Came here just to browse. Has a decent size parking lot that says for CVS customers only, I'm not sure how they manage that as the lot was pretty much full. Also makes it a little tricky if they have a truck doing deliveries. Unfortunately I couldn't find anything I needed or some good deal, I feel like prices are just so high here. A intuition shaver bar, lysol wipes or liquid IV are insanely expensive when I could save money and get bigger at a Costco type store. I did end up leaving with one purchase, these cute little star acne patches. They are in a case that you need employee assistant to open, but once I pushed she did come right over. Self check out was easy and got cash back. read more

I wish this wasn't the most conveniently located drugstore for me, if it wasn't I wouldn't go. It is ridiculously poorly managed by its extremely unprofessional and incompetent managers. The female manager is awful - constantly screaming at staff in front of customers. She is very abrasive and rude. Staff are almost never at the registers and rarely paying attention to what's going on near them. When the self checkout has an error, it takes forever to find and flag down an employee. They are always out of everything and the restocking schedule is weird and unpredictable. To top it all off, I don't mean to be unkind but one employee there smells so bad that I have to cover my nose and mouth the keep from vomiting whenever he's nearby. Someone needs to have a conversation with him about hygiene and deodorant - like he literally leaves a trail of stench everywhere he goes. It's really bad. read more

Absolutely trash. I moved to the area and have visited this location because is walking distance from me but I refuse to go back. The price mark ups, the filth and the pharmacy staff are the absolute worst. one of the women behind the counter with too much makeup on basically bullied a customer in front of me. Apparently his I.D was expired. They would not give him his medication even after I offered to us my I.D. It was an antibiotic too. It wasn't a narcotic. Maybe it's just me but who is she to refuse to give him his medication, literally just a cashier and even after I offered and showed my valid ID. Dirty. The filth on the carpet in the vaccination booth did not inspire confidence in the administration of my shot. When I squeamishly mentioned to the pharmacist that the floor needed to be vacuumed, she replied, "The whole store needs to be vacuumed." I should have walked out. I don't know why I keep coming back to this CVS. I appreciate the fact that people don't want to work anymore, but you really need more than one cashier upfront - especially since it takes at least three calls for the store manager, Sandy, to come up to the front and help the poor woman out. If you're going to have something on sale, then have it ring up correctly. Better yet, stop selling it all together. This CVS store is a bad reflection on the others. If I could rate them -100, I would. The young female pharmacist is HORRIBLE. She is demeaning, does not listen and makes no effort to speak quietly about psychopharm medications. They are NEVER adequately staffed, the wait time for service is worse than any pharmacy I've been to and they have NO desire to problem solve. However, Abbas is a wonderful pharmacist and Sam the a checkout clerk is excellent. Go to the CVS in Arlington. read more

Absolutely abysmal pharmacy. I don't think I ever had a prescription filled out correctly. Don't even bother calling. I thought at first that it was a CVS thing and that pharmacy calls were not routed quickly, until I was in the store and watched as pharmacists were hanging out chatting while the phones rang, never once picking up in the 30 minutes it took me to wait in line. read more

Don't be fooled by signing up online to get covid tested at this location. I signed up online and received a confirmation code and everything. I show up to the location (even 10 mins early) and was greeted with a "we do not perform covid testing at this location" sign. read more

Multiple poor pharmacy experiences, no timely communication with customers and pretty bad attitudes. You can no longer call and get someone on the phone in a timely manner - you're forced to leave a voicemail and HOPE they call you back (they won't). There were 6 people working when I stopped in recently, but they said they couldn't call me back because they were short staffed... I couldn't get there during the day because I was working and by the time I got the info I needed, my doctors office was closed for the weekend. Not sure why they're hiring people unhappy with or ill-equipped to work a customer-facing job. Witnessed multiple people unable to get their Rxs filled and all walked away confused and upset. read more

The pharmacy lady who gave me my vaccine was really rude. She didn't even bother to take patients to the vaccine area, she just jabbed us right then and there in front of the pharmacy counter. Also she did 3 patients back to back and I didn't see her change her gloves or sanitize her hands in between. That place is gross. read more

