The pharmacy here is incredibly frustrating. Complete lack of communication, and when you are able to speak to someone, most are incredibly rude. Multiple staff at this pharmacy have also told me completely wrong information as well. Due to the incredibly unprofessional conduct here, I have run out of meds and needed to transfer to other pharmacies last minute. Would highly recommend seeking care elsewhere if you want to avoid lapses in important medication. read more

Worst customer service ever... if you want to be generous and call it service After placing a photo order and receiving an email it was ready I went the following day to pick it up. The order was impossible for the cashier to find. When he did only half was completed. After he called up someone else to help him find it. His line kept getting bigger and the manager kept dropping off things and walking away. There was at least 12 people in line at this point. The other employee said he needed to reprint my order and I said id wait on the side. After 30 min and the customers are still in a long line I went to find someone who could help me. I approached the manager who was putting out price stickers and asked if she was the manager. Her response was "I'm a manager". So rude. She agreed to go see if she could help. After she finally arrived she told me my order hadn't printed and there were others in front of mine. No estimate on time or apology. Told her I had to leave. Again no consideration for my inconvenience or apology I came back the next day and she saw me walk in. She gave me a serious eye roll. The new checker was trying to rush me out. I was not about to pay for this without making sure the pictures were correct. I've received someone else's before. This person was also rude. I would recommend staying away from this CVs. Used to be my favorite because of all they have in stock but needs some serious customer service training!! read more

This entire company has gone to shit! When it comes to customer service! I order my meds online and get a notification that it's ready, I drive to pick up my meds and it's still not ready! Then they want me to wait 20 min! I tried to transfer my meds to another CVS but was unable to do so online. I called multiple times to reach a LIVE agent and couldn't speak to anyone. Everything is locked up and the store is understaffed. I tried to pick up some AAA batteries and they were all locked up. There was a line at the register and no employees in sight. I left and bought them at the grocery store. This would be a convenient location if they would make it easier to purchase things. read more

CVS at this location is my usual go to, and I love the fact that they have a drive-thru! It just makes picking up prescriptions, etc. so much easier I used to love walking in because I could shop and find some cool deals. The numerous panhandlers both inside and outside of the store is pretty much taken that away. This location is usually closed for 30 minutes during the work week for their lunch, but the drive-thru is open to around 7/7:30 PM most evenings during the week. There have been a few times that I've been by and they've been closed. They are open on weekends also! Pre-Covid, this was probably the best location in the area, and since then, it's really has become one of several locations that I have to go to to pick up prescriptions and more pharmacy items for myself for the family. This location really does make an effort to stock various medication's more than some of the other ones in the area. The challenges there seems to be a constant rotating staff, and once I get to know someone, they seem to be moved to another store, etc. . They take most insurance for prescriptions, and will either text or call to let you know when your prescription is ready. I really appreciate the extra touch so that I don't have to call and ask. Not all pharmacies offer this. They're also really good about letting you know when it's time to refill medication's. I like the CVS app as well because it will let me take care of refills that way, and they also offered delivery /mailed prescriptions for a fee. read more

Tried to buy some sunscreen. 75% of the merchandise at this store is locked up. After waiting 15 minutes for someone to help me, nobody had come so I left. I'm sure the policy of locking everything up looks good on a spreadsheet to someone at corporate. Not sure how practical it is. read more

The pharmacy reps were nice and attentive. I was here for a covid test as I need it to be cleared to go back to work. It was like pulling teeth asking a floor associate if they had covid test. He made no eye contact with me and was giggling with his other floor associate. He looked at me briefly and said, "we have none" and quite literally walked away from me to continue talking to another associate. Didn't say anything else to me. Didn't get any names, but it's 8/24 Thursday @5:50 pm if your team wants to figure out who it was. "Hello, no I'm so sorry we're out" is all I needed and isn't very hard to deliver. read more

Went to pick up my prescription that my Doctor called in to this CVS only to find out that the pharmacist included my FULL medical diagnosis on the label on the bottle and on the paperwork that I needed to send in to my FSA. After speaking with my Doctors office and finding out what was sent over to them and that the pharmacist took it upon themselves to do this, I am appalled at this kind of practice. I've gotten several prescriptions from them before, none of which include my diagnosis. I'm sure this is some kind of HIPAA violation. read more

