If there was a lower rating I would give it you can't get threw by phone you have to leave a message and hope they call back. The people in the pharmacy are rudexand act like there doing you a favor. They never tell you if it's you last refill they would rather wait and surprise you next time you run out this is the worse CVS I have ever been to and they don't want to fill pain mess at all! Customer service is horrendous. I placed an online order on CVS Photo almost a month ago. It was a large print that was being shipped to the store, but when UPS transferred the package over to USPS, I lost tracking information. It's fine, I thought... since the package was already at the local post office. I visited the store 4 times in the last month. 1st visit was a week after USPS had them, but I accepted that they might not have received them yet and left. 2nd visit, the cashier working went through each and every 4x6 order to find my 11x16 print... I kindly mentioned twice that it was a large print that wouldn't be fit in that small envelope. Still no luck. 3rd visit, I called in prior at this point and was told 1/2 of the packages had arrived. To my dismay, no one could find the prints. It was late at night so I let it go and said I'd come back another time when my second print came in. Fast forward to today... 4th visit. I ensured that BOTH my packages were in via phone call. I go into the store, and there's no cashier in sight. When she finally returns, I tell her I'm there to pick up a print that was mailed there. She took out their store prints and I restate that it's a large print that was shipped in. She quits looking immediately and overheads her manager, Dave. 10 minutes go by, 4 overhead pages, but still no Dave... At this point, I'm frustrated so I say, "clearly, this isn't working, is there another way to reach him?" She says no and pages him for the 5th time. At this point, there's a long line of customers she's attending to so I'm just awkwardly waiting around until she done. When the line finally subsides, I ask her if she could look harder for the package. I explain that there's multiple packages on top of the machine that could be mine. She doesn't. She says the manager would have it. Now, we're a little over 20 minutes in, 7th page asking "Dave to register" and Dave finally strolls to the front. He finds my packages... guess where they were - on top of the machine, exactly where I asked the cashier to look! I tell him that it's absurd that the cashier had to page him 7x. He states that he had an issue in the back at the pharmacy... I told him if that were the case then he should've communicated that earlier rather than have a customer wait and his employee overhead him so many times. Although he didn't apologize, he did provide me a $10 gift receipt for the inconvenience. Not worth the frustrations! I've been coming here for years and at least 75% of the time the customer service has been disappointing. Save yourself the hassle and go to another location. read more

If I could give this Pharmacy a ZERO, I would. The customer service is horrible. The women on the phone are not only nasty but are liars. My doctor faxed 3 scripts for my husband and I called every hour just so they could lie and say they never received the fax. The 4th time I called and spoke with the manager who then goes to say, they had the script but could not fill it. I called in a prescription refill at around 2pm this afternoon. I knew the pharmacy wouldn't be open as late as it is during the week, but I was shocked when I showed up at 6:30 and found out that on Sundays they close at 5:00 pm. That is UNHEARD OF - it's not a mom and pop joint in Hooterville (with apologies to Hooterville and moms and pops everywhere). You'd think the idiot pharm tech could have let me know that they close so early on Sundays. That about sums up my feelings for this CVS. Their prices are ridiculous (though I think Walgreen's is worse). I saw the same mascara I had just bought at Walmart for $4 more; the identical Almay mascara my daughter scored at Dollar Tree was priced at $8.50 here. The bagged sucking candy I buy at Walmart for $1.08 (when it's in stock, which is hardly ever) is 2.19 here. You get the picture. And this CVS is usually very messy and disorganized. I also needed to find a dental item. Normally, I can never find any floor help here. But I struck gold because a young clerk, who was supposed to be cleaning up and restocking the cosmetics aisle, was slacking off and texting on her cellphone, so she wasn't moving anytime soon. Naturally, they no longer carried what I needed. Oh, can't we bring back the old Blutman and Weiser Rexall that used to be on the corner of Kings Highway and East 12th Street??? I consistently have issues with a male pharmacist in that store. He is rude and confrontational. I have asked him multiple times to tell his technicians to tell customers that his store closes early on the weekends. He flat out refuses to do so. What I find most interesting is that his co-workers are aware the level of his poor behavior is and they shrug it off. read more

Wish 0 stars was available. First of all this review is directed at all CVS pharmacies. I have had multiple horrible experiences from CA to New Jersey. Most recent experience was today. My husband had a CVS telemed appointment and was given a prescription. I received confirmation that prescription was sent to a pharmacy in Target that is closed for the holiday. I called this pharmacy and was pretty much informed that they coukd not see the prescription in the system and they have no way of locating. I called the customer assistance line and was also informed they could not find the prescription. The suggestion is that I book another appointment Are you kidding me. i already paid for the first appointment. Shame on you CVS. After I was given the wrong medication in CA I stated I would not even buy bandaids from CVS I still feel the same. I will do all in my power to make sure my husband NEVER has another prescription sent to CVS. I will pay out of pocket to another pharmacy if need be By the way educate your staff that CA is California not Canada. read more

This Pharmacy is a disgrace! Ever since Vijay left the pharmacy is useless. The staff often lets the phone ring 8 times before answering. They sit there chatting out of sight while people are waiting to pay. The new male pharmacist is an unhelpful sorry excuse for a human being, and the icing on the crap cake is the hours of operation! It was bad enough closing early on weekends when it is most convenient, now this 8PM closing is a real stab in the back! read more

This store is generally slow in service. I used to work at a pharmacy that was privately owned, not chain, and my old boss would never allow the customers to wait as much as I wait at this location. Slow service is commonplace in both the pharmacy department as well as the front of the store. Sad thing is that it's the only pharmacy around so I have no alternative. Horrible service and organization in the Pharmacy Department. My boyfriend and I have gotten several automated calls to pick up medication then we get there and it's not there. You can tell when they are searching for prescriptions that they lack organizational skills. They are currently withholding a prescription from my boyfriend although his doctor has called 3 times to okay it. read more

Busy store. They didn't have everything I was looking for. Line at register was long. I also noticed that they overcharged me $.20 on an item when I left the store- not a big deal but I get annoyed when stores dont have the correct price posted with the product or when it rings up differently at the register. read more

CVS pharmacy on route 1 in north Brunswick doesn't have good customer service. The lady staff over the phone was extremely rude and impatient to give any information that I asked for. Overall bad customer service and I am considering to use other pharmacy options. read more

I lost over 10 minutes of my life waiting for the cashier to stop talking to two customers. When I finally walked up to the counter, one of the ladies stayed and continued talking to the cashier. Finally, she left and the cashier started making chitchat with me! This isn't a coffee house, it's a retail establishment. read more

Always reliable when I'm in a pickle. Really expensive though. Make sure you have a coupon or a rewards card.
