it's located on Bleeker st you may not recognize this location. Self payment is 1st fl - most of foods are there, except for chocolates and candies. you'll need to use 5-6steps to go upstairs. There's no self payment. My friends wanted to return the one item right after he purchased, they required ID has to have a barcode. most of the store won't ask and not taking such long process. read more

Avoid this type place at all cost, very aggressive sales clerks and customers. People are literally ready to fight there. One miserable CVS store. I had a return - conditioner by Orbie, before buying it I asked a customer service man if possible to return it it doesn't work out. He said yes, no problem. Next day I come with my return, the system would not take it. Salesperson who helped me with it - said it's not returnable. I asked to show me on the receipt where that policy states. Salesperson was very rude and aggressive, manager Keith got involved and gave me solution to call customer service. Later I wanted to buy water, and that salesperson misunderstood me and instead of ringing it up, she actually returned that water. The salesperson was very rude and aggressive, annoyed to help, seemed like she did not want to be working there at all. Avoid this store at all cost, unless you need no help and can do self service so no interaction with unprofessional staff. read more

-5 stars!!! Came here to get passport photos. I understand there some standards, but when you see person hair is messed up and you don't have a mirror why would not you say it? This guy took 3 or 4 pictures of me - couldn't he show it before printing? Like why do I pay $18 for 2 pictures that are terrible quality but also so messed up. Customer service is terrible there. When I ask can we retake it since I don't like them at all. Women told me it is up to standards so I still have to pay for it. I basically paid for trash. Thanks CVS! If you cannot provide quality service then don't offer it. Make sure your staff at least tries to care. I work in customer service myself and it's not a big deal to be polite and understanding and say sorry. Terrible experience. The only person who is nice there is the guy at the pharmacy. read more

My health plan requires me to use CVS ("in-network) or their mail-order (which is really bad - used to be better). This store is closest to me so I was excited when it opened, but I don't like the self service checkout or the 8 foot long waste-of-paper receipt. The store isn't sufficiently staffed (no one to ask questions/assist or restock shelves). Rx is "ok" but I actually preferred when my health plan used DR/Walgreens. I'm hoping they survive and get better but I just got a text announcing reduced hours. Oh, well... There's something going on in the service industries. Understaffed, underpaid, supply chain problems, inflation. And if someone gets omicron (and we all will) they are out 5 days. It's a hard time in the world as well as on retail so I choose to hope it will improve. read more

I was so excited for a CVS to open close to my apt but have only had bad experiences here. It seems like more of a self-service "express" location, than a full-service one - if you have any questions or issues, you are out of luck. My main issue with this story is the woman stationed at the front of the store. She is extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. She gets annoyed if I ever need her to open the cashier, especially if she's the only one there. One time I had issues with a coupon and she made me feel as if I was inconveniencing her so much, that I ended up going to the Pharmacy in the back to see if the guy there could help. Unfortunately he got the same error, but at least he was apologetic and said he'd call the manager (which I assume was her). I ended up leaving and going to the Park/22nd St location where they rang up my transaction without issue. My other qualm about this location is that they don't carry quarter-gallon size of milk, so I've continued to go to the Duane Reade for that. I was tempted to give 1 star, but I'd like to give the benefit of a doubt for the rest of the staff. I just won't be coming back to find out. read more

I go to this store often. I was there yesterday picking up some supplies when one of the employees literally ran into me with a trolley full of trays of goods. It scratched the back of my right leg and ankle and I fell. This woman didn't even help me up. I stood up myself and she just walked away. First why are you moving stuff in the store at a speed when you can't see over the stuff. Second how about you help the person up? Third I finally found her in the store and showed her my bleeding leg and then she apologized. Come on cvs you make so much money you can hire and train better! read more

I got my passport photo taken here and while they said it was up to standard, when I went to my passport appointment I was told it's too dark and they wouldn't accept so I had to take another one and pay again. I went back to CVS to get a refund and they wouldn't provide it saying they can't do refunds on photos. Pretty terrible experience read more

While this is my go-to drugstore in the neighborhood (only because of the ridiculous coupons they keep sending me) and proximity, it's always sadly out of stock on a lot of items for extremely long periods of time and they don't seem to restock or overturn stock often. For example, they're still even carrying Christmas candy and it's April tomorrow. My main gripe is that the pharmacy tech or pharmacist, Michelle, is TERRIBLE. She's openly ambivalent, talks to you as though you're annoying her, and generally just acts like she doesn't want to be there. I've picked up prescriptions three times in the last month and a half and she's been the one at pick up. She just sits there in front of her computer until you've been standing there for five minutes and then you have to ASK her to help you at which point she heaves huge sighs, rolls her eyes, and then keeps you waiting just for good measure. I've even had another employee come help instead because she saw people in line waiting. When Michelle finally drags herself over, her attitude is terrible. She also won't answer questions or check out the other items you're carrying so you have to check out with her for just the prescription, then go check out in front for your other items. How is this customer service?? The first time this happened left a really bad taste in my mouth but I chalked it to maybe she was just having a crummy day. Guess that's just how she always is because it's happened three times now. The cherry on top is that she has the same attitude on the phone. She called about my prescription since I hadn't been able to pick it up for a few days. She was very aggressive on the phone and told me if I didn't pick it up that day, they would be putting the prescription back. Interestingly enough, when I finally got around to picking it up a day and a half later, it was still there. I've never had that experience at other pharmacies. I just switched to CVS Pharmacy for my prescriptions because I thought it'd be more convenient since I shop there all the time (used to get scripts through Duane Reade or Capsule when it's offered) but I'm going to be switching back just to avoid Michelle's bad attitude. The only saving grace of this place are the super nice and friendly workers in the front, especially the greeters at the door and the helpers by self-checkout. They're always so nice!! read more
