I went to Walmart as i usally do . I used my mothers Insurance card which is not a physical card. She is a Senior with Dementia and I have Power of Attorney . MICHEAL the store Manager first approaced with an Attitude which is always his Deamenor . It appears that he expect problems even when their isnt . I say this because he hostile before he Even knows whats going on. He told me i couldnt use my mothers card that was a virtual card in my phone. He than said he would not Serve me . He told the cleark to not help me. I was so upset and i told him hes a jerk and that he always has an attitude . He engaged in the back n forth argument. I started to leave than i tirn around and went back to customer service and took a picture of the poster of the store manager. I asked a Boy named EDGAR to tell me if the manager was in and he refused to give me any info and turned to another cleark and told him to not give me any info. I said why did you tell him not to tell me anything He stated because he heard me and MICHEAL engaging in an Argument.. i took out my phone and began recording the situation. I said your really not gonna help me. He again said No . MICHEAL told them to go into the back and than said to leave and that he was gonna have me escorted out . I said for what He called 2 guys who said they were Coaches , i aled what that meant they said they were managers. Their names were CHAD and GABE . I ask them what they were going to do , throw me out. The said No , but warned me. that I could not RECORD BAD BEHAVIOR. Apparently, if you need paint at Walmart, you press a button in the paint section and a await the arrival of associate. Sounds simple, right? Except nobody answered it. After waiting for what seemed like an eternity, I hunted down an associate who informed me that only someone from Electronics can unlock the paint. Great! Except the Electronics line was approximately the length of a Disney ride on a Saturday. (During spring break) So unless you enjoy scavenger hunts and standing in long lines for basic service, I'd steer clear of this place. Bring snacks if you're feeling brave. On my walk through from the front to the electronics dept, I noticed that the apparel section was immaculately organized and fully stocked which is impressive for any big store. I also enjoyed taking a picture with a giant octopus plushy that was priced at $50. I didn't walk out with it though... had to fight the urge to impulse buy. :-) read more

2 out of 3 things I needed are out of stock even though it's showing up as having six on stock. Of course asking the associates on the floor is a joke because they direct you to customer service who directs you to their systems not being interconnected. They have a huge bakery, meat section, pharmacy, paint section and many more . Customer Service was good. Easy returns. Lots of self Checking counters and there are people to help. With squad cars periodically stationed at the entrance in the evenings, this 24-hour Walmart Supercenter on Rt. 1 S offers a McDonald's, an in-store nail salon, and the opportunity to potentially see people getting arrested or trampled on Black Friday. After the two-year renovation, the 24-hour Walmart Supercenter is now nearly a whopping 190,000 sq ft, housing a pharmacy, a photo center, a grocery section with deli & bakery, a garden center, a Redbox, a Coinstar machine, and an in-house Rug Doctor. During the holidays, also expect to see a lot of seasonal merchandise. My biggest complaint is that the checkout lanes tend to be understaffed, resulting in long wait times. I'm a big proponent of self-checkout, but unfamiliar customers still tend to be slow and the self-checkout stations aren't always fully functional. (Fortunately, this store offers pickup for online orders.) Customer service has never been Walmart's forte, but it really shows here. Consider yourself lucky if you get a cashier who isn't grouchy, visibly apathetic, or a teenager. Most of the customers appear to be North Brunswick locals, but expect to see a few drifters here as well. Some older folk seem to enjoy coming here just to walk indoors. read more

Pro tip - park and enter on the Hobby Lobby side of the shopping center. There's slightly less traffic. The cash registers on that side are less busy too. This Walmart has been around for 20 years or more. It was always a large store, but they've expanded into the space previously occupied by other stores and now it's monstrous. It's hard to argue with the prices on some items, and they provide some services that are niche but essential for those who do need them (bill pay services, money orders, etc). Two things make visiting this store a nightmare. The parking lot is a chaotic warzone. Too many cars, lots of pedestrians, and only 1 entrance/exit make it a Frogger-esque obstacle course. There really ought to be a secondary exit to reduce the chaos as you head towards the traffic light. Like many Walmarts, lines to checkout are always horrendous. Now that they sell groceries too, it's only getting worse. Avoid at all costs. read more

