I've never felt so disrespected like this in a long time. I have a torn meniscus and ACL in my right knee, my physical therapy doctor gave me a prescription for Norco. I dropped it off at the pharmacist on 12/14/20 and I asked her (do you need any more information from me) she stated NO it would be ready in an hour. I said ok, but I'll come by and pick it up tomorrow 12/15. Well today I come pick it up and it was never filled out. The pharmacist said the name doesn't match the slip and insurance card! When I showed them BOTH Insurance card and state ID it showed both of my last names. Then they told me they cold only give me 6 pills instead of 15 because of my last name! WTF my last name has to do with the number of pills the doctor prescribed to me! So if your name is Williams or Jackson you can only get half. They made me feel like a f**king drug seeker that can't have those kinda pills. They Also told me to take my prescription to another pharmacy to see if they can fill it. So now I'm still in pain writing this in there parking lot. I'm going to have my meds and anything else switched to a whole different place. I'm done with every CVS in the US. read more

Yea- I am a fan because no matter what time of day or night- they are open, so that alone would warrant a 5 star, BUT the prices seem to be a little higher ever since they changed from being Long's Drugs! That being said...when your kid or hubby or pet is sick and you need some meds- THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Great Service at this location! I come here to have $$ put on a card for my daughter. It doesn't matter when I come in this store, there is always one line open, but this store is always busy. Which is a good thing, but it usually take them a good minute to get some help. The cashiers are always very professional. The store is extremely clean and the shelves are always stocked well. I do like that if you are looking for something that you can't find. The ladies at the front register will call for someone to come and assist you right away.I like that service and I wish more stores offer it. I don't know if anybody else besides me ever just walk around in cicles many times in a store looking for a particular item. OMG, I have to laugh at myself just thinking about it. Had another frustrating experience with this CVS, and this time also with the extracare customer service. This morning I get a 33% coupon in my email. I printed a hard copy and gave it to my wife. She tried to use the coupon and the sales clerk can't get it to work. She says to call extracare customer service and I did. Extracare customer service tells me to go back to CVS and then call extracare customer service and she'll give them a sequence # to use. I read off the sequence # on the printed coupon and explained that it didn't work. She said to go back and try again. It's disappointing to that CVS has no interest in fixing a problem. Just go back and do the same thing and hope for different results. I threw the coupon away. read more

I had an awesome experience at CVS today.I normally dont shop at this location due to the area...I live closer to the Laguna CVS, but I was in the area so I decided to stop because I was in need of paper towels (I had a $1.00 off coupon and $1.00 buck reward too:-) I pulled in and proceeded to park but the space was being blocked by two presumably homeless men with shopping carts ..im thinking damn, I should have went to the Laguna location smh. I make it in the store and I went straight to the paper towel aisle searching for Sparkle paper towels..well I found the spot and an empty shelf..I proceeded to find someone to assist me and I found the most pleasant professional assistant manager. She apologized for not having my item in stock after she checked other areas in the store in an effort to locate the Sparkle paper towels, with no luck. The highlight of my experience was when she offered to accommodate me with another brand for the same price.i told her of course I would love that. Now the Sparkle paper towels are $5.00 for a 6-pk minus my $1.00 coupon minus my $1.00 buck reward.. $3.00 right? Well she sold me a 6-pk 2ply of Bounty paper towels for the same price.are u serious? Just went to this new location to cash in my $7 of Extra Bucks that I earned from buying too much stuff from CVS last spring. Grand Opening signs all around outside and a big, new-smelling inside. There was barely anyone there, which was nice for me, but hopefully business picks up for them if they want to succeed here. I never went to the old location, but I assume this will be a big improvement. And this one is open 24 hours 7 days a week, including the drive-thru pharmacy. read more

