If I could leave a negative star, I would. If it wasn't for convenience I would send my prescriptions to another location. The staff here has no customer service skills and make you feel unwelcome and burdensome. No matter who helps me, i can count of them having an attitude problem. Today in particular I had Frances ring me up. Besides "name and DOB" she said nothing else but had the audacity to role her eyes after I said thank you even though there was nothing to thank her for since the bare minimum was done. Ordered through the CVS app for in-store pickup. The pickup area was blocked by carts and a bike and looked like a staff-only area, making it unclear and uncomfortable to access. When I asked an associate for help, I was told with attitude to "just grab it," despite the blocked walkways. The apology that followed felt dismissive rather than genuine. If I hadn't urgently needed the medication, I would have canceled the order altogether. Disappointing experience and poor customer service. So hard to get help. I need to transfer my prescription from Walgreens because CVS is the only provider that gives me 3 month refills. I put in online request 4 days ago to transfer and never heard anything. I call the Pharmacy Friday night but said they may not be able to call about the because they were closing in an hour and to call back the next day. I called the next day but the robot doesn't even allow me to get through to a Pharmacist. It keeps saying I don't have a prescription for refill. We yeah, I don't that's why I'm calling but still won't let it through. Really they are trying to make it as difficult as possible to get help. read more

I never thought I'd write a review for a CVS, but was very happy about my experience here. First of all, this store is always deserted so you never need to wait in line for the knick knacks that you quickly need to grab, be it over the counter medicines, birthday cards, or photo prints. I printed a bunch of wedding photos because CVS had free 8x10s advertised online. When I first printed my 4x6s, the quality came out poorly. I talked to Scott and he helped me reprint everything (he even continued to reprint photos that were blurry until it came out really nicely.) The quality looks great considering how dirt cheap the photos are, especially compared to Shutterfly/Mpix etc. It was also nice to get them instantly vs waiting a couple weeks as people in the office wanted to see some prints. TL;DR - there's never any lines and the team was really helpful! read more

When I entered this CVS, it looked like there was a power outrage. About half of illuminations were turned off in the entire store, and the pharmacy was shutdown completely although it was during operating hours. It says it is lunch time. I have no idea why all of 5-6 pharmacy staffs have to evacuate shutting down the whole pharmacy. In the end, about 8 people were waiting in line, but a rude clerk was ignoring the customers. Customers in the waiting line were asking the pharmacy staff to bring the prescribed medicine, but the staff was chuckling and staring at people doing nothing. I stopped in today to pick up some deodorant and the cashier was very pushy about asking me for my cvs extracare card. When I said, "no thanks", she asked me why. I stated that I was paying cash and didn't care about any possible discount, so I wasn't going to produce a card. I was then questioned if I'm from out of town and that's perhaps why I didn't want to use the card. I politely declined again. I don't think it should be required that I register my purchase by tying it to the extracare card, so they can then sell the data. And I don't think the cashier has any business asking me where I live either. Next time I need deodorant, I'll go to a grocery store, hopefully a small private one that isn't collecting and selling my data. Rotten large corporations trying to become monopolies to they can take advantage of the consumer even more. read more

Went to this CVS this morning to get my COVID booster and flu shot. I blacked out shortly after in the store and the pharmacist and general manager were extremely kind, even giving me a free water to keep me alive. The pharmacist tenderly helped lower me to the floor so I didn't hit my head, as well as checking in on me regularly and made sure I had a safe way to get home. 10/10 would black out in this store again. read more

My mom and I went to this store to get our bivalent Covid immunizations. My mother is 93 years old, (and suffers from dementia) and told me she had to go to the bathroom. I have been to this store before, and recall having to walk across the parking lot to find a rest room because they have NO restrooms for customers. Well, they managed to track down someone that had a key to unlock an obscure restroom, and I need to thank Jody, the kind employee with glasses and a ponytail that unlocked and guided us to the restroom. She was very kind and patient, and let me go in with my mom who uses a walker. Hooray for Jody! We both got our immunizations without a hitch and were on our way! read more

Went to a different CVS today after moving and they charged me $60 for something I was getting here for TRIPLE $180, I asked if there was a mistake and they said that some CVS will not give you a discount on medications because they don't feel like it. I thought this was especially disgusting this location didn't apply the discount for me (even after mentioning im a student and can't afford insurance right now) they asked me to pull my phone out and forced me to do a survey right then and there and didn't tell me that's what it was and also demanded I give them five stars ... well how about one? This pharmacy doesn't really pay attention to customer's well being. I've been surprised a few times when I'm notified my prescription is ready by their system only to find out they don't even stock my medication anymore. Today takes that to another low. I wait in a long line, gave Frances my personal information to pull up the prescription, says she couldn't find it in the system and directs me to another counter for the pharmacist to help me to find my meds; the pharmacist finds my prescription and sends me back to Frances. I proceed to give her my information louder and slower so she can type it in the system properly this time around and she gave me the "excuse me?!" response. I was giving my birthdate in a clear and louder way because she obviously typed it in wrong the first time. This is the kind of service they provide. They've also cut down their hours of operation so good luck getting your prescription from this place. read more

