**This review is for the Minute Clinic but I also use this location for prescriptions. It's not a 1-star location. Really. I just needed a flu shot and didn't want to wait for hours in a room full of sick people at an urgent care to get one. Let me tell you why Minute Clinic is the way to go. Step One: Find the closest Minute Clinic to you and register online (or through the app), saving your place in line. Step Two: Wait comfortably at home - or work - until your estimated wait time is almost over, then drive to your Minute Clinic. Step Three: Check in at the Minute Clinic kiosk where you will be the next person seen by the nurse practitioner. My estimated wait time was an hour, which gave me plenty of time to finish work for the day and drive to CVS. After checking in the kiosk, the total time of my visit - including waiting for the NP and getting my flu shot - was 15 minutes. Flu shot acquired and there was no need to employ back alley tactics. Is bad service! I drop my prescription the RPH say wait for 30 min after 35 l asking for the medication she say I forgot put the prescription in the sys! After that another Pharmacist in a bad mood say I have to wait an hour! Please is some manager there! read more

What a shock, CVS Pharmacy's customer service is utterly incompetent - who needs phone support when you can waste your time driving to the store, and don't bother holding your breath for that callback either. It's a wonder their service isn't even more appalling, giving you the perfect excuse to take your business (and prescriptions) elsewhere. read more

Sad sad location I called several times no one answered I know most bad reviews are emotionally based and this one partially is as well but it's the truth, I am a younger person but god forbid I was an older person who struggles with mobility I wouldn't be able to get through I had to physically go down to the pharmacy and guess what the phone kept ringing and no one bothered to answered the phone and when they finally did after about 15 minutes they were very curt and I just imagined being an older person having to deal with this, I think management needs to hire more staff and maybe provide a little compassion training we know your all over worked and under paid but no ones deserves curt treatment!! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They won't answer the phone. my doctor wrote a prescription for 3 tubes of an ant inflammatory cream that I pick up every month, except this month. I went to pick the prescription up but only 2 tubes were in the bag. I asked about it and was told that was all they have. I could pick the other tube up the next day. I went in the next day and was told my insurance wouldn't pay for more than my doctor wrote the prescription for. I called my doctor thinking maybe the error was how the prescription was written and the doctor sent another prescription. I just got off the phone with the pharmacist. She refuses to fill the rest of the prescription. I asked for her name and she said she doesn't have to give me that. I asked for her supervisor and she said no one is over her. We came in to get my wife a couple vaccines. The Dr. was really nice to my wife, but she was not nice or friendly to me. I'm not sure what her problem was, but I didn't need her attitude when I'm spending almost $200 on vaccinations. If she treated me how she treated my wife I would of gave 5 stars. This is a review of the front store not the pharmacy as I have had no contact with the actual pharmacy. I was in the store on Sunday and ordered pictures, then stopped back in Tuesday to pick them up. While I was there, I picked 4 more items. when the cashier rang up my items, I knew one of the did not ring at the price the shelf indicated so I told her the price was not right and she called a manager person who scanned it with his hand held device and said it rang at the right price...duh...and I explained again that was not the price on the shelf and I told her I would go look at the shelf to verify,,,so while I was looking at that one , I looked at one of my other items too. Went back to the cash register and she indicated the prices that rang were correct and I told her I would just take my photos and not the rest of the items. She looked at the manager and he got involved again and said he could take care of it which he did. Why did I have to check the shelf and why were 2 of my 4 items ringing different than the self price? Does someone or 2 need customer service training? Why were half of my items wrong? read more

I called the pharmacy before I went to pick them up and was told all my prescriptions were ready. I drove to the pharmacy and dit in the drive through line for 20 minutes just to be told the prescriptions were not ready when I finally got to the drive through window. They told me to come inside and wait. I walked inside and waited another 15 minutes And was told they had to order one of the prescriptions. all of this after I called ahead to make sure My prescriptions were ready. One young gal employed in the pharmacy during weekday mornings always has a rude bad attitude over the phone. When she is asked to request refill a prescription, she refuses while doing her own personal business & makes loud noises to drown out customers. It's too bad because all the other workers in that pharmacy are nice professional hard workers. But that young white gal who answers the phone at approx 11am in pharmacy during weekdays is driving business AWAY to other pharmacies. read more

