Throughout my time in the store, she repeatedly followed me around as though she suspected me of shoplifting. Every time I looked up, there she was. I even moved to the opposite side of the store, and shortly after, she appeared there as well. Once I realized what was happening, I decided to head to the front and check out. I specifically chose not to use self-checkout because I wanted her to ring me up directly. I had a question about my purchase that I expected would have a simple explanation. Instead, she spoke in circles, and I genuinely could not follow what she was trying to say. After asking for clarification, she responded, "I've already told you three times. What would you like to do? Are you gonna buy something or not?" At that point, I paused and asked, "Are you okay?" because I believe in giving people grace. We all have difficult days, and I wanted to give her the opportunity to reset the interaction. She replied, "I'm fine. I just don't know what else to tell you. I don't know how the system works." And honestly, that would have been a perfectly acceptable answer from the start. There's nothing wrong with saying, "I don't know." The next step should simply be finding someone who does know. I hope management or corporate sees this and provides additional coaching. Customers should not feel followed or profiled while shopping, and they certainly should not be spoken to rudely when asking questions. If an employee doesn't know the answer, honesty and professionalism go a long way.

Costco, Walmart, Kroger. My dr suggested I try a local pharmacy but warned me they would likely not accept my insurance. So I tried Geist; i needed my medication and it is pretty close to my house and work. Thank freaking goodness i did. 10000/10. Not only did they have the rx in stock (woo woo), but they also stopped everything they were working on to fill it right then, they took their time getting to know me and my needs, and they went above and beyond to make sure my insurance accepted it. Btw- cvs has my insurance for all my other prescriptions and they still didn't apply it to this rx. Like what?? It was truly one of those moments where I felt like I was in a hallmark movie or something I didn't realize customer service still existed, and I love that I didn't have to talk to an AI operator for 10 minutes to get my rx filled. I will be using them for all of our family's rx needs moving forward.
