You people are something else. I have been been traveling from Ann Arbor and going to this pharmacy because they are the only ones that will actually order and carry a med I take. I have never had a problem whatsoever, and while the front line may take a long time and is annoying with one cashier, the pharmacy is vey friendly and does a good, quick job. Had the absolute worst experience post surgery with my husband post surgery and CVS pharmacy trying to take compete control over the pain medication leaving my husband in pain and only allowing to give him what they saw fit, constantly changing messages in system to delay time, treating my husband as if he was some addict requiring him to have to come inside to argue in his pajamas with the pharmacists, did the same thing with his antinausea medication, I understand what they are trying to do but NOT with the individuals who really need their own medication that the doctor prescribed, , he should had been home in bed recooperating and healing but instead had to take multiple trips to CVS because you can't get ahold of anyone on the phone, this caused him so much stress and delayed his healing. if you fell your prescriptions here I would advice taking it somewhere where people actually care and not feel they are above the doctors, they will never get our business again and we been in this town for over 30 years read more

Terrible pharmacist.and terrible service. It's impossible to get anyone on the phone. Thete are constant shortages. The pharmacist asks unnecessary questions and scolds you and thi ks he is above your doctor. He has avery authoritarian mindset. . He doesn't know more than the doctor who is actively managing the prescription and staying in contact with the patient, yet he thinks he does. It's as if his mission in life is to make your life more difficult and invade your privacy. . Stay away from this location. read more

I have been using this CVS for six years. The pharmacy staff provides exceptional customer service even when it is super busy. Most pharmacies are understaffed. I suspect this one is no different, but that hasn't impacted the courteous and prompt service. read more

I have recently become a patient/customer of the CVS Pharmacy on Michigan Ave. in Saline, and thus far, could not be happier with them. I transferred my prescriptions 3 months ago, and am very pleased with the way my prescriptions have been handled. It took less than 3 hours for staff to get them transferred and refilled - and give me a phone call and a text at night, to tell me they're ready! Love the text program for refills. And the drive-up pharmacy access is a game-changer for me personally. The pharmacy manager Sam K. spent significant time with me yesterday going over a very expensive new medication, discussing how to proceed, and honestly talking about the co-pays. He was kind & cheerful, and told me to call him directly if I have further questions. I also had vaccinations here in Nov. - I used the online registration for a date/time, and got moved to the head of the line when I arrived. Everyone I've met in this pharmacy location has been kind, very pleasant, & offered cheerful assistance. It's a really busy pharmacy, so there is a bit of a wait inside, but they seem to be able to move it along from my experience. I have also had 2 positive experiences with the staff at the front registers. So far, very happy I made change to Saline CVS Pharmacy. Kudos Sam! read more

Every single time I use this pharmacy they're incredibly rude. They never have the medications and take forever to get them, or they give you a ridiculous excuse as to why it won't be ready until a week later. Any time I call it's nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and when I do they act annoyed and say they don't have time for questions because they're busy. I don't know why people rush to write such negative comments. This pharmacy is coordinated, always on top of current medications. I've been using this pharmacy for over 10 years, at times with insurance and at times without insurance. A staff ALWAYS took the time to find me alternative $ saving prescription costs. And over the years I've used this pharmacy for a wide variety of medications; narcotics, antibiotics, acne medication, eczema etc etc, and I have never had issues with being short or told that they don't carry. All the pharmacists have been respectful and kind, even during the busiest hours! The assistant staff, are also the kindest and hardest workers that you will ever encounter. I understand if you don't have enough to fill a complete prescription, but to not order the rest, then finally order more TWICE just to get the rest of the prescription when we complained, then call and say the rest of the prescription is ready, only to be told when we went to pick it up that they gave it away is total garbage. Not to mention when we tried to find a way to get the rest we were told we had to take care of it ourselves. This is only the most recent story, and we will absolutely never go back there. Do yourselves a favor and go to Meijer or Walmart- they seem to have their stuff together. The CVS bag tag program has ended. I received a $2 off coupon and my tag will no longer accrue coupon points. (It used to be, bring your own bag four times and get a $1 off coupon.) I guess it was too good to be true. I have moved on to Jensen's Pharmacy, I get most of my vitamins from Meijer or Trader Joe, and I'm good with cosmetics for a long while. So I'll only go to CVS if I happen to need medicine in the middle of the night. read more

This pharmacy is by far the worst; the customer service was horrendous. I didn't get her name but I do know that as customers of CVS we were mistreated. Her tone was condescending generally unhelpful and her delivery is not what patients need in their time of discomfort or pain. Although the insurance was not accepted at CVS, that should not impact how customer service representatives should act toward the client. read more