I stopped in here to pickup my free 8x10 photo that I have been never getting around to scooping up for a few weeks now. I used to come in here primarily for Redbox. Rent and return. I don't anymore due to having a plethora of other movie options now at home. Also, we used to have our RX here until they transferred us from this location to Target CVS. So I rarely get in here much now. I do know they have had countless shoplifting, robberies and have been the victim of problem-peeps as there are many low-income and section 8 apts that definitely contribute to these incidents in this shopping center. Willie J's, the nail salon, Fitness 19 (gone), Ace Hardware, Dollar Tree, smoke/vape shop (gone) have all been victims of robberies and theft. The trash cans overflow without pickup. The parking lot has had breakins. Sad state of affairs in this center. They need security and more cameras at this center. I avoid this center unless I need something at one of these stores. I have nothing against CVS. I like this drugstore and chain (a late comer to the Nor Cal market). It is the clientele and the location which is the drawback to this CVS. read more

I send my brother to buy a cold medicine I'm a regular customer we pick our prescription all the time from this location when we need help and need someone to help the store manager always been rude with us cause being Muslim always ask him questions he never answer nicely when he doesn't know nothing about the stuff inside of store why he is manager then what is the point of being manager. And tonight he been rude with us and ask ID for no reason when I ask him why he didn't have any explanation for asking ID I ask the same question more than one time and he didn't give answer why being rude all the time when I give him my ID he scan the ID more than one time and he end up not helping us and he blame we were being rude to him but he was the one who was rude and disrespectful and this was not his first time we really need someone to work and manage people should be treated the same not religious and look matters. I love to support local businesses and I was pleasantly surprised by this little pharmacy tucked away in the corner of my local strip mall. They have a drive up pharmacy window and the staff are super helpful and so sweet inside the store and at the drive up. They address each customer with courtesy and patience. The CVS is small inside , but has a nice variety of the usual things that you go to the pharmacy for. Lovely people! Outside the drive up window area needs wiping down once a day because of the spiders that are prolific in this area, but otherwise it's a convenient service. read more

My rating is for my interaction with the pharmacy and general merchandise shopping experience. As for the pharmacy, my family and I have experienced good in-person customer service. My family moved from another state to California and the pharmacy staff have been punctual, professional and candid with their service. I have watched other customers become irate with them for things they cannot control like actions by the ordering providers or inadequate insurance coverage. Finally I concur with other customers' reports about the difficulty with reaching a pharmacist by phone. I tried multiple times to talk to someone in the pharmacy by phone without success so 1 star knocked off my rating. I do not bother and just go to the pharmacy and speak to someone at their consultation window. They handled the situation as they should so for the experiences I have had personally and for the situations I have personally witnessed, I give them a 4/5. With regards to my experience with purchasing items in the rest of the store, it can be a challenge depending on what you want to purchase. Like other stores in the area, they have to lock up items like razors, body wash, etc. When folks say they would rather go to Walmart, I would have to disagree if you're planning on going to the one a mile south on Truxel. I have not had a problem with getting the items I need once I find someone to help me. One thing I want to stress is that if you want people to treat you with courtesy, then you should treat others equally as well. Since it is a little challenging to get someone to unlock items for you, I took off a star from my rating for the general merchandise section. I give this store 4/5 also for how well their shelves are stocked, cleanliness of the store and the general customer service I have personally experienced. read more

Can't recommend this place for passport pictures if you have any kinds of special needs. Took my 4 year old autistic daughter there for pictures and while it is not easy to get her to look in the camera it's doable. The women who did it was rude and impatient talking in a very demanding tone to our child and us and when she said "well let me know when she's ready" because she got annoyed after 2 minutes we left and went somewhere else. read more

Terrible clinic service. Manager name started with an A (didn't catch his full name) and had glasses. I set an appointment to get my COVID-19 vaccination shots weeks prior to the date of the shots. Got my first one smoothly then was told to come back on the date I set online for the 2nd shot. Came back on time and was told by the manager that they didn't have the shot I needed. I'd figure if I set an appointment online with all of my info that if they ran out of shots for me they could contact me to let me know and reschedule my appointment. The manager tells me to come in tomorrow to see if they got the shots because they'll be getting a shipment of them by then. I stayed calm and professional, came back the next morning, and no shots. Manager told me to go to another CVS and make an appointment with them. So now I wasted my time going to this CVS twice when I could've just been contacted about it without going in. read more

This CVS is usually quite busy and backed up, and whenever I call and speak to Ahmed, he makes sure that I'm well taken care of. He's the best pharmacist of evert single CVS I've ever been to. read more

This location is great, I really enjoy their friendly customer service every time I shop here. I walk here almost every week for my household essentials. I'm always greeted as I walk in the entrance and always checked out in a timely and efficient manner. My only complaint has to be Isabel. Her customer service could use improvements. When she assisted me at checkout it just seemed like she may be having a bad day, she didn't greet me the entire duration. She seemed annoyed to help me and made me feel like a nuisance rather than a valued customer. Maybe it was a bad day, I don't want to jump to judgements, I just have high standards in regards to serving customer service. I work in customer service and expect to be treated the way I'd treat you. Now that my rant is over, this CVS will still remain one of my favorites! read more

