I first experienced this when a pharmacy employee was super unkind (& rude) to me, and I wanted to bring it to the pharmacist's attention... JC handled the situation with grace and no excuses... even took accountability for HER actions! THAT is a true manager! People know the difference! I later discovered that she had just given her 2 weeks' notice... HEB dodged a bullet with her! Today, I called him to thank him for being a good human and representing HEB with such heart... AND that a NEW HEB would be opening closer to my home, and I hope they have a pharmacist team that is (even close to) as wonderful! He mentioned he had already met them and assured me they are all wonderful! I giggled and thanked him again! They offer free and low-cost health screenings on the 2nd Saturday every month. We have taken advantage of that and appreciate having that option: including free blood pressure check, free glucose, and low-cost cholesterol, A1C, and complete cholesterol pannel. We've switched from CVS because the hours are much better, the staff are nicer, and of course, it's convenient!

The people behind that cash register should be trained on doing things in a timely manner, because that line moves slower than my 93 year old grandmother. They don't seem to care about being on top of time, so people stand there and wait. It's very, very annoying, and the tables are filthy over half the time. No one seems to stay on top of sanitation. It's inexcusable for a multi-billion dollar company!
