This is a review of Rocco's delivered. We'd previously picked up donuts at a Rocco's near us. Very large donuts, very tasty. But we recently decided to try to have an order delivered to us, and it was a disappointing experience. First hiccup. Placed an order for a half-dozen on Thursday, with an expectation of "one-day delivery" giving us donuts on Saturday. Expensive impulse buy. When I'd had no email by Saturday, a query to them got me an answer that, while it makes sense, I don't think the order process made clear: Because they worry that delivery companies won't deliver in timely fashion on weekends, they were holding the order until Monday. And the order did arrive on Tuesday. Donut-free weekend, boo. Second hiccup: Donuts ordered for delivery are NOT the large ones you're expecting. They are Dunkin'-sized, which is disappointing for the price charged. Third hiccup: The donuts are extremely well-packed, each in their own plastic "cup" with lids. However, even with the donuts' smaller-than-Rocco-normal size, you WILL peel off some frosting of frosted ones when you lift their lids. These cups need to be taller, and ideally bigger all around to allow the "regular large" Rocco's to fit. I won't order for delivery again; the promise of convenience falls down, at a pretty high price paid. Good donuts, but only for in-store pickup.

    6 packkkk. Plenty of donuts.

Great visit to the Millbury store since I was nearby. Not a huge crowd here midday. I never craved donuts until I tried Rocco's for the first time in Westborough. They're so good here. The Millbury location is a location to just run in and out. No seating available. I came in fairly late on a Friday and a lot of the donuts we were looking for were either unavailable or sold out. Really wanted the Boston creme and lemon filled! Either way experience here was great--and also the donuts we tried at this location. For this trip, my favorite was the Raspberry filled donut. Highly recommend going earlier during the day since they have limited stock on some flavors. Had a small dark roast coffee to go along with the order. Thumbs up as well. Cheers. And be well.

Really good doughnuts! Highly recommend the maple bacon and Homer ones. They are very large doughnuts, and I think you definitely get what you pay for because they are a little more pricy than normal.

Definitely get there when they first open! We made the mistake of driving an hour around noon and there was not much left. However the donuts we did get were delicious. We ordered the Boston cream and a chocolate glazed as well as the boba lemonade drinks. They were very bitter tasting to us it was something we weren't used to. The inside was very clean and I liked how they had the donuts up front in the case to choose from as well as if they were sold out already.

