There was only one other patron in the store, and on any given day that I visit the store has a limited amount of people at one time, which makes for a better shopping experience for me personally (no lines).

(Just so their phones can stop ringing on their side) Like what? Are we supposed to pretend like I'm going to forget to call about my prescriptions? The staff is rude and lazy, spending more time joking and flirting with each other than paying attention to their customers. The female "doctor" or pharmacist on staff won't even acknowledge her customers with eye contact or a "hello"--just a curt, "Name, date of birth." The rudeness and lack of professionalism is lousy and needs to be addressed on its own--but the fact that these guys can't seem to fill a prescription unless you physically walk in and complain about it is just unacceptable. I've had to do this EVERY month since I started getting my prescriptions filled here. They forget or fail to make notes in their system, allowing patients to run out of meds. They'll also tell you they are out of stock and have to order meds, in order to buy time and push you to the next day. Just an absolutely deplorable pharmacy. Take your prescriptions ANYWHERE BUT HERE.

There is a kiosk to check yourself in. They also take some appointments. Both times I went, I had to wait a little longer than I would have liked but the experiences went really well. The nurse practitioners were very thorough in their exams and were able to provide feedback on my symptoms including medications. I was glad that they were there when I needed them. Th store itself is usually stocked and neat. The employees are helpful and available.

But good intentions don't automatically make something fair or appropriate. At this location, there are always people stationed directly in front of the doors -- not off to the side, but literally standing where customers have to walk in and out. You can't enter or exit without squeezing past them or feeling like you're being cornered to stop and talk. It creates social pressure, and it's uncomfortable. Not because I don't care about the cause, but because I don't like feeling obligated or guilty just to shop. I spoke with who appeared to be the manager about it and was told, "That's fine, but we do it because it's for a good cause." To me, that was dismissive. Customer comfort shouldn't come second to corporate charity optics. What makes it even more frustrating is that many of us already give what we can to these causes. Times are tough -- groceries and essentials are expensive -- and being physically stopped at the door adds guilt to people who are often already doing their best. Supporting a cause is wonderful. But it should never come at the expense of customer experience, comfort, or access to the store. A fair solution would be letting customers donate inside at checkout or digitally, without having to physically push past someone to enter. I hope Walgreens reconsiders this practice. Not because the cause isn't worthy, but because respecting customers' space is too.

There were NO sign on the window, NO cones blocking drive through to let customers know drive through is closed, NOTHING. I get you're busy and can't do everything, but put out signs so we could have saved ourselves the 20 minutes of sitting outside.
