This chain store is not available anywhere in the west coast. My first encounter to a Meijer was while on one of my vacations in 2017. I really enjoyed shopping at this store. The location is large and was conveniently close to where I used to reside in Noblesville which was less than 2 miles. This store was always clean, bright and organized. It reminded me of a Walmart with a Target upscale feel. LOL! Everything is under one roof: -Food/Snacks/Drinks -Frozen goods -Produce goods -Miscellaneous Plants/flowers -Women's clothing -Men's clothing -Children's/Baby clothing/baby food -Garden/Landscape items -Household items -Kitchenware -Children's toys -Deli section ***and so much more!! There is an app available that I would use to get really great deals, sales, clearance, coupons. The more I shopped, I would earn some cash back which helped towards future shopping. You can easily rack up the cash. The clothing offered here were quality higher end known brands. I recall the clothing were really nice , current trend and stylish. This is my go-to Meijer. Close to work and monthly offers (coupons) either via mail or online account (but not by app). Great for recycling my plastic bags. I accepted their deals for $3.99 on this "healthy," popular Dave's Bread (powerseed) so I got to try it. Good taste with lots of seeds around the perimeter. I would buy again if ever at most that price. I wish there will be more and always working self-check price machines. The self-check register attendants need to pay more attention to people who are checking out and needing their assistance vs. their own talking needs so hire introverts for that role. Also, stock free sanitizing wipes for carts especially in the winter months when people are sick. read more

I was just reminded of why I stopped coming here. I use the Flashfood app to get deals on groceries (and to help reduce food waste), and the way that this store is set up is not conducive to you being able to place an order and receive the items that you purchased. Most other stores that participate in this platform either has the refrigerator located in the customer service area or they have it locked (usually both). This allows the employees to see what you're getting and check that against your order. This store is working off of the honor system. You grab your items from the fridge near the deli and you're supposed to go "check out" in customer service before you leave. I won't speculate as to why, but while my bag is almost always checked for accuracy, I've seen customers walk up, raise their bag, give their name and leave... likely with half of my items in it! Today, I drove 10 minutes out of my way (adding 20 minutes to my trip) to secure a deal on several bottles of Naked juice. I get to the fridge and there isn't even 1 bottle in there... not 1! Some thief saw them and thought "ooh, free juice!" and since the store doesn't care to check, they just walk out the front door. I received my refund today, but in the past, I've encountered reps who didn't have the handheld device and promised that they'd issue it later. It did not happen, so today, I insisted that it be done while I was there. Other store locations would've offered to get replacements for me, but nothing was offered here aside from an apology. As I type, there are still several Naked juices available in the app, so this will likely happen to someone else too. Do better, guys! read more

It's a little pricier than your average super market/department store, especially with Walmart across the street. Having said that, it's very clean and the shopping experience is ideal. We get our prescriptions from this pharmacy and they have an excellent drive thru system that always goes by very quickly. read more

A big box store with a large grocery section. Competitive pricing in this highly saturated grocery market (8 plus 3 wholesale clubs). Though it's a little out of the way for me, sometimes the sale pricing is worth the trip. Always well stocked and several checkout cashiers to make it painless. read more

Price of Meijers refillable water jumped 20%. Why? Did water out of the tap go up 20%...no! Is it the tariffs, no water isn't imported is it! Meijers is ripping off its customers!! Got to rip off the hard working Americans and make more money off the cheapest resource in the entire Universe! Then, when you check out at the self ckout, they stop your order and make you stand there while their employee comes over and checks out your cart, with the water bottles you just filled and input, and makes you watch the video of everything you just did, like your some low life criminal, and then it's OK. Bought about 9 koi and goldfish from here, they would die within 24 hours. Tested the water many times, found no issues or anything with our kit. I wouldn't recommend buying any fish from here. I would recommend going to petsmart or uncle bill's for fish. Never had any issues with uncle bill's and petsmart's fishes. read more

There was a person behind the customer service desk and 3 standing around, seemingly having a social conversation but the desk was roped off. How is that even a thing? I really like this Meijer location. It is always well stocked, and the way the store is arranged makes it easy for me to grab the items on my list without spending a lot of time. This store is very clean, and the employees are friendly. The number of self checkout registers allows for a quick check out process. Before moving to Indiana, I've never been in a Meijer before. There's so much under one roof. Clothing, groceries, houseware, it's a one stop shop kinda place. The shelves are always stocked and there is a lot of room for shopping carts. There are many self checkout stations too. They also have a mobile app like Kroger where you can view their sales and add coupons to their loyalty card. I wish there were more vegetarian focused products/brands, but still a good option for a weekly grocery store run. read more

