Photo Lab- in the back Jody who provided AMAZING customer service!
    Esther R.

The Photo Lab in this Walmart ROCKS! Had to print some pictures for a special project and had trouble printing from the Kiosk . The girl working the lab at the moment Jody, had to come rescue me. She was very helpful . My pictures turn out good and were ready super fast! I can't say anything else about the rest of the store bc that Walmart is usually a mess.

    Cross walks no speed bumps

BEWARE SPEEDING CARS!!! There's no speed bumps or stop signs near the crosswalks, the amount of times I've seen cars speeding is insane.

Cupcakes tossed around the box messed up the icing. Ridiculous

I am so disappointed in the bakery department. I ordered a cake with cupcakes for my daughter's 16th birthday. I ordered a week prior to my daughter's birthday. When I went to pick up my cake and cupcakes, it had not even been started. I spoke with a few managers including the produce manager, Patricia, who ensured me that they would get it completed and I could pick it up later than day. I appreciate that and Patricia was amazing. She even gave me her personal phone number. Wow! When my husband went to pick up the cake and cupcakes later, it was not the cake and cupcakes I ordered. Patricia apologized and told me she did the best she could. Again, I appreciate her and her efforts. When the cake and cupcakes reached its destination for my daughter's 16th birthday, it was ruined. The cake and cupcakes were placed in a container that was not suited for the them. The container did not close and was too large for the cake and cupcakes. The cake and cupcakes shifted. My daughter's 16th birthday cake and cupcakes were not presentable. It's was ridiculous.

I love this place but man, it gets expensive! I usually come here for seafood, wic, and things on…read moresale you can't pass up. Shopping here for wic is way easier than anywhere else. I do have a complaint, buying live Crawfish! Culturally I need the owners and seafood department to understand crawfish. They should not be sitting out on a dolly until they're purchased! They need to be cooled so they can " sleep " until they're cleaned and boiled. I bought 10 pounds of live crawfish yesterday and every 3rd of them tasted like death. When that happens it's because they were dead before being boiled. Literally, they're inedible. Now I know they can't keep every single one alive, but what they can do is store them properly to prevent customers from buying dead ones. When you buy a sack you should expect 1-2 pounds to be dead and you take those out but for me to buy 1/3 of a sack and still get 1-2 pounds of dead ones are ridiculous. That's $5-12 I wasted. This wasn't the first time either. One time I got 7 pounds and I literally had about 2 pounds of dead ones in a grocery bag I wanted to bring back to the store to show them why it's important to store them properly but who has time to do all of that when I literally just dealt with the whole process of boiling crawfish.. they can't tell how long the customer will take to boil them , usually hours after purchasing them. please for the crawfish sake put them in the cooler so they can stay alive.. for reference , Louisiana does crawfish Texas does bbq, imagine me putting a brisket in the oven and baking it like any other piece of meat and advertising is as if I smoked it.. culturally it's wrong! Or if I boiled ribs before bbq'n them and acting like it's not a problem.. to each its own but truly to leave the crawfish out in the open waiting for people to buy them is a crime. Especially when people who aren't crawfish folk aren't just going to look and be like " yea, let me get whatever that is " people usually think " I want crawfish " and look around to make sure they're there before going to buy them.. it's for certain people know you have crawfish already you don't need them brown and ugly on a dolly to be sold * drop *

The cashier who opened up the line looked at my daughter and said are you ready in a rude voice? we had two different transactions. I went first I put my things on the conveyor. The young woman proceeded to give very dirty looks at me and looked at my daughter, and my daughter told her I was looking for the dividers, but you really couldn't see them so the cashier goes. They're right there. They're like right there Pointing her finger and speaking very aggressively to my daughter we had my two grandbabies with me five year-old & 8 month old , but that did not seem to matter with this woman's personality so my daughter politely said well I didn't see them cause they're so small the cashier proceeded to check my things off all the sudden she takes the close sign, and she slams it down on the conveyor belt speaking through her teeth, like grinding angrily I'm closed to which I looked up and I said my daughter is with me but we have two transactions, The cashier proceeded to give me a very dirty angry, look talking beneath her breath to the point where I made the comment you need to please stop. She got louder, and I said you need to stop. She aggressively handed me my receipt. I took my receipt. I went to go look for a Manager, which there was no Manager to be found. I believe corporate does need to put up a phone number where customers can get in touch with corporate when things like this happen. It did not just in there. There was a family that was in there shopping and they thought it was funny how this woman was treating my family and I to where we were literally taunted out in the parking lot. This could've escalated into something else very quickly in our time we live in unfortunately that we I'm thankful that it did not, I do expect Aldi to handle this situation ASAP. I will not be threatened by one of your employees or have my daughter, grand babies at one of your stores by your employee I don't have to tell you this is very bad for business. Her name is on the receipt for anyone that lives in the area be careful if you go to this Aldi I'm just saying be careful. The cashier's name is Souline.... I wish we had the prompt not to give a star, I have to select one star just so I can post this.

If you're looking for gluten-free, vegan, or other specialty products, the selection here is excellent. The store is located in a shopping center with plenty of parking, and the staff have always been friendly and helpful. A nice bonus is the Amazon return counter inside the store. You can bring eligible Amazon returns without packaging, and they handle the rest. One thing I wanted to mention for anyone trying to take advantage of the current Amazon Prime ice cream promotion (50% off pints through July 7): this location has had ongoing ice cream issues. I visited twice recently and found the freezers completely empty both times. On one visit, staff said they were waiting on a shipment; on the next visit, they explained that the freezer had broken and posted a sign stating that no ice cream pints were available for sale. So if you're specifically coming for the ice cream deal, I'd recommend calling ahead first or checking another Whole Foods location. Aside from that issue, it's still a great store and a very convenient Whole Foods for the Sugar Land area.

There just is nothing so overwhelming that the price per pound should be as high as it is. Salad bar items are 11.99 a pound. Olive bar, I would expect to be higher but not 11.99 as well. I completely understand and it's very well known that because of its organic food selections and quality that Whole Foods does selectively market to a higher economic demographic that is less price sensitive. However, I am in that upper demographic and I'm getting distracted by getting a salad and some olives and walking out of the store with a $35 bill. At this price, I can just eat at a restaurant, and a decent one at that.
