Left my husband in pain and without medication. Incompetent. Drove my husband home from the hospital this afternoon. On the way, we stopped at CVS Natomas to fill his urgent discharge medications. We requested to wait, as he needed the medication. They convinced us they would have them ready and call him n 20 minutes. We waited and received no call or text or email. I drive over to find them closed. I don't know how any pharmacy can leave a patient suffering like this. read more

I didn't know CVS was full of racist? My cousin is here on vacation from Mexico and didn't want to sell him beer, even when he showed her his ID. She asked him if he was legal here, if he had a passport, and why was he so dirty. 1. My cousin was not dirty, he was helping my uncle with a few painting things in his house. 2. You are not a police officer or anything to be interrogating a customer. If it was for me I would've said something but I'm barely finding this out now that I'm getting home. Clueless ! Waited 24 hours after the doctor ordered my prescription and called for a status. After waiting close to an hour on the phone, someone finally answered. They took another 30 minutes to find both prescriptions. Two hours later they text that one had been filled. Went down to pick up the prescriptions. Only one had been filled and they had no clue about the second one. Spent another 30 minutes for them to find the second to be filled. They told me it would be 15 minutes more to get it filled. 30 minutes later they texted that it was ready. Uggh! read more

I don't normally do reviews, but after seeing all the reviews here, I have to. I don't like to wait, so I only use the drive thru and make sure my meds are ready before I leave my home. There has been an occasional issue, however there is no Pharmacy I've ever used that didn't have a glitch now & then. I bought a Townhome a block or two from CVS Dec 2018. I've lived here 2 full years now and until just recently, never heard about any trouble. As for this being a crime ridden area I did a Lexis-Nexis sweep of crimes within 1 mile of my home for most recent 6 months. Compared it to the exact same parameters using a family members home in the now Pricey Tahoe Park area and Wowee, we here are a Sleepy little town comparatively. There is crime everywhere, trust. In my home buying search I did Lexis-Nexis crime mapping for every single one in MANY areas. That doesn't mean we shouldn't be vigilant, just wow. I haven't noticed the overflowing garbage cans here, nor do I recall boarded up windows? Something I have noticed? For awhile on my Ring Doorbell/Neighbors app., certain peeps going on & on about being Ghetto. I've said this to them, prior to reporting them, the only thing Ghetto I've seen are ALL OF YOU SAYING GHETTO. read more

I used to love this pharmacy but lately they been terrible, really terrible. Even though I gotten a text message my prescription is ready, when I went to pick it up they said it is not ready yet. It happened multiple times. Seems like they are always short handed. I went to the one on W. El Camino and I was blown how different their service is. Not the best location but customer service is way better. read more

Worst customer service ever. Ordered photo prints online. After standing around for 45 min with nothing but rude answers about why my pictures weren't printing I was told there was nothing they could do to print the pictures and instructed to file for a refund online. Do not give this place your business. Sad to say but I've gotten better customer service from Walmart. read more

This is my favorite neighborhood corner CVS location outside of downtown and midtown Sacramento. Welcome to suburbia i.e. Natomas.The CVS on Club Center is centrally located near parks, trails, main streets, and placed near other useful stores such as Dollar Tree and an Ace Hardware. I am able to pass this particular CVS on walks. The sidewalks and the entrance into the store are perfectly planned out. Customer service is outstanding. The store is not overwhelming nor too large nor too small. The aisles are well organized. While the CVS blends in quite well with the neighborhood. Wish all CVS located in suburbia were placed with sidewalks and next to other useful establishments in reasonable walking distances. read more

I don't understand why the Redbox doesn't ever work here. There should be an option to print at the register before you shop since the machine is often not working and some deals only print at the machine and not available on the app. Also you guys are always out of baskets, I've even tried walking outside to look in the parking lot for some and didn't find any. The staff here are super nice and helpful though and that's why I'm giving 4 stars, but fix the machine or add all deals to the app and save paper! read more

If I could I would give no star no wonder this place is going downhill, pharmacy tech in training have bad temperament, Indian pharmacist she looks down as if she has seen someone or something inappropriate. If they don't want to deal with customers why work they are the ones who should have good and friendly behavior rather then staying and showing there fake attitude or may be they work for free that's why they act in this manner. My primary reason for this review is the food offerings. I went there to buy frozen meals and each one has been molded over. Today I went to buy dried fruit and it expired 1/20. A year and a half ago. I don't know who runs this store but this is absolutely disgusting and something has to change. read more