I love Sheri, she wore a beautiful color necklace today which really brightened my day when I saw it. So cheerful! She sends out positive energy to everyone in the store :) The manager is wonderful! She has a beautiful smile and beautiful long hair. I could not print the crts from the red machine at first and she immediately came to help me, she also helped me check out when a crt had a hiccup :) Wonderful employees here and I will definitely shop CVS more :) Besides this store is right next to the postal office, which is very convenient location wise. We can make a quick stop to this CVS to grab something we need every time we go to the post office, cannot get any better than that! This CVS has become my go to shopping place, we get all our toothpaste, mouth wash, skin care, body lotion and my kids snacks, a great place to go! read more

The only reason I ever go into CVS is because one my friends works there. Once in a while I come here if I'm really in a crunch. First of all, their prices are ridicously expensive. Especially if you do not have a CVS card, which of course, I never have mine on me. If you just forgot it though, they can look it up. I just get very frustrated with this particular branch because they are so slow. There will be 8 people in line and only one cashier, and the other 2 cashiers will be behind the counter or mulling around the store doing God know what. And that one cashier really takes their time. I have a life people! Let me get on with it! I guess the only reason to come here is if you are really in a pinch at say, 3:00 in the morning, because everything else in Saline is closed. read more

This is the worst CVS I have EVER been to!! Their pharmacy is absolutely terrible! Apparently CVS registers their Rx customers for auto-refill - without asking them first. I attempted to have a prescription filled at a different pharmacy but I couldn't get it because CVS had decided to auto-fill it. I then had to call CVS and demand they un-enroll me from the auto-fill program I never registered for. I'll now have to call the other pharmacy and ask them to re-run the Rx. Thanks for wasting my time, CVS! Additionally, the woman I spoke to on the phone at CVS lacked customer service experience because she was not pleasant whatsoever. We've been using the pharmacy for two years, with mixed results, but today was another story. Prescription was handed to clerk at 9. She said that they were short-staffed and would take a few hours - annoying, but whatever. At noon, I went in to see if anything had been done, and the clerk had not even entered my information. My script was sitting on the counter and she handed back to me. There were 5 other people working at this point too. Not only was there no service, the clerk was indignant when handing me the script. This place sucks. I live in Saline, right around the corner. I get my regular scripts filled here. At LEAST 50% of the time I have a problem filling my script, a different reason all the time, (same script, 3 years) I don't know where to start the list. I've also been given the WRONG medication prescribed to a DIFFERENT person, (which was like heart meds!) and other fun experiences. I have a chronic pain condition. Every month, it's the same crap at CVS. I drop off my regular script, then I pick them up, and I find that they did not give me the full amount. (40 pills.) They'll give me 33, 32, 31- 30. I guess whatever they feel like? When I inquire, they say my insurance won't cover it. So I reply "Ok, I'd like to fill the rest of the script OUT OF POCKET." (I have flex reimbursement, what do I care if it's $5 a pill?) They say "OK, let me check with so and so." Then they either say "Ok, we'll get it ready for you, drive around," OR one of a dozen reasons why they "can't" fill it. All are bogus. They don't like that it's a narcotic, and they give me a hard time about it. Tonight, when I picked up my pills, (sigh) The guy said it was "insurance fraud" that I wanted to pay out of pocket for the last pills not covered by insurance. Really? How in the world is it fraud if I"M PAYING FOR IT? I've had trouble with breathing meds, antibiotics, birth control, hormones, you name it. Basically, if my dr calls in a script and I go to pick it up, I can bet money there will be some issue on cvs's end. I also get wonderful refill "courtesy" calls about old cancelled scripts I've asked to stop now 3x. I've specifically asked, clearly, for something specific (say, including a medical device the dr put on the script) saying I wanted it- covered or not, and still, even with a verbal clear reminder, and it in writing- not received said items. every time. I've been going here for 6 years and as my health deteriorates and I rely on them more, the more obvious it is just how unbelievably incompetent this staff body is. I decided tonight that they are the most incompetent, unprofessional business I have ever encountered, and I'm well travelled. Unfortunately, I'm finding as a new Saline resident, that it's just how people operate around here. Cvs is horrible, but most all the businesses around here are complete disasters with horrible customer service, unprofessional workers, and it's so disappointing. I mean, I try to support the local places but I keep finding that I'm somehow bothering the owners by spending my money there. Oh, also, I have noticed really REALLY long waits for script pick ups. I've heard people complain out loud of waits of 45 minutes for a simple pick up with several staff behind the desk. I've heard complaints of incompetence from many folks in my visits there. As far as staff, i have never in my life seen so many staff changes in one place. It's seriously a new person behind the pharm desk every time I go. They are almost always a young person, completely clueless and very unhelpful. (read, untrained.) The manager is a bloodshot man that looks like he's high who's got to be the most unprofessional and rude person I've ever met. Whenever he is called over to "help" (often half in street clothing and looking like he may fall asleep at any given moment... I know it's going to be a pathetic show of him acting like I'm bothering him, and him being completely uniformed and or unhelpful in any way. You know what, buddy? this is YOUR JOB. This is the guy that trains (ehem) these constantly changing staff. No wonder this place is so bad. Is it me, or do people in Saline all hate their lives? (not my quote, but I am starting to believe it.) I go because it's the only "real" pharmacy in Saline, close to my house, open 24 hours. Nothing else is open or an option often for what I'm prescribed. As for the store part of CVS, there are some scary folks working there. Lots of desperate people that can't find jobs, nor understand customer service or basic personal hygiene. There are some nice people that work there too, but the term redneck does come to mind. I don't see what is so great about this town, and I don't believe the education system is as good as what they'd like you to believe.... Don't go to cvs here, in fact, stay clear of this town at all costs. Nothing to see here, keep moving. This pharmacy is understaffed, always a wait in line. Most of the tech's seem to have zero experience, have trouble pronouncing meds. The medications are unorganized, taking the tech 3 walks around the pharmacy to find my medications, even though I have had the same meds refilled month to month- its bad enough to not feel well, then have all this to deal with!! My last refill, they ran out of and I missed a dosage thanks to them. read more

