I would ask Meijer to do a survey on the percentage of people that are seniors and see if that is what is best for their customer as well as their speaker letting people in the store hear what you are saying. Secondly, I asked a pharmacist for advice on an eye drop and her response was unprofessional to say the least. Lastly, the cost. I am now paying $20 and $30 for the same drug that I paid $1.44 in Dec. The retail price, the dosage. the number of pills, and insurance are all the same. When I ask, they have no response. Also, I have a couple discount cards as well as my insurance and my last Meijer would always check and give me the best price. I continually have to ask them. I have been notified to pick up my scripts, and they are not complete. Extremely frustrated. The difference from when they first opened to the last 8 months is awful. I am Checking into the CVS across the street.

When I arrive a few minutes later, they say they are closed and the insurance only covers the generic so they have to redo it. They never once expressed this information until I arrived upset about their handling of the situation. They never once apologized or showed any empathy. They dismissed me and I was left with no help. I will never come here again for service for any of my family. Due to this interaction, I will never shop here again either. Meijer is more polite and customer service oriented. I also know that even my review will garner no apology from management or otherwise.

When I called the pharmacy, they didn't clarify why my medication wasn't refilled--they said I had a 90-day last time and only a 30-day on file. I asked for the 30 days, but the conversation escalated. The pharmacist, Alan, hung up on me. When I arrived in person, he called the cops claiming I was threatening, which I wasn't. I was told to take my prescriptions elsewhere. This was distressing, and I'm deeply disappointed by this treatment.

Unlike every other pharmacy that allows you to pick-up your medication at 28 days, he makes you wait a full 30 days and speaks to you in a very condescending manner. I suffer from Lupus, Psoriatic arthritis and fibromyalgia. I am under the care of a Rheumatologist, Primary care physician and a chronic pain doctor. I have been under their care for almost 20 years. My 3rd month of attempting to get my medication filled, the pharmacist called and told me that he was out of my medication and had no idea when he would get any supply restocked. We were standing in line at the Customer Service desk between 1 and 2 in the afternoon on Friday, 7-17-26 (the employees at the desk were really very nice - and patient, seeing what they have to deal with) but the line was beginning to really pile up. A delightful brunette lady customer asked an older lady-employee with long, blondish-gray hair, wearing a pink t-shirt and glasses about getting another person to help them out. WHAT I WITNESSED WAS SO RUDE - the employee in a very sarcastic tone talked to this customer (who was only trying to help us) in a very condescending tone that there were already two people at the desk like she was stupid (or a 5 year old), that there was nothing she could do and proceeded to walk off. We were all shocked at the way she addressed this costumer who was polite in asking for help. It wasn't what the employee said, it was how she proceeded to talk to this woman. I tried to get her name and talk to a supervisor, but I didn't see her the rest of my trip so I'm resorting this way of communication. Totally uncool and inappropriate.