We are SO grateful for the help of the pharmacy staff at CVS - Club Center Dr - Natomas, Jan 10th & 11th, I don't even know where to begin. My father was in town for a long holiday visit (a month), when his flight home was canceled due to a winter snow storm. He became a bit panicked knowing he didn't pack enough insulin (he's been a type 1 diabetic since childhood, he's 75 now). His insulin comes by mail - so his CVS prescription was long since expired. After his doctor's office giving us the run around, and all the stress involved in dealing with them, it was the CVS staff who really pulled through for us. I must have called CVS a dozen times. I felt so bad about calling them so much, that we finally went in so we could work with them face to face. I've seen how the pharmacy has to mega-multitask with customers in line, customers in the drive through, and on the phone - and I wasn't going to add to their stress. :) Not only did they call my father's doctor quite a few times (their office was unexpectedly closed, and we were working with the on-call dr), but they then worked with my dad's insurance to help him lower his out of pocket expense (insulin's not cheap). My dad has serious short term memory loss, and will not remember something said to him 5 minutes prior - the staff was so kind & patient with my dad, which lowered his stress levels (he also has heart problems), and helped him understand the process. I cannot thank EVERYONE at the pharmacy enough - I wish I could share ALL of their names, however, the ones who were truly stuck with helping us most were: Alex, Vu & Sarah. A special thanks to Alex for helping us the night before, as well, by calling in our request to renew the prescription, unbeknownst to us. Vu gave us excellent advice about working with Dad's insurance to help lower the cost. We just want you all to know that this was truly a life or death situation. My dad was having serious blood sugar issues (getting harder as he ages), and we worried that his fear of not having insulin for his nighttime shot would create heart/blood pressure issues, complicating matters. Thank you SO so much. We see how hard you ALL work to ensure that your clients are safely cared for - and it made a difference to our family! read more

This is the worst pharmacy I have used in my 70 years on this planet. Almost every time I need a refill I end up on hold for 20 minutes several times only to be told it's not ready or that I have to go to another CVS to have it filled. Yesterday at about 3pm an urgent care facility sent an antibiotic prescription here. I have an acute infection causing me pain. I kept viewing the CVS app and got "in process" until 11am today 20 hours later! I then drove to the store and was told it would be ready in 1-2 minutes. 15 minutes later they called me up. I do not work so I have plenty of time, therefore i have called during many different times trying to speak to someone, to no avail. I have to drive there to get a prescription filled even on auto-fill. When i get there the are always one or two workers who are chatting. I hear the phones ring and not one staff member moves. I frequently shop at the CVS store on Club Center Drive, Sacramento. The people are pleasant and accommodating. I would particularly like to acknowledge Shivani. Shivani went out of her way to be sure I received the product I needed. At the time, I was unable to walk more than 10 feet. She brought me a much needed item. The pharmacy only has one pharmacist on staff at a time , this is the 3rd time ive gotten a txt my Rx is ready and then I go to pick things up and I get the "the pharmacist is on lunch it's gonna be an hour till we can release this to you" do better, have more then one pharmacist on staff! CVS would have a 5/5 from me, but their pharmacy sucks! Anytime I go in for my medication I have to wait for hours(90%), it's a good thing I love so near. Plus they don't have the Trade name anymore, only the generic that doesn't work near as well... The pharmacists and pharm techs are always very kind though! Never had a problem with that. Only my prescription. Apart from that... CVS is amazing. Screw walgreens and rite aid! I love CVS extra bucks. There are always good deals on beauty supplies, hair products, etc. I once bought a razor+ blades for only 4$.. Crazy considering the normal price! A few days ago I used my 6.50$ coupon to buy shampoo that was on sale for 2/7$! I practically paid nothing. read more

Was really looking forward to the new CVS Drug store opening in Rio Linda with the Thrifty ice cream counter in it. This is a brand new store I have been in 3 times and every time there is a long line to get checked out with apparently just one person to cover checking out and the ice cream end. I just had a pair of sun glasses to purchase I finally get up to check out, said to the young lady, "Wow you are busy today"! She told me "we only have this one register open we called maintenance to fix it but they said it wasn't a priority and just use the one register". Now this is a brand new store and customer service should be a high priority for brand new customers to get a good image and feel confident about shopping here. So far three times and always slow service. Think I'll just drive a little farther and stick to Walgreens. read more

This review is for the pharmacy only - if you can go anywhere else, you should. The people that work behind the counter are rude (yes Robin, I'm talking about you) and for some reason are really incompetent to refill your prescriptions. On two occasions I've had them "short me" on my quantities and when I came in to talk to someone they actually confessed that this happens often with this type of prescription. I've transferred all my prescriptions to a different CVS and couldn't be happier. read more