Know exactly what prescriptions your doctor is prescribing and check your order before you leave. Last night they forgot to mix the powder for my liquid antibiotics despite the large pink note on the bag reminding them to mix it before giving it to the customer. Then they only gave me one of the two prescriptions the doctor prescribed. When I inquired about the second one the tech got irritated with me like it was my fault they made a mistake. read more

Our family utilizes this CVS due to proximity of our home. Every time we come to pick-up our Rx, the car or in-store lines are always ridiculous. They seem to always be understaffed and bothered by how busy they are. There seems to be no sense of urgency to get people in and out to reduce wait times and frustration. This needs to be improved as it is one of the only mainstream pharmacies in town. Maybe another drug store could alleviate this problem. read more

On a recent visit I brought a paper grocery sack in with me to bag my purchases. At the register the clerk proceeded to put the bottle of liquor I was buying in a plastic bag, so I reached over, removed it from the plastic and put it in the paper bag, saying that that's why I brought the bag with me--I don't need more bags. She got all incensed and said that what I was doing was against the law, that liquor has to be bagged as she was doing. That sounded bogus to me, so I did some checking. The Saline Chief of police is unaware of any such ordinance. I'm not sure this is typical of the Saline CVS, but you can bet I will avoid this store in future. I don't appreciate it when folks make up stuff like this and use it to intimidate. read more

I have been going to CVS in Saline for Seven years. I have multiple chronic health issues. Needless to say these issues require meds. After having a two week battle with my insurance company to cover the drug I need, I got approval. My prescribed drug was a 10 mg I picked up the prescription, I did not open until I got it home. They incorrectly filled it. They filled same med but 5mg. When I called the store they said that I had to wait until the "head pharmacist came in 8:00 am I called my Dr to inquire about the prescription. They confirmed the dosage. I called back and spoke to the "head pharmacist" He said that they called my Dr office and spoke to someone that confirmed the change. When I disagreed with him, he took offense and swore at me then hung up the phone. Never use this pharmacy.. They won't give you the correct amount of medicine. Then tell you that it's not their problem. The pharmacist told me that we don't know what happens after it leaves the building. So count your medicine before you leave the building because they will short you and blame it on you like your a drug addict!! Very rude and unprofessional staff!! Pharmacy is horrible, horrible, horrible. Everyone that works there totally lacks in customer service, IF you can get them to acknowledge that you are even standing there. If they all dislike it so much, please get another job, NOT dealing with people. No one ever seems to be able to answer any question I have, they never bother to ask if they can explain any of the scripts to me. I took my mom in there after her cornea transplant surgery, and it was a big giant mess, no one seemed to know what they needed, what they were doing. I went back later after I got her to rest, and spoke with someone that finally knew what they were doing, but she was still rude. I have always went there for convenience of being able to go at any hour, but I will be switching my pharmacy and will not be giving them my business anymore. I got a script yesterday for my son, they sent me a text saying to call with my insurance info, I called, was put on hold over and over for a period of 17 mins, and when the girl finally had time for me, she was rude, huffy, and not friendly at all. I had to tell her, look, I got a text from you guys to call....I am not calling on my own, so don't act like I am putting you out. Then I get home, and I don't even see the correct insurance on the script (I should have checked before I left, but I figured since I called, spoke to a live person, it would be ok. WRONG!) Also my son needed a peak flow meter, the pharmacist said they were out, but could have one in a day or 2, another girl (pharmacist?? I dunno) said they couldn't get them and I would have to go to a medical supply store....and it needed a script so they would have to call and have it transferred over once I figured out where I could get one.