Worst pharmacy...ever....after giving multiple opportunities to this company I'll be changing my prescription to another company. Consistently have problems filling prescriptions in a timely manner, always on hold for extended periods of time and still have to wait when arriving to pick up. :( ...I think between 4 to 5 hours should be an adequate enough time to getting a prescription filled. I understand I am not the only person in the world attempting to get their medication. ...but I swear, cvs pharmacy just makes me want to strangle myself with my feet...I'm pretty sure I'll have an adequate amount of time to physically figure out how to do that....while....waiting.... ...on the positive side, the people behind the counter are friendly. read more

Customer service was excellent, as soon as we walked into cvs there was a worker that greeted us and ask us if we needed help finding anything. As we were walking throughout the store, I noticed everything was well-organized and neat. The frozen section was neat and the ice wasn't caked on. Overall this establishment is great. read more

I went there with my grandma and she wanted to buy chicken broth that was on sale, we had to get a rain check. it took over 3 weeks and for me to call the corporate office to FINALLY get the chicken broth. They stopped stocking it on the shelf, when it was on the shelf they only put out 4 cans. I asked the manager when they would have some more they told me to come back tomorrow, when I went there they still didn't have it. I had gone to 2 locations everyday for 3 weeks. I thought it was a little bit of false advertisement. One of the workers there told me that I could buy their brand instead. Another worker told me to go to any store and buy the brand that I want and bring in the receipt and they will reimburse the difference. What is with the CVS card? what a waste of time and paper/plastic. Not to mention a pain to have to carry it in your wallet or key chain read more

Pros: 1) It's convenient and near my drive home. 2) Staff is usually nice and helpful. 3) Aisles are organized and easy to maneuver around. Cons: 1) There are people begging outside. There's a caucasian guy who hangs out front or in the corner and dog stares you to give him money. He's very pushy and creepy. 2) Most things you want (makeup sponges, hair brushes) are locked up with a red pin and getting someone to release the product is close to impossible. The cashierers are busy and unable to help. 3) Pharmacy drive through is good but walk up is not that great. In summary: They've started locking up things I buy often and it's very difficult to get in and out quickly when you have to wait for assistance. read more

ZERO STARS This location.... LACKS customer service, understanding, patience, listening skills, management, kindness, awareness, accountability. I can keep going, but I have more to say. Made an apt for covid test at 11:10 am. Waited in the drive thru per instructions EVERYWHERE (I can read signs), waited my turn in one line for 20 + minutes to be told I was in the wrong line. The guy wouldn't give me the test for my son. So the lady in the vehicle behind me heard this, got out of her car when I left to go into the "correct, unmarked" line, all the way to the end.... She starts yelling at everyone at the window and guess what? They accommodated her! She jumped the correct line, which wasn't posted anywhere. So I got angry called, spoke to someone who clearly didn't understand the situation of taking time off work, kid being out of school and apt times and being prepared, repeated the same bull to me about the lines, to which I said - There are NO signs about this!! There is NOTHING that says only THIS line is for covid testing. She said they didn't put the signs up after they repaved the driveway?? But they put up all the other signs? Which is about 7 or more and nothing about lane 1 being strictly Covid testing. So after she hung up on me, I got out of my car and did the same thing the lady behind me in the wrong line did and was told I needed to wait in the back of the line like everyone else, even though I had now at that point been waiting for over 30 minutes. Each car takes over 11 minutes to get through. I have stuff to do. Just like everyone else who makes appoints and makes the effort to be at their scheduled (from you, CVS) appointment. You are clowns and don't care about the customer and patient. You don't care at all that you were wrong, and treated me differently. In customer service, you should have said, hey, come around inside and I'll help you or go to the minute clinic, cut the line like the lady behind you did that we took first. How about an apology? How about saying, come around like she did, or making the "exception" to shoot the test down the tube like you do for other prescriptions? You guys need training and a new staff. I hate this place and do not recommend to anyone. I would hate to think this is a race thing, but in my eyes, it was. Guess I need to wear a blonde wig now to be treated like a person. How the heck do you open your store without checking your signage? Really, CVS? Especially after a "re-pavement". You put up all the other signs but not the important ones. You figured it out on the phone with me but didn't make it right. Two people stepped out of the store to check what I had said and didn't bring the signs. Call your marketing dept or your district manager, whoever to get more signs. Or train your staff where to put signs away after closing. Just saying. read more

