CVS on Crabb rd is my go to CVS. They greet you as you enter the store. They are there to help you at the self checkout counter. This store always looks nice and clean. The pharmacy is usually busy in the drive up so I usually park and go inside. I also like to go online and place an order for various stuff and then go into the store to pick it up. It's great when they do the shopping for me. Lots of places to park outside and they also have 2 Red boxes outside to get movies. Cool! The best thing about CVS is their coupons. Download the app and get lots of coupons. And now you can get the receipt sent to you by email!! read more

I wish I could give 0 stars to this establishment, specifically the pharmacy. Although I'm sure the store section is run fine, I had a very unfortunate run in with the pharmacist, Rebecca. Initially, there was one gentleman in line in front of us, who she refused to help despite him asking for help multiple times. To give you some idea, this man was standing there for upwards of 30 minutes. Once we got to the front, she refused to give us a covid vaccine because she would have to "get them out of the freezer", which is confusing, because the pharmacy didn't close for another hour and a half. She then told us we would need an appointment. This may make sense, except we had tried to do this via the app several times prior to coming in only to be met with an error. We explained this - no luck (even though on the app it was clear there was an appointment available at the time). We also tried to call to make an appointment, but they send you to a strange voicemail option. I should also state that she was rude. Very rude. The store manager told us she has received upwards of 20 complaints in the past, but the pharmacy has taken no initiative to make a change. Not a fan of this CVS pharmacy. read more

Communications via text messages was prompt. Did see one individual enter without mask but arseholes are to be expected everywhere. Signs to vaccine area were posted. Came here for their MinuteClinic services and was very impressed with how easily I was able to continue needed services from another state. The wait, even though I had an appointment, wasn't too long and the check in and sign up at the kiosk was pretty easy. Would come here again for MinuteClinic services because this store didn't seem crowded at all and I was able to check in and be seen rather quickly. read more

My family is forced by our insurance to use CVS and since this is the closest one, you'd think it'd be convenient. We have a member of the family with complex medical issues and we are constantly kept on hold for 25+ minutes, routinely wait in the drive through line for 20+ minutes because it's no better inside. Just now I came from urgent care to pick up a prescription and after waiting 15 minutes was told I would be able to pick up my prescription tomorrow. After some very strong words and insistence I was told they could "probably" have it done in 2 hours. It's going to take them 2 hours to count 10 pills? Useless!!! read more

