Great location. I didn't use to go into cvs that much for some reason before I moved to California. But this store is close and Inpass it often. I noticed that they always have great deals and are very well stocked. Great personnel that are very friendly. I come here for all kinds of stuff but Mai Lu to their pharmacy and to buy snacks!! Definitely recommend.

This CVS Pharmacy in Long Beach is my favorite. It is conveniently located on 2nd and PCH. Plenty of parking. Next to Gelson's market and Whole foods market across the street, Trader Joes, In N Out and a Gas Station. I often pick up my parents's medications and Everyone is always so friendly and helpful. They always ask about my parents. It also seems to be one of the larger CVS stores in the area. So, they have a lot to offer. I recommend this CVS store and Pharmacy.

Large one-floor CVS, selling pretty much everything a drugstore sells these days. My wife loves using the CVS app to see which stores have which products, and for the most part, the inventory levels displayed on the app is relatively accurate. We found what we needed (locked up). One thing to mention is that when we rang the bell to ask for assistance, two different employees came within seconds to help us. This is very different than the other CVSs in LBC where you have to be patient and ring the bell multiple times to get assistance. Also noticed that this store has a Citibank ATM located inside...I don't think all CVS has that. CVS has a very robust Point of Sale system, always accurate in giving out the right discounts and coupons, even for self-check out. I think this is the reason why my wife loves it so much...if you put in the effort to use the right digital coupons, it works out well. She ended up reducing the price of our one item by 65% after all the coupons stacked. One negative note: we used our Citibank credit card which earns you Citi Thank You Points...interestingly, after we scanned our card to pay, it asked a simple Y/N question if we wanted to use 1,250 points to get $10 off our purchase. Now, that's impressive in how they are able to connect these systems together to communicate in real time. Unfortunately, this is a horrible exchange rate (less than a penny a point), and an instance where better technology/connectivity can actually harm the consumer.

Stop by to get a baby shower gift. The store was organized and nice. The gentleman that rang me up was nice as well. Free ample parking.

Why do they feel the need to shove their religion down my throat?

    How to schedule flu shot?

Just walk in. I never had to make an appointment ahead of time. I walked into CVS and a nice worker filled out a form for me.

What time does your pharmacy close?

According to the CVS website, the pharmacy closes at 8 PM on weekdays and 6 PM on weekends. The store itself closes at 10 PM daily. Keep in mind the pharmacy is also closed from 1:30 to 2 PM daily for lunch

I liked this CVS…read more It's clean, organized, well stocked and near the pier in Seal Beach. I don't know what more anyone can want from a CVS? I gave the man at the register a coupon for a free item the manufacture sent me to replace a bad one. He worked on this coupon for what seemed like 20 minutes trying to get the machine to take it. He kept on scanning it over and over--tried a different register--he was so frustrated but kept on trying different ideas to get it to work. I think in the end--he just said, "get out of here--just take it." I liked that he did not give up--he fought the good fight with the coupon. Free and easy parking. Go on over to the Seal Beach Pier and relax after you are done here.

On June 17, 2026, at around 4 or 4:30 pm the CVS Seal Beach location, I experienced verbal…read moreaggression, unprofessional conduct, and discriminatory treatment from the Photo Department Manager, Shaun S. His behavior escalated to the point where he yelled at me, pointed his finger at me, refused service, and ordered me to leave the store. Detailed Account of What Happened I visited the store for the third time to resolve issues with a photo order that had repeatedly been produced incorrectly. I also came to ask to print again a poster order that arrived without the adhesive backing required to mount it. When I approached the photo counter, Shaun asked for my last name. While he searched the system, I tried to locate the order on my phone, but the reception was poor. In a calm tone, I mentioned--using my usual affectionate language such as "sweetie"--that perhaps the team needed better training to avoid repeated mistakes with this product. Escalation by the Photo Manager Shaun became visibly impatient and told me harshly that he could not find the order and that I should reorder it. When I pointed out his tone, he raised his voice even more, insisting he was not being harsh. He then yelled to another employee to take over because he was "done with me," and he slammed the gate as he left the counter area. As a Latina woman, being yelled at by a man is culturally understood as verbal aggression. I stated that, while this behavior may be (I emphasize, may be) acceptable in his culture, it is considered unacceptable toward a woman in my culture. Aggressive Behavior Continues Shaun returned even more furious. He harshly ordered his employee to stop helping me, and then yelled at me to leave the store, effectively kicking me out. While the store manager, Nikki, was present, Shaun continued yelling across the counter, calling me a liar and making other comments I cannot fully recall due to the intensity of the situation. At one point, he moved closer behind the counter, pointing his finger at me repeatedly while yelling. Nikki attempted to calm him, but he did not listen to her. Cultural Context Nikki said I should not have mentioned "his culture." I explained to Nikki that in my culture, men yelling at women, pointing fingers, and speaking aggressively is considered verbal abuse, and I would not tolerate it. My comment about "his culture" was in the context of explaining why his behavior was especially offensive and unacceptable to me. I told her it felt like she was siding with the employee rather than the customer, and she responded that she stands by her employees. End of the Interaction Nikki advised me to reorder the poster at another location. I began walking toward the exit, but I firmly stated that Shaun lacked manners and basic customer service skills. He continued yelling sarcastically, repeating "God bless you" in a mocking tone. She once again attempted to calm him down; however, he clearly did not respect her, as he continued yelling at me and ignored her request to stop his behavior. Summary of Misconduct 1) Verbal aggression and yelling 2) Refusal of service 3) Ordering a customer to leave the store 4) Finger-pointing and intimidating body language 5) Hostile escalation instead of problem-solving 6) Failure of the store manager to protect the customer or de-escalate effectively Why This Matters This was neither a misunderstanding nor a difference in cultural perspectives. It was unprofessional, hostile, and discriminatory behavior from an employee in a position of authority. No customer should be treated this way, and no woman should be yelled at or intimidated by a male manager in a public business.

