She recommended a new product from Covergirl and even took the time to help me find the perfect shade. She also shared a few helpful makeup tips, which I really appreciated. Stand in line for 5 minutes and you'll undoubtedly see at least 1-2 people walking away from the counter empty handed and dumbfounded. Normally i'd by coy about this sort of thing but let's call a spade, a spade. What you're looking for is the pharmacist with the blue hair (big shock). Now while she has the education of a pharmacist, she has personally decided she's a doctor. You need to watch out for her, bc if she disagrees with your doctors opinion (the one with the actual MD) she will void your persciption and refuse to dispense it. Unfortunately this is what happens when you give a peanut of authority to people who were bullied and never received therapy. Which is all plainly obvious when you interact with her. I have watched (and personally experienced) dozens DOZENS of customers stand flabbergasted while she waxes poetic about her vast knowledge of pharmacology and how she can't dispense a medication until the doctor writes a prescription using the words of her choosing (that's no hyperbole I'm being dead serious). She has called an MD i see and made him (a doctor of 30 years) write the words that don't upset her fragile mind. One prescription I picked up from location 8 times when suddenly, it's verbiage perturbed her and she denied it until re written. Bur fret not walgreeens corporate! i've done your job for you! I have recorded in video and audio the last 3 times she's done it to me, as well as her refusal to provide me her name to file a complaint. Which uhhhh ohhhhh is against company policy :o But in case you don't like that idea, I've submitted everything to the California State Board of Pharmacy. Enjoy!

Went to the travel section for toiletries and saw three opened/stolen items, despite several cameras above that aisle. There wasn't a security guard at the entrance where they normally are to tell the woman about the dog, and I noticed no other employees noticed either. Before I left I mentioned all this to the woman at Guest Services (who would've/should've seen the woman and her dog. She had no answer to that or the stolen items and lack of security.

They fill my meds without me having to call and harass them to do so. So it was never an "insurance issue" it was a Walgreens issue. This place is nice, the pharmacists are compassionate and well educated. I always feel very taken care of here. Plus, there's rarely a line. If you're reading this and you're not happy with your current Pharmacy, I would highly recommend this place. I am a longtime chronic pain patient, and switching to Anchor has made my life so much easier. Thank you, Anchor drugs!!

It feels less like being assisted and more like employees are simply putting customers on hold to avoid answering calls. There is no excuse for leaving customers waiting for hours without an update, callback, or resolution. If your staff is overwhelmed, management needs to address the staffing or phone system rather than leaving customers sitting indefinitely. Customer service means actually communicating with your customers. Unfortunately, my experience has been frustrating, unprofessional, and completely unacceptable.

It has slightly improved over the years but is still not a pharmacy I would personally choose to fill prescriptions at if it wasn't due the limitations of our insurance. The drive-thru window is consistently not attended to and the service button to call someone is really useless as the employees take their sweet time coming to answer it. Parking and going inside is a shot in the dark because regardless of time or day, the pick-up line could be 10 people deep or empty. The employees are less rude than they used to be, at least the ones I've recently encountered, but they still don't go above and beyond to make your trip/experience there pleasant. I do also want to gripe about the mobile pick-up counter. Apparently, even if you order, checkout and pay in advance online, you can't use this counter and must stand in the regular line. What is the point of this counter and sign then? Do better, CVS Pharmacy.

I have used…read morethis place before and when I completed my Physical I went out the Doctors office, walked about 12 steps to the window and showed I.D. Sat for about 2-3 Minutes. Paid and talked to the Pharmacist and was done!!! Great service with all and easy parking. Also a Guard watching my Car the WHOLE TIME!!! Use it or lose it people. there is never any more 5 or 6 People in there.
