*Optical department review * Overall my experiences at the optical department have been great. Recently i ordered glasses and turns out they were too heavy. They kept slipping down my nose and gave me headache from the weight on my ears. I had them adjusted 3 times . I was even given the suggestion to by eyeglass cushions to keep them from sliding and be more comfortable on my ears. They worked until the silicone dug into my ears. I went to return them and was told the manager wasn't there and I had to come when she was there . I went back a week later, tonight 7/22/26 and the manager wasn't there. I checked in before seeing the manager was there. When it was my turn, the same young lady that turned me away previously called my name, I told her, I was back and per her I needed to see the manager. The manager had a customer, She said she'd let the manager know I was waiting. My name was called again by Eddie. I told him I was waiting to see the manager , I was seated and he told me to come up and he could assist me. He was knowledgeable, Personable and kind. While he processed my refund we talked about the FIFA World Cup. He told me he's off tomorrow but my insurance would be contacted to process the return with them tomorrow 07/23/26, since it was after 5p. He did call the manager over for an approval, she greeted me and was very nice. I appreciate the customer service he provided me. My time wasn't wasted as it was previously. I was able to fuel up (no line), club run, and get a hotdog combo all in less then 40 minutes! I don't know why most are Executive members but glad more aren't as that 9a-10am hour is so nice! I can easily cruise down the aisles, no waiting trying to reach in for items inthe freezer or fridge sections. Just a pleasure. Check out lines are usually short or no lines too (usually just 1-2 availsplus self-heck)! It's already Halloween and Xmas at Costco. Every year seems like it's put earlier and earlier! I just left Costco in Signal Hill without getting the items that I had spent quite a bit of time finding and putting into my cart because a Costco employee came up to me while I was in line and asked if I wanted her to scan me out and I said sure. I asked her if I needed to pull over so we would be out of peoples way she said OK This ended up with me pulling out of the line and she didn't say anything. Turns out she was scanning and then expecting me to get right back in that line She said now when you get to the register they just have to scan your card and they can charge you only now there were four people with huge carts filled with items between me and where I was in line and I just was done. I started to cry, I felt so stupid. I'd already had someone cut in front of me while I was waiting in line and nobody helped me so I had to change lines already once. When I saw the same employee open another register and start checking people out without coming to find me (since she knew that if she hadn't pulled me out of mine I would have been checked out at that point ) I took my cart over to her checkout line and told her I was leaving. I was in tears I was so frustrated I spend over an hour and have no groceries There was literally no reason to have me leave the line I feel so stupid I'm sick to my stomach with frustration As a customer with ADHD and autism this is unacceptable I wanted to reach out to Costco management about what happened but they don't offer email support and I'm not calling them. read more

This is my local Costco location and least favorite. Parking here sucks especially here on the weekend. They have a good variety of Asian products and Korean skincare but other locations nearby have a better variety. Other products are well stocked and organized. I think this Costco is smaller than the one in Lakewood. Also have to be careful of your cart, it will roll away if you let go of it at the parking lot due to the hilly topography. read more

This i such a busy Costco and huge! I was able to find parking close to the entrance and already felt like a winner. I was here just to but toiletries but wanted to buy so much more. The summer goods are just coming out, such as watermelon, beach toys and BBQ goods. Something rather amazing was there were only two roasted chickens left when I got there and found that they were rather dry looking. Upon checkout, self-checkout is located almost next to the rear aisle, which is deceiving. Lines were at least 20 minutes long, but fortunately fplks at this Costco were civil and nice. Let me think... ok yes I really don't like this Costco. It feels like it's at its capacity every day, too much traffic for the parking and gas. The customer (cashier service) was off putting, The cashier had a bagger that ditched him and never came back, the cashier looked at me like it was now my job but didn't say anything so he got mad and started bagging my things begrudgingly. Costco is great on many levels, but it's also very busy and crowded most hours of the day. When it comes to buying in bulk at good prices, there is no denying this this the place to shop. There are also many items/brands hard to find elsewhere. The samples are definitely an attention grabber. It's often hard to try more than a couple samples as the really popular items are gone immediately as they are put out. Patience is definitely needed here. The rotational, seasonal items are awesome! Displays, items hanging from the ceiling, huge boxes overflowing, then a decent price point....I think it's safe to say I've walked out with many items I never planned to purchase initially. Crazy lines at all hours for the food court is visible once in the parking. Luckily, this isn't why I go to Costco. Parking is always busy unless you get there when they open. And lastly, as convenience goes, there is Costco gas on site. read more