This CVS pharmacy is very friendly and service has always been professional. The minute clinic is set up for online convenience and I was so grateful to be able to go in and get a strep test on a Sunday. The PA was very friendly, knowledgeable, and thorough. This is the first review I have ever written about any Pharmacy. The pharmacist Kirston went above and beyond with customer service. She was extremely helpful making calls searching for the best possible discount and availability of a medication that is hard to find. Gus was also very friendly during the check out process and was available to answer any questions we may have had along with some very friendly banter. In the past I would dread the running around from pharmacy to pharmacy trying to find the medications I need for the month. Both Kirston and Gus made my day!!! I would recommend this Pharmacy to anyone and I will be switching the rest of my prescriptions here to this CVS location. This particular CVS has set the bar for quality customer service. I prefer CVS over the competitor but in this stores case, I'd think twice about it. I love CVS' Extra Buck Rewards Program but unfortunately at this store, it is never well stocked that when you walk in on a Sunday eveining, you will not find any items left and they will not restock during the week. It always takes about 30 minutes to get through the Pharmacy Drive Thru to pick up Rxs. They have very slow service, inside and out. Staff can be more friendly and helpful, as well. read more

CVS is usually good, and this place used to be. Not any longer. My family has used this location for about 7 years but I'm moving all our scripts to Walgreens today. The techs and pharmacists are beyond incompetent and the rudest and slowest I've ever seen. The tech that waited on me today was the worst. perhaps a change in management caused this location to go downhill, not sure but they are losing customers left and right. I would not recommend going here for anything. Plenty of other pharmacies, even other CVS that want your business and treat their customers with respect and decency. read more

Had a 3:30pm appt for Minute Clinic. There was a man in front of me inquiring about COVID Boosters. The clerk helping him never acknowledged my presence or asked me to wait a minute, check-in, etc. He later began to actually sign up the customer for said boosters for he and his wife and still never said I'll be with you or anything. I was invisible to him. Finally the nurse practitioner opened the door and saw me and told me to check-in. The machine would not take my insurance card. I guess I was taking too long for her because she didn't ask did I need assistance, she asked did the screen say "done?" Mind you I'm still invisible to other worker. When I finally get in the exam room, I'm now told that I can't be assisted without her even assessing the situation. I have leg weeping due to edema. Now I have told her my issue, that I can't get a doctors appt until next week and that CareNow didn't have appts and this was my 2nd day with my issue. Didn't offer any OTC or any other solutions, but go to the ER or guess who CareNow. I go to the ER and after I complain about the $300 bill I'm about to fork over they say, a nurse practitioner at a place like CVS could have helped! . Um no, they can't. They don't want to and they don't even acknowledge you exist. Everything that the nurse practitioner claimed I needed was not done or needed at the ER. I didn't even have an infection. She could have given me the same ointment the doctor did. Very disappointed and mad that I had to spend extra money. So mad probably transferring my RXs out of there too. read more

This pharmacist is the worst. Over riding scrips written by a primary care physician and neurologist bc he felt it was being overused. Then when trying to understand why not once but twice this happened, on the phone he was rude, cut me off multiple times, condescending and flat out lied. He claimed it was against the law (lie) and then contradicted himself saying if we brought in a written scrip he'd fill it?!? Would give no stars for the pharmacist but the girls at the counter and window are always sweet . But it's just not enough to overcome the terrible service by the pharmacist. When you are feeling sick you want to be in superior hands. It is my delight to highly recommend THIS pharmacy. I was a previous long standing customer of Walgreens but continued to run into various problems. Pharmacist Mr. Vu Le has a calm demeanor and I watched him handle various customer concerns and questions with intense great care. I became overwhelmed with great emotion knowing my health care needs would be dealt with in a serious, careful, and protective manner. When I was a previous customer of Walgreens I needed daily eye drops filled and they blamed my insurance. When I brought this to the attention of Mr. Vu Le he told me not to worry or to make any phone calls that it would be taken care of. Much to my amazement he had everything figured out in one day. I am eager to meet up with Mr. Paul Hoover the head pharmacist to share how pleased I am with Mr. Vu Le and his superior customer service skills. While I was put off by Walgreens my eye condition began to deteriorate rather quickly. Thankfully Mr. Le handled my care needs quickly so that I could heal faster. I am grateful to have found a pharmacy that truly cares about my personal care needs. read more

It is very slow to get through the pharmacy to get your prescriptions over 30 minutes for sure. Also for the Minute Clinic, I would avoid this at all costs unless you have no where else to go to get seen. They will tell you they will bill you correctly for a preventive exam/screening, but this is not true. They used the wrong V code for mine (It was supposed to be coded as a preventative checkup) so I got charged. When I called them to try to get it changed, they adamantly stated it was the correct code and they would not change it. They kept telling me to call my insurance, which I did, and they said it was CVS's fault because it was coded wrong. Basically, I had to pay for a preventative exam that my company requires that should be free, but they charged me because of the wrong code. Total ripoff! read more