Called corporate to try and speak with manager to be transferred to one twice and after 30 minutes I left my cart and left. This review probably has more to do with Shipt than it does with Meijer, but I placed my order through Meijer, so this is where the review is going. I placed an order that never came. My order was delayed by an hour, then a Shipt shopper texted that they were filling my order. They did not say they were no longer planning to come. When I tried to text them, the thread was closed. I called Customer Service to find out where my order was and they said it was canceled. I did not cancel it. When pressed, the CS agent said it was "inconvenient" for the driver to check out at Meijer. What does that mean... there was a line? He did not know what it meant; but, he told me that my money will be refunded. How was I charged if the order was canceled? This is so confusing and gets me no closer to receiving my groceries. Bright and shiny and suburban and new feeling. That sums it up. But, really, there are a few key standout reasons I recommend Meijer and this location in particular. 1.) there household plant and flower section always knocks me off my feet. Great prices and variety. I also noticed this location offered a large landscaping section. The gardener in me was realllly wanting to blow a wod while it's still only 30 degrees outside. 2.) they have a surprisingly large clothing section with clearance racks galore. I was impressed by some of their clothing designs. It's no Target but it's still sharp and I'm always down for clearance racks. 3.) friendly customer service. Plain and simple but it goes a long way. I would love to throw down a fifth star but I felt like their deli section was a little lackluster. I rolled in hoping to find some creative salads by the pound but variety was quite limited. Deli sections like this have tough competition nowadays with stores like Market District and Kroger raising the bar. Overall, a positive and smooth experience. read more

This review is solely based on the customer experience. I went shopping tonight, around 11p, could this be the issue? I can't say for certain, either way I was eager to purchase a certain brand of frozen chicken and once I checked out and walked to the car I looked at my receipt only to notice that there was no discount on the chicken whatsoever. It is now midnight, the young lady shutting down the door allows me to come back in. I approached Joshua C. who is working self-checkout (along side a marvelous young lady that help me during checkout) and clearly working closing which was 12:00 midnight. I approached him, I showed him that my purchase did not match what the sale suggested it should have been and each time I attempt to show him a picture of the price the product he was very dismissive, he would turn his head and look away from me, he would have one word response to me and look away, he ultimately said there's nothing I can do about it anyway and look the away again. I maintain my composure and asked if customer service was still open and once again he said they close at 10:00 and looked away. When I think about customer experience this young man missed mark. I'm not sure if the issue is that it was closing and that he was ready to go home or that this pretty brown woman approached him with an issue that she was looking to have resolved (I was never pushy, I just showed him photos in my phone that I had taken to pass on to a friend who could come to the same store and take advantage of the sale.)Whatever the case maybe, I simply told him that's fine I'll just come back tomorrow but for the majority of that conversation I was looking at the back of his head and back. Now what's interesting about this all is that my husband and I walked in and I looked at all of the Meijer employee photos on the window and I said that's not a very diversified group. I came in for one thing during one of our Spring of 2019 rain monsoons for my wife. When I asked a kindly gentleman by the name of Sam in produce for help, he replied that he had never heard of it, but he'd check into for me. He came back with an answer on where he thought it would be located. I thanked him for his assistance and went to the deli counter, figuring I'd go check it out in a bit after picking out a few things. The next thing I know, Sam is beside me and says "Sir, are you the guy I was helping a few minutes ago?" I replied that I was and he held out his hand with the item that we'd been searching for! He said that he wanted to make sure it was where he thought it was, went to check it out, and then found me in the store to hand deliver it right to my cart! This is without a doubt the best customer service I've ever had at a Meijer. Same went above and beyond his job description to help me and I was truly thankful AND astonished at his level of commitment to help a complete stranger. What a super nice guy! This store needs to give Sam a raise. I stopped a manager and told her about the great service I'd just received. I hope that she noted it in his file and that it helped him somehow. If that store was full of people like Sam, I'd go out of my way to do all of my grocery shopping there because I know I'd be taken care of. Wow. Well let's start with the decrepit of a person that the pharmacist is he has no sense of customer service no will to help customers and an absolute pain to talk to his buddy the technician no clue about what his job entails no training skills and between both can't necessarily make a full worker. This Meijer will overcharge you, hold on to your wallet. On 4 separate occasions, things were marked on sale, you go to the register and it rings up full price. I even went back to validate the sale was still within the valid date range. They then apply a "coupon" at the register when you raise it with the cashier. One item was $79.99 full price and $49.99 on sale. $30 win for Meijer if I hadn't noticed. What if you have 100 items in your cart. Will you notice? Probably not, and at this point it's gone on for 2 months and happened on 4 separate occasions, I can't believe this is some system snafu and seems deliberate. We're done shopping there. Turned them and video evidence in to the Indiana Attorney General for investigation. read more

Meijer literally has it all- from groceries, to clothing, and electronics, you can typically find what you need here. After recently updating this store, it looks better than ever, everything is very well organized (food on the right hand side, pharmacy, etc on left). I'm a fan a meijer for many reasons. First off, there's typically great prices and deals. They have a system called mPerks (this applies for gas too!) where you can accumulate points and clip coupons, similar to Kroger. I prefer this meijer because the gas station has E85, which I can utilize and same some extra bucks. I almost ALWAYS have a $2 off coupon - doesn't seem like a lot but any extra money off helps when you're on a budget! My second favorite thing about this meijer are the options. I utilize a lot of organic and gluten-free/dairy-free ingredients and they have options for these here, probably more than Kroger in my opinion. They carry my favorite brand of paleo mixes, Simple Mills, and I'm so so happy about it. Shameless plus for simple mills... it's amazing. Finally, on weekends they have cool demonstrations where you can get free things! I once got a free paring knife and a phone cleaning kit for watching the demo. During one of the demos I purchased a mandoline for my kitchen, which I 100% do not regret. Last time there was a demo for some super cool instant heating pads, but I did not purchase those. I will say it is usually pretty busy/hectic- so expect long lines on weekends for sure. read more

