    Christmas needs!
    Courtney O.

Stopped into CVS last night looking for some Christmas goodies. While they had some things, I didn't feel smacked in the face with Christmas options like you normally would be this time of year. It wasn't like they sold out of items, it felt more like they hadn't finished putting everything out on the shelves. I found it odd since it's already December. Either way, we left with a few items! They had a bunch of candy canes and some Grinch items. They even had some Elf on the Shelf items, but overall, I felt a bit letdown by their lack of items. I also didn't like that one of the employees was hovering over me and helping check me out at the self-check out. It felt weird and I know some CVS locations have issues with theft, but I'm perfectly capable of checking out my own items while you watch from afar. Not sure I'll be back to this location!

Michale the store Clerk, who I'm not sure is trained properly or is just lazy!

I had a delivery order with Roadie and pickup was here at 5039 Folsom Blvd, this pickup was needed to be picked up at the store front line.. as I approached the store front line Michael the clerk didn't ask the proper questions I assume because later that evening after he stated he thought it was a "picture order ". I showed him my gig and told him the name of the customer so he could search for the order . He went to a computer looked up a name came back and asked me to provide an email receipt that shows when the order was placed, I would not have access to that info due I am the delivery driver. I reached out to support stating the order was not found during the look up. Customer support then called the store. Michael called Karen the manager over to the phone. When the phone call was over Karen said "the order is waiting to be picked up to the live customer agent on the phone " I have been there for 35 minutes during this 35 minutes Karen is back and forth to the front, right due to Michael consistently needing her assistance .... Karen located the order and did not ask me about the mishaps/miscommunication on their end with her being able to address this it is to help better obtain the order quicker , easier , and more efficient for the next time. I completely thought that maybe there was a malfunction with the 3rd party app and Pharmacy ... I had to explain to her why an apology is necessary I was patient throughout the whole time startd to begin doing some shopping ...

I was told over the phone that it was acceptable to do so. I have been a customer of Pucci Pharmacy for over a year and have had my compounded hormone creams filled there through my healthcare provider. Although I live in the Natomas area and the pharmacy is not close to my home, I have continued using Pucci Pharmacy because I had never experienced any problems before this incident. On May 8, I went to the pharmacy with a bag containing old prescription medications for disposal. After waiting in line, I placed the bag on the counter and explained that I was there to dispose of the medications. The employee assisting me responded that she did not think they could accept them. A younger employee went to the back to ask someone for clarification. During this interaction, I became increasingly uncomfortable. I was already feeling ill because my stomach was upset and I urgently needed to use the restroom. In addition, the employee's tone made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable. As someone on the autism spectrum, situations involving confusion, confrontation, or inconsistent communication can be especially overwhelming. The employee then asked whether I knew when my garbage service collected my trash and suggested that I remove the prescription labels and dispose of the medications myself. At that point, I said, "I'm sorry, I need to leave." As I walked away, I heard someone yell, "You can't leave this here." A male staff member then called me. He seemed frustrated from the beginning of the conversation. I explained that I had only brought the medications because I had been told over the phone that it was acceptable and that the pharmacy needed better communication between staff so customers would receive consistent information. Rather than trying to understand my concerns, the conversation became argumentative. I told him I was becoming frustrated because I felt I was being treated as though I had done something wrong, despite following the instructions I had been given. I asked what we could do to resolve the situation. He responded, "I'm not going to take this," and then hung up on me. Afterward, I called back and spoke with a manager. She was kind, understanding, and professional. I explained that the entire experience had been triggering for me because I am on the autism spectrum and that I believed the pharmacy needed better communication and greater sensitivity when interacting with customers, especially those with disabilities. The manager apologized, and I believed the matter had been resolved. However, on June 30, when I called Pucci Pharmacy regarding my prescriptions, I was placed on hold for an extended period before speaking with someone who identified himself as the owner. He informed me that, because of my previous visit, the pharmacy had decided they would no longer fill my prescriptions. I asked why this decision had been made, especially since I believed my conversation with the manager had ended on good terms and I had been a loyal customer for over a year. The owner stated that he had watched the security video and claimed that the staff had tried to help me, but that I simply walked out and left my "trash." I explained that I did not leave trash. I had brought old prescription medications because I had been told by the pharmacy that I could do so. Yes, I left the pharmacy because I felt overwhelmed, but I also stated that I was leaving. I did not intend to abandon anything improperly, nor was I trying to create a problem. Unfortunately, the conversation with the owner also became argumentative. I told him that I intended to file a complaint because I believed I was being treated unfairly as a person with a disability. He responded that the decision had nothing to do with my disability. I am deeply disappointed by how this situation was handled. What began as a misunderstanding caused by inconsistent information from the pharmacy ultimately resulted in me being refused service after more than a year as a customer. I believe the situation could have been resolved through respectful communication rather than confrontation. I also believe businesses serving the public should ensure their staff receive training on effective communication and appropriate interactions with individuals who have disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum.

Whatever, I can deal with zero interaction but I'd expect better from a Target employee. How's your day, did you find everything ok... anything! My singular visit today, Friday, 02/06/26, is not the first time my experience has been disturbing. I've been using them for the past 3-4 months, one visit per month, and EverySingleTime (!!!) it's a mess with unbelievable disrespect and rudeness. I drove up to window and the pharm tech said there was nothing in the system for me but when I told her the name of the medication, suddenly it was in the system. She said she cannot dispense it and I'm welcome to go into the store and speak with the pharmacy manager (Teresa Zhang), I said "that's a great idea!" I go in, approach the window, and Teresa Zhang is there working on something. I ask "are you the pharmacy manager?" and she gives me a look of disgust, answering "yes" (I knew she is from previous interactions). She tells me she will not dispense the medication because it's too early, to return Sunday, 02/08/2026, I tell her my physician ordered this medication for pick up today and that I'm only following my physician's instructions. She then starts talking about some sort of arbitrary policy, that's not posted anywhere nor available to find online. She also said that I've been picking up my Rx early over the past few months and because of that, I have to wait. Because of my previous experiences with Teresa, I was already angry, and we started yelling over each other - creating a scene with pharmacy staff and all the clients waiting watching. When I started (first time) with this medication I should have been notified about her beliefs being imposed on patients, at least I would have known and been prepared. Knowing would have also given me the chance to do business with another pharmacy. On one occasion, Teresa Zhang refused to dispense my prepared prescription (she waved it in front of me through the drive through window), saying I need to return the old, unused medication before she will dispense the prescription she was waving in front of me. Granted the Rx is a controlled substance, but my physician determined the old medication doesn't work and I needed a new (similar) medication. There is no indication, anywhere, that clients/patients must return old, unused medication to retrieve their new one. Because of my need, I went home, picked up the old medication, returned, and when I dropped the medication she said "thank you" but in a really snarky way and after the transaction was complete, another snarky toned "have a good day." Stay away!!!
