I called this Walgreen's pharmacy, hoping that the needed medication would be on file, given their national database, and it was. They answered their phone just fine and said all they needed was an order from my daughter's doctor and it would be filled with no problem. Once I talked to the doc, and gave a bit of time, the Walgreens pharmacy staff again answered the phone and said they had the medication, but my insurance company had denied it due to early refill. The staff told me what the cost would be out of pocket for the six pills I needed. Once I got there, the medication was ready for me at the cost they quoted and they gave me a tip on how to appeal to the insurance company later, if I wished. Their service was exactly what I would expect--timely and courteous--and the insurance denial had nothing to do with Walgreens. Maybe they know about the bad reviews and made changes, but my experience was much better.

I stopped using them a long time ago, but my doctor's office accidentally sent a prescription here, so unfortunately I had to deal with them again. When I arrived, they told me they never received the prescription, so I had to call my doctor's office. They confirmed it had, in fact, been sent. It was in their in box that they never checked. This was after waiting in line for about 20 minutes. First, I was told it would take an hour. Then they changed that to a "guaranteed" time of 1 hour and 45 minutes. I went home and called before making the trip back. After being on hold for quite a while, I was told it still wasn't ready. When I asked if the guaranteed time was when I could realistically expect it to be filled, I was told no it would probably be another 45 minutes beyond that. So the timeline went from 1 hour, to a guaranteed 1 hour 45 minutes, to "realistically" closer to 9:15 p.m. If the guaranteed time doesn't actually mean anything, why give it? To make matters worse, I try to run errands during the day for safety reasons. Having to make multiple unnecessary trips because of poor communication is frustrating and inconvenient. This experience reminded me exactly why I stopped using this pharmacy in the first place.

Like , say candy bar bags for Halloween- both Costco and Sams offer big bags but with different candies in it, and since I had both membership last year, got to choose what I wanted in my trick or treat bag. Or travel suitcases, snacks, or anything for that matter. Similar but different. They had a station where a guy was demonstrating his knife over a loud speaker. Another positive is that the workers are always friendly. I am always greeted upon entering. I typically use the self checkout so I don't have any further interaction unless I need assistance. Recently, they didn't carry a product I was looking for (powdered children's Tylenol) and had to drive to the Walgreens on Shadow creek. - which is annoying when this is RIGHT THERE. A lady in the photo shop named Louise was understanding and took time to give me suggestions on the different cards available at Walgreens. Thank you Louise for helping this frantic old grandmother leave with a box of graduation announcements with pictures on both sides that are beautiful. My grandson and my daughter couldn't believe that I had done that in no longer than an hour. I had to admit that without Louise I could not have completed this assignment. The summer flower pots look absolutely amazing. They had a mini rose pot for under $5. Got the car registration renewed at the Services desk. That is one more thing that can be done at HEB. Parking- that was tricky. There is plenty parking not that, something about the directions to park is weird and compact. Its not free flowing and spacious and for a driving 'expert' like me - a little challenging.... lol... well, that won't stop me from going there again if I need to.... like Vegan Omega 3 comes back in stock...!

It immediately raised concerns about the quality of the product, and I no longer felt comfortable serving it to my family. The biggest issue is the inconvenience. I specifically purchased this meat for dinner that evening, and once I discovered the condition of the product, I had to completely change my plans. No customer should have to inspect every package of meat after arriving home just to make sure it's acceptable to cook. Unfortunately, this isn't an isolated incident. Whether I shop in-store or use curbside pickup, I continue to receive products that are close to expiration or questionable in quality. It has become frustrating because I expect better quality control from a company with H-E-B's reputation. Customers pay for convenience and quality. Instead, I continue to waste time returning products or finding last-minute alternatives for dinner. H-E-B has built an excellent reputation, but experiences like this make it difficult to continue shopping here.