4/5 ~6:45 am on a Saturday, line was about 20 people deep (it opens at 7)! Pros: -Fun flavors -Moist cake donuts and fluffy yeast donuts -Small parking lot Cons: -Pricey! -Lines! Just opened a month ago and it's still super packed. I assume there will be lines up until they sell out at least for a while. EDIT 8/18: they're making more donuts and lines are not as bad! -Menu not posted on Instagram so can't guarantee what flavors will be available until you get there. I hope they'll start noting this on Instagram (the night before, please??) since they seem pretty active and it would be great to know what's available before making the trip. Also, flavors change throughout the day which is frustrating if you find out a flavor you wanted became available after you left!! EDIT 8/18: they now post the menu for the week on Instagram @roccodoughnutco which makes life so much easier!! -Tight space inside so it's a little hard to maneuver, and no place to sit -- Classic donuts $1.85 each Specialty donuts $3.50 each -- Recommend: Brown/Maple Butter Pecan Plain cake donut with brown butter icing and candies pecans. Perfectly moist cake donut with sweet brown butter/pecan topping. Glazed Chocolate Cake Fairly moist chocolate cake donut with a thick layer of glaze that wasn't overly sweet. Not the best chocolate cake donut I've ever had, but very solid. Apple Crisp Apple cake donut topped with apple crisp. Moist cake donut with good apple flavor! Chocolate Cream Pie Yeast donut with chocolate icing and a chocolate mousse(?) topping. The chocolate mousse was surprisingly good and not overly sweet. Plain Glazed Fluffy yeast donut with plain glaze. Light and fluffy but thick. Boston Cream Yeast donut with chocolate icing filled with bavarian cream. Fresh dough and all around a pretty solid Boston Cream--lots of filling inside. Cinnamon Almond Crunch We were a bit confused because the menu advertised Coffee Almond Crunch and yet this had Cinnamon instead. Glazed plain cake donut topped with cinnamon, crumbled almonds (? it tasted more like the topping on a butternut/crunch donut instead of nuts and wasn't super crunchy, so if that's the case I'm not sure where the almond comes in) and a vanilla (?) drizzle. This was a super moist donut that some thought was too cinnamon-y, but I enjoyed it despite the confusion about what it was! Plain Chocolate Glazed Yeast donut with a chocolate icing and 1/4 covered in sprinkles (I guess to appeal to the crowd that likes and dislikes sprinkles at the same time?) Again, the dough was really fresh and I enjoyed the chocolate icing. Hostess Plain cake donut encased in a hard chocolate shell. It was definitely dry inside but the crunch of the chocolate exterior made this worth a try. -- Don't recommend: Pumpkin Cake Glazed pumpkin cake donut. This was a bit too sweet. Glazed Plain Cake Moist cake donut with similarly thick layer of glaze as the chocolate cake, but also a little too sweet. Fruity Pebbles Yeast donut with strawberry cereal milk icing and fruity pebbles. The crunch of the fruity pebbles is nice, but the topping was insanely sweet. However, the yeast donut underneath was fluffy and fresh. My second favorite (if eaten without the topping). Chocolate Caramel Toffee Glazed chocolate cake donut with a caramel icing, toffee bits, and chocolate drizzle. The cake donut was fairly moist but I didn't like the toppings--it was overwhelming and I don't think they paired well with each other. I would get a plain glazed chocolate cake donut over this. Oreo Un-glazed chocolate cake donut with a vanilla (Oreo-esque) icing topped with crumbled Oreos and what may have been a chocolate drizzle but we weren't sure. Okay, but super dry given that the cake donut wasn't glazed. Nutella Yeast donut rolled in cinnamon sugar with ~1 tablespoon of Nutella in an indentation in the center. The dough was fresh but we had been hoping this was a larger pool of Nutella--the indentation is pretty shallow, so it's mostly a cinnamon sugar donut with a bit of Nutella on top. I wasn't a fan of the sugar and wouldn't get this again. Dunkaroo Yeast donut topped with some kind of vanilla (?) icing, Nilla wafer crumbles, Teddy Grahams, and sprinkles. This was our least favorite by far. We did not like the icing and had no idea what the flavor was, and it definitely was not reminiscent of Dunakroos.

Decent donuts. Large and some were moist: triple chocolate was, Reece's pieces wasn't. $19 for 1/2 dozen but they are rather large. Good selection.

You get what you pay for at Rocco's. These doughnuts are MASSIVE and always beautiful. What makes them special is definitely the toppings and unique flavors that they put out monthly. Rocco's is also very consistent. You can expect that no matter what doughnut you're getting, the yeast donut or cake rings will always be the same - just vary by topping. This is a really good thing, since they've been open for so long and haven't changed their doughnut recipe. Besides their fun and unique monthly flavors, the good ones I always find myself going back to are the Boston Creme, Maple Bacon, and Apple Fritter. These are classics that are almost always be on the menu. I'm also pretty sure Rocco's has the best Boston Creme in Boston. It's a small shop with tons of options, friendly folk at the counter, and delicious photo-worthy doughnuts. What's not to love?

Having been to Rocco's now countless times, they have now become my bar for doughnut excellence. I get excited every month for the new fill doughnuts they offer (hands down my favorites). The Hostess cupcake is currently in the top 5, but I wait for the day they bring back cannoli, Ferrero Rocher, and even Tiramisu. There coffee is a nice blend as well, the only issue with this location I have is the size. But now that Westborough is open with ample space, pick whichever location is closer for you. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic doughnut shop! They have a good selection to choose from. I ended up getting the cookies & cream doughnut and was highly impressed. One of the best donuts I've had. They're pretty large compared to most doughnuts so be ready. Wish I was closer to the area to come back again.

We came early Saturday morning and there was already a short line outside. Thankfully didn't have to wait too long, but by the time we got inside (10ish) they were already sold out of a few flavors. We got half a dozen to try out including fruit pebbles, cookies and cream, butternut crunch, lemon danish, maple bacon, and apple streusel. These are HUGE donuts, much bigger than your standard donut you'd find anywhere else. The donut itself is okay, nothing too special, but the toppings and flavors are what make this place so great! The apple streusel was definitely a great fall flavor and the apple filling made the donut taste a little less dry inside. These donuts are best eaten the day you buy them and just get hard and stale pretty quickly after. They also serve coffee and bagels if you'd like to snag one of those as well.

