The constant chiming overhead on the speakers is quite annoying to me, but I can only imagine how frustrating it might be on the employees (unless they learn to tune it out, which I would totally understand). Their managers can be seen doing their best to plug the gaps when needed, which as a former pharmacy employee during my late high school and early college years, I can very much appreciate. I bought some daily essentials, and I noted that a lot of them were locked up in glass shelves as they are in virtually all CVS pharmacies that I have patronized. Customers have to ring a bell so a store employee could come and unlock the items --like toothpaste, razors and mouthwash. Cashier Sorna rang up my order, encouraging me to take advantage of a digital coupon that I downloaded from the app. She explained that if I buy $2 more dollars worth of items, I will get $2 off my entire order. Talk about personalized service! Prescriptions are ready earlier than expected. All insurance plans are accepted. Refills are automatic. And, best of all, Betty is the loveliest person. It then takes them a half hour to fill. After that, you have to wait in a line of 6 people, all of whom are having the same problems with them as you. It's like being in a Kafka story. Also, prescriptions sent by your doctor have about a 50% of being received. If they didn't get it, you have to call your doctor to resend. Buying non-prescription items here isn't any less frustrating. The checkout personnel are slow, dimwitted, and rude. Also the store is run down and dirty. The only bright spot is the ample off-street parking. Stay away. I hope my suffering will save you the agony of dealing with these people. Please let my horrible experiences here have some meaning.