I paid extra to have it be "24 hours" and the order is STILL showing as "Order Received" and STILL with the expected to be ready time as 6pm on December 28th. Michael is a horrible store supervisor! This January I returned an item, and Walmart refunded me $0.01 less. I explained the situation to Walmart customer service desk staff, and Michael arrogantly insisted that he couldn't do anything about it. Walmart took $0.01 from me, and he by-stood and did nothing to amend. He doesn't put customer first, and just does not care about you at all! He was so indifferent and cold. This is a small Walmart comparing to other locations I have been to and it is also a bit run down too. My family and I stopped by Walmart because we saw some outdoor plants for sale on their lot. We decided to go inside and unlike other Walmart location, the first thing I noticed is how it is not busy at all. This seems strange to me simply because it's Walmart. How is it not busy on a Sunday??? I noticed that the store was dirty inside. There are some misplaced items on the aisle shelving. Their bathroom was quite disgusting, at least for the women bathroom, my daughter and I can attest to. The toilets are dirty and they do not flush, ew. A Walmart employee walked in and complained out loud about it but she ultimately used it and then left. I truly doubted that she took any actions. I have experienced worse stores, but this store is far from the best. Very few of the cashiers speak English, and it is impossible to find someone to help in the store. They have recently expanded and re-modeled the store. There is insufficient signage, and the employees stationed at the door do not speak English clearly enough to direct customers. The layout of the store is very odd, as the area which the old store was in is mostly empty, and the bulk of the departments are crowded in to the new area. The parking lot is even worse than it used to be. In addition, the entrance for the old section of the store is no longer usable, which makes it even more inconvenient to find a parking spot. While remodeling the customer suffers. The lines are long. There are employees guarding doors who should be on registers. One of the four express lines are open. The customer service line has 11 people on it. Eventually this may feel as if you are in a Walmart in the south...aisle after aisle of savings and no need to visit any other store after you leave. I call it the Black Friday Walmart. It feels like this Walmart is always packed and parking is a headache with the amount of cars, people, and carts flying all over the place. The McDonald's inside is not too bad but everything else I don't like it. The store is packed with customers and only 5 registers are open. It's 2pm on a Sunday!!!! Cashiers are slow and customers don't help with there slow methods of payment. Some advice, if you want to avoid the packed front entrance, you can drive behind the store to escape via the connecting strip mall (B&N). This Walmart in my opinion is much cleaner, than the one by me, which is why I like it. However, this location still has its problems. First of all, this store has quite a confusing layout, and the aisles are marked, but should be more visual, as I would be able to see where to find something in each part of the store. Everything is so hidden. The store is very well stocked, and has everything imaginable. I even found some food items I could never find in supermarkets. Staff may be friendly, but there were never anyone by the registers. Also, when I looked for clearance it was completely empty. Store also gets confusing once you're done. I went to the Walmart in North Brunswick, New Jersey yesterday where my friend and I were treated with the most utter disrespect we have ever experienced from a store representative, in our lives. Their "manager," or whoever she was, I think her name was Michelle (she was a bigger black lady with glasses) as well as her two fellow coworkers, were incredibly rude and presumptuous. Coming from a woman of color, a black man, and a spanish woman, how does it feel to racially profile your own kind??? In this age and time, and with what is going on with the world presently, you'd think, Walmart employees would act differently. Instead, my friend (who is black and spanish) was targeted for accidentally forgetting to scan an item ( out of the 20 we purchased and scanned correctly) , harassed and slandered with false accusations. Just for them to be proved wrong. She had even informed me that forgetting to scan an item may be a mistake, and then proceeded to scream at my friend and tell him that "he would've stolen more if he had the chance." This is what you're telling your employees to say to customers? Customers who made an honest mistake? It's just a coincidence that my friend was black, right? Incredibly disrespectful and disgusting behavior. She even accused us of stealing the reusable bags that WE PURCHASED a few weeks ago, in which we instructed her to check the cameras. She felt stupid after this. Trying to act like she just busted El Chapo. Walmart - please take a moment to realize who you are hiring, some of the employees at this walmart take advantage of their "higher" position and use their ego that is fueled with "power" to attempt to make sense of a situation, just to look stupid in the end. I'd rather make the drive over to East Brunswick. This Walmart wasn't so bad until they started to expand. They've already moved things around time since the expansion but the work isn't complete. There is no organization, some aisles are either barely stocked while other aisles are over stocked. Even though they've expanded their space it seems as though they've downsized on inventory. Some of their products are more spread out so you're not bumping into people as often. It still gets very crowded though, especially near the food section which is cramped all the way in the corner. I'm wondering what they have planned for the garden section. They used to store a lot of their garden material in the parking lot across their entrance. Ever since this Walmart became a super center there's been a lot more traffic than what I'm used to! However, the store is always stocked and kept clean. The staff are quite helpful at times when asked and they always have a good selection. Always busy so don't go if you're pressed for time during the afternoons or night, but easy to maneuver around. read more
