There were a ton of snacks I haven't really seen before or knew was a thing. It was a pretty large location compared to the others I've been. But with that being said... there wasn't a ton or really any hot food options. I just needed to line my stomach with something that wasn't chips and that was my main visit so that was a bit disappointing but then again.. the worker was all alone so there is some patience I'll have with them. Brightly lit and things were put away. I didn't see too many bare shelves. It's in a business park with a bunch of different business. You can see the 7/11 sign if you're going in one direction but not the other. So be ready to hit that quick right into the lot. Plenty of parking. That won't be a problem. Prime location with not another convenience store in the area and with a few hotels down the road.

I had already paid for my food, but she took/stole my food instead of allowing me to leave with what I had purchased. When I told her that I intended to report the incident and asked for her name, she refused to provide it and threatened to call the police on me. She also made a completely inappropriate comparison between me and my friend who was not using a wheelchair, telling me that I was "the bad one" and my friend was "the good one." I found this incredibly degrading and discriminatory. Customers with disabilities deserve to be treated with the same basic respect as everyone else. I hope management reviews the security footage, investigates what happened, and addresses this employee's behavior. I would strongly encourage management to provide appropriate disability-awareness and customer-service training

I told him my purchase had nothing to do with his purchase. The clerk began yelling and using profanity, telling my brother to "get the fuck out of my store." During the confrontation he also used racially derogatory language, referring to my brother as a "black motherfucker." This escalated what should have been a simple issue about change and a bag. If he responded nicely, my brother would've paid for the bag. At one point the clerk also reached as though he might be drawing a gun, which made the situation feel threatening. I attempted to calm the situation and told both of them the argument was not worth escalating, but the clerk continued using profanity and again told us to "get the fuck out of my store," while claiming he was the owner. I am sharing this because customers should not be subjected to profanity, racial insults, or threatening behavior over a routine purchase. Regardless of whether this person is an employee or the owner, this interaction was unacceptable and extremely concerning. I'm also asking anyone who could be subject to racial slurs, to not patronize this store.

I don't know what is going on at this store lately. I have been going to it for over 2 years now on a regular basis but in the past few months things have gone from excusable due to supply and staffing shortages, to downright unexplainable. During my last visit, both of the self checkout kiosks were inoperable. At the staffed checkout the cashier refused to acknowledge myself and the other person waiting for at least 7 minutes. She had her back to us the whole time while seeming to organize nicotine gum on the shelf behind her. The other person waiting noticed another employee walk toward the self checkout kiosks and asked for help only to be told that the woman ignoring us was supposed to help us. Eventually she turned around and glared at the person as if they were ruining her day by asking her to her job. The checkout area was piled with merchandise to the point where nothing could be put down to be scanned and each item had to be handed to the cashier one at a time. At the end of the transaction it felt as if we had intruded on someone's private life instead of going into a store to receive service from service personnel. All of this is added to the fact that the store has virtually nothing in stock. The shelves have been getting more and more empty and several months back I asked if it was a supply chain issue only to be told it was a staffing issue. I went to purchase some multivitamins and after picking up three different brands and checking the expiration date, each one was expired. Not just a one-off situation. I couldn't find any that weren't expired. The pharmacy seems to be very fully staffed all the time and is usually pretty good. There have been some really frustrating moments with them, but it is usually not their fault. They do their best to deal with the screw ups of insurance companies, supply issues, and other things out of their control. This is a shame and CVS upper management should get some eyes on the situation. There is a large community that frequently shops at that CVS and there is so much lost potential in terms of being a value to the community, but likely also revenue for thier company. read more

I have gone to the Covington Fred Meyer pharmacy for 7+ years now and have multiple prescriptions…read morethat they fill/refill for me every month so I have plenty of experience with the staff here, their overall customer service, etc. Over the past 7+ years, I've had nothing but great experience with both of the pharmacists who work here (there's one female pharmacist and a male pharmacist who both have worked here regularly throughout the years), they have always been extremely helpful and have always been kind. The rest of the pharmacy staff has been a rotation of people throughout the years and there has certainly been a couple of one off employees that were either rude or difficult to deal with but those people typically don't last long or once they've worked there a while they've improved with experience. I've had to deal with other pharmacies throughout the years for my boyfriend's prescriptions and I have one prescription that I have filled at a different pharmacy due to Fred Meyer carrying a specific brand that I've had adverse reactions to and the other pharmacies I've gone to have been terrible in comparison (Covington Safeway, Covington Walgreens, numerous CVS locations -- they're the worst) where they constantly claim they never received a prescription and are dismissive and rude, which is exactly why I'm extremely grateful for Fred Meyer and how great they've always been. I'm assuming that most bad reviews or negative experiences people have had with them are due to things that were beyond the pharmacists control such as laws or policies for controlled substances or dealing with difficult insurance companies who restrict how and when things are covered (and I've actually dealt with both of those issues but Fred Meyer was very helpful and found a solution in both circumstances).

I go to the Burien Safeway...after being told my script was sent to the wrong pharmacy: I requested that they forward it to the right Safeway location where I was (they've done it before) the intranetwork pharmacy said they couldn't transfer it over...from 1 SAFEWAY TO ANOTHER?!?! On my way out I spoke with an... assistant manager I guess, and she was less help than the pharmacist! Nonchalant and disconcerned. I'm her defense, she's always like that! I distinctly remember going to the Des Moines Safeway and they were able to transfer the script right then and there! Same situation! It is now worth the extra gas to drive to a different Safeway...if I continue using Safeway at all!! They don't want to open their bathrooms to paying customers, theyre proving they don't have the capacity to manage more than 1 entrance and their new development is complacency! A different surgeon was able to correct the pharmacy error so I'm going back to the Burien Safeway, maybe for the last time! Hey! Even if you may have changed your policy because you have a bunch of drug addicts hanging outside your store...you should be able to recognize your customers and accommodate them!
