My family has been using this CVS for years, but we have finally had enough of the rude, incompetent customer service. We've switched to Publix, and no they don't have a drive-thru, but the service is like night and day. If you want competent, friendly and efficient service, as so many others have said, go *anywhere* but here. This store is across the street from the hospital, so the awful service and being out of everything really just doesn't cut it. Shame on this company. Vote with your feet. read more

Let me start off by saying I don't think I have ever, in my life, left a bad review anywhere, but the service here was ridiculous !! HANDS DOWN THE WORST PHARMACY I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I went to the CVS pharmacy, looking for a quick consultation before choosing something over the counter. I went ahead and stood under where it said "consultations". On the right of me it said drop off and on the left of me it said pick up. Nobody said anything to me for about five minutes. Finally, one of the pharmacists came up to me and asked me for my phone number and I said "me?" She asked me if I was picking up and I said no. She turned to the other pharmacist to tell her something but didn't say anything else to me, and returned back to her station. They announced on the speaker that somebody's prescription was ready for pick up and after helping them, they did not address me, once again. After about two more minutes, I went ahead and asked if there was anybody available to consult with me. The lady was very rude and said that she asked me if I was picking up a prescription and to stand in line where it says drop off. I held my tongue and patiently waited in the drop off line. Once I got to the front, the lady there was very helpful. She told me what to get, I purchased it and came home. When opening the container, I found that the seal was broken. So I can't even take what I bought and am forced to return it when I have the time. After reading some of these reviews, I now see why they have such a low rating. Once I return this, I am NEVER coming here again. if I could give them zero stars, I would. Horrible experience. read more

I was picking up medicine for someone else. I had a coupon to make the meds cheaper. Tunde asked me "I mean is it really worth it?" Because I guess it was a big hassle to put the coupon information in. If I can save money then it's worth it. As I'm trying to get all the information he just kept getting more frustrated with me. I'm trying my best man. He just kept rolling his eyes. Stop being so mean to people Tunde. You have to be patient and understand because you don't know what other people got going on. You might say "well you don't know what I've got going on!" Yeah that's why I was patient with you. You made me sit back down and wait for like 30 minutes and I didn't complain once. You didn't even says something like "sorry for the wait". You don't care about my wait. Time for some self reflection Tunde. DONT GO TO THIS PHARMACY ! The pharmacist was disgustingly rude. He refused to contact the dr to help get a prescription transferred that was out of stock at this location. He knew my daughter had just been discharged from the hospital. He told us he didn't want to be the middle man because they were about to close( we arrived 20 minutes before closing) and slammed the drive thru window. They have a minute clinic here and they are open 24 hours so to me that deserves 4 stars in my book. It is located across the street from North Fulton Hospital so they have more things in stock that someone may need leaving the hospital. Drive thru pharmacy and easy access makes this my preferred location near home. read more

Some of the associates were friendlier than others. I believe the mini clinic is located at the front of the store (?). I think this was a strange set up because there was people waiting around looking miserable near the refriderated area. And the pharmacy was still located towards the back of the store so I'm sort of lost about this clinic area. Anyway... The store overall was clean and tidy. Some items were moved around on the hanging wall units, but this could have been customers moving it about. But overall, everything was at its proper place. Parking was plentiful. Overall the parking lot was dimly lit, but it wasn't too bad. read more

This review is for the entire CVS Corporation. Not so much this location, as every store, and this company as a whole, is extremely carelessly wasteful! My receipt is nearly 3.5 feet long! (Yes, I measured it!) And I will attach a picture of it if I can herein. PLEASE STOP contributing to deforestation and senselessly wasting paper!! There is no need for your extra large, in your face, receipts! If you feel the need to print off receipts, you can do so with multiple in the same size as (your current) one. It's a pharmacy. No better or worse than most and conveniently located - easy to access from either direction at the light. I've not had bad service in my stops here, and the Minute Clinic is usually pretty efficient - however, checking in now and I'm the only patient here but the board tells me I have a 36 minute wait. Really? It's 5PM, no one else is checked in but I have more than a half hour to wait? Not sure if the practitioner is on break or what...puzzling. However, context is everything - if I'd tried to make an appointment with the doctor's office, I'd be waiting days, if not weeks, so I guess 30 minutes really isn't too awful. read more

The pharmacist here makes up her own laws and will refuse to fill controls. I work in pharmacy and never in my life have heard of the law she was spouting off. Five of the pharmacists and the intern I work with never heard of it. We went to the GA Rules and Regulations site and well as the GA Controlled Substance Act and none of what she said was on there. I immediately took my script to Costco and they filled it with no problem and even they said that they have never heard of what she told me. It also took them 5 hours from when i gave them the script to when i got a phone call saying they wouldn't fill it. Costco got it ready in 15 mins! Go to Costco (you don't need a membership to fill at the pharmacy) and save yourself the headache of dealing with this place! read more

Purchased a CVS hand sanitizing wand. Kept the box. I did everything on my part. They were did not! It broke I went in the store to because CVS is suppose to have a 100% warranty. I spent 30 minutes in the store trying to just get the same product. Spoke with online specialists, they still would not do anything. Even though the product is it for sale online. They lost a lifetime of business over a $25 product. They suck! Only shop at Walgreens! #cvssucks I can't wait to see what the FTC has to say about Cvs' egregious advertising violation. read more

