It took over an hour to fill 3 of the 4 (which the doctor called in previously) while my son was waiting in the car with his dad. Really really really really big CVS. Or I'm just accustomed to San Francisco sized stores. Any bigger and you can start charging people a membership card and sell hot dog/soda combos for $1.50 I needed sunscreen. There was sunscreen in 3 different areas. I wanted snacks. There were snacks on every other aisle I think. I needed to check out. There were about 6 checkout counters. Great location, plenty of parking. A 5 star CVS. A rare find for me. read more

Pretty impressed with this CVS. Plenty of parking, beautiful storefront, organized, and right next to Gelson. Walking in, a worker stopped to ask me if I needed help finding anything, and then proceeded to walk with me to direct me to the index cards I desperately needed. Unfortunately, I didn't like the brand of index cards they were selling, or the size (I'm reeeeallly picky with the school supplies I buy). I ended up buying a little notebook to substitute for index cards instead. There were two people in front of my at check-out, and one of the cashiers quickly called for extra assistance with another cashier. Love it! read more

The main pharmacist Dr. Wu Nguyen is a terrible pharmacist. I suffer from severe depression and anxiety and stage IV Lung Cancer. I follow all protocols that my doctor prescribes. Dr. Nguyen makes up things to withhold my prescriptions. I've had to get into major arguments w him. He lies about dates to try to make me seem wrong. I've seen many reviews about how poor he is to others below. I'm going to reach out to corporate to file a verbal and written complaint about the way he is running this pharmacy. I have been a loyal client here and it's the closest to my home. I hope I don't have to move all my medication due to the negligence of Mr. Nguyen. He is very disrespectful and dishonest and is upsetting the community. read more

I doubt a lot of people make decisions on where to fill their prescriptions, but for those of you that care, don't go to cvs. Specifically, this CVS. Although, I recommended not testing the incompetencies of the organization, as a whole. I've literally pleaded with multiple pharmacy managers, and "acting pharmacy managers" to have my monthly (for years) medication ready. They got it right about 3 months out of the year, without exaggeration. The final (most recent) resolution was to have my doctor send it electronically so they can have it ordered. Today is 4/10. My doctor sent my script electronically on 3/18. The staff is so rude. I spoke to Sarah today - that person wasn't able to follow along past name and date of birth. Unfortunately, it took longer than necessary to ask me to repeat myself - only due to her lack of listening with comprehension skills. And no, this wasn't a layer of confirmation. THEN, I passed to the "acting pharmacist" -- "acting pharmacist" is the most apt way to describe him. Not only was I passed to Cory, he had no interest in observing HIPAA compliance. He and Sarah were shouting across the pharmacy to each other. She tells him (insert my name) needs to learn how to speak to people. This was only after he jumped on the phone and started explaining his failings --- except he had the wrong medication. Ironically, a medication I do not take. Dealing with people that are incapable of doing their jobs is painful. It's like working with people that are lazy. Remember people, they hold your life in their hands. I've been without medication for days ... with no end in sight. Keep in mind, it was confirmed this has nothing to do with distribution issues during this pandemic. It has everything to do with this organization not caring whether or not you have what you need to live, die, or get through the day. It's saddening and disheartening, simultaneously. When did Pharmacists and pharmacy staff stop wanting to keep us healthy. It's too bad - they have the ability to make life better. Here I am writing a review about how they continue creating adverse health effects. Don't worry - I'm taking to social media, corporate, and any other outlet I can find to make my point that I care about my health...and don't appreciate CVS pharmacy putting that at risk over and over and over again. PLEASE READ - YOUR HEALTH IS AT RISK: Avoid filling your prescriptions here at all costs. I have been a medical advocate for 20+ years and have worked with numerous pharmacies and doctors and I can count on one hand how many obsencenly horrible experiences including this pharmacy's service. We have reported to numerous employees, pharmacists, manager the lack of efficient, courteous service here and NO ONE has provided any solutions. We have approached this calmly and have not write a review trying to give the benefit of the doubt. There is lack of communication through the app and no text and phone calls. Letting extremely important prescriptions on back order lapse into expiration. Multiple different excuses as to why this has occurred and none offering a resolution. Numerous other prescriptions getting held up without phone calls or texts as to why. If I could I would give zero stars. I've never come across more rude, inconsiderate and controlling pharmacists than the ones at this location. To start off, they never answer their phone. I waited on hold for 20 minute at a time for over 90 minutes, and not a single person answered to even put me on hold. I finally called the front asking if the pharmacy was either closed, busy, or no one available to answer phone calls. She assured me they were there with not many waiting, and that I would be transferred over while she would also inform them someone was waiting to be answered....STILL nothing. I had just had a procedure and was unable to go into the pharmacy to wait. I had to send my husband in to request my refill and wait. I had been visiting this pharmacy monthly for 4 years until the manager, Rose, who I believe is still is the acting manager despite taking a leave of absence at one point came on board. She is the most impolite, controlling and inconsiderate pharmacist I have ever met. The fact that she hasn't had her license revoked yet is astonishing. Every single month I was greeted with the worst attitude and arrogance. She has control issues when it comes to medications and thinks she is above doctors. It's truly laughable. I finally had to call corporate in which her own boss gave me her direct number to call if I ever had issues arise with her again. Lo and behold, I did. It got so bad after trying for three months that I had to take my business elsewhere and never come back. This woman will not keep her job if she continues to discriminate and treat patients like she does, and upon reading other reviews it seems as though this pharmacy still has a reputation for treating patients poorly CVS needs to do better. If this reaches at least one person, I advise you to go elsewhere. read more