There is only one other donut shop I've been to (& I've been to a lot) that tops Rocco's but man oh man do they deliver a massive (& shareable) donut. The flavors are thought out, the taste is 100% well executed and for the price (I think around $3 and change per donut), A BARGAIN for this quality. I've tried a few of their "usual" donuts such as the M&M donut, Cinnamon Toast Crunch donut and maple bacon donut. Delicious! That's all I can say is absolutely delicious. I truly don't think this place gets enough credit. This time around I got the strawberry shortcake donut and it was full of flavor and so fresh, I couldn't have asked for a better strawberry donut. Please come here and support them, they are a small business and I don't want them to ever leave me (or I would be more devastated than a breakup!).

Rocco's Doughnuts: Fruity Pebbles and Snickerdoodle.

When I first moved to Millbury, Rocco's was suggested to me, but I figured I can get it anytime since I only lived a few minutes down the street. A whole year goes by and I had moved to a few cities north of Millbury. Fast forward to today, I was craving for a dessert or snack and I remembered that I had never tried Rocco's. Today had to be the day. I drove 20 minutes to get to Rocco's around 10:20 AM. They're located in a small location with plenty of parking in front. I only had to wait outside for 2 minutes because there was a max limit of 2 customers at a time due to COVID restrictions. After entering their shop, there is an assortment of doughnuts laid out on the right hand side of the counter with the labels on them. 1/4 of them were already sold out by that time, so I chose the Snickerdoodle and Fruity Pebbles. I did notice that they also have drink options as well. Rocco's had touchless payment, that made it very convenient. Even though I didn't get to the doughnuts for another 5 hours, they were still delicious inside the bag. After taking them out of the bag, they are definitely LARGE doughnuts. The Snickerdoodle tasted similar to a cinnamon roll or cinnabon. The smooth cream in the center was a very nice touch. The Fruity Pebbles was very surprising and good! The icing was sweet and the Fruity Pebbles on top reminded me of childhood; you gotta try it if you have a sweet tooth. With the variety of doughnuts they provide and how delicious they are, I would say Rocco's is one of the best places around, hands down. Definitely stop in if you're nearby, you won't be disappointed.

I liked their donuts. They change their menu once a month so that is nice, but I wish they had more cake donuts! The donuts are VERY large. I really like the Oreo and chocolate mint in the batch that I got. I'm excited to see what other cake donuts they'll have in the future.

I ordered the Boston Benedict (pictured) and my boyfriend got 2 eggs, toast, and sausage (not pictured) we waited about 20-30 minutes for our food or more and we even came after the breakfast rush hour. We also got 1 glazed donut to try and it was raw and greasy! Our drinks also came in plastic cups? You know like the plastic paper Dixie cups lol... The ambiance was awkward and dirty, we could visibly see the grill which was caked with black charred gunk. We watched the cook continuously drop egg shells all over the floor from our seat and overall just dirty. Again, we witnessed all this until we got our food, I received my meal first and my boyfriend waited an additional 10-15 minutes for his meal so I was basically finished before he even got to eat. The only "decent" thing about this place is the dirt cheap prices but that also means dirt cheap ingredients as we could see all the products used by the cook as well. Unless you want to sit in a dirty atmosphere and eat raw donuts I would not suggest going here!! Save your stomach and go elsewhere.

Good location, tough parking if you can't get in their small lot and good luck scoring a table (i think there were only 2!) But that's not the reason for disappointment. It's the product. Magic cookie bars are one of my favorite sweet treats so I had to buy one (at a high cost of $7!) It's heavy and dense but the flavor... the crust was inconsistent. Too thick and too think at points. The taste... it tastes like an M&M (with a slight hint of coconut.) I could have saved myself a lot of money just buying a bag of M&M's. But I don't like M&M's! See the problem? (And there were small M&M's on the top which is ok but it was overpowering.) I also had to try something cupcake related right? My daughter got a huge slice of funfetti cake. I had one layer of the cake. I can share the frosting was thick and dense. I like it sweet and melts in my mouth. Thus was not that. The cake itself was dense too. I was my cake fluffy.