This pharmacy is a mess. It's incredibly slow, the techs are always new and variably skilled in customer service, and our anti-convulsant medication (read: so I don't have a seizure) was "lost" when we dropped it by the drive though. Unfortunately, no one could apologize for the lost prescription or could help us not go without the drug for several days. The Kroger pharmacy down the street is way better. read more

I really like this CVS. Everyone is friendly and makes a point to a say hi, while most pharmacies you won't even be acknowledged for at least 5 minutes of standing there. I've never had to wait long for a prescription and i'm never on hold long. They even have a "minute clinic" which I think is like a little dr's office? The only reason I'm not rating 5 stars is they only have one drive-thru lane. read more

They do ok with most prescriptions & have a LOT of nifty Gift Items, cards & food items at good prices, the only handicap for the store is that the mesquite Street lighting at night is not as good as Garlands, but its closer to me than the other locations & very convenient when running daytime errands. read more

Just got out of surgery and needed my pain pills. Had to wait for the staff to stop talking before being helped, that was after 7 minutes. Had the lady 2 prescriptions and she only does one of them, and skips my antibiotics, had to tell her to add them as well. Im the only customer in store and its an hour wait. My Anesthetic had been wearing off and I have been waiting in really bad pain. Avoid this Pharmacy at all costs read more

I went today to get my prescriptions filled at 11:41am and was told it would take 30 min. I told the young hispanic female that I would waite. During my wait time there were no customers but just one drive up. There were 3 pharmacist and 2 cashiers. After 45 min I walked up and asked cashier what was the hold up and he checked. Pharmacist Alvi said he would process it. Again, I walked up 1 hr later and asked the female how much longer since it's been an hour and they had no customers. I then told the young lady to give me the name and phone numbers of management and she did. By that time the Pharmacist gave the cashier my prescriptions but never ever explained or apologize for the wait time. As I was paying for my items customers started to arrive. While i was walking out the store I looked a my prescription info and the tags said pick up was 2pm. Had I not walked up twice, they would have not processed my prescription till later. I never said I would come back for pick but I told the young lady that I would wait for them. Feeling sick with bronchitis and having to wait that long for medicine was horrible especially with no customers but me sitting in their waiting area. I have used this location for several years to pick up my prescriptions and it just seems to get worse and worse with each visit. At one point, they combined my account with someone else's and the other person was getting free prescriptions on my account. She got the better end of the deal because they told me they couldn't fill my prescriptions because my birthday was wrong. Took a while to get that all settled out but it finally got resolved. I continued to use them but today when the doctor placed the order online and I drove for at least 30 minutes to 45 minutes to pick it up, I was told that it would be at least 2 to 3 hours because they were behind. They also didn't show to have a prescription filled that I had submitted online a few days ago. I was told that their "system had been down". According to the app, my prescriptions that were supposed to be ready at 4:00 PM still are set at refill in progress and it is 7:25 PM. There have also been times when I have waited forever in line for the drive-through and then when it was my turn and they were having complications, I was asked to drive around the building and get back in line because someone was behind me and they are on a timer for customer service. Personally, I don't like that system because it's my turn and I waited my time and I'm not necessarily interested in your timer to falsify customer service data. read more

Brought in my RX at 10:17am; This guy just grabbed one of my scripts and stated its going to be a while if I even have it in. Left me at the counter, came back grabbed the other when and commented this is 5 scripts it's really going to take a while. Again left me standing at the counter. He stated realistically they will be ready at 11:00a but I'll call your name if it's sooner. I'm sitting her a lady walked up from their minute clinic and wow 5 minutes her scripts are ready. This cvs shorts your pills. You better start counting them when you get home like I did and realize that every month I'm thinking I'm losing pills but it's because my 30 day prescription only had 21 pills in it. Month after month I have been short and couldn't understand why til I started counting them. Apparently cvs is making lots of money off one prescription. Selling me 30 but only having 21 and selling the remainder of my prescription to someone else. Called pharmacist immediately and he said that's not good. So he was gonna be sure the prescriptions get counted. Really??? Anyway said for me to come up to pharmacy and he would have the remainder waiting. When I arrived they had no idea was I was talking about and no pills were waiting in will call. Didn't know anything about it. Like I said. Beware of your prescriptions. Make sure they aren't expired or short or the wrong pills altogether. This pharmacy is a hot mess. read more
