Love this Publix. I have visited multiple times and am always greeted warmly by the employees. They ooften take the time to ask about my plans for the day, and they even ask follow-up questions at future visits. It makes me feel welcomed and valued. I usually shop early morning when they're first opened. I'm never disappointed when I go. They have a really good bakery that is well stocked. The staff is very accommodating too. read more

Really upset with the customer service I just received from getting a sub at this location, I was just trying to get a sub and simply forgot to say that I wanted salami and turkey on my sub, this sub was for my mom not me. When she came back with the sliced turkey I said "can I also get salami" she came back with attitude "so you want salami too" I said yes sorry I forgot to say that, she went and sliced salami and then came back and proceeded to put a singular slice of turkey on the sandwich I said "can you add another slice" she came back with the most attitude "so you want double meet, you need to tell me what you want you need to tell me what you want" and was laughing. This came across as very rude as I simply forgot my mom wanted salami also, she had no customer service skills she had me very flustered and shaky as I do not like to talked to like this. NO ONE DOES when they are just trying to get a sub. Sorry you hate your job so much and sorry I'm making you do your job? I should never leave publix angry and upset from just getting a sub. I placed an online order for a first birthday cake. According to the website, all cakes that say "happy 1st birthday" also come with a matching smash cake. The caveat? You must call and ask! Glad I did! Was the smash cake matching? Nope! Was there a giant lump in the main cake? Yep! Will I order cakes from this public again? probably not! read more

We stopped by to pick up a couple of items for our family gathering. We had gone to another store nearby, but they either didn't have the items we needed, or not enough of the items. Publix did have them, but were significantly higher in price on these items. I had not realized this until we were directly comparing apples to apples, on the same day, and the price difference was so jarring. I still like Publix, but it does make me wish we had one of the other stores here in the Birmingham area. read more

Their bakery "quick decorating" is BEYOND awful. All i wanted was Happy 60th Birthday David written on the cake and even though i got it back and was in shock from how horrible it looked....they 1) put 16 instead of 60 and then 2) spelled David with an e instead of an A and didn't even capitalize the name.....a kindergartner could've done a better job. Next time, just give me the piping bag cause could've written a lot better than this....and they didn't even add the "th" after the number. Never having this publix decorate anything again. Truly horrified as i know this has happened twice, and the instances were a year apart, i would think they would hire better people by now, obviously not. read more

Super nice store. Not one of those massive places where they have just about everything on planet earth and try to be everything to everyone. However due to the size it is truly a neighborhood store. The personnel is very friendly and nice, they are very helpful with directing and perhaps some would walk with you to help you find the item In question. Very clean and orderly. Can't believe all the negative reviews for this Publix. This is the best Publix I have ever been to. I go at least once a week. Front end staff are top-notch, especially Kathy and Folly. They always take the time to say hello to me and my young son. Have always had courteous service at the speciality areas and food is always fresh. This Publix beats the rest by far. read more

I just called to make sure they were open since it's snowing. And this awesome guy named Sebastian answered. I told him I was just craving some weird stuff since I'm pregnant and wanted to make sure they were open before I drove there. This absolute hero says "what are you craving? I'll get it for you and meet you outside to run your card." So I drive up and call back and he brings my groceries and runs my card! I was out of there in less than a minute!! If I could get away with giving them zero stars, I would. Today my sister was racially profiled while attempting to cash her companies holiday bonus check. She went to customer service and was immediately told by Beth Nicole that they would have to call her company to "verify" before they would cash her check. My sister proceeded to call corporate to confirm what she was being told. Unfortunately for Beth Nicole, the sweet customer service rep told my sister it was in fact NOT protocol to call the company, however; it was up to the MANAGERS discretion (Beth Nicole is not a manager at this location). My sister re entered the publix,asked to speaker to a manager. Wes(the manager) was informed on what all transpired and apologized numerous times for the way his staff handled the situation. Moral of the story: don't go to this publix if you are a black or brown person trying to cash a legitimate payroll check. read more

Nice store and friendly staff but if you are having a sandwich made at the Deli, don't have Adam make it. I got home and I had bread with the sandwich inards next to it. Adam is working as a cashier now and he isn't very personable. Watch your eggs, he's very tough with your groceries. Working with people isn't his strength. read more

The cashiers were so rude to me and my baby. They didn't greet me or thank me for my business. The cashier didn't speak one word during the entire check out process, and loked annoyed and disgusted that she's even working there. When my 2 year old toddler was trying to talk to the cashier, she gave him a mean stare. I'm really disappointed at this publix's customer service.
