Clean and well stocked store with plenty of merchandise in a very convenient location with ample parking. Store is easy to go in and out of from the main road. Houseplants were not very well maintained, but selection of cactus and succulents was adequate. Could use some more "collectors" cactus and succulents which they've carried in the past. MANAGER ATTENTION - This is a very clean Walmart and the staff are usually very nice but today I witnessed a very belligerent staff member behave very inappropriately. We were standing in line at the Customer Service desk between 1 and 2 in the afternoon on Friday, 7-17-26 (the employees at the desk were really very nice - and patient, seeing what they have to deal with) but the line was beginning to really pile up. A delightful brunette lady customer asked an older lady-employee with long, blondish-gray hair, wearing a pink t-shirt and glasses about getting another person to help them out. WHAT I WITNESSED WAS SO RUDE - the older lady in a very sarcastic tone talked to this customer (who was only trying to help us) in a very condescending tone that there were already two people at the desk like she was stupid (or a 5 year old), that there was nothing she could do and proceeded to walk off. We were all shocked at the way she addressed this costumer who was polite in asking for help. It wasn't what the employee said, it was how she proceeded to talk to this woman. I tried to get her name and talk to a supervisor, but I didn't see her the rest of my trip so I'm resorting this way of communication. Totally uncool and inappropriate. I usually go to the other Walmart on Hall rd, but I do frequent this one occasionally too. The items at this store are in different spots, but it is pretty easy to navigate. It is fairly busy on Fridays and the weekends and parking can be a nightmare. We usually have to park super far from the door. It is also really difficult to get onto Hall rd because there is a turn pocket and cars come flying out. Overall the store is pretty decently clean inside. They sometimes have food that isn't fresh such as the produce. We found a few moldy items sitting in there. Our strawberries molded in 2 days which was not the norm for us. They are usually decenlt stocked but we have come during the week and we see carts of stuff waiting to be stocked. I am assuming that must be stocking day, which isn't a big deal. I do wish they had more checkout with cashiers. Sometimes you need to go to them especially for bottle returns and they usually only have 2 cashiers working. read more

On 02-13-2026 I went to the Walmart Supercenter on Marketplace drive for a oil change. I told the attendant that I wanted a Mobile 1 oil change. The oil change that they gave me was a Castrol full synthetic oil change. I wasn't asked if I was okay with that oil change they just did want they wanted to do without giving me the option of telling them what I wanted to do. After I went back to find out why wasn't I told about the change in the type of oil they used I was told what do you want me to do about it. read more

The store has been the reason I cancelled Walmart+. 10 shipping failures in less than 6 months, aside from collecting courtesy coupons like water, no visible management ever addressed the concerns, my headaches with their online shipping fiascoes. Highlights of comedy range from missed shipments, food shipped on numerous occasions regular USPS ending up in parcel lockers. Broken and lost or delayed out the view of time shipments, rude escalation and hubs, no addressing of several escalations to corporate, trash left with my food on porch, no bilingual drivers, app and website glitches, and still awaiting a response from a team lead, still no management or oversight. Holiday gifts shipped defective two times, same item. Shoes pictured at door left in locker. The staff on the phone is kind, and the management at the call center is as expected but AI is clueless and chat is ubiquitous. I don't know why this disaster is ongoing but I've talked with a relative in Brighton who has NEVER had such a swell time as I. Suggest Chesterfield Supercenter because once the reputation of this place is out they won't have a prayer of locating a customer, any customer, unless, that is, if you're not into abuse and humiliation. The problem is alot of product information from China is FAKE ! If you look at their reviews for an item it doesn't even list the correct product. I went to Walmart today to pick up a prescription and do a little Christmas shopping. Every person that I encountered went above and beyond for me, from the lady at the front that walked out in the rain to find a working scooter, to the cashier who searched for a York Peppermint Pattie for me at the registers. I have mixed feelings about this store. After giving it quite a few chances, I'm giving it a generous 3 stars. They do have very good prices, the merchandise is decent as far as quality, variety and selection, the grocery store is well stocked and maintained. The problems I've encountered have been with floor/department personnel and cashiers at checkout. On more than one occasion, the cashiers and floor personnel haven't been real friendly. I don't like being made to feel like I'm bothering them when I need assistance or have a question. They don't seem overworked or rushed. This leaves for a not so enjoyable visit especially when the cashier is the last person you have contact with. Also, I've had to drive back to the store to get the rest of my merchandise because it wasn't all handed to me when I left the checkouts. The return lines have been long the couple of times I've had to stand and wait for assistance. The online prices versus the store prices are sometimes different and I don't like that because sometimes you're made to order online and pick it up in store to get the cheaper price when the merchandise you want is right there on the shelf but at the higher price. It doesn't make sense to me but there must be a good reason. There are the smiling, helpful faces greeting you as you enter and again as you're leaving, but I do feel the morale in general could use some boosting or pep talks because I don't see this happening in other stores. read more

