The main reason for my review is my 2nd visit to the store on 10/30/15. I needed some cute eyelashes to go with my Halloween costume. I walked in and proceeded to the aisle where the eyelashes were. While looking, I became confused as to which ones included glue and which ones didn't. A female employee came over to me and asked me if I needed help which I desperately did. I am hoping that the manager of this store reads this review and is able to tell from the receipt that I've included who this person is as she rang up my items also. This woman was a pure ANGEL who deserves recognition. She was friendly first of all and took a lot of time helping me figure out which eyelashes were which. She also helped me find some eyelashes in another section specifically for Halloween. She was so NICE!!! And I was so appreciative that she was there to help me. Very Poor and disappointing communication…read more I placed an order on December 26, 2025 to have my groceries delivered between the times of 10:00 AM and 12:00 PM on December 27, 2025. The notification I received was that my order will be delayed and will be delivered at 1:14 PM which was fine until it was 2:30 PM and the groceries had not been delivered and the app then just says, " Delayed, still in progress." I called Walmart customer service many times and all I get is the AI voice repeating the same scripted message over and over and not providing any real answers. For example, I called for an update status on my order on Sunday, December 27, 2025 at 1:15 PM and the AI voice said, " Sorry for the delay, your order should be ready by 6:00 PM on Saturday, December 26, 2025. I tried to explain to the AI voice that today is Sunday and now my delivery is now over 24 hours delayed. Every time I request to speak to an Associate, the phone just rings and then an automatic voices tells me to visit the website which is also powered by AI and generating the same scriped messages. Here is the dilemma. They have a temporary hold on my card for $205.36 dollars, including delivery fees and driver tips. If I cancel the order, it will take 10 days or more for the money to be available back on my card. The app does not let me reschedule or allow any type of editing or a way to communicate. I have been shopping Walmart for groceries for as long as I can remember. I started doing the pickup when all the lanes went to self checkout because I felt like that I was working at Walmart for free. I decided to do home deliveries because the pickup times kept getting delayed and I was making multiple trips up to the store when the order was finally ready. Meijer tends to meet my needs when it comes to grocery, home products, casual clothing, personal care products, and gardening. Two things that stand out the most was their gardening products. I had started gardening, so seeds, plant food, gardening soil, and other gardening items were reasonably priced. Being a pescatarian, there vegetables worked for me. But now that I grow my own, the gardening catalog worked perfectly for me. As to grocery, although there has been spike in grocery prices, they were not as high as I noted at other grocery stores. It helps that I take advantage of coupons, specials, and price reductions thanks to participating in their perks program. This store serves four immediate suburbs, so it tends to get busy on weekends, for sure. I go during the middle of the day when I work from home through the week. I have yet to go and not find what I needed. And because I am a very picky shopper, primarily from the perimeter of the grocery store, I have not been disappointed in what they have.

I joined Walmart+ and upon looking into more - I didn't see full benefit utilizing this division of the company. The cancellation of services was rather immediate. This occurred November of 2025. Unbeknownst to me, even though I called & spoke with someone to cancel the services the charges continued. They were continuously being billed even after receiving confirmation of cancellation. On April 13, 2026 I saw another Walmart charge hit my account. I called & spoke with a Walmart representative, that assured me of a complete refund of each charge that had processed. An email confirming the cancellation was sent & I was told seven to ten business days would be the waiting period for said refund. That timeframe came & went. Upon following up with Walmart I encountered buffoonery of the highest order. The initial representative was semi helpful. She even offered to "escalate" my issue to have the refund processed even faster than normal. That's when a supposed manager named Mohammed joined the call. He so eloquently explained how the system only showed November through January payments as eligible for refund. When asked about February til April he said "the system was not allowing him" to see any other payments. Therefore, since he didn't see them nothing could be done for those months. However, he so graciously offered to refund me the first three months as a courtesy. Upon asking him if time stopped in his world, he sounded offended by my non acceptance of his efforts to appease. I asked him, is this a standard practice that Walmart implements on it's customers? If done continuously out the day - this is merely another way of keeping profits in Walmart's pockets. Just another example of something for people to look out for while dealing with this company. The deceptive & deceitful business practices are downright shameful.