This review applies to the pharmacy only and echoes much of what others have already posted. I needed to have a prescription filled at this location since my usual CVS did not have the medication in stock. My doctor called the rx in on Thursday afternoon and so on Friday morning, I called to make sure it was ready for pickup since it was not showing up on my CVS account. After a 35 minute wait on hold, they said it would be ready in 2 hours. I went to the pharmacy 2.5 hours later and was told it was still in process and would be another 40-50 minutes. I needed to get back to work and could not wait but said I would be back later that afternoon. I returned 5 HOURS later and it still had not been filled. Luckily, the pharmacy tech I spoke with was the same person who helped me earlier and was very apologetic and able to get the rx completed in about 10 minutes. Ok, great. I know not to use this location in the future and am finally on my way. Once we get onto the freeway, I get a call from the pharmacy requesting that I return because they miscounted the medication. No problem, I exit the freeway and start to make my way back. What's 20 more minutes after all of the time I've already spent trying to get this prescription filled? The traffic looked terrible anyway. Five minutes later, I get a 2nd call from the pharmacy saying that there was actually no mistake and I did not need to come back. At that point, I pulled off to the side of the road and verified that the medication I received was correct before heading home. Again. Fast forward to a week later and my doctor's office called a refill of a different in to the same location on Club Center Drive instead of my preferred location on El Camino Ave. No big deal, I figured the pharmacy must have been abnormally busy last week and to give them another try. I called three days after the rx was submitted since it was not showing in my account again and still have no idea what is going on with it because after being on hold for 45 minutes without so much as a "please hold" or sign of life from their end, I have not been able to talk to anyone. [Since it is a new prescription number each time the doctor submits a refill, I cannot use the automated phone system since I do not know the rx # and for whatever reason, both prescriptions I've had called into this location do not show in my CVS account.] I've been using one CVS location or another for years, mostly due to convenience, and have had my fair share of annoying incidents but this location is ridiculous. While the actual employees I've had interactions with seem competent and apologetic, it is infuriating to be left on hold for 45+ minutes at a time. They need to hire more people or implement a call back/carrier pigeon/smoke signal system before I'd ever consider using this location again. read more

CVS-2050 Club Center Dr, Sacramento I've had to call, for 2 days now! EACH CALL, attempting to reach SOMEONE, ANYONE.... I first had to go through the automated song and dance( each time you call ) after asking for the PHARMACIST, I was put on hold 3 different times, JUST TODAY !! Because the 1st wait time was 17 min ! And I thought, that's outrageous! Waited a couple of minutes .... 2nd attempt, to reach the pharmacist was, get this..... 26 minutes!! WHAT, NO WAY!! So, I then waited a half hour... 3rd attempt was NOW "39 min". My husband, who works for a hospital, tried for me on his phone... I thought he would suffer a stoke., His temples We're pulsing with the veins popping out! Now, I wouldn't even write a review but, this is ALL THE TIME!! ALL IN ATTEMPT TO FIND OUT WHEN MY PRESCRIPTION WILL BE READY!! In the past I've gone in WITHOUT CONFIRMING and you end up sitting there for 30 + minutes !!! It seems like a waist of time but then, when they're out of stock!!! You get the picture There should be NEGATIVE STARS! Because that's what I would give this CVS !! read more

I wait for my prescriptions that are called in for WEEKS because they cannot get it together and blame it on people not wanting to work which isn't true - they want to pay the bare minimum wage and it shows. I have spent HOURS on hold only to be hung up on. The staff are rude, they don't care about their customers, and have literally no idea what they are doing. Go literally anywhere else. read more

At 1pm I arrived at this CVS to turn in my prescription. I had just had oral surgery. They said they were busy and to come back in an hour. I did not get a text from them telling me it was ready so at 5 Pam I called. They told me they forgot about my prescription and it will be ready in an hour. By now I'm in pain form surgery. I arrive at 630. It's not ready. They need authorization. By now my dentist is gone for the weekend and they don't work on Monday. This CVS is understaffed and the new people working there are not properly trained. I will be moving my prescriptions and my families prescriptions somewhere with competent staff. read more

Worst customer service ever! I watched how the pharmacist Irma payed attention to how her girls Melinda and Dominique treated me with disrespect. Melinda had such a horrible attitude from the moment I walked up. Irma could hear how the 2 girls berated me and accused me that I was at fault for the ID cards not being on file! Dominique confirmed that the cards were on file (after I drove back home to get them). I asked to speak to Irma the pharmacist after who never apologized for her girls ATTITUDE! My parents are 82 and 86 and have told me about how terrible it is every time they have to pick up a medication. Now I know exactly what they are going through. I believe that top down management is part of the reason for the girls behavior. If Irma encourages this behavior then of course the whole team will do the same! read more

