And today I went in to get some chips for the grand-kids and this guy who was at least a head taller than me and I'm 6'1 walks by and says "Hello, ya ya doing" Felt like old Oakdale again. Then when I couldn't find my chips I asked the gentleman named "Isaiah" (Hope I spelled it right) at the register if they had anymore since their was only one bag and the web says plenty. That Young man went way above and beyond being a cashier by going down the isles looking for the chips and then the tall guy showed up who I figured to be the manager and he helped. Got the chips for the kids thanks to those 2. And it was really nice having a manager walk by and just randomly say hello again. Thank You Walgreens for Hiring great employee's who bring back that good ole feel of Old Oakdale. If ya need any stuff from the store head to Walgreens. They will remind ya how Oakdale used to be.

When I went to pick it up, they had it in a box ready for me to bring home. When I took it home, I began hole punching it and suddenly realized that I had a pretty big problem. The pages we mixed up! It looked like parts were together but then they would get all mixed up. It took about 1 1/2 hours and three people to put it back together in order. It caused more anxiety than I needed in that moment and for these reasons, Im giving 3 stars.

Went to River Oak pharmacy to get my Covid vaccine they said that it was going to be a $40 co-pay…read moreand that it was no longer covered by the government and I said well it's supposed to be covered because I have United Health insurance and then some administrator came back while I was in the waiting room and said I had to "pay an administration fee and you can't ask for reimbursement from your insurance company and you can't turn it into anywhere and we're not giving you the shot unless you sign this paper saying that you understand that you can't ask for any reimbursement for this from any place else and you can't tell anyone about the fact that we charged you a fee or report it any where, and that we made you sign this paper." Part two: then when I got the shot they told me that it was only $25 and when I paid for the shot they gave me two receipts one for the $25 and another one for $140 showing that my insurance company covered the $140 so what's up with all of that?

I saw three employees in the front, not assisting any customers, there was no line at the registers, not another client in my view range. Short staff, sure I get it, but if I saw a crowd and employees scrambling then I would take that reason. From a potential client wanting ice cream, nope, this was just an excuse. I told one of the employees that I came from so far, and she said nope, can't short staffed. If you don't want to sell ice cream, at least tell me that the freezer was broken. She suggested I'd speak with her. So glad she did. The Pharmacist herself helped me. They were so busy that morning. But, all I could think of was the pain my daughter was in and I was clueless on what to give her. Luck was on my side another Pharmacist walked in. She told her what I needed and she got right on it! Thank you for having patience to deal with a 70 year old woman that was about to loose it. The medication worked! It kept her pain under control until her prescribed medications were filled. I was sent here from the vet for my cat's medication…read more When I arrived I was promptly acknowledged and greeted by a gentleman working the register helping another customer. When it was my turn at the counter the pharmacist advised me the vet hadn't called it in yet. I live about 20 mins away and since it was a Friday I offered to come back another day since there was no rush but she assured me when she received the call she would fill the order so as to not inconvenience me by having to go home and return at a later time. When I came back the prescription was ready and I was thanked for my patience and understanding since they were extremely busy. But it was me who needed to give thanks. They are VERY focused on prompt and friendly service and I just really appreciated the small town vibe and the absolutely outstanding customer service. I also love that the inside reminds me of the type of small business pharmacies from my childhood but with modern products and services. There is a reason this place has 5 stars and believe me if I could give more, without hesitation I would. I highly recommend Vineyard as your pharmacy.