The pharmacists here always seem pissed off and annoyed. IF you call to speak to a pharmacist, they act like you are bothering them even though it is their job to fill your prescriptions and answer your questions. Ditto in person. For the past couple years, the pharmacists are visually annoyed whenever they have to come to the counter and speak to customers. I usually have a high tolerance for lack of warmth from people working relatively boring jobs... but still... part of your job is interacting with the public. Time to find a new pharmacy. read more

I used to love the pharmacy here. People were friendly, helpful, and knew what they were doing. Now, over the last year or two, all of the good people have left and it's now a mixture of overall rudeness and incompetence. I can't remember a time of late that my prescription hasn't been messed up. I get a text it's in, but show up and one or more are not in. Sometimes a staff person actually seems to care and is interested in figuring it out, but other times, like today, I'm told it's not in or available for refill despite my pre-paying and showing the email confirmation it's in. I almost always have some sort of hiccup picking up at their pharmacy. Last time I went to pick something up, I was in the throes of a nasty sinus infection. After calling my doctor to confirm that she'd sent in my Rx, I watched as the staff searched around confused claiming they had no record of it, only to get a call on my cell phone from their automatic service announcing my prescription was ready for pick up prompting the pharmacy tech to finally locate it. Am I fever dreaming here?? The staff were sweet as pie as I sniffled and sneezed my through a 25 minute wait but things just felt disorganized and the hold up was frustratingly long with so few other patrons there. Add that on to the fact that the rest of the store always feels a bit run down, the parking lot is a total clusterf*&ck and the aisles are half stocked (where's my As-Seen-On-TV Aero Knife people??) I doubt this is going to be my go to drugstore. read more

Well. It's a CVS. Generally if you've been to one, you've been to them all. They have some nail polish, cold remedies.. snacks.. the usual. I went to this particular CVS for the Minute Clinic recently. I had been suffering from a hellish sinus infection and don't have health insurance. So an under $100 visit to the Minute Clinic, or an over $200 visit to a walk in clinic? I took my chances at the Minute Clinic. There's an electronic machine you check in to, which takes less than 5 minutes. Depending on the time of day you go the wait could be less than 20 minutes. The Doctor working was incredibly friendly. We ended up just chatting the entire time she examined me. I gave her the full rundown of everything I had been trying at home, and she prescribed me antibiotics and I was on my way. I went to the pharmacy to make sure they were aware I had a Rx from the clinic, the man behind the counter was very friendly and checked on it for me saying it would be done soon. The bad part? I waited for over an hour. A lot of customers came, waited for 10 minutes, then absolutely threw a temper tantrum at the employees so I tried my best not to be "that person." Finally my ibuprofen was wearing out and I started to have so much sinus pain I thought I was going to cry. I walked patiently in front of the counter until they realized my Rx had been done for "along time" (according to the pharmacist) and I was promptly checked out. I was pretty irritated, but what can you do? The pharmacist made sure I was aware of the price with no insurance, yep got it lady, and I was out of there faster than you can say "all set." They do have a parking lot, which "weird" or not is better than trying to find parking on High Street. read more

On the plus side: there's plenty of parking in an attached lot. There's a minute clinic with a very nice healthcare provider. It's a larger CVS so you can usually find what you need. On the minus side, it's a CVS, frankly I hate them all, I think they are overpriced, their coupons are never for anything I plan to buy ($30 worth of face cream, 20% off the pain reliever you never use) and they've basically driven everyone else out of business. Awesome location. Tyler the Assistant Store Manager is a great guy. He helped me find the exact candy I was looking for. While waiting in line to check out, Tyler was going above and beyond helping an older customer who was having a difficult time finding Pepsi. You can tell he is really good at his job because he took the time to brighten my day when I was having a long stressful day. I have worked for many top tier customer service companies including Enterprise Rent-A-Car and Tyler provides the level of customer service which only companies dreamed their employees could have. I will only come back to this location. CVS, make this guy a store manager! read more

I am a regular customer. I have been watching this store going down for last 6 years. They used to maintain a very nice and customer friendly environment. Not anymore! They do not store even basic items and they are just trying to get rid of customers as fast as they can. I visited today and I was looking to purchase a distilled water. With all medical offices around this location one would think that they will be watching for their supplies and keep goods in their warehouse. They did not have distilled water and they did not know when they will get it. The lady who looked like a CVS manager asked at the register and ran out of the store. What gives? read more