Don't redeem your lottery tickets here. I went in and asked the cashier, Benjie if I could redeem my tickets here. He said, "yes". We walked over to the counter where the Lottery machines for checking winners are kept. "Benjie" ran them through the machine. The $1 tickets he said could not be cashed in because CVS doesn't give money for them. Try the Bel Aire up the street. The $5 one he was surprised and said, "Oh, here is $5 winning". We went over to the cash register line where we began this transaction. Benjie had me go to the back of the line while he rang up 3 customers ahead of me. When I got up to the cash register, Benjie fiddled around and finally gave me my $5 for the winning ticket-but was reluctant to do so... Later, I took the $1 tickets up to the grocery store and was told, "These have already been redeemed. We can't give you anything" . Needless to say, Benjie ended up with the money from my $1 ticket winnings. Not a lot of money, but integrity is integrity and there was none here. read more

I called in today on 9/26 at 10:30am to some lady that kept hanging up on me 5-6 times. I needed my prescription transferred. I don't know what's her problem is but if you don't want to take calls then don't work there. The worst place to get your medications when they have someone with an attitude that just hangs up on people. The most unprofessional employee. I had to tell her to stop hanging up and she transfer me over to some dude that help me at least I hope so. read more

This was one of the worst and weirdest experiences I have ever had at any store. This CVS does not have shopping carts! Not a one. I asked about it and he said they haven't had any for awhile. How is that possible? He said they just disappear. That is crazy! Can't you order more? And maybe this time with sensors if you are having problems with them disappearing? What kind of corporation let's their store run like this? This is going to be the beginning of the end for that CVS. I won't be going back. This review is regarding the CVS Minute Clinic found inside of the CVS store. Took a family member to this clinic as we were unable to take her to her usual doctor on such short notice for a hearing issue. The nurse practitioner was pleasant to work with and made the experience a good one. Sadly, the nurse practitioner misdiagnosed the issue that my family member was having and we ended up having to take them to an urgent care facility. Furthermore, we had a few issues trying to get the medication that was prescribed for this visit... even though the prescription was sent to the pharmacy within the CVS store... never thought I would see this sort of miscommunication between two entities operating through the same company. read more

We have been using this pharmacy for a year or so now and the service has went from bad to worse! Service is so bad we are changing to a different CVS. They changed hours and didn't post or announce the change. They had a 1 day wait for the new prescription called in and last straw was the pharmacy staff picking and choosing what part of their job they would do this week...which changed daily! People! This CVS is horrible. :( I went in there twice in one day to get meds for my sick fiancé. First i called & was put on hold for over 10 mins, so I drove there while on hold & got into the store before my call was answered.....I walked in and there were 8 people in line and only ONE cashier & they had about 3 managers walking around trying to look important but couldn't lower themselves to open a new line...needless to say, they didn't have any Theraflu :( Guess it's out everywhere. I've found my favorite pharmacist! I go in, order my prescriptions, and the pharmacist tells me 10-15 minutes. I go outside, fall asleep in my car for 20 minutes, go back in, ask for prescriptions, and then the pharmacist-- clearly frustrated tells me "...you know, when I say 10 or 15 minutes it really means 30 minutes... ...because I'm busy. They only have 1 cashier working most of the time when you come here. They have lazy employees that always sit in the back and pretend they are doing something important just so they dont have to do any work. When they finally do have 2 cashiers open get ready to stand in line for a long time. If you are getting something small and cant wait in line forever go to another store. I dont understand why they cant open up more cashiers especially on the weekends. My biggest problem is the beer. Do not buy beer from here. They dont rotate their beers. They have old beer sitting there for weeks on in. I bought Heineken, Budweiser, Bud LIght, Corona and they all taste terrible. I dont know how this is even legal. Yes I know that beer can be aged but it has to be in the right setting they just leave there beer sitting there forever even if nobody buys it. You dont believe me go buy beer from them and taste it. Beer is suppose to be refreshing but you can taste old beer. It is some what sour and spoiled and will be very acidic. Do not buy beer from here and if you hate waiting in line forever because they usually only have 1 cashier open and there is always people here trying to coupon which takes even more years.. I think I grow like 5 grey hairs every time I go here.. Note to people who go here and read this: Get your money ready before you are rang up at the cash register... If you coupon please do the math before you get rang up and have your coupon and money ready so people dont have to wait 10 years on you just to get a pack of beer. Terrible experience. i like how this is open 24 7. we usually come here to the pharmacy weekly or if we are sick. they have quick service and less waiting and are accurate with giving the prescriptions and etc. we also like to come here and coupon at night and find bargains and sales on stuff. it is organized with the aisles and the store is not too big so it is easy to find the stuff quickly and leave. i like the layout of this store. the workers here are sometimes slow but they are friendly and always help me with stuff and questions when i need them. also they have a red box outside of this store so that is another attraction that draws m here to come get a movie and then get some junk food and beer to enjoy on a weekday night. they also have pretty decent prices of alcohol and sometimes are on sale with a good deal especially during holiday season. oh and they stop selling alcohol at 11 pm. its convent for me because it is close to home so this is a plus to come here when I'm bored or need something. read more

