The pharmacy seems chaotic and disorganized. I call ahead every time to confirm that my son's refill medications are ready for pickup, and I only leave home once they've confirmed. However, when I arrive at CVS, the prescriptions are still not ready, and I'm asked to wait another 20 minutes... It seems like several people are working there, but without clear order or structure, I genuinely dread the days I need to go & pick up medications. Additionally, when calling the pharmacy, most of the time, no one answers. They seem to be constantly backed up, and the automated system frequently directs me to call back later or leave a voicemail... Overall, the service feels truly unprofessional. read more

I waited an hour with my one year old for an antibiotic the other night. There was poor communication and lack of professionalism. While waiting, I overheard the staff loudly mocking a woman who called and was trying to make it in time to pick up her prescription, and when she arrived a few min before they closed they rudely refused to help her. They do not care about their patients and seem extremely disorganized. I will be avoiding this pharmacy whenever possible in the future. read more

This is by far the worst pharmacy I've ever been to, and definitely the worst CVS on Long Island. My prescriptions are never ready when I come! Even if I've gotten texts saying they're ready, they forget authorizations, put through wrong insurance it's horrible. And if you try to talk to the pharmacist he is not easy to talk to. Maybe he's a bit mentally challenged. If you actually CALL to aak if prescriptions are ready, no one answers! If they call you bacj and you miss it - you are screwed. They really need to get their act together. Most of the workers either don't care. Or they just don't feel like helping. read more

Need to preface this that this review is NOT about the back pharmacy. They are perfectly fine. This store itself is mind numbing. They've fired almost all the actual store staff. You have a single cashier at the front during peak hours who is always slow. There is one or two good employees but they work almost exclusively during the day. Do not go here for anything even remotely important or something that could be even slightly difficult after 3pm. You'll get better service if you can find the item at the King Kullen or the 7-11 around the block looool. read more

This isn't my favorite CVS, although CVS in general is my favorite. There's this weird no left turn from (n centre ave?) And this location doesn't have self checkout regs. The layout has me searching the aisles in vain "where's the soap?" A question I heard from a fellow shopper today....a question I asked a few times ago as well. (It's the very first aisle, never where I would look because that's also cosmetics) They have Benefiber but not the bars, Advil but not the gel kind, I've been looking for Aquafresh in the stand up tube does that even exist anymore? Every CVS is different, in every way. Even prices. I paid $5.69 for bleach and it's not even brand name. It Is conveniently located, king Kullen in the same parking lot and gas station across the street. The staff are very pleasant, always. read more

After being on hold for 20 minutes to speak with someone at the pharmacy I was hung up on after barely getting a word in. I then called back and confronted the man and he told me he had received 20 other similar phone calls that day however that does not justify him hanging up and not even listening to the questions I had to ask. Absolutely poor service and I do not recommend using this pharmacy. read more

It's been a few years since my last review, and they have increased efficiency with processing. The staff has also become friendly.

There is an overwhelming, overpowering, foul stench consuming the entire store. No matter where you are in the store, it's painful. The place is dirty, dark, and unorganized. I lasted about 30 seconds, then I ran out. Shameful. read more

Horrible attitudes, tried to return something and one of their employees in the pharmacy department, Dahlia, was very unprofessional, rude and loud for everybody on line to hear. Tried talking to two different workers and either knew the difference between a primary insurance and a secondary insurance and how to put it through a secondary; and can barley speak English. This CVS is old, which really isn't even an issue but it can be disorganized at times. There is one employee, a male usually at the register who is the best and extremely friendly and pleasant. As an employee I'd give him 5/5 stars but unfortunately he's the only one. I wish I knew his name because he does deserve a great review. The rest of the front store staff however (not pharmacy) is the polar opposite, they can be very rude and short with their answers. One front store female employee cashier rolled her eyes at me. Weird, but not surprising given that all the other reviews about this location generally speak on the rude and unfriendliness of staff. read more

1)It is open 24 hrs so it is really convenient. 2)It shares the parking lot with King Kullen so there is plenty of parking. 3)It can be a little bit sketchy late at night as some riff raff from local bars or the hotel nearby are lolligagging around... it can feel like a pepper spray sitch, LMAO Cannot add much else as it is a typical CVS. read more

I would give this CVS negative stars if I could. The ABSOLUTE worst pharmacy that I have ever been to. The pharmacy manager, Chris, should be fired. I dropped off a prescription, said they had to order it and that I can get it on Tuesday. I went on Tuesday and it still wasn't ready. I came back on Friday and they said that I have no prescriptions ready to be picked up. I said that's impossible, and they looked in the computer to tell me they never filled it and I will have to wait 30 minutes. I said that's ridiculous, I'm not waiting 30 minutes because you never filled it. Chris, the pharmacy manager, told me they just don't automatically fill prescriptions and was rude to me. He did everything in his power to keep me waiting as long as possible for him to fill the prescription. He called people and left voicemails, rung people up, walked around the pharmacy all while I was waiting right in front of him. Just look at the other reviews, this pharmacy is HORRIBLE! Please go else where for your prescription needs. read more

Common sense isnt so Common any more. Lets start with how the line forms down the aisle for the front of the store for a cashier.. Why and Why cant they set up a few poles to direct traffic like at banks or other stores. As a customer if you happen to need anything in that particular aisle you will simply be out of luck. This PROBLEM is so simple to fix, yet no one has figured it out. Believe it or not its the same problem at the pharmacy counter in the REAR of the store, where again you are standing in an aisle blocking potential customers from shopping. Pharmacy has horrible customer service- very rude, unprofessional, and in general does not function as well as other pharmacys I've been to at all. They have also lost a prescription I dropped off as well... "magically" wasn't entered into the computer while I watched her put it all in. I never write reviews on yelp for restaurants let alone a pharmacy, but the past three visits there have all been equally as annoying and will no longer be filling any Rx there. read more

Decent CVS, usually has what I need, except they are always out of CVS brand whitening listerine so I have to pony up and spend the $10 for name brand. Kind of a nightmare parking lot. Always a very long line at the register, and of course they have about 5 registers but never more than 2 cashiers working at a time. Huge gift card selection which is key. Entrance is awkward, either cement over the non-revolving door or let it open. read more

Went into make some purchases and use their photo shop. Michelle saw I was having difficulty and came over to help me. What a terrific gal, knowledgeable and with a great personality. I left happy with my photos. She is an asset to your store and because of her I will shop there again read more

i mean it's CVS what else can i say. only thing i say is on weekends it can be pretty slow and have super long lines and if you go to the wrong line you will get the ROOOAR. someone yelled at me when i went to the wrong line which was going half way down an aisle. only lil complaint i had but you are usually in and out when you are in here. read more