This WalMart has REALLY cleaned up their act! My sister called me from inside while shopping and told me to get my butt up there for some great summer clearance items!! This didn't used to be my favorite place, but after today, I will consciously decide to head to this location above any other. Lets start with the cheery welcome we received upon entering the store, that wonderful greeting set the tone for my entire visit. The store was VERY tidy! Clean, neat, organized, impeccable! Every employee we encountered was helpful and friendly, what a change from other recent customer service woes, where employees seem to drone on almost robotically, that was not the case at this location. It seems pride in doing a good job has returned and everyone was was in on the action! After checking out we were again greeted and thanked for visiting! It was a few miles from our hotel. Friendly staff when you enter and at the cashiers. Open 24/7 and they have a drive up when you order online for pick up at the store - not offered at the Wallymart near our home. They had everything you need at a Walmart and the staff even ask you if you need help while you're walking in the store, usually staff hide from customers, so this one deserves their 5 stars. Went there a couple times on a short trip and as always got what we needed and the lines were quick as well as the self-serve lines. read more

This Walmart would have received 4 stars from me, except for one thing. I bought some clothes, some sunscreen, moisturizer, and was going to buy a birthday card. (they have a whole Hallmark section with cards ranging from 47c and up, which is nice) First off: tried on a few pants/shorts and the lady at the changing rooms was nice, no issues with that. Second: took me FOREVER to find the moisturizer because they're lumped in with the acne products. It's weird that the cosmetics section is smack dab in the middle of the store though. What drops this Walmart to 3 stars instead of 4 was this, though: normally I do self-checkout, but decided to do 'regular' checkout today since the line was short. The cashier, a trainee, was ringing me up and all of a sudden, the moving belt ATE MY CARD. Yes - ATE it. It disappeared. The other cashier helping her looked underneath it, but nothing. They asked if I wanted to go get another card, and I declined, because I was in a rush ... but I was pretty sad because it took me a while to pick out that card. And now I will have to buy one somewhere else. The kicker is that I walked off with my bag, to go use the restroom, then realized the cashier had only given me 1 of my 2 bags. Went back and asked for the other one, got it, then finally left. We used to live in Richmond when this store opened. Have not been to this location since we moved further north a year and a half ago, now we go to the location in Ft Gratiot. We were in Chesterfield today so we stopped there. We will never go back. It was dirty, clothes all over the place, on the floor, over the tops of the racks. Ladies mixed in the mens section, no selection other than Christmas themed clothes. Waited in Express Line 2 people in front of us for over 20 min. Now thats a 20 item minimum. Which they did not exceed that limit. Having to use the facilities when I first walked in should have given me my first clue, and should have left then. I will NEVER go back to that location, it is as bad as the Walmart @ 12 Mile and Gratiot in Roseville. Management should be ashamed of themselves. read more

If i could rate -5 stars I would....I just had surgery yesterday and I came into the store and got into the motorized cart/wheelchair and immediately the greeter Kim with blonde short hair started to harass me and my girlfriend about using them. (as if i didn't already feel embarrassed/humiliated to have to use them) My girlfriend just had a recent knee surgery and previously had 3 other knee surgeries so it's challenging for her to be walking for to long and considering I just had surgery I've been having orthostatic hypotension and I've been at a fall risk so we really needed to use these devices and she completely stereotyped us due to us being in our 20's.... you never know someone's story so next time never judge a book by its cover... won't be going to this Walmart again! read more

Got there at 620pm, followed the instructions to check in and didn't receive my order for 55 minutes and then they had to go in and get one more item. I waited for over an hour before I received my whole order when it was already completed before I arrived and there were only four other cars ahead of me. This store seems to never have any cashiers. The employees are nice enough but the wait to check out is always rediculous. Three checkouts open is the most I've ever seen. I constantly use the u scans even with larger orders and yet it still takes 10 minutes to get out of the store. If you wait in a line it usually takes 20-30 minutes to actually leave. The managers are no help when asked about the issue. You will also be stopped at the exit about 90% of the time. Most of the staff are friendly and helpful but if you don't have half a day to spend here then go elswhere. read more