Worst CVS in California. Pharmacy always delayed. Cashiers throughout entire store...clueless. They never have Make up in stock or it's very old and dried out. Their nail polishes are really old and shouldn't be on the shelves. The manager here is very rude and lacks zero customer service. I don't think they train their employees at all. Just a hop, skip & jump away from me is CVS formally Longs Drugs. They totally revamped the store layout and that was a little confusing at first. I pick up everything and anything here from my prescriptions, a bottle of vodka, makeup to a pack of gum and some cash. CVS has an ExtraCare card (free sign-up) where you can earn % back with every purchase and $1 buck for every 2 prescriptions. The discounts usually print out at the bottom of your receipt. Just got my photos printed here. I chose the one hour prints option but noticed that it started printing right away. I asked one of the associates if they were mine and how long it would take. She said if you dont mind waiting a few minutes it should be done soon. So i waited (saves me another drive here). When it was done and i go to pay with the same associate, she charges me the "print in seconds" option which is 35¢ (compared to 20¢) and i told her i chose the one hour one and that its not my fault it printed right away (no other print jobs before me so why wouldn't it right??). She stared into space for 10 seconds and says 'well it printed rightaway so I'm gna charge you for it'. Wtf. What was supposed to be a 6$ batch of photos (orig i was trying to print online but had problems so i went into the store) turned into $19. Super pissed. read more

A lot of the snacks are past the best buy date which is kind of ridiculous for a CVS. Something I would expect for a gas station. A lot of the isles are messy and disorganized. The pharmacy is also really slow and it takes them sometimes 20 minutes to get your prescription out. read more

Poor customer service - I bought a medical item and the day that I purchased the item I was told by the manager that it could be returned if needed. When I tried it return it with a receipt I was told I could not return it by another manager. They did not try to remedy the situation in any way. That was $50 down the drain. Bad service and impolite. I have been waiting an hour for this location to fulfill a request for me. The pharmacist I spoke with signed me up for text alerts and told me to wait for the update. (Last time I had a transfer between pharmacies it was about 30 minutes.) When I call I am met by another pharmacist who is short with me, pointing out that he can't give me a prescription that's not there, rather than listening to me ask for them to have it sent there. (Which clearly means I know it's not there. And it will not be there unless they request it.) I let him know the pharmacist I spoke with an hour ago said they would put in the request but since they did not, could he do it. He told me once again the prescription is not there. It would be a three hour wait if I want him to fulfill the request. I said ok well never mind, then started to ask another question. He never heard it because he hung up in my ear. No compassion, no thank you for calling CVS, no respect. I will no longer patronize this CVS. Medications are important, and I deserve better than this. Now I have to find another CVS after killing over an hour in time waiting on these buffoons. read more

You never know when you need a condom, and a grocery store always seems like an awkward place to go when picking up only condoms. Don't know why... maybe all the people in line that see that your in line only for condoms... Like your there announcing to the whole store, "I'm getting laid tonight baby yeah!" Not a big fan of going to a liquor store or gas station for one either. For some reason going to get condoms there just makes me feel sleazy or that I'm willing to pay extra for protected sex that is cheapen by the fact that your at a liquor store or gas station. I'm sorry if I have now ruined any future liquor or gas station store condom buying experiences you may have! CVS is a drugstore that not only fills prescriptions, but can also be used as a drug information center and basic consultation service for simple medical needs like inhalers, drug safety, and cold and flu advice. They had purchased many if not all the Longs Drugs location in the Sacramento area, and have a similar setup to Longs/Walgreen's/Rite Aid. I checked out their website and it seems pretty user friendly as far as getting information about CVS, filling or transferring prescriptions, locations, and community programs the company is involved in. It's also a convenient place if you need to pick up some basic house hold needs such as toiletries, cleaning products, and probably condoms. read more

Growing up, my local pharmacy was the Long's on Folsom and when CVS bought it out, I was surprised with how seamlessly the transition was. The same pharmacists and staff stayed on and the quality did not drop at all. When I moved up to Natomas, I needed a new pharmacy and so I had all of my prescriptions moved over to the Club Center CVS. I loved that they also had a drive thru prescription pick up but after I went to the location for the first time, I quickly changed my mind on using that service. Unlike the Folsom Blvd location, there always seemed to be seedy people milling about the parking lot and entryway to the store that made me a bit uneasy. I went to get my prescription and waited in a twenty minute line. This occurred every once in a while at the other location when there was a long line but I was the only person in line. There were two staffers behind the register "helping" the customers in front of me but they were doing absolutely nothing. One of the women would just walk out of sight of the customer (but still in my sight) and just wait for a while behind the racks of prescriptions. Was she stalling or trying to defuse a situation with the customer? I have no idea. After the ridiculously long wait, it an additional five minutes for them to locate my single prescription that had already been called in and was waiting in their alphabetical filing system. Ugh. What is going on here? I decided to give them another shot and was once again greeted by a ridiculously long wait with no people in front of me. However, when I reached the counter to pick up the prescription, they informed me that they didn't fill it. It was called in but there was an error and they never filled it. I walked out and drove down the street to Raley's Pharmacy and had them transfer over all the prescriptions. My prescription was filled and ready for me later that afternoon. The staff there is great and I love the pharmacists! If you are thinking about transferring to this CVS, DON'T!! Their staff is ridiculously incompetent and rude. They simply do not have time for you. Take your business elsewhere! read more