They have a drive through for pharmacy, but I was picking up a few household items I had ordered on the app with my reward points. The store is clean and easy to shop, smaller than some of the other stores, and they sometimes are out of itemsI want, but pickup at the counter is very easy. They always seem to have enough staff for the checkout line, and they are friendly and efficient. In-store pharmacy, though, is always busy with a wait. There are always good sales and digital coupons, and in general with CVS I earn discounts for getting prescriptions

Review is for the pharmacy. They don't even deserve 1 star. I would give them a negative 10 stars…read moreif I could. DO NOT TRANSFER YOUR PRESCRIPTIONS HERE!!! They are absolutely horrible. Like legitimately the absolute worst CVS. Like all other CVS pharmacies, they suck, but this one is probably the worst pharmacy amongst all the them. And the one inside Target is pretty bad too. But not worse than this one!! I chose this pharmacy because they're 24 hrs and have a drive thru as well as being close to where I live. Had I known what a sh*tsh*w it was here I'd would have never switched pharmacies. They are SUPER JUDGMENTAL if you have pain meds. They automatically treat you like some junkie degenerate. Even though I've had multiple failed spinal surgeries (the last one being a spinal fusion) , a seriously painful autoimmune condition that affects all my joints and severe chronic pain to where some days I can't even get out of bed, walk or dress myself without help. And I've already exhausted all my surgical and non surgical options. Like what am I supposed to do? Do they need me to bring my medical history in order to justify why I need these medications. What do they need? Call with my surgeon? All my X-rays, MRIs, a copy of my medical and surgical history??? All of this hassle for freaking Tylenol with codeine!!! They used to give you that for tooth pain and I'm here trying to get by on taking it for pain that would send most people to the ER. You would think I'm asking for fentanyl with the way they treat me. I don't know what I can do to make these people stop treating me like lesser than a human being because I need these medications. I wish I didn't need them. Who wants to go through this hassle every month. Oh my Lord, don't even try to travel and need your medications early. I had to travel 1 time and got my script 4 days early and months later I'm still paying the price for it. They also arbitrarily choose when your prescription will be due. Their policy is every 28 days, you can pick up your prescription. However, they will choose your pick up date based on whatever they feel like that day. Or if the pharmacist doesn't want to fill it they'll just change the pickup date so it's the next pharmacist's responsibility. They'll either make you pick it up anywhere from day 28, 29, 30 or even day 31. They used to let me pick it up every 28 days but now all of a sudden they're making me pick it up day 31 for the month of July. They won't give me an explanation as to why the pick date constantly changes. When I do ask, they automatically make me feel like they've labelled me as a "drug seeker". Every pharmacist will give me a different answer to when I can pick it up. One pharmacist said I can pick it up day 28 and changed it to automatically fill on day 28. Then another pharmacist who I'm assuming was supposed to fill it that day, changed it again to day 30. It's like they're all passing the buck to the next pharmacist because they don't want to fill pain meds. Meanwhile patients are getting screwed. Do you think they care? Nope. In the month of May, I picked my script up day 28, then in June they made me pick it up day 30 and now in July, they're saying I can pick it up the earliest day 31. I don't care when I can pick it up if it's between day 28-30. Just choose a freaking time frame so I know when to expect to fill it. Except for Day 31. I don't want to be completely out of my medication before I can even get my new prescription. It's freaking ridiculous and so frustrating. If you ask why they constantly change pick up dates they don't give you a clear answer. They mumble some bs "well you picked up day 28, 2 months ago so it's cumulative days so now you've got to pick it up day 30" What??!!!? How does that even make sense. Then just don't give it to me day 28 one month and day 30 arbitrarily 2 months later. Just pick a goddamn date and stick to it. Then of course by even asking you've given them more reason to label you a "drug seeker". I AM seeking my medications! I freaking need them to survive day to day in order to manage my pain. Even though it doesn't control my pain entirely, I have no choice but to take these prescriptions. I'm severely limited on I can take due to GI issues. So this is the only thing I can take and they're making it so difficult every freaking month. Literally every freaking month I have anxiety going to the pharmacy wondering what kind of BS they're going to pull in order not to fill my Rx. This is flat out discrimination and should be illegal. Also their medications are trash quality. CVS will literally purchase the cheapest, least effective medications, and pass it off to the customer. All while making you feel like you should be so thankful you're even getting your medication this month.