This is in regards to the pharmacist Mojdeh at this store. I work for a large hospital in the area which I will not mention the name of and contact this store many times in regards to work purposes and every time I have an issue it is always that pharmacist. She is rude, unwilling to do anything to resolve issues and honestly does not know a thing. She changes prescriptions to completely different brands that we did not prescribe and when we call for her to fix it she refuses to even when she was the one who messed it up to begin with. She even refuses to take verbals because it is too much work on her end. She is absolutely ridiculous and needs to be addressed. If you need further proof of her incompetency simply open your yelp page and numerous customers have mentioned her name. She is a risk to patient care and I am aware she has been complained about numerous times already. read more

Employee/cashier doesn't honor CVS's own coupon. I went in to buy some things. I had a printed CVS coupon for $1 off one item. Before the employee even scanned any of my other items, or my coupon, she told me I can't use the coupon for that size of the product. She told me it would be too cheap if I used the coupon (about 10cents & I would have to get another size) I told her the coupon said it had to be at least this size & the product I have is over the specified amount. I.e., the coupon can be used for the product I was attempting to purchase. She then said it's expired & I told her the coupon doesn't expire til the end of the week. She then said they don't accept printed coupons. All this talk without her even attempting to look at my coupon. All she saw was a strip of white paper in my hand & me trying to show her it. She then proceeded to lecture me about how "this is a business & a profit needs to be made".. She didn't even try to start ringing up my other items either. So much for attempting "to make a profit". Tell your manager you lost a customer & $10+ sale over a $1 coupon. read more

I had the worst experience at the pharmacy today. My doctor faxed over a prescription for me during my appointment so afterwards I drove straight to this CVS. I waited in line for over 10 minutes only to be told I needed a consultation and it would take 45 minutes - 1 hour since the pharmacist just went to lunch. I wasnt bothered with this since I live down the street. I went home and came back over an hour later. I waited in line for over 5 minutes which bugged me but it cant be helped since the pharmacy was understaffed. When it is finally my turn I was told they're filling my prescription "right now. " I told the man I thought all I needed was a consultation. He said I do but my prescription wasn't ready. I ended up stepping aside for a few minutes to wait for my prescription. When my name is called, the guy scans my prescription and forgets to mention I didn't have insurance on file (this is my second time at the pharmacy) so he sends me to the "drop off" counter. A girl was on the computer typing away for another few minutes before she calls me over. I hand her my card and after typing some things down she hands me back my insurance card and tells me I have to wait for the pharmacist because the pharmacist was finishing up an injection for someone else. At this point I have been back in the store for over an hour. The girl leaves so I start playing on my phone and next thing I know there is a line forming behind me. The same girl that took my insurance card came and asked if she can help me. I reminded her I was waiting for the consultation. She told me I was in the wrong line and sent me to the consultation counter. At this point I'm just playing on my phone trying to kill time. The first guy who helped me came to use the computer next to the consultation counter so I asked him if the pharmacist was still busy. He then says she was not busy and tries to give the excuse that they have been busy and basically forgot about me. He went to talk to the pharmacist who was super rude. She kept asking ME if I had a question. I repeatedly told her I did not have any questions and I was only waiting for her because 2 different employees told me I needed a consultation. She ended up telling me to just go to the "pick up" window and a different girl finally helped me so I can leave that crappy place. In the end I didn't even get a consultation from the pharmacist. I fully understand and was patient because the pharmacy was understaffed BUT that is not an excuse for lying to and forgetting about a customer. read more