OMG!!! I decided to drop off my prescription after work today at this cvs and a lady just beat me to the line. I waited for 15 Minutes before the other car drove off and I can drop off my RX using the tube! It's a freaking drop off and took 15 minutes! That's crazy! When I drove off I also notice that there were 7-8 cars waiting at the drive through line and I saw the poor lady by the window even answering a phone call! You would think that they know at this time of the year that ppl gets sick and they need to put enough staff to handle this situation! After I dropped of my prescription at the tube system , I left. So tired of waiting for them. Then I decided to call when I get home to speak to a manager to let them know, I was put on hold for 20 mins so I just hung up! I have been using this pharmacy for two years. Unfortunately my insurance requires me to only use CVS. Every time I call to refill a script, it take 15-20 minutes for them to answer the phones. I think it's because the phone doesn't have a "normal" ring, just says "one pharmacy call" every so often, which I is easy enough for them to ignore. My physician call scripts in early, and due to some issue wIth CVS' system, I can't fill them online. Having to call and TRY to get someone to answer is seriously the most annoying part of my day. I have used this CVS for 20 years and in the last 3 years, they have gone tremendously down hill. Lines are outrageous, you're on hold on the phone for 10+ minutes, the system is ALWAYS down at night so that you can't get your prescription, and the automated text service is texts me that my scripts are ready and I show up and have to prove to the pharmacist that it was sent to me because they never have my medicine ready. I tried giving them chance after chance because I hate change and I'm a loyal customer, but enough is enough. This establishment is poorly run. Will be switching to Walgreens. Worst CVS of all time. These Guys! WOW! How do you fuck up this much and stay in business? How is your customer service this fucking poor and you stay in business? I have never had a positive experience at this store, however due to my insurance I have to use CVS for maintenance drugs in order to get a steep discount. The automated system calls me to advise that my scripts are ready and when I show up to get them I still have to wait because they cannot find them. They tell me that they "lost" them but will refill them right away. How do you loose stuff every time that I go there? Are you not supposed to keep up with prescription drugs? That is why they are under the control of a licensed pharmacist and staff! I visit this store at least monthly for myself or my wife and I have heard one of the pharmacy staff using the excuse that they are "short staffed" every time! I have written to CVS corporate and only get more excuses. I have spoke with the pharmacy manager and got these same excuses for at least three years now! Why don't you make this better CVS? I have not and will not use any CVS unless I have to due to my insurance. I dropped my prescription off on Friday around 4, the lady told me it would be ready by 8pm, (which to me sounds a little ridiculous for Ibuprofen 800 & Tylenol #3) but anyways, I gave her my number & name. I didn't receive any calls. It is now Saturday 9pm, still nothing. Every time I call up there, they just place me on hold for 30+ minutes without even getting my name. They're getting do busy that customer service is seriously falling. I dropped off a prescription for my daughter last night. I was asked when I would pick it up, I said that I would be by before lunch. Granted the drive through line was a little long and the parking lot was full. The pharmacist also failed to ask for verifying information (eg phone number and date of birth). I asked him if he could use that information. His response? "Oh, yeah." I gave him the information and was told it would be ready by 6:30 am. I came by this morning around 9:00 and the pharmacist couldn't find my prescription. After fifteen (15) minutes he still couldn't find it. Ten minutes later he found her unfilled prescription with a post it note attached that said the drug was not in stock. How long before I would've been told? I'm severely disappointed. Even with the change on management, it's evident that the pharmacy isn't adequately staffed. I am a very laid back and easy person , i will wait for as long as needed but when i am told they accept walkins and then i have to make an appointment for two hours after i came in it's ridiculous. Horrible customer service!!!!! had a covid test scheduled for travel at 10:00, setting in the parking lot after checking in they called at 10:05 and cancelled it, the girl didn't show up to work and the nurse that was working at the time, wouldn't do it. The manager said she called the cvs on Westheimer and 610, they would give the test to us .We drove all that way and asked about our test nobody knew anything about it, and they where booked and wouldn't do it. This pharmacy claims they did not receive my mother's prescription twice already even though staff called them in front of me, and also send prescription via fax with confirmation. When I called them to try resolve the issue, I received rude response telling me to use another pharmacy. Of course I will use another pharmacy moving forward. read more

Came here after visiting the ER with my son pharmacist said it would be ready in 45 minutes over an hour for a prescription being filled at 12:45am I mean I'd understand during the day but damn there's literally no one else waiting. I don't know if it is poor management or lazy/unmotivated staff but this is the worst CVS I have ever had to deal with. It is 0.5 miles from my house and I am going to have all my medications transferred to another location. No one answers the phone despite this being a 24/7 CVS. I'm talking over 20 minutes on hold before I finally hang up. The staff isn't willing to go out of their to help or be friendly. Nearly every time I go to pick up my medications there is a delay of some sort despite receiving a text confirming my medications are ready for pick up. It is frustrating. The worst pharmacy I have ever been to. The indian woman was very rude on the phone when I called in a prescription. The indian woman was hard to understand and started yelling and hung up when I asked her how much the prescription was. Also, this place is way, way, way overpriced on any over the counter or retail items that they sell. They need to clean house and fire the manager and the very rude indian woman at this place. HEB on Hwy 59 is so much cheaper on their OTC items and the pharmacy staff is very professional. I will never go to another CVS EVER again. read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST. I went into the minute clinic to get lab testing done for strep. I didn't even stay in the room two minutes before leaving after being treated terribly. I don't remember the nurse practitioner's name, but he was an Indian boy, not man, boy because he was immature, rude, deceitful, and lazy. After asking a couple of questions, he told me the test would be $200. First of all, I have had this testing done before and it was $60. So of course I asked him what went into all of that, and why I was being told that price. I'm not sure if he thought I was just some dumb female, but the manner in which he was speaking to me was so rude. He seemed extremely bothered by me asking routine questions about the visit. His attitude was so bad I got up and left. It is beyond me how this boy has a job as he is a pompous idiot who needs to learn to be a better communicator and not a complete asshole. read more

Very busy pharmacy, which isn't a bad thing, but they obviously need more help. Forget about calling and talking to someone in the pharmacy, nobody hardly ever answers. You have to stay on hold and listen to some awful low quality music over and over and over. Save yourself some time and get in the car and drive there if you need to talk to someone. It's so much easier that way. The pharmacist, Chetna, is great, so this review is not about her. Management, you need more staff. read more