I never thought I would review a CVS. But the pharmacist here just saved me $125 and two additional CVS visits by signing me up for this membership for people who don't have health insurance. I was totally prepared to pay $50 for one month of meds but without my asking, he looked into it and I was able to get three months for $25. The CVS I usually go to offered nothing like this. This is just go the pharmacy. Unfortunately I had to switch to CVS because of my insurance. So disappointed with this pharmacy. Just do not get the service I used to get at Rite aid. They just are not efficient. The one woman named Joy is so slow and rude to people. The other girls are much more friendly. I hate to call people out....but I just can't take it anymore!!! I came to the store tonight and brought two items to the counter. I laid cash on the counter for the items I intended to purchase. I don't have a CVS card so when they rang up the price for those items it was 25% higher than if I had one of their cards. So, I said, 'no I won't buy these at that price'. Then I left (without the items and without the CASH I left on the counter). Yes, it was my mistake to leave the cash there, but NO ONE (and there were two clerks behind the counter) called this to my attention. Really? No one says, Oh, excuse me, you just left cash on the counter for something you did not buy? Terrible customer service/dishonesty among counter staff. I don't trust these clerks at all. It took 45 minutes for my instant printing because the employee working does not know how to work his machine and all he does is laugh and doesn't even apologize. This CVS is amazing....why? Because it's in a great location (NW corner of PCH and 2nd Street) and is BRAND NEW! Everything is nicely set up and there is plenty of aisle room to walk without feeling crowded. I guess you could consider this a 'Mega' CVS because they always have every item I need! I've been here several times and the pharmacy staff has always been very good to me. However, the other day, while waiting for a prescription with my daughter I made a few retail purchases. I am always very courteous to staff as a customer, but the the girl at the register was extremely rude. I watched the annoyed expression on her face as she helped several people in front of me and had to contain my frustration as she did it to me and then proceeded to text a friend with her iPhone on the counter as she waited 5 seconds for my card to process. A nice man with glasses offered to try, said he could fill it in ten minutes, and even took the time out to discuss my new medication. Typical CVS? Wrong. This place is so much bigger than other CVS'. There's many brands and selections and really the only negative thing I have to say about it is that the layout can get confusing. Like, some things can be hard to find because of how the store is organized. For example, multivitamins are in a separate aisle, on a different side, from the general vitamins. I spent a good 10 minutes looking through the general vitamins only to realize that the multivitamins were 2 aisles behind me. However, I guess I could just as easily have asked a store clerk. :-/ #FirstWorldProblems read more

I work for a dental office and called in today around 10:20. I was attempting to call in a prescription and the pharmacist wasn't there. The woman working back there was very rude and wouldn't take a message since I wasn't prompted to be able to leave a voicemail on the automated screen. I asked her what option I should press to do that and she said, "If you can't figure out how to do something simple like that, then I can't help you!" And rudely hung up. I attempted to call back and was told there were three people ahead and not even addressed in the phone where I sat waiting for ten mins. Finally called back and spoke with Jeff asking the name of the woman or a manger who works there. Was on hold for 5 mins before hanging up. Terrible customer service and efficiency at this pharmacy. Highly recommend looking elsewhere. I'm highly embarrassed for this establishment and won't be calling in patient prescriptions to this location any longer. read more

I have been going to this CVS pharmacy since it opened up. I have gone to many other CVS pharmacies and this is by far the best in service. I can't say enough about the incredible personalized service that I receive from Pharmacists, Quan and Paat. I suffer from chronic migraines and Mr. Quan and Mr. Paat always make sure that they help me obtain my medications which many times includes wrangling with insurance and my doctor offices. Anyone who has chronic medications knows that getting enough migraine medication is on ongoing challenge. Mr. Paat and Mr. Quan also have been angels when I have been sick and need a migraine pill urgently and my mother has to come into the pharmacy as soon as they open in the morning. Mr. Paat and Mr. Quan also helped me find rebates and coupon programs when I had to pay cash for my medications due to exceeding my monthly insurance allotment for the month. Thanks to the dedication and compassion of these two pharmacists at this CVS, I have been able to live a much happier and healthier life. read more