I was here on Saturday so that they could save my life. This CVS is one of the only ones in the area that has a 'Minute Clinic', and when I woke up on Saturday thinking that I had strep throat, the ads for 'Minute Clinic' foggily danced through my head. 'Minute Clinic' is this genius idea that someone brilliant at CVS headquarters had where they have an RN (registered nurse) on staff that can check you out for minor illness and write prescriptions for you right there. I went online and found out that this was the closest location to my house and it was way closer than my doctor's office. So the decision was made and my darling boy (who was my hero of the day) demanded that we depart for it that instant. I, however, demanded that I take a shower first. Just a little while later I, freshly showered, and the boy, still in PJs, were on High Street in Medford pulling into the parking lot of CVS. I walked in and the first thing I realized is that this CVS is the kind that is just a little bit run down. It is not the shiny bright and new kind that I am used to in the Back Bay, but it is still kept as clean as they can. The 'Minute Clinic' is in the back of the store by the pharmacy, so that is where I headed. There were about 5 people already there, three just waiting and two in line to check in at the little computer screen thing that tells you all the important medical and law-ish things you need to know and that they need to know. Because there were 5 people in front of me I did have to wait for about an hour and a half. The RN took about 20-25 minutes per person, but this was fine because I knew that she would be spending the same amount of time on me. She did, too: RN Rachel, you are awesome. She was super nice and patient and at the end of it all she sent the Rx right over to the pharmacy. If there hadn't been 5 people in line ahead of me the whole thing might have lasted 35 minutes, maybe even shorter. On the way out I picked up some razors and then we were off. The whole experience was great and I am going to highly recommend this CVS 'Minute Clinic' to anyone who asks and even those who don't. Yay for easy and helpful health care and for employees that are friendly and helpful! read more

Do not go here! Harvard vanguard is cheaper, better care, actually cares about the patient (not the transaction) and price gouges! They wouldn't run my insurance or contact them, charged me 200 for a script that cost me 50 (both before they checked with my insurance, which cvs wouldn't) it's my mistake for trying to save me a 5min walk down the street. Also, I noticed there was PHI left on the counter from 3 other patients before me. Save your time and go elsewhere, it's about money there not your health!! I've been coming to this CVS since 2009 to pick up medication for a pre-existing condition. Unfortunately, my prescription ran out, and I was unable to get the refill in time. This happened once in 2010, and the pharmacist was able to sell me a refill at full price. Since that happened almost THREE YEARS AGO, I had assumed this would be the case. Not so. The pharmacist on duty refused to do this even after I offered to pay full price for the pills I needed. I explained that I'd gotten a call from the pharmacy telling me my prescription is ready (and even pulled out my phone to show her this). She insinuated that I was going to sell the pills on the black market. Finally she compromised and gave me five pills, but behaved as though she was doing me a big favor. Her unwillingness to cooperate combined with her implication that I was a drug dealer soured this CVS for me. When the time comes, I will NOT be getting my prescriptions refilled here, and I encourage other Yelpers to avoid this CVS like the plague. read more

This location is very poor when it comes to community responsibility. Each year they are told that they have to shovel the sidewalk on their property. Each year, they make excuses and they even plow the parking lot snow onto the sidewalk. They need to obey the city laws - being a part of a large corporation doesn't mean they get to make special rules for themselves, and endanger the citizens of the city by forcing people to walk on a busy, narrow street or climb a snowpile to get on a bus or slip and fall on the ice. I have moved my prescriptions from here for this and other reasons. read more

This review is for the PHARMACY ONLY. I absolutely love this pharmacy! Every pharmacists and tech is kind and personable. It didn't take them a long time to remember my name and birthday at all. There is one employee I gave free Easter Bunny pictures to when I worked at the photo set in the mall just because I appreciate them so much. I picked up my medicine today and did not have enough money, I was a little under$3 short. I said I can only get one and the price of both RXs were waived! I am so grateful to have a pharmacy full of smiling, happy, knowledgeable employees. read more

Minute clinic guy working there was horrible went in because of bad cold and hard time breathing told me to take mucinex and a albuterol inhaler mind you I couldn't walk 20 feet without being out of breath I'm 24. Love this store. You can get anything you need at reasonable prices with tons of coupons with the CVS card all right next door from work/home. The staff are all very polite and happy to be there. An employee named Nicole was very helpful in finding everything and always answers whatever questions I have. Everything is well stocked and in order.
