The pharmacy is pretty incompetent. You'll receive various generics without being told they're changing them, and don't even bother with their delivery service for medication refills. Signed up to use it since my work week was busy and picked the 11am-4pm delivery time frame. I get a call at 7:45pm while I am getting home saying they are trying to deliver it at my work where no one is at that time. i call the pharmacy, they say "don't worry, they'll bring it up and we will do the time frame you signed up for tomorrow." I get a call today stating that they are unable to deliver it to my work and suggests I should transfer my medication to a different CVS. When asked if they can do the transfer, they say "no, we can't but you can get that sorted out yourself." Already angry, I call another nearby CVS and they said they cannot refill because the status says "out for delivery." So this has no become a complete mess for something that was unnecessary and full of miscommunication from their pharmacy. And I still don't have my prescriptions. read more

Pharmacy staff are terrible and lazy. You have to be on their backs for days just for one refill. People's medicine isn't a joke. Zero work motivation and they couldn't care less about customer satisfaction. They won't let you know if something is wrong with your prescription till you call a million times. The self checkouts are always either just cash or just card or not working at all. I've seen 3 expired snacks in the store and their prices are super high. The staff watch you like a hawk and make you feel uncomfortable shopping. read more

I go out of my way and pass two Duane Reades to go to CVS. On top of attractive discount offers, their staff is attentive, polite, and helpful. A night and day of a difference from understaffed Duane Reade and its crabby employees. read more

This CVS is close to my job so it's perfect for lunch time runs. It only has 4 pages in the ad, fyi so it won't have all of the weekly promotions. The line is always super long but they move pretty quickly. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I always feel like there's one in every aisle. haha. Customer service is great. ZERO star for the manager. He needs a major training on customer service. It was the last day of the sale. Showed him the sale item post it online from his store on my phone, he claimed they do not have sales at that store and walked away. While another item I wanted to purchase also a sale item online but the store doesn't put special yellow sale price tag on the shelves only when u scan items will it showed that it is exactly the price as I saw online. It's telling me that this store scam customers by taking their sale items off the shelves + changing the bar code before the end of that sale day. Otherwise, all the staffs are wonderful and this store would have my 5 star rating. read more

This CVS is definitely on the busy side, but the store is (miracle of miracles) adequately staffed, and so the wait time never seems particularly long. The store is fairly clean (by NY standards--the suburban stores always seem cleaner to me), well-organized, and frequently restocked. Items are fairly priced for a convenience store. I also find the pharmacy here efficient and quite competent. I've never called in a refill that wasn't filled on time (except once--but they called me that morning to tell me that there was a shipping delay so I wouldn't waste my time coming in). Best of all, this CVS is extremely convenient to the subway and many businesses in the financial district. I frequently drop in after lunch to do some random shopping or fill prescriptions. read more

The Pharmacy is busy but they do a great job of servicing their customers. I have been treated really well here and recommend them highly. They go out of their way to make sure you are getting your medicine. Imagine a Manhattan pharmacy that is so busy providing great service that you would not get in a less busy store. The rest of the store is well staffed. Duane Reade has less people walking around providing directions or help. read more

This is a covid-19 review. I have to admit I have not been the world's greatest customer ever. However I really feel covid-19 let down. I purchased CVS brand adhesive bandage tape that did not stick. The primary function of tape is sticking. I also purchased a first aid kit in the travel-size section the advertised antibacterial bandages only contained standard non anti-bacterial bandages. I have to admit I typically would not purchase CVS and items. I tend to go for name-brand. However name brand was not available so I did purchase as they covid-19 put it "better than nothing". However money spent under items that do not serve their purpose is not better than nothing makes. I steered from the CVS pharmacy ages ago due to profiling concerns. For the longest the non-pharmacy drugstore thought I was a man but biologically I have always been a female. They profiled me as a man until I changed body soap. I used to complain about being advertisements products, although I know more research but it goes into these types of products. I do birds, yet, I really felt covid-19 let down. Forget the first time I saw the industrial carpeting indeed Needham Massachusetts. It was hideous then and it's hideous now. read more