I'm a late night shopper - so this review is primarily considering the hours past midnight. I think it's a great store. The employees all leave me alone while I shop - which is what I like. If I do happen to have a question they are always friendly. The wave I get when I walk into the store is one of recognition and not one of pure misery like I see in the faces of the Wal-Mart employees across the street. It's nice to shop someplace where the cashier isn't practicing making a noose between customers. They handled the remodeling very well and very quickly and it came out looking fantastic. Yes, the items you buy are generally .25c to $1.00 more than across the street. It's worth it though. Ugh. I didn't get my groceries ordered in time to pick up my ClickList at Kroger today so I ended up here on a late Sunday afternoon. Now that I'm here, I remember precisely why I pick up at Kroger. I positively hate grocery shopping and even more so on a Sunday afternoon. It's madness around here. Stockers are blocking aisles with their crates, boxes, and carts. Children are going wild, shelves are empty, and apparently people come here for a nice leisurely stroll down the center of the aisles, thereby effectively creating a traffic jam. Also the Shipt people are no joke...don't get in their path while they're knocking stuff off their lists! Scary, indeed! I've not been impressed with Meijer's produce....like ever. Today the avocados were so ripe you could practically put your thumb thru them. Why? Why would anyone leave produce out like that and try to sell it? Get it together, Meijer. Get it together. This place has gone down hill fast. I've been coming here for 10+ years and haven't had issues until 4 months ago. A good majority of the items I get every week are NEVER in stock and this makes me have to make two trips to the store every week and sometimes they're still not stocked on my second trip. I've tried going on different days and times and it's still the same issue. Spoke to the store manager and he didn't seem to care and just explained to me how their stocking process goes. Well your stocking is horrible! Not only do they have stocking issues, but their fruits and vegetables and on the lower end. I get apples that are fine when I pick them but then someone turn bad the next day or two (I even tried changing the kind of apples). Look closely and you'll see moldy oranges and strawberries. Their meat section is slim picking most of the time. If you want deli items expect a very long wait time and plan accordingly. They're extremely slow. Expect lines to be long when checking out. The only reason I would give them one star, besides the fact that that's the lowest rating, is due to the fact that they give my kids free cookies. And yes, it has been open for 10 years. read more

Prefer Meijer 1000x over Walmart, wish there was a Target in Noblesville. Not that 116th street is super far, but just far enough I don't go as often as I used when I lived in Fishers. Love mPerks, always getting random 6 bucks off and I'm the worst at "clipping" coupons. Also like all the self checkout lanes despite them always seeming to think there is something on the dumb belt and yelling at me! Food selection is fine, there are a few things they NEVER have in stock like my favorite Diet Peak Tea which makes me mad. I love the 10 for 10 deals they seem to always have and the buy 5 get 5 bucks off. All my kids favorites seem to always be in sale (Mac and cheese, spaghettios, etc). The store is very clean and staff have always been helpful when needed. I like that I can get my kids some clothing there too that is cute and stylish. I am SO mad a full service TCU isn't there anymore!!!!! Also couldn't find all the school supplies we needed last week. Oh well, overall my family of 6 is satisfied! read more

An excellent place to shop. I think Meijer sushi is the best you can find at any grocery store in the area. They even offer sushi rolled in cucumber instead of rice. My other favorite is the Greek Pasta Salad in the deli. Pair with the rotisserie chicken and you will have a fantastic lunch or side to take to a party. read more

This is my local grocery store. I go here all the time. At night between seven till 5 o'clock in the morning all workers are out stocking all night but during the day when lots of people are there they are nowhere to be found. It makes it extremely unpleasant to go there and shop unless it's super early or super late at night. read more

The Meijer located at 17000 Mercantile has really gone down hill since 2021. I have shopped this store on a weekly basis since 2006. My regular grocery bill ranges between $150 - $300 per week. This does not include trips where I run in for a few items or shopping during holidays. The first issue I have had repeatedly since 2021 is this - promotional prices will be listed on the shelf but when you get to the check out the items don't ring up correctly. When I call it to the attention of the cashier they don't call someone in the department to check, have a manager check, but instead argue with me and usually do not honor the advertised price. The second issue is with MPerks - on a weekly basis at least 3-5 MPerks do not ring up correctly, when the cashier is alerted to the situation the first thing they say is - 'Are you sure you clipped the mperk?' Seriously? I'm shopping from the clipped coupons. And finally, the cashier argue with me about the above mentioned situations and often times blame it on the fact that they don't gave enough employees to get ad tags changed. Your guests don't care.