I've been coming to this Costco as it's the closest one to me from Long Beach. Always very packed no matter what time of the day you go and the gasoline lines are always insane as well for a reason. I usually get gas here more than I actually shop. I've tried to find a good time to go for gasoline and it's always at night before closing. Also, parking here is also packed and crazy. As for the store itself, it's very standard compared to other locations. Has everything you need! I came here to renew and change my membership recently and I found the member service team to be very rude. I've been twice and all of them are the only ones in the store that look like they don't want to work and don't want to give you good answers. One of the female associates that starts with a G was in a terrible mood talking to me. I came back and Austin was very helpful and had better energy. I used to like this location but it seems to have gone downhill in customer service. The pharmacy witch, Ailene, is very rude. She talks right over you, and then gets even bitchier if you don't let her speak to you in rude manner (this was at 9:00 in the morning when the Executive members shop, so basically it was considered empty for Costco). She doesn't even acknowledge or look at you; so when she speaks, you have no idea who she is speaking to- the no eye contact is sus. Honey, don't take your personal problems out on the customers; it's not our fault that you have a miserable existence because you really need to work on that bitchiness. I pay good money to shop here, so Costco should really think about how their customer service is doing because it's crap right now. Went here to go shopping. All was providing my needs. Plenty of parking and nicely organized. Service was great. No complaints. My primary review is for the Costco Snack area. After shopping we were hungry. Ordered the Hotdog special and Salad. Not only is it easy to order but it is so convenient. Ordered from the Kiosk and our number was called 5-7 mins later. I can't emphasize how cheap the purchase are!. The prices have stayed the same for over 30 years that I know of. Hotdogs was delicious and the Salad was fresh and tasty. No matter how much inflation has gone up, the prices has remained the same! Of course so far. Lol No Other place you can get this type of deal or special. Very disappointed with my experience as a new Costco member. I signed up because of a $40 gift card promotion and was told it would take 2 weeks. It's now been over a month and I still haven't received anything. I've gone in person and called multiple times, and I keep getting the same generic response with no real help. Of course, I had to stop by for some late lunch at the food court- a slice of pepperoni and mocha freeze. I even ran into an old friend in line. I love it when that happens! Small town vibes hahahha. I need groceries as well but will shop for those items another day it was extremely crowded and I think arriving in the morning will be less crowded. Purchased two tires had to wait four days to get them in stock. I went to go get them installed and they flat out refused to do the work. I instructed them to do. They insisted on putting tires below the legal limit on the front drive tires and put the new tires on the trailing axle. They refused to follow the California vehicle, safety code title 13. my opinion for the reason why they do this they want you to wear out the other tires excessively fast so you're forced to buy tires sooner than you would normally have to. I've been a member of Costco for years. There are pros and cons when we make a visit. Lines are extremely long at checkout and searching for parking can be chaotic. Always busy which can cause a headache. Employees aren't as friendly as they used to be. They definitely seem unhappy working there. On the bright side, I love it when samples are given out during busy hours around lunch time. Sometimes we would walk out on a full stomach. There goes my free lunch. Items in big bulk are a lifesaver when feeding a family of four. Our fridge will be stocked for at least a month. Look for the deals! It surprises me when I need a particular item and it goes on sale. Sometimes they will have clothes on clearance as well for unbelievable prices. At one point I bought leggings for my daughter for $4.95 each. Can't beat that! They always have a great selection of everything. I love the food court with amazing prices for polish hot dogs, pizzas, sandwiches, salads, and milkshakes. Perfect to have lunch after shopping. This is one of the Costco locations that I try to avoid. If I'm in the area, looking for something that I can't find at other locations and/or my friends (who live near here) want to come to this location for some reason - then I will brace myself and come. Otherwise, I would rather avoid this location as much as possible. While the products inside are pretty much the same as other locations - the parking and customer service are subpar. Every single time I've come, parking is limited. I would usually have to ring around the parking lot at least once before finding a space, and even then - the parking is tight and there's always the danger of someone leaving their cart that runs into your car. I haven't had any big issues with the customer service here personally, but the staff never seems to be happy whenever I've asked them questions about where to find things or if I need to return something. Overall - just a location I'd recommend avoiding unless absolutely necessary. read more

