I went to the store specifically for two Olay products and was happy to find them. While I was there, I decided to look for lotions and noticed a sign stating that free OLLY samples were available from March 29 to April 29. When I asked for the samples, the associate in the cosmetics department insisted they were only available in March. Even after I pointed at the sign with the dates, she still insisted I was wrong. I attempted to call in to refill a prescription. Something I could do almost at any pharmacy on the planet. This pharmacy has no human being that picks up the phone no matter what numbers are Chiese you hit. It's a voice that just keeps repeating the same thing over and over again. I ended up having to go down in person, which is not what I wanted to do just to refill the drug. Then they look at me and say oh we don't have it. We'll have to get it for you. I was in the area and needed to pick up some items and a new pair of cheap reading glasses. I found everything ok except the reading glasses which started at $20 and went up, Which is very high most of the time I pay around 10. The selection was lacking and did not have what I wanted. I got everything else I needed. There was literally no staff around to help customers. I sore a few people in pharmacy and one cashier and that was it. I would only go again if I was desperate and in the area again. The staff where polite and friendly. read more

My dr called in 2 prescriptions that I needed to use today. They sent me notification that it was done. I spoke to pharmacy on phone and as I usually do I asked if they could deliver it. As always they said yes. Normally an hour or 2 and then it gets to my home. Not today. Instead I got several text messages, One said my prescriptions had been picked up for delivery. Then I got text saying delivery was cancelled, Then I got another saying delivery picked up again. When they didn't show up, I called them and they said that they gave it to UPSP and that I would receive it in 2 days. I was shocked bc I need it for tonight & my dr called it in the morning. I asked them to void that order and to refill it bc I need it now, not in 2 days. They said no & that I needed to request a dodo delivery or something like that. I have had medication delivered many times and I always just asked for delivery... and within 2 hours it was on my hand. They then put me on hold and eventually disconnected me. Horrible horrible service. I would have gone to pick it up if they couldn't deliver right away. I was not ever told 2 days or usps. read more

Consistently the worst CVS pharmacy I've ever been to. Pharmacy staff is overwhelmed and under trained. Takes at least 45 minutes to pick up a prescription because you first have to wait in line to pick up, find out that your order is incomplete, be told to wait in another line so you can tell a different person to enter in your remaining order, then be told to go back in the pickup line again to pick up the order. Unfortunately this scenario is the norm and not the exception. Avoid! read more

Not sure if they are understaffed but one of the pharmacist is always throwing bags of medications, today he dropped a cap for medication container on the floor and just picked it up, closed the container and stapled bag shut! As a fellow healthcare provider I was mortified! The same pharmacist also gave me a 9 months supply of medication instead of 3month supply! I can't imagine what that does to the inventory! I returned the other 6months but he was insisting he was correct! And it was a prefilled 90 day supply! SMH....CVS management you need to do better! read more

Jenny and staff here are over worked and understaffed my heart goes out to them yet they are sooooo nice very professional.. Had a great experience here and they deserve more stars as they are rock stars they work so hard and treat people so kindly talk to you and most of all don't rush you they listen to what you have to say.. Hands down one of the best in the area go here stay away from the one in Bethpage unless you like being treated like and want staff to treat you like garbage.. This review is in regard to the Pharmacy only. I have a diagnosis and have been prescribed a medication that is often on back order (due no fault of the pharmacy). Each and every month, I walk into the store not knowing if I am going to get my prescription but each and every time I walk in, I am met with the smiles of two amazing employees. CVS is the number one place to buy all of your pharmaceutical products. Fair pricing and accommodating when needed. The only problem I have with this location is the wait time at their pharmacy. II have been using this CVS for many years and am very satisfied with this pharmacy. The main reason that I frequent this one is the pharmacists and the pharmacy aides. They know what they are doing, are pleasant and help you whenever they can. if you have medications that you regularly use, you rarely receive a different manufacturer. They have added a larger supply of groceries during this challenging year which is most convenient . They are very careful keeping their customers and employees safe during this pandemic. They wee giving flu shots in the front of the store under an awning when the weather was warm and they had a number of customers getting the flu shot. CVS has had for a long time the ExtraCard where when you check out, you get a zillion coupons. CVS has a new program, CarePass where you are charged $5 a month and each month you have $10 to use in the store. I find this program better for me than ExtraCard. With this, they have free RX delivery. There is no dollar amount that you have to spend. I gave this pharmacy 4 stars due to the narrow aisles. read more

This store has been filthy and poorly managed for way too long. All of the other CVS stores in our area have been remodeled and are clean. The other stores are fully stocked and items can be found easily. This store has had the same 3 gray bins blocking an aisle for months, nothing is ever on the shelves and the things that are there have just been tossed there. The rugs are stained and there is garbage on the floor. It looks like its just been running itself. The CVS on Jackson Avenue in Syosset and the other on South Oyster Bay Road are the complete opposite. This is not a new issue, I just finally have a few minutes to write a review. The store looks like it would be in violation of basic health code standards. Maybe a District Manager can get involved. read more

I asked a customer if they were on line and they called me a fucking moron. They didn't kick the guy out. He also said racist stuff. Keep in mind I'm Indian. If a minority acted like this, they would be kicked out cops called, but since the guy who called me was white, guess what? NOTHING HAPPENED. The CVS in Plainview rarely has stocked shelves, when I ask for a product they bring 1 out and leave the shelf empty. I was told that the cash registers are no longer in use that we had to use self service. The associate had an attitude and was annoyed that I needed assistance because the items I was buying was buy 1 get one 50%off but they came up regular price. Again associate was annoyed! Finally I asked for a manager, who also couldn't get the self serve to work and low and behold she took me to one of the registers. Upon leaving I told the associate that she should check her attitude at the door, she was being paid to assist customers, she told me I should get a better attitude. Other customers agreed with me that the store is terrible and others said they go to the Bethpage CVS now but were here for convenience today...far from convenient!!! 5 thumbs down for the Plainview CVS! read more

The people here are very nice but I brought a thing that cost $5 in cvs and $2 in target that was upsets the prices here for stuff are a little overprice and the lines are big but the employs take to much time doing everything. I was at CVS pharmacy (1026 Old Country Rd. Morton Village Plaza- Plainview, NY) and waiting for my prescription to be ready finally I went to the counter and they said two of my prescription we have to order because we don't have it, and the other one is $85.00 and I asked her if I can use the prescription discount card and if not I will not take it and will talk to my doctor to give me the generic one, also I asked her please check which CVS has the other two and transfer and I will go pick it up, and suddenly from far behind the counter a lady loudly screaming that you have deductible and that is it!!... you have to pay $85.00 and I told her you don't even know what we are talking about and you are shouting!! she said impolitely we are busy and there is line, I said I am one of your customer (about twenty years customer) too and you have to respect and see what we are talking about. then I asked the pharmacist could you tell me her name and she went and told her I am asking her name she again loudly and very disrespectful said give her my card. I've been in well over 100 CVS stores. This is the worst. Cluttered. Floors not clean. Brought in two prescriptions to be filled at 2:30 pm. They said they were backed up and wouldn't be ready until 4:30 pm. Two hours??!! Came back at 5:10 pm and waited on a pick up line that was 10 deep. When i finally got to the front they told me that one if my prescriptions was still not ready. There's no excuse for that. Add staff. Or open another CVS nearby to relieve the load. In the meantime I suggest you look for the nearest Walgreens or other place that will value your business. read more