Whoever was working the pharmacy today (8/28/2020 @ about 5:50PM) gave the WORSE customer service I've ever had at a pharmacy. As a consultant/trainer, I travel and live all over the country, and am in fact, a technical trainer for pharmacies right now. Usually, the pharmacists and technicians I've dealt with, both professionally and personally, have been very caring and accommodating. WTF happened here? A simple question on whether they had rubbing alcohol available (since I couldn't find it on the shelves) made me feel like a frickin' nuisance as I was barked at to check with the front of the store. A customer ... anyone really ... should not be made to feel that way. Especially since I asked in a friendly and polite manner. Glad I don't live near here anymore. Too bad, it was nice to come back to Sacramento/Natomas, until now. If any leadership reads this - deal with it! 'Cause I can guarantee it - I won't ever come back. read more

Pedro, the manager. Last month, I stopped by this cvs on my way home from a family reunion and had to grab 3 packs of baby diapers. The manager, Pedro, rung me up and he had the audacity to tell me to get back in line because I was doing 3 separate transactions. I cant believe a MANAGER said this? Its first come, first serve. A manager should have supered customer services skills and especially not be rude about it. I cant believe that is it the manager, he needs some serious customer service training. I will be showing up again to do multiple transactions and if I get the same treatment, I will definitely be complaining to corporate. read more

Worst pharmacy. The staff is rude and cold. I've never waited less than 30 minutes to get my prescription. Two separate occasions I've received emails telling me that my prescription is ready, only to arrive and have them explain that it wasn't ready and to come back at a later time. Courtney is the only polite teller we've encountered at this location. I didn't get the name of the skinny blonde girl who has helped us on a few occasions--but she's quite possibly the snottiest person we've ever met, and clearly hates her job. read more

The Pharmacy services are pathetic. They do not fill your prescription with all the medications that is mentioned on the doctor's prescription, and don't even inform you if anything is missing. I went back a day after pickup and was told I have a 1 hr wait for the missing medications? To top it off they don't even have the courtesy to let you know it's ready. Simply put pathetic customer service with no care of customer time! read more

The only reason I will return is for prescriptions due the convenience of the location and price with my health insurance. If I find a reasonable alternative I will NEVER shop here again. I've had more than one terrible experience, but today was the worst. I frequently walk in the neighborhood and had my two kids with me, under 5. I waited in line to ask the clerk if someone could help me with Passport photos. She paged someone to come to the front on the loud speaker. I then moved closer to the photo station to then watch the individual she called walk past me and open a register to help the line. The clerk that paged him informed him I was waiting for passport photos. He then looked over at me and said "Ma'am the line comes before Passport photos." Now had I not waited in line already to ask if there was someone that could help with these services, I would have deemed his response acceptable. That was not the case, as I walked out of the store the clerk that paged him looked at me and said "sorry". While that was a nice gesture, it simply was not enough. She could have taken more control of the situation. Finally, I called to at notify the Store Manager to be left on hold for 10 minutes and told he left early for the day and is not back to the store until Friday. Best of luck with business, hopefully they try some customer service training. read more

The checkout line is usually very slow and inundated with people who seem to indulge in certain herbal substances if you go on nights or weekends. The plus side to this is that they have a wide selection of snacks! And there's a convenient Redbox inside the store. read more

This CVS is clean, easy to navigate, and (most importantly) the only place near Natomas Park that sells some groceries and doesn't have a long line. I like coming here late at night when I need something random like milk, eggs, and movie snacks. I like that I can get in and out quickly. The nearby grocery stores seem to have huge checkout lines at this time. I do hate the parking lot, but that is not CVS's fault. It is just a pain to have to go though the entire parking lot and another stop light just to get back on the road. read more

Don't come to this nightmare CVS. Just don't. I stopped in Thursday to pick up a prescription, told me it was out of stock and to come tomorrow because it'd be in for sure. Ok, I came Friday. Still not in stock, but gave me enough to last the weekend and to come on Monday, it'd be in stock then. Ok, I came Monday and guess what? You guessed it, still nothing in stock. They told me that they had nothing for me, and when I explained what happened they were like "Oh, wait 20 minutes, we'll have it ready for you." So, I waited my 20 minutes and got back in line only for them to tell me that it's still out of stock. Miley Cyrus' "The Climb" playing over the store speakers was the only thing keeping me going because at this point, this CVS pharmacy has stolen hours of my time. Ended up having to just transfer my prescription. Also, the staff can be pretty rude to non-English speakers. One woman was straight up yelling at the man next to me, who was clearly struggling to follow. read more