Typical CVS. Sparsely staffed, somewhat organized, and rarely a zoo. My lady uses the photo printing thingy here and likes it, although the photos don't last more than a year before the humidity of Florida cause them to degrade. The pharmacy staff are competent and sufficiently friendly, although I've always picked up called-in or dropped-off prescriptions...so I never waited to have one filled. Went to the pharmacy to get some antibiotics. The wait was only 10 minutes, but it would have been faster if one of the pharmacists had acknowledged me sooner. I know they're busy, and I'm not going to holler at professionals, but I also don't want to be left waiting. The light pop music they pipe into the store is really too loud - white noise would be a better idea than the insipid music they have. On the other hand, it was quick and they were polite once they got around to serving me. They're also open 24/7, which is a HUGE plus. read more

Needed pain medication after a surgical procedure and pharmacist refused to fill despite the appropriate documentation provided by the hospital and physician. This occurred around 2-3PM on 10-2-2018. Her rude demeanor and lack of empathy or explanation makes her unfit to be in health care. Took same documentation to another CVS which promptly filled without incident. Good is Customer service is questionable. The gentleman who is always at the register on the pharmacy has a terrible way of talking and interacting with the customers. He seems to like to argue a customers' point of view. Why would you argue with a person who is there to pick up his/ her medication. Does he want to see the customer faint or die while trying their best to get the correct medication? This man needs to be removed from that position and be replaced by a kind, warm, and helpful customer service agent. read more

I love this CVS. The cashiers are always relaxed and well trained. They are usually friendly but don't go over board with it. I like that considering that when I'm in CVS I'm trying to get in & out. They'll ask you if you need help & their courteous most time. Also, it's ok if they don't because as stated, they're always busy. Their usually busy working & stocking merchandise instead of standing there. One of my favorite places to get toiletries & snacks. read more

Went to the pharmacy and the pharmacist Lindsey (wouldn't give her last name) gave me issues with getting my script filled..I've been going to the same pharmacy for over 3 years and getting the same medicine filled every month with no problem but she is new and requested a diagnosis code..My Dr office called and gave her the information and was told she need to refer me to pain management.. first of all this is an invasion of my own privacy and she shouldnt be asking my dr personal information. I really feel violated by this store and the Pharmacist Lindsey. I get all my meds filled at CVS however that will be changing as I'm transferring all my meds to Walgreens..Also the staff was not friendly at all and they see me coming in there every month for the same meds. I will make sure everyone knows how poorly I was treated just trying to get meds I take daily. We have been going here for years.... My husband is far more patient than I. Recently my husband would go in to get his regular every month RX filled. For some reason the last few times, they denied his RX and said he had no insurance. Again My husband is a patient man..... HOWEVER, he would come home and get pissy with me thinking I/we didn't get our insurance correct, applied for the wrong plan, etc. So of course, I have to get involved...... This pharmacy is not willing to explain anything other than you dont have coverage... When clearly we do as we hand them the card with all the info... All they had to do, was take 1 minute to ask us to call the insurance company while we are there to get it cleared up...... Oh no, they are too busy. Hire more techs, hire more Pharmacist, do whatever it takes to give better customer service.... Oh and then show the customer attitude when your computer is not logging the information the right way.... Because your busy,,,, Thank GOD you are busy... Many need and are looking for work and have customer service skills better than most of those that work in this pharmacy...... I hope I can talk my husband into trying a new location. read more

I do not like to leave negative reviews. I generally believe that if a company is failing its customers, they will do themselves in without my help. But, we have a real problem here. I have experienced similar issues as other reviewers here in Yelp, and I find it quite troubling. On multiple visits (what a fool not to stop using this pharmacy IMMEDIATELY) I was given false information regarding my insurance and prescriptions. I was told my insurance was invalid, expired, etc. - It was not. I was told my prescriptions could not be filled- only to discover they already had been and were sitting and waiting inches away. I have made multiple phone calls to both my insurance company and my doctors- both of whom had no idea why there was a problem and were just as confused as I was as to what was going on.I do not understand what the end game is at this CVS location, but one thing is clear- either they are woefully ignorant or they are intentionally giving people the run around. However, please be mindful. The medications we take have a profound impact on our health and one's pharmacist and pharmacy team should be reliable and trustworthy. If they can't even figure out how to process a patient's information from one day to the next -or worse are jerking them around intentionally - how can we trust them to properly fill our prescriptions? Began going to the pharmacy a number of years ago after having issues with other CVS pharmacies in the area. For the first year or two they were great. During the past 6-12 months their level of service has turned terrible. Although you might get a good result on one visit, the next can be horrible. One might think that with the prices CVS charges they could provide an acceptable level of service. GO TO ANOTHER PHARMACY and get the service and lower prices you deserve! Called for refill and had problems and asked to speak with the pharmacist. Person answering all the calls (called in several times in a row,) sais he was the pharmacist. Although possible it is surely seems unlikely the pharmacist would be the primary person answering all calls. Next call I asked to speak with the pharmacy manager and was hung up on! read more

Incompetence. Different people all the time (turnover is not good anywhere but especially people filling your prescriptions). I was dropping off my perceptions after visiting the dr and was told they don't have the hydro codeine for the cough syrup what do I want to do...I said when will you have it...idk probably next week...(it's cold and flu season). I said ok I'll just go and get that filled somewhere else can you fill the antibiotics...we can't fill it without the other...WHAT??? So she went and asked...yes we can fill it but we will have to stamp the other that it's been filled...I said ok. When would you like it...instead of saying it will be ready for your pickup in about 30 minutes...I said when can it be ready...30 minutes...I said I'll be back for it. It looks like they look for ways to not do business...help people...or work things out for people (like calling the cvs down the road to see if they have it so I can get the cough syrup filled). So I guess I'll just find another pharmacy that will have the same people instead of a revolving door. read more