Worst store ever. The pharmacist and her peer Bao Kim N are pathetic. Prescriptions never filled and to start off they do not even want your orders. Kept telling me to go to sunnyvale store and that it is open till mid-night. Everyone standing in line was sent away at 5.50 saying the pharmacy is closing and that they are not paid for overtime. Many in front of us still did not have their prescriptions filled. When we asked for the CVS store manager (George/Anudeep) also very casually told the cash register person that it was 6 pm and he is officially checked out of the store of the store. So even though the person was in store, he/she would not address customer issue because the clock just struck 6. I have never before seen such attitude anywhere before. So - Long story short. The pharmacy has set their hours to directly coincide with office hours. They are not open before work, during lunch break or after work. Honestly, when are working people supposed to pick up their prescriptions. I stopped by for a quick errand on the way to work. I hurried to get the 2 things I needed, and then went to the checkout to pay. There was nobody at the regular checkouts so I went to the self service one. When I scanned one item, a message got displayed on the screen that said "Please wait, help is on the way". Except, it was not. I waited a few minutes, the other self service station was out of order and there was nobody at any of the regular checkouts, there was no employee around. After another few minutes, I said "Hello? Is there anyone?" I waited a bit longer, then left otherwise I would have been late for a meeting. I think there was one lady re-stocking a shelf who decided that it was more important to continue stocking the shelf then to go unblock a customer and enable that customer to pay. Nobody explained to her that the way CVS makes money to pay her salary is by actually selling things to customers, and if they can't pay, CVS doesn't sell and doesn't make money. Unfortunately, because of lack of or bad training, this lady decided that it was more important to take 5-10 more minutes to re-stock the shelf then to step away less than a minute to unblock a customer at the self checkout. Pharmacy has repeatedly failed to fill prescription orders. One example, an order called in three days earlier was not filled, I then requested in person that they fill it and was told it would take 20 minutes. I came back two hours later, and it still had not been started. A long talk with the counter person and the pharmacist got the order started and completed 15 minutes later. I am moving all our prescriptions and will never do business with this store. I plan to tell my friends, too. read more

Oh this sinus pressure and cough are killing me! I was on my way to work then half way of my drive my sinus started acting up! I wanted to turn around and drive back home, but I didn't. May I add it was 5am and I was in desperate need of relief. Since I was five minutes away till I reached my destination, I pulled over to the side to summon my Yelp app. I searched for "24 hour pharmacies" and CVS came up on my search. Once I got the location mapped out, I headed out with the quickness. The parking lot was empty and I'm hoping the info on the Yelp page was accurate. When I walked up to the motion sensored door, a sigh of relief came out. They opened and I saw two employees working. I made my way to the cough medicine area and got some cough drops. Next, I was looking for some Vicks vapor rub and couldn't find it. One of the employees asked if I needed assistance and I gladly accepted. He helped me locate the Vicks. I gathered my supplies and made my purchases. Thank goodness for this CVS and the staff. I wouldn't have gotten through the day if I didn't find this place. I am 54 years old, lived here my entire life, my mom and dad and family have not ever used another pharmacy. The pharmacy service at El Camino and San Antonio location has gotten so bad, without sense of care or urgency. No one answers pharmacy calls, waited 30+ min for simple question. They claim I need my doctor needed to validate new prescription, when my expiration should be good through end of next month. Then, my doctor actually called me at home on a weekend to inform me that his interaction with my pharmacy was incredibly frustrating, WOW. They don't care, sad. Because there is only one cashier, customers are told to use the self check out machine. CVS has the worst self check out machines I have ever used. No customer is able to complete a transaction on them, resulting in frustrated people throwing their arms in the air and leaving the store. I haaaaate this CVS. Stay away. First of all, I've been here three times, and it smells really bad inside. Kind of sweet, almost like trash is rotting indoors. Gross. Second, the pharmacy refill line is super slow. A man cut in front of me and the pharmacist just let him do it and didn't ask him to wait his turn. It takes forever to even get to the counter. Third - the woman who was helping at the pharmacy counter (she's on the older side and African-American) looked at my birthday and made a Bible reference out of it. This is SO inappropriate in any customer service role - much less a pharmacy - and she clearly didn't pick up on my uncomfortable body language. I should be able to pick up a prescription without having to engage in a conversation about religion. I'm moving my prescription to Walgreens ASAP. read more

It's CVS. Love it or hate it, we all shop there when we find ourselves with a crazy cough that wont die down at 2AM. I refuse to shop at the 24 hour Safeway after midnight because its nearly impossible to get service. But the night crew at CVS is always responsive, courteous, and easy to get in and out when you're not feeling well. They'll even strike up a conversation with you if you're feeling up for it. Or if you're sick and just want to go, they'll check you out fast, even at 3:30 in the morning. For that reason alone, I am forever grateful for my local 24 hour CVS. Sure, they're not the cheapest, and drugstores attract all the bums, but the level of service I receive here is some of the best I've gotten. Most of the people leaving bad reviews have probably no idea how a pharmacy works, let alone understand that they're not the only customer in the store when they're "in a hurry." I just wish the pharmacy was open 24 hours and I'd transfer my scripts over from Walgreens! read more

Like most people's reviews, I'm confirming this pharmacy is terrible. Why does the US spend so much money on defense when all you need to do is put this CVS in a hostile country? That will ensure everyone in it dies because no one gets prescriptions they desperately need. I've gotten auto-bot texts saying that a prescription was ready, only to find that it wasn't even ordered. That's only if anyone picks up the phone in the first place. This CVS is about as well-staffed as the pharmacy in 'The Walking Dead'. If you do (by a miracle of god) reach a human on the phone, then good luck getting them to stay on the phone for more than 2 min as they blindly agree to whatever you say, like "you'll give up your first-born to me for ritual sacrifice?" For living in Mountain View you'd expect less of a dump. This place falls far below expectations of an autist child. Lines are always long as hell, the stock of normal stuff here is non existent. The Juice isle is baron with missing items everywhere. Staff here has no experience whatsoever it seems. Not to mention for some reason I always fall behind some couponing/penny pinching star of david, making my trip less than stellar to wait.
