Part two: then when I got the shot they told me that it was only $25 and when I paid for the shot they gave me two receipts one for the $25 and another one for $140 showing that my insurance company covered the $140 so what's up with all of that?

Since I take certain meds, I had a hard time finding a pharmacy who was taking new patients (everyone is so overloaded since the big chain store closed). Oakdale has been amazing since day one. They get my meds ready so I can pick up multiple on one day. They are always so kind and even have given advice when I was dealing with a recurring medical issue. The pharmacist, Christina (I don't think that's how it's spelled) is a kind hearted woman who truly cares about her patients. I don't dread going to the pharmacy anymore, going here is a pleasure. To top it off, they asked me how to pronounce my Finnish last name, which is always bonus points for me! They also have some OTC products and the price is a fraction of the cost compared to a big box store. I hope I never have to change pharmacies again. And today I went in to get some chips for the grand-kids and this guy who was at least a head taller than me and I'm 6'1 walks by and says "Hello, ya ya doing" Felt like old Oakdale again. Then when I couldn't find my chips I asked the gentleman named "Isaiah" (Hope I spelled it right) at the register if they had anymore since their was only one bag and the web says plenty. That Young man went way above and beyond being a cashier by going down the isles looking for the chips and then the tall guy showed up who I figured to be the manager and he helped. Got the chips for the kids thanks to those 2. And it was really nice having a manager walk by and just randomly say hello again. When I went to pick it up, they had it in a box ready for me to bring home. When I took it home, I began hole punching it and suddenly realized that I had a pretty big problem. The pages we mixed up! It looked like parts were together but then they would get all mixed up. It took about 1 1/2 hours and three people to put it back together in order. It caused more anxiety than I needed in that moment and for these reasons, Im giving 3 stars.

I was sent here from the vet for my cat's medication…read more When I arrived I was promptly acknowledged and greeted by a gentleman working the register helping another customer. When it was my turn at the counter the pharmacist advised me the vet hadn't called it in yet. I live about 20 mins away and since it was a Friday I offered to come back another day since there was no rush but she assured me when she received the call she would fill the order so as to not inconvenience me by having to go home and return at a later time. When I came back the prescription was ready and I was thanked for my patience and understanding since they were extremely busy. But it was me who needed to give thanks. They are VERY focused on prompt and friendly service and I just really appreciated the small town vibe and the absolutely outstanding customer service. I also love that the inside reminds me of the type of small business pharmacies from my childhood but with modern products and services. I can't say enough good things about. I have an extensive array of prescriptions, one of which my insurance refuses to cover. For years I'd being paying $200 a month for it at Walgreens; waiting in line for an hour, then being told I was one day early to pick it up. Familia Farmacia is truly family owned and operated. Veteran Owned. Miguel and Issac and their staff of the nicest people remind me of service long forgotten. Their not trying to get rich on patients like me, they are honest and reasonable. The money I've saved there is off the scale. I've saved hundreds of dollars in a very short time. Even their over the counter medications cost less than. They'll even deliver in an emergency. During the Covid 19 Pandemic they've donated gloves and masks to local hospitals! When I had a surplus of paper towels, I donated it to them Issac and Miguel.