+ Convenient to the 2/3/A/C - seems there's never enough staff on hand; 1 cashier with really long lines and self-serve kiosks are ALWAYS broken with hand written notes "credit only no cash back" and employees who are pleasantly "greeting" at the door, but are it so pleasantly excited to be there, period. - pharmacy always seems understaffed and overly eager to end the day; on one occasion (I've detailed this experience in a store survey, I'll spare yelp the headache) pharmacy associate explained my Rx would be available for pickup next day b/c I dropped off at 8:15pm, pharmacy closes at 9pm, thus any drop offs after 8pm could not be filled same day. I made the mistake of not updating my records at PCP office and an Rx was sent here on Friday last week, went to pickup 5pm Sunday; line was 5+ ppl long w/ 2 cashiers, 1 complaining that it was busy at 5:30pm, pharmacy closing at 6pm. (Look, we don't want to be there any more than you do! ESPECIALLY on a Sunday, with less than impressive train schedules, pay train fare to come BACK to the crowded dirty store, PLUS waiting 20+ mins to pick up meds b/c the pharmacist didn't want to waste her precious time filling my Rx 45 mins before the pharm is set to close two days prior. But, I won't make this about me.) - Pharm constantly out of stock in meds, causing me to have to come back on several occasions it take my Rx's elsewhere.. For this reason I've switched to the CVS on 34th/3rd. - Unfortunate store is neglected as it sits in high-traffic location within walking distance to NYC trains, NJ PATH, many Hotels, Pace University, a hospital, restaurants, shopping on Broadway, World Trade Center traffic.. It would be beneficial for ownership to put more TLC into this store. read more

One of the staff, Judah is incredibly rude and condescending. The rest of the staff is great but the brand and store's image is being tarnished by this poorly trained, rude employee. I was transferred to CVS at Fulton Street as my pharmacy after a change in insurance. They consistently messed up my prescriptions, had poor attitudes and a lack of attention to detail that is very worrisome for a pharmacy. There was no communication between pharmacy managers and they made the entire process painful. I highly recommend going out of your way to use a different CVS. read more

People say hello and goodbye and here I always feel welcome. but when I walk at other stores and the personnel does not even look at you I understand why they are always empty. They also let my dog in which is invaluable as every dog owner knows how stressful it is to leave a dog outside thinking of somebody stealing it because you needed a piece of candy! read more

I've been going to this pharmacy for several years now. Over the years the pharmacy has gotten worse and worse. When you call no one really care to go out of their square box to lend a helping hand. I've never seen pharmacists or staff like them anywhere. Granted not ever single employee is bad. But it always states from the top with leadership. The fish rots from the head. I highly suggest no one ever going the this cvs pharmacy! No customer service and they could careless whether you pick up your prescription either from them or elsewhere. On two occasions an item for my baby was out of stock and the store manager offered to call a couple of different locations to see if it was available and then placed an order for us. As being a previous CVS employee I was shocked at the treatment received by the overnight manager, Nathan at this CVS location. I walked into this CVS location gathering warmth in the front area for two minutes on a cold night with my girl friend. This manager instantly kicked us out with no explanation. Nathan the overnight manager insisted we would leave for no reason what so ever and would not let me speak or shop like I had planned to. This experience was outrageous and leaves me no other option but to have this issue addressed by CVS corporate. I have never had such a terrible experience by simply walking into a CVS trying to purchase items. No commotion was caused and the fact that this manager, Nathan, was abusing his authority to kick me out of CVS for no reason at all. It saddens me and displays the discrimination towards certain customers. I hope no other CVS shoppers have to experience what i did. I recommend that people do not visit this location when Nathan the overnight manager is working. Not only was i forced to leave the store for no reason what so ever I was almost assaulted by a stranger after being kicked out. This overnight manager Nathan, put me in a dangerous situation and I believe he is unfit to be a manager at all. read more