I will never understand why CVS won't staff this very busy pharmacy appropriately. Whenever I call there is a 20-30+ min wait to talk to someone and the lines and wait times at the store are too long. When I finally get to talk to someone they are usually kind and helpful, but you have to wait too long if you're lucky enough to get someone. CVS HIRE SOME PEOPLE!!! read more

First of all, the CVS corporate coupon policy and rewards program is great. CVS aligns sales with the Sunday coupons and the website will provide a sneak peek of the their circular by the end of the previous week. The extra rewards expiration dates are reasonable, they give you ample time to use the reward dollars, usually within 3 weeks. The rewards dollars barcode is printed right on your paper receipt. This particular CVS is a stand alone building in a small center holding a Dollar Tree, Fitness 19, nail shop, burger joint, smoke shop, massage place, and Indian small grocer. The shopping center is located smack dab in the burbs. There is plenty of parking. The store is clean and well lite. They even have a Redbox inside. The staff has been great, I have no complaints. After reading other reviews, I suppose I am lucky with my interactions with the staff. FYI--Store hours are different than the pharmacy and photo center. They all have different hours. Bonus the store opens 7am except for Sunday 8am. So I advise you to check the website. read more

I have always enjoyed going to this cvs I always go to this one because it's close never had an issue until today. I have never in my life been profiled. I work a full time job. I came today to get my blood pressure meds I seen the manger but I thought nothing of it until he began following us me and my daughter. My daughter asked why he was following us he replied he was putting things away on the shelf. Ok we then went to another isle because wanted body wash who appears the manger acting like he is putting things away. I then grab what I need and walk to the self check out. I look in the video and noticed him standing behind me with another person watching me as I check out. At that point I am done and put my items on the counter I refuse to purchase anything. I asked for corporate numbers he gives this you guys said this and that I was polite when I said I said nothing to you and who is you guys needless to say he was very u professional read more

I visit this CVS once maybe twice a month sometimes. Although service can be quite slow (its hit or miss) I'm glad they are in the neighborhood. This CVS is within walking distance for many people in the neighborhood and is surprisingly stocked with a little more than your basic needs. There are just some evenings when you don't feel like driving after a long day just to pick up an ingredient your missing or something that your ran out off. One of the best things about this CVS is they have a Redbox. Just be careful and note their hours so you don't try to return your rental after they've closed. read more

This is my go-to store when I need something fast since it's so close to my house. Avoid the pharmacy if you can. The people working there are rude and always way too stressed out. The rest of the people in the store however are pretty nice. The line can get long in the evening, especially when the crazies show up to argue over their brand of cigarettes being out of stock or why canned soda doesn't go on sale when the 2-liters do (this one delayed our line by an extra 5 minutes because she wouldn't stop arguing with the cashier) or my personal favorite, shoplifters grabbing booze and sprinting out the front door. This has happened twice and each time the cashiers all run out after them, leaving the customers just standing inside to wait for the ordeal to be over. They never catch the culprits either. Seems dangerous if you ask me. Do the employees get punished for not chasing after shoplifters? Because there is no way I would risk getting shot over a bottle of Popov vodka. Still, this place has an awesome Redbox. I'm often here renting movies and they nearly always have what I'm looking for. It has broken down a few times, which unfortunately means I need to go to the awfully located Raley's Redbox kiosks. read more

Convenient and well stocked location with everything you need from groceries to greeting cards. The outside grounds were full of trash and the landscaping is not being maintained. This visit was one of the worst experiences I have ever encountered with a healthcare provider.  I was discriminated due to the color of my skin.  I went to the Minute Clinic and was seen by Jessica Layug NP, for a  basic school physical . When I first encountered Ms. Laygo she was very rude, dismissive and angry. I kindly ignored her whole demeanor because I needed my school paperwork filled out.  When I handed Ms. Laygo my school form she snatched it out of my hand which took me by surprise. Before Ms. Laygo opened my medical chart she looked at me and told me that she might not be able to clear my physical for NP school.  During the visit I felt uncomfortable because she was very snappy and belittling when she asked me questions regarding my health. As a Registered Nurse this is not acceptable behavior. She made me lay on her exam table that was not clean even when I kindly expressed my concern. I was not treated like a human and kindness/ compassion was not involved in this visit. I feel like my race played a huge part in the way I was treated. Minute Clinic this concept is good but without providers that serve the community with Kindness and compassion it will be a total waste. Ms. Laygo you delivered substandard care that was racially motivated and not culturally appropriate. read more