I do enjoy the savings I get when I come to CVS. I love the feel of the store too. It's roomy, not crowded. The aisles are pretty small, but it's not bad to get what you're looking for. I'm usually in there a couple times a month since the new location opened. Prior, I had never went to CVS for hardly anything. I love the folks that work there. They're always smiling and cheerful, and very helpful in getting you extra savings when possible! Great store, great people. read more

The pharmacy located at Freeport and Florin is by far the best CVS. Although I only use CVS and I love CVS since I've moved here to the South Sacramento area this is the only one that I choose to visit. Sometimes if I workout late night or I'm up and I can't sleep and I just want to go shopping I go here. I have gotten to know all of the managers they all know who I am just buy seeing me come here so often. Anytime I've had any problems or issues someone always takes care of me. The security guard always greets me with a smile and the cashiers are extremely courteous and even know some people by their first name. This is the type of atmosphere that I love and a convenience store and pharmacy. The only awful thing is that the pharmacy here is not 24 hours and they close quite early but other than that everything is Grand. read more

The store is new and looks great! I was immediately assisted and asked if I needed help at least 5 times! The big wigs of corporate were there so this may or may not have been a factor. I am going to just believe that it was not. I was very pleased with the service and the pharmacy tech, Ebony, was very patient with me as I had to transfer scripts from two different states! I was able to get a new card as well and it was fun to talk to the cashier. She was personable and made sure I had my wine double bagged. I have been a customer here since they were across the street. Have used this pharmacy for forever But it's gone way downhill recently. The past 3 months I have had nothing but problems picking up rx here. I have to wait 3 -5 days to get my rx that they have to order. It's ridiculous! I am currently out of my meds for 3 days and now I have to wait till monday and on meds you are not supposed to stop suddenly. Very unsatisfied! I do not see how they can keep doing this. When they were open 24hrs things were way better. Now everytime I go I'm waiting in long lines both inside and drive thru just to pick up my rxs. Also notice new people working there every few weeks. Probably the rudest most unprofessional pharmacy I've ever been to. After spending nearly 2.5 hours in urgent care, I took my Rx to the nearest pharmacy around 8:30 pm. Looking as if I'm on my death bed, before I even ask for Rx to be filled I was 'greeted' by a tech who grumbled 'we can fill your Rx we're too busy'. Mind you I have a 104 degree temp and am visibly ill. When I then asked to have my Rx faxed over to my local CVS the same rude tech yelled out that they don't do that. Now, I wasn't born yesterday, and seeing as I've worked in the medical field for about 7 years I know a Rx can be faxed from one CVS to another. Instead of trying to help me, the rude tech made every effort to make sure I wasn't helped. Not a hello. Not a how are you. Nothing. So instead I went to the nearby Walgreens where their pharmacist saw how sick I was and opened up her pharmacy to help fill my Rx knowing I arrived late in terms of getting a prescription filled. Because of this piss poor customer service, I'm now removing all mine and my family's prescriptions from CVS and filling them with a company that is compassionate and willing to help their fellow human being. If you have a choice, don't use CVS and if you do, DEFINITELY DON'T use this CVS. They don't care about you or your well being. Pharmacist Chelsea at the Walgreens 2 miles away does.