We regularly shop in this location for the longest time since we live in the area and first time encountered a very rude and bad attitude towards a customer with the name of Kris in terminal 10 at 253 pm. Kris was scanning my items when some guy came over and talked to him and ask for a signature that seems to upset him. He went back to scanning my items and I simply reminded him about an item that he should include with that transaction. He gave me a mean look and told me with an attitude that he already know. It was just a simple friendly reminder for him not to make a mistake. I told Kris that he doesn't need to be rude and just letting him know and kept on repeating that I don't need to tell him because he already knew in a sarcastic way. I got upset myself since he won't stop talking back and told him that I will report him to a supervisor. He screamed out loud in front of all other customers calling a supervisor and saying that " there's a customer here who's cursing me out and wanted to speak to you" . L which I honestly said that you don't have to be a jerk. As the supervisor approached, he said a lot of bad things about me and making it sound like I started the issue and trying to blame it all on me. What a customer service and the audacity to blame others on his wrong doing. Kris seems to be in a wrong position and job being in customer service. Very condescending, impulsive and argumentative. He is not well mannered as well that will escalate any issue Into worse it can be. So disgusting employee and never felt humiliated as bad by Kris. This incident was reported at the same time to a supervisor that I believed her name is Marcy. Hoping that they will look into this and put Kris out in the front since he doesn't belong there. read more

Today, they have a KIOSK system at the door in able to get inside and you have to either walk in quickly or scan your card and I don't think that was a very good idea what so ever! That's going to drive away people. My mom has a Costco credit card and membership and I go with her! She gives me her card to get in or get gas! Now I have a Tesla I don't need gas but to walk in by myself let's say if I walk out and walk in they get an attitude! One of the biggest drawbacks to Costco is the long lines and hard-to-find parking. Well, this location has none of that!...at least on a weekday afternoon. I had a return. I waited in line for just a couple of minutes. Hooray! The store wasn't crowded, easy to navigate, and there were plenty of self-checkout stands available. The regular checkout lines were only about three carts deep. The only "ding" I would give this location is that the parking spaces seem to be a little narrow, so if you care about door dings, keep that in mind. I parked far away to find an open area, but that might not be an option on the weekend. I'm still sticking with my 5 stars, though. I don't live in the area, but I'll still go back to this location if I'm ever out that way and need to do a Costco run! read more

I'm rating this Costco 3 stars because customer service is a joke! Every time I return something they take forever to process the returns. Today I was returning a microwave that wasn't working. I explained what happened. The girl said she couldn't find it. So another girl came to assist. We were there about 40 minutes. And they still couldn't find it. Finally they came back and said that we purchased it in 2017. I said no, we purchased it 1 1/2 years ago. She said they couldn't return it and they didn't sell that microwave. I said well maybe it's in my old account. She looked and said nope it's not there. Long story short a supervisor finally came and she found it in less than 5 minutes . Why is it that it took so long to call a supervisor. I complained to the supervisor and she said well I don't know but let's process your refund. Great, glad you found it but instead of having to wait that long the manager or supervisor should have been there after 15 minutes !!! And no the supervisor didn't apologize for us waiting that long! Btw after being told that they don't carry that microwave, we went to look for a new microwave and omg there it was, the same microwave!!!!
