the shelves of this CVS are extremely understocked every time that i visit, please stock!

Awful. Once again, I called ahead of time, and they said my medication was going to be ready the following day- I changed my entire schedule around, went to pick up my prescription the following day (today), as the internet also said that it was, "in process," meaning they are in the middle of filling said prescription... I arrive at the pharmacy, which is out of my way, on top of having to change my schedule around (because my time isn't as important as everyone else's obviously), & now the pharmacist made sure the staff knew to tell me that I cannot pick it up until tomorrow. Now I'm out of my medication & the pharmacist refuses to call my doctor to verify with him, and my entire schedule and plans are now not going to be fulfilled. This is an ongoing issue. This cvs apparently has had so much turnover and I finally see what (whom) the issue truly is. She just makes her own rules- no one is right but her: not the client, or the internet, or her own staff, or even my doctor!! I'd laugh if it wasn't so frustrating to deal with this every single month, perpetually. read more

I have to knock them down a star. They are definitely understaffed, a lot of the times the shelves are severely understocked. I also do not understand why the pharmacy literally has to close between 1:30-2:00pm for lunch. I agree they all need a break but to shut down the entire department at once is a bit over the top..... read more

My doctor sent my electronic prescription for my mothers yesterday and today I was told that the pharmacy didn't receive anything, until I mentioned something called E scribe (as requested by my doctor); all of a sudden the manager pharmacist was able to find my prescription request in their computer and told me that the computer placed an automatic hold for some reason, on the prescription and now I have to wait 30 minutes for them to prepare this prescription; for request sent yesterday. This is the 2nd time this has happened. Before this I used to have a Walgreens in north brunswick as my primary pharmacy for 8 years and I have never seen any issues like these with them ever. read more

Just another location conveniently located on applegarth road in monroe township, near a PNC bank. Standard cvs with a Mish mosh of everything. Pharmacy can get backed up and can be extremely slow but they are more than willing to answer any questions and help with any of your needs. Overpriced on many other items but it's more for convenience than shopping. They do run a sale flyer usually sales are okay but they don't always have item advertised. So better to check ahead. They have a drive thru for prescriptions which is great if you don't feel like getting out of the car. They are great at taking care of any insurance problems and keeping updates on allergies. Pharmacist goes out of his way to help in any way possible. Definitely even tho slower on filling scripts they make up for it in effort.. read more

CVS Pharmacy - Really are they trying to make me bad - Drugstores Near Me - Monroe Township, New Jersey

i am amazed that i am surrounded by so many bad reviews of this CVS! all of my interactions at their pharmacy have been solid and quite friendly...all questions answered clearly and promptly at all of the times if picked up prescripts. now if we were discussing prices of items stocked in the rows, well...that's a different matter....$$$. read more

If I could give them negative stars I would. This location is constantly out of stock on everyday medication and rarely ever get the prescription filled on time. Today they tried to over charge me for a medication by apply a discount card (that I don't have) and not putting it through my insurance. When I asked why, they claimed that it is because my insurance didn't cover the medication. Not sure how that is possible since it have been covered for over a year. After this I am not going back there unless I have no other option. read more

Customer service at this CVS location is horrible. I spent $500 on two days ago but I lost my receipt. Came back and ask for a copy of the receipt now but manager told me to have a sit......... 20 minutes.....still not getting any help yet.... read more

Absolutely the worst. It's a shame, because there are a lot of nice, competent people working at the pharmacy here, but the degree to which they are understaffed is pathetic. All they do is run around all day. Calling on the phone is a nightmare. Being left on hold for 15 minutes or even longer is very common. And any time you call you have to listen to the annoying recording and press a million buttons just to get in line and wait for an answer. But about 2 years ago I found the solution. I found a local, privately owned pharmacy only 2 miles away that took my insurance. The copays are the same or very close and the pharmacist is flexible and sometimes matches the copay. More importantly, I call, and when I do, they answer. Right away. A 2 minute call to them would be a 20+ minute call to CVS. SO glad I left CVS and glad I'm supporting a local business and they appreciate having me. The new place is closed on Sunday, which is rarely a problem, and if it is, I can get a scrip filled or speak to a pharmacist at CVS. Other than that, they are not deserving of my business or yours. read more

I have known well-managed CVS stores in the past, and this is not it. Lots of naggy "sell" texts, but not texts when an Rx cannot meet the promised tme. I would move our Rx away form this store, but the next closest whuch is in our plan for 90 day fills is 8x as far from home. read more

I called Monday to get a prescription that they have on file for me. I was told it would be ready on Wednesday, so I called them this morning to see if my prescription was ready and they said that it was on back order and they won't have it until tomorrow. Why didn't they text me they have my text number and tell me that?? This is not the first time that this has happened with one of my prescriptions. This has happened a number of times. I would give them a zero recommendation because I am totally sick of the CVS on Applegarth Road in Monroe. read more

Shingrax, the shingles vaccination has been backordered for many months. I picked up a prescription last week and asked about Shingrax and was told to call the next morning to make an appointment. I made the appointment for 5:30 today. I went to the pharmacy department to get the injection and was told that they were out of stock. I was annoyed as I left work early to get there for my appointment. My impression was that there is total chaos in the pharmacy as they could not even find the list of appointments for the shot. One woman said that there was no real pharmacist there, so even if they had my shot, there was no one there to administer it. read more
