are very polite & efficient @ doing their job. Then u have others who are the opposite. Let's just leave it @ that. The main thing I find very bothersome is when I get medicine & see others getting their medicine. I feel all medicine should be bagged. Not just handed over from shelf to customer. Don't ask the customer if they want their medicine in a bag, just put it in a bag. That gives a level of privacy & all pharmacy workers should know this. read more

Pharmacist is very arrogant and ignores doctors orders. Wife had a prescription for Drug A, was replaced with Drug B. Pharmacist refuses to fill the script because she recently filled one for Drug A and feels she shouldn't be on both. Even though Drug B is a replacement. They even contacted the Dr about this and they still were not satisfied. Been 2 weeks now without the new drug. Moving all of our business to Walgreens. Pharmacy also failed to inform her why the script wasn't being filled so we thought it was an insurance issue. Called insurance Co. and they confirmed script is valid and fillable and not being stopped by the ins. co. It wasn't until the 3rd trip (and after being confronted by facts) that they came up with this bullshit story about needed to contact the Dr yet again. read more

I work by this cvs and I shop here daily. Probably for the last 4 years. The staff is always friendly and the store is always stocked with the item I need. The only thing I dont like is that the prices are kinda high....the price of fast shopping. Still never the less its a nice place and always clean. I used this CVS for my passport picture. I turned it in and after waiting two months to get the passport the government rejected the picture saying it didn't meet the requirements. Now I have to go somewhere else and get another picture. This has held up my travels for who knows how many more weeks or months. Do not use them for passport pictures! Used to shop this CVS almost everyday when I lived just a couple of footsteps away. The supervisor that was there, Lisa, was really cool and like a friend. Not certain she is still there. The rest of the staff is pretty cool too. Store is always clean and neat and they typically have some of the best fire sales outside of grocery stores and liquor stores. When I lived out here two years ago, they did have a reputation of hiring some seedy folks. Had one, I'm pretty certain, steal my debit card number and my niece and sister both told stories of checkers offering you everything you were buying for free if you'd slip them a $20 spot. Outside of that, I like the honest employees and the convenience of being of walking distance when I lived out here. read more

The pharmacists are sooo helpful, if you need something general not doctor prescribed they actually not just tell you which aisle but comes out of the pharmacy to show you and explain what is what! I have been using CVS for over 10 years and will never step foot in this pharmacy again. I can only hope the pharmacists start receiving proper training on how to speak to patients. This was one of the worst interactions I've ever had with employees of ANY establishment; desperately trying to make people who are supposed to be helping me understand the severity and delicacy of mental health, and the response I receive is an excuse for the staff and candidly joking about suicide. I usually go to Walgreens but I was near this CVS today and I decided to go in. They had the things I needed and prices are comparable. I had to wait a few minutes in the cosmetic department but it seemed they might have been short staffed (it happens) no big deal. The gentleman that helped me appeared to be a manager (if he's not, he should be) he was so nice! I will actually be calling the store tomorrow morning but I am so upset, I've been doing this for years, why is this happening? I get the product with a 3 month refill, so in February I moved and I haven't switched stores yet so I had to drive back to the location on sunset and Whitney ranch. I go pick up my order, I notice it was only one box, th attendant reassured me that it was everything I look at see the box as usual, then go home. I get home and a box is missing (it's usually 3 boxes in one large box) not a problem, I inform the store and go back to pick up the additional box. 1st month passes, now I'm on my second month, I go into the second box- not the one that is a separate order, and it is EMPTY, are you kidding me?! I went in to the store to purchase the coke products on sale 3/$12. Located in the center aisle on pallet were the coke/sprite/dr. pepper with the sign 3/$12.. I picked up 2 cokes 1 dr.pepper and proceeded to the check out. the attendant informed me that the dr. pepper was not part of the deal. when mgr. called to front this suppose to be mgr. informed me that dr. pepper wasn't part of it. Today I was compelled to write a review on behalf of one of the most attentive cashiers I have ever seen. For 3 years he has been extremely informative with how to use coupons and ways to save. I admit sometimes he used to take too long with each customer and have a line. but today I was approaching the front with my items and I noticed the tables usually there for social distancing were gone, and as he attempted to replace a table to distance the register, I could here a female woman yelling for him 'not' to put up a table. He didn't yell back but attempted to defend that he was given different instructions on the matter and felt it was more comfortable for him and the customer. I let him know while I was making my purchase that I was proud of him standing up for his own safety and others. He had a right to protect with just a table. I was appaulled that a co worker with a bullying attitude would even suggest he was in error. I had on gloves and a mask, however I didn't see the woman who spoke she was behind an isle not far from cosmetics. I told him to keep protecting people because we all need to feel safe. There was only one patron behind me 6 ft at least not wearing a mask. I glanced at her and felt no shame to give him my approval, case and point she was not masked or gloved.
