My experience and rating is based on the corporate decision to use a poor quality AI program to answer phones. To ask a simple question requires going through an AI that can't actually connect you to the pharmacist, can do anything if you are not already a customer on fileb(birthday validation) and always just let's you leave a voicemail after all that nonsense. I'll go elsewhere where Im appreciated as a customer and patient. read more

My wife and I have been dealing with CVS Pharmacy for 20+ years but this was one of the few occasions I've been in this particular CVS. I last reviewed this location in December 2023 and this is the first time I've been back since then. Not bad, always oddly quiet in here. Kinda gives school library vibes. I thought I was getting a deal by shopping there but everything is way more expensive. You're better off going to Walmart or dollar general honestly. Staff aren't mean but they aren't really friendly either. There's a couple staff members who are pretty nice, but most everyone seems like they don't wanna be there. I think if I signed up for their rewards maybe things would be cheaper but I didn't like shopping there enough to want to sign up for rewards I really only go in a pinch. read more

How to review a store when some negatives are out of the store's control. I live on the East Side and wanted a cheap beauty tool that only this store and Sawmill MIGHT have. I say "might" because far too many times, in far too many cities, something I wanted was "in stock," but never was. Generally, I find the CVS website to be inaccurate, but that's not the store's fault. The second negative is the very busy location, particularly if you need to cross a few lanes to get into the correct lane for 270. On a positive note, they did have what I wanted, but it was locked. No one was at the register, so I had to search for an employee. I wish they had a buzzer. The employee was helpful and friendly. Self checkout mostly worked, except a digital coupon required me to insert the coupon into the slot. Now, how can I do that? Once again, the friendly employee to the rescue. Overall, I am positive towards this store. But the big wigs at Corporate really ought to shop their stores. When I can't see if their store has what I want at a price I want, it drives me to shop at Costco or Amazon. Plus, 20% off a single regular price item? Give me a break. Oftentimes, what I want is priced at least 50% higher. But again, what I don't like isn't under the store's control except having easily located employees. read more

I thought I had already reviewed this. In fact, I'm sure I have. Oh, well. Went again today, because they had some meds another CVS didn't. Staff were helpful. They were swamped, though. Got most of what we needed, but their system is wonky and medical details, addresses, etc., are often messed up. The stores' computers don't talk to each other very well. So: be prepared for mistakes, and be prepared to wait. CVS in general is okay for prescriptions, pricey for anything else. They will print out half a tree worth of coupons so it looks like you can get a deal, but I never get to actually use them, and hate their regular prices. And the way the receipts fill up my wallet. Selection in the store is okay; you can get basics. Lots of Christmas stuff still there, surprisingly not on sale. read more

This is truly one of the worst customer experiences I've ever had. I tried to transfer my prescriptions to the CVS when I moved into Westerville for three weeks. Every time I would call them they would say they had no record of me attempting to this transfer even though I did it online and in person with the pharmacist. And my old pharmacy had already done the transfer on their end so I could not get my prescriptions filled. And I ended up having a lapse in my medication that is vital to my health. Made appointment for minute clinic and waited 40 minutes before walking out as I was leaving she said it would be only 10 more minutes. This is not the level of service I'm use to. If you have to use the minute clinic don't go here unless you have a lot of time to wait. read more

Yes. It is an extremely busy location. But that makes me even more impressed that the pharmacy staff (including the pharmacists) always present a cheerful, helpful attitude. I wish I could call her out by name--the staffer that helped me yesterday was so friendly to everyone I walked out smiling. read more

I have been coming to this CVS for years. The people at the front are always very friendly. I just had a very negative experience with a pharmacy technician. She wouldn't make eye contact as she stood in front of me on the computer, so I said hello. She then said "I'll be with you In a minute" without looking at me. I then asked her if she was having a rough day and she still didn't make eye contact and said no. This is poor customer service and it's surprising that she can keep a customer service job. On another note, the pharmacist just displayed incredible patience with a complaining customer that was venting about many things that were outside of her control. Well done! read more

Do not send your medication here. They either don't answer the phone or place you on hold forever . I asked my husband to call this location when i was in New Albany ( about 10 miles away ). I asked him to call due to them not supplying my medication that is going to run out in 3 days . By the time i got home ( around the corner from this pharmacy) he was still on hold with them!!!! I told him to just hang up at this point . I tried to call again today , just kept ringing and ringing ! It's almost 10pm, how busy could it be ??? I'm ready to switch pharmacies !! read more

The pharmacy has terrible customer service. Whenever I call to speak to someone, I'm put on hold for a very long time, and no one will pick up. Once I was on hold for so long, I drove to the store to speak to someone in person, and when I arrived there were multiple workers in the pharmacy, and two of them were chatting and sharing photos on their phone as their phone continued to ring. I was clearly upset, so I let them and the manager know. Since then whenever I call back, nothing has changed. Very disappointing. They can do much better. read more

Waited in line for 30+ mins at the pharmacy drive thru to be told it would be another 45 mins for them to fill my prescriptions because they "already received it but haven't started working on it yet." I am very displeased with the amount of time this took and that they had not even begun working on my prescriptions over an hour after receiving them. I went inside to get in line in there and was rudely told to exit the line before it was even my turn at the counter since mine was not ready yet. This CVS is the absolute worse pharmacy in the Tristate area! If I could give a negative rating, I definitely would ! I went there tonight to get my daughter's Zofran because she had been vomiting and having diarrhea all day long , and then we spent about four and a half hours at Urgent Care because they didn't know what was wrong with her . So I go to Kroger to get the groceries that I need for her diet , so I could give the pharmacy enough time to fill the prescription . Well once I got there I was told the prescription was not ready and to pour on the building and get back in line and it would be ready . Well we spent another 30 minutes in the line and approached the window again and I was told that the prescription was still take another 20 to 30 minutes , and I should pull around and wait another 20 to 30 minutes . Or I had the option to bring my sick daughter into CVS that was full of people and take the chance of my daughter vomiting on someone or having diarrhea all over the place . Then I was told to move my car so they can wait on the other people that were piling up behind me . I looked the worker in the face and I said who's to say that their prescriptions are ready too . And the woman if CVS said well we've had scripts here ready for 3 weeks for some people . In response I told her well if you got the scripts already on time while people are here or when they're told they're ready to pick up then maybe you're the scripts wouldn't be sitting at your place for 3 weeks ! Before I left I give that woman a hard way to go . And now I really don't care about anything right now all I know is that I was tired it was damn near 8:30 p.m. I was hungry and cranky and my autistic daughter was breaking down because her stomach was starting to hurt again . read more

I typically use this minute clinic to get treated for UTI's because I get them frequently and this is the closest to me. However, this time i had an appointment scheduled for 10:00am that I checked in for at 9:53am. I waited until 10:45am before I was called in for an appointment scheduled at 10:00am. I had given my urine sample and stated that I did not want it sent out for a culture because last time I had one sent out it cost me $100 and they ended up calling me and telling me they could not do the culture because my result had been contaminated. So, for that reason I chose to not have one sent out. The nurse informed me of why they sent them out and I stated again that I did not want mine sent out because I did not want to pay $100 to not get any further clarification. She then gave me more reasons why they send cultures, and I stated, yet again, that I did not want to send a culture out. She stared at me for 10 seconds saying nothing, then stated they send them to give their patients the best care they can to treat them properly. I stated that unless it was 100% required for them to treat me that I did not want to send one out. She tried to tell me that it was medically required, but I have been treated before without having a culture sent out. I was extremely uncomfortable and felt like I was being badgered to do something that I had stated multiple times I did not want to do. It was extremely unprofessional. read more
